They do things that those who admire them would find unspeakable; Hawks sleeping with a man twice his age, Endeavor cheating on his wife who he’s estranged from but technically still married to, Endeavor sleeping with a man the same age as his only daughter.
It’s disgusting, and they both know it.

It’s impossible to figure Dabi out, because Hawks has no idea what he wants.
The things he doesn’t want are easier to name—his identity, his past, his unmarred face. He’d burned those things away long before Hawks had ever met him. And surely, at that same time, he’d burned away all traces of his soulmark. Why would he leave behind something that could identify him, or tie him to someone else? If he ever had one, it’s probably just more charred skin, now.
It shouldn’t bother Hawks, but it does. Because Hawks knows what he wants, for himself.
