Summary
Miraculously, Wash doesn’t go to prison. According to the UNSC, Agent Washington dies on the same day as his former best friend — a still, gray heap in the snow left behind for the last time. At least this time, he deserved it.
For all intents and purposes, that's how it should've gone. Instead, a higher power takes a rare pity on him, and during the time he’d passed out, he was unceremoniously deposited into the parallel universe where the Reds and Blues pull him out of the snow, spray paint his shoulder plates yellow, and take him home.

Summary
Felix has a small, curated list of things to do. It's not much: settle a few scores, learn how to sleep again, and kill Malcolm Hargrove. That last one should be easy. Felix doesn't even need to survive the attempt, if that's what it takes.
