Summary
Demon lord Mydeimos spends his first night with his bride Phainon.
The demon lord rose from his relaxed pose, retracting his claws into less intimidating, human-like fingers before reaching out to cup his bride’s cheeks. Despite the warmth his hand was exuding, the young man still couldn’t help but shiver a little over the demon’s touch.
"Are you still afraid?"
"A little," Phainon admitted, his voice soft but uncertain.
The demon lord lifted his bride’s chin up so that he was looking directly at him before asking, "Why? Do I still terrify you even in this form?"
Phainon quickly shook his head. "No, of course not…"
"Then what are you afraid of?"
The bride cast his gaze downwards, at loss for words, too embarrassed to admit his utter lack of knowledge. Phainon doesn’t even know what he’s supposed to be afraid of, other than stating the obvious that he just married a demon lord.
