When Zoro finally decided to pay the love cook a visit at his restaurant, several years after the crew split up, he was fully prepared to be verbally assaulted with taunts and insults about his newfound weight, or get kicked in the head for not adhering to his usual diet. What he doesn’t expect is for Sanji to be… flustered.
And somehow it only escalates from there.

“Bastard,” Zoro growled as his blade whiffed past Sanji’s ear, a few strands of blonde hair flying between the two. “I can’t stand you. You piece of shit, I fucking hate you..!”
Sanji’s shoulders drew tight, before relaxing as he tried to return to his normal fighting stance. Finally, Sanji’s mouth opened.
“That’s fine," he simply replied, jumping to smash Zoro’s skull in.Sanji interrupted a battle between two swordsmen, and Zoro’s livid over it. The ensuing fight makes both their feelings known, whether they like it or not.

Zoro isn’t the type to worry. As far as he’s concerned, every time he wakes up is a blank slate. You get sliced by a six-armed swordsman, you eat a bad fish, you break a few ribs—you take a nap, and when you wake up, things are better. So that’s what Zoro expects every morning when he wakes up on deck to an eerily quiet ocean; it’s just that Sanji isn’t snapping out of it.
