Summary
Spider was born in a thunderstorm that nearly killed his mother. She never spoke of his origins, or her own, but they lived their lives happily amongst the forest. For a time at least. As groups of hunters come closer and closer to finding their home, Spider can't help but question why she kept them both away from others.
When his mum gets sick, his only choice is to go to them for help.

Summary
I only wanted to learn, to bridge the gap between human and Na’vi cultures. I told myself TAP would be a good way of rekindling what Dr. Augustine started with her school. The local clans would never accept us, but the Western Frontier had promising candidates, and initial contact went well. We were told where we could contact the Sarentu clan.
Maybe we could avoid the violence that plagued the interactions with the clans around Hell’s Gate, maybe the Na’vi near the new base would be willing to allow us to teach their children. Their culture had so much to offer us, and we thought we had something to offer them.
It was for the sake of the children.
For the children.

Summary
Kiri didn’t need him to have blue skin, or be as tall as her, or be able to connect in Tsaheylu; she only needed him to be with her, and her with him. Her love for him channelled the power of Eywa and helped bring about the end of the war. But if the science guys made him an Avatar, neither of them was complaining.
Spider would go to the edge of the world for Kiri. When the Great Mother gave him a task, he quite literally did. His departure wasn’t expected, but Kiri knew to hold out hope, and when he returned, she would be holding a tiny addition to their family.

Summary
Every year, on the same day, Jake would go to the Tree of Souls with his most treasured picture in hand. A picture taken just before he left Earth, one of his human daughter, only three years old. He would pray to Eywa to see her just one more time, to meet the person she’d grown into.
He felt like a fraud, having one family with Neytiri whilst wishing to see another.
He didn’t know that the RDA knew of her. He didn't know of her Na’vi body. He didn't know what the voices in her head told her to do.
