Summary
It was not on purpose, Stiles assures. Not that first time. Derek was on his computer, they were looking for a seller of frog’s skin on eBay, when Stiles realized that Derek was still living in prehistoric times.
“You still use Internet Explorer!? Wow, you must like it nice and slow.”
Clearly Stiles didn’t run this through his head first, but as soon as it left his mouth, he knew that it was a bit too forward. But maybe Derek wouldn’t get it.
Derek got it.

Summary
Angels are a species of quantum impossibility that can kill a human just by existing, and they have been forced onto a reservation in the Rocky Mountains for the safety of the humans who have slowly taken over the land they used to live on.
Dean got lost in the woods as a boy and swears an angel helped him get home, even though getting that close to one should have killed him. No one believes him and it nearly tears his family apart. Years later, the same angel crash-lands in his fishing pond, wounded and on the run.
Castiel has dangerous information about a political plot to ruin angel-human relations, and he needs help if he’s going to live long enough to expose the truth. Dean is the only person he knows who won’t die helping him, and the only person Castiel might be willing to die to protect.

Summary
The man he’s riding with is a nice guy, Dean thinks. Cas, is his name. About 30 years old.
Dean had thought he was nice from the first time the guy fucked him. He wasn’t too rough about it, even though he paid enough that he could be. He touched Dean’s hair when Dean blew him, which made Dean embarrassingly hard.
He doesn’t get a lot of affection, out here on the road, living truckstop to truckstop. It’s why even the hint of it had had Dean gambling, offering his ass up for the next few weeks if the guy agreed to take him along for the ride.
************
Dean is a truckstop hooker. Cas is a trucker. He hitches a ride with Cas, planning to head out towards California and his brother. What he finds along the way, though, might make it hard to get out.

Summary
It starts a few days earlier.
Castiel first notices it in the middle of the night when the dreams of fire and screams have kept him awake. He’s kneeling before the altar, praying, when the glass in the windows start to shake, the very air vibrating around him. Castiel is on his feet and reaching for the gun tucked into the back of his pants as the shutters over the windows start to rattle.

Summary
Thanks to a twist of fate (or cosmic joke?), Dean Wincester is now co-owner of Motel California, a barely-hanging-on spot in the middle of nowhere. It all started when Chuck thrust the papers at him, yelling, “It’s yours!” Sure, the place was a dump and his confidence was shot after 15 years behind bar, but maybe, just maybe, he could turn the motel into, well, something?
Turns out redemption runs right through the local oddballs in the neighborhood. There’s Charlie, the relentless firecracker—ready to brighten his mood no matter how grumpy he gets; Kelly, the cleaner with her pint-sized philosopher of a kid; Billie and Mort who run the diner down the road, where the food’s greasy enough to give you a heart attack; Bobby and Rufus, the record store sages who preach classic rock like it’s gospel; and Claire, the perpetually grumpy shopworker who terrifies Dean more than prison ever did. Then there’s the enigmatic Castiel—piercing blue eyes, arriving every month like clockwork, alone yet never lonely.
Dean’s finding that maybe there’s a place for him in this world after all. And Castiel? Well, he might be Dean’s shot at something real—if Dean can finally figure out who he was and who he might still become.

Summary
Atemporalia: A rare congenital condition in which a person possesses a birthmark that, in adulthood, develops into an image called a soulmark. This mark, found in the palm of the hand, is meant to “bond” an individual with a compatible mate (a “soulmate”) through a series of biochemical reactions. Persons with Atemporalia activate this process by pressing their soulmarks together. The name Atemporalia is given to this condition due to the arresting of age that occurs once the adult soulmark erupts. Persons with Atemporalia, once bonded, resume aging and can expect an average lifespan with no further impact of the condition on their lives. Prognosis for persons who do not bond is unknown.
When the case of a killer who wouldn’t die required a consultant, Dean and Sam were directed to Castiel, who possessed a particular condition that made him perfect for the role—and for Dean.
Castiel ran a humble curiosities shop in Sedona, his hunting days long behind him (though never far from his mind). When the Winchesters showed up, Castiel instantly recognized the green-eyed man before him: he was his soulmate, the one he’d waited decades for.
So he said the only thing he could say:
“Get out.”
