“You knew exactly what you were doing.” Eddie pushes his thigh higher and Volt gasps. He digs the thumb of his free hand into the waistband of Volt’s pants and pulls it down just enough to reveal soft blue lace and satin. “Didn’t you? You got all dressed up for me and thought you could get away with showing yourself off while other people were around.”
He removes his hand from Volt’s shirt and roughly pulls at the bolts of his hair. “Because you’re a fucking brat, lightning bug.” He presses his lips to Volt’s jaw. “And brats need to know their place. Is that right, do you need me to put you in your fucking place?”

Summary
It had been so long since they were able to see you. One whole month without sharing a Whiskey Sour, or collapsing into your arms, or hearing your voice in the flesh instead of over the phone. So while Eddie finishes up with that day's repairs, Volt happily makes his way over to that too-familiar house. Though a question you ask him catches him quite off guard.
"Is there anything you miss about being an object?"
Volt supposes it's the feeling of electricity.

Eddie winces as Volt presses the wet cloth to his swollen lip, gazing up at him through half-lidded eyes.
“I still won, though.” He practically hisses through his teeth, his tone coming off more aggressive than intended. His chest rises and falls with each heavy breath. A drop of blood finds its way from his nose down to his chin, Volt's eyes following its trail.
Suddenly there's a ringing in his ear, and his fingers unintentionally dig deeper into the flesh of Eddie's thigh.
He’s shaking as he moves the rag to wipe under Eddie’s nose instead, trying to ignore the growing pressure in his pants. Eddie’s gaze sweeps over him, but if he notices, he makes no attempt to draw attention to it. “I’m fine, Volt. You know me. I don’t break easy.”
|In which Eddie is a professional boxer, and Volt is his very concerned manager/cornerman. Despite this, he still folds way too easily for a beaten and bruised Eddie.
