He waits for what seems like forever, rocking back and forth on his heels and fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. The chain finally rattles across and the door opens as wide as it will go Frank’s face finally appears in the gap. (Is he wearing eyeliner?)
“Gee! You made it!”
“‘Course I made it, Frankie, you know I’d never miss these parties.” He hopes to all things holy that Ray didn’t mention anything about his reluctance.
Frank flashes him a grin so bright that the sun might as well fucking resign and shuts the door momentarily. Gerard stands awkwardly for a second while Frank fumbles with the chain, and then the door swings open to reveal Frank, standing there in what has to be what Gerard’s wet dreams are made of. Yeah, he’s definitely wearing eyeliner.

Ray drags Gerard to Frank's Halloween party. Frank gets a little too drunk and Gerard is sweet enough to look after him. And maybe kiss him.
