Summary
But sometimes, the nightmares still crawl inside to drag him back into darkness. Show him the most twisted and wretched places of his soul. The things he can never atone for.
How ironic that it catches up with him now of all times, ready to damage what is left of his battered connection with Ivan. Even after all this time, Till can’t help but to hurt him without even meaning to…
Unintentionally, his fingers are drawn back to his neck and he flinches briefly when they brush over the fresh bruises. The twisted smile on his lips deepens. He needs to set this right.

Summary
“I, Ivan, am your newly gifted guardian angel! No payment necessary.”
He’s going to be sick. Ivan even adds on a stupid fucking comment, and Till can easily imagine him planning this whole thing out and practicing it in the mirror, line by line. It eats him alive and tugs at his mind in ways he wants to strangle something over, whether if it’s himself again in the dark of his room when nothing is quiet, or someone else in broad daylight.
“I’m killing myself.”

Summary
“He occupies the biggest space in my head,” Till laughs, “And I’m starting to think that’s exactly what he wanted.”
Issac raises a brow, “You don’t think he’d want you to keep fighting?”
“Do those have to be mutually exclusive?” Till asks. Issac remains silent, as if mulling over his own preconceived notions.
Till learns to read Ivan after his death, and falls in love somewhere along the way.

Summary
They lay there together in the slightly damp grass, breaths coming in pants. Till's eyes find themselves fixed on the sky above, at the expanse of twinkling stars. He shudders as a memory flashes through his mind.
"Do you remember when we snuck out to watch that meteor shower together?" Ivan asks softly, voicing Till's thoughts out loud. It's so weird when he does that, sometimes. It's like he knows exactly what Till is thinking, even when Till himself doesn't yet.
This time, though, Till can't help but think that it's sweet that they were thinking the same thing.
With the end of high school upon him, Till can't help but worry about whether or not Ivan will remain in his life going forward.
