Summary
Wallace has no interest in listening to Scott fumble his way through a conversation about Italy, so he just pulls the covers up so the cord no longer rests against his bare skin.
Then he can hear a voice drifting down from the other end of the line, "So, how are you, Scott? Do you have a girlfriend?" And suddenly he is feeling far more awake.

Summary
He's in an especially good mood tonight, mostly because he's been thinking about asking Scott to actually, officially, be his boyfriend. Scott's got to know where this is going at this point and he's almost one hundred percent sure Scott would say yes.
The only thing left now is to find the right time to ask.

Summary
The problem with Scott is that he's always there- sleeping in Wallace's bed, waiting for him when he gets home, dragging him along to gigs with this new band of his and walking to Second Cup on mornings off. There's no time to think, no space to forget.
But Wallace makes peace and with time he knows it will drift away. The memory will become hazier, less real and will fade amongst all the hands that have touched Wallace's body after. Or at least it would, if not for this.
Sequel to she was laughing in the sun.

Summary
Scott watches him drink and thinks, maybe a little meanly, that Wallace would never understand this kind of heartbreak. "Easy for you to say, there's no guy who wouldn't let you do them."
Wallace rolls his eyes. "Only gay guys. So, what, you're gonna get a boyfriend instead?"
Scott looks away at this, a little embarrassed that Wallace would suggest it, even as a joke. It's not like he's never thought about it, just thoughts. Never more than just thoughts.

Summary
“I don’t understand why you didn’t move.” He states, running one thumb so lightly over the wound that I feel barely the ghost of a touch.
Oliver and James talk about the slap.
