Summary
Knowing the marriage of his Shijie wouldn't occupy the Sects very much longer, Wei Wuxian decided it was time to move on before they targeted the Wen remnants again.
These people were his, now, and he would do anything to protect them ,but also, to see them thrive. Especially the precious A-Yuan who smiled despite the dreary enregy of the Burial Mounds.
However, trying to neutralize the Yin Tiger Seal and reinforce the barriers, an unexpected troublemaker threw his careful plans out of the window.
"Attempt the impossible" said the Jiang motto, but Wei Wuxian was unsure how to navigate his new circonstances. Luckily, in his misery, he gained a new family and maybe could he win his old one back too ? At least he would never be alone again.

Summary
Wei Wuxian's adopted son is being taught by none other than Lan Wangji, a man he never thought fate would bring back into his life. As a struggling single parent, he is happy to know that A-Yuan has someone Wei Wuxian can trust to take care of him and teach him while he's at work. One day, a few weeks into the new school year, however, Lan Wangji reports something concerning and heart wrenching to Wei Wuxian when he's dropping A-Yuan off.
