“Stop fucking talking,” Scott warns, as he moves the rag from Adam's lip to his nose, wiping away the blood staining his skin before pressing the cloth against the larger cut that spans from his nose to his cheek.
Adam rolls his eyes and looks away, at anything but Scott's face. Being this close to him makes him uneasy—it's unsettling, Scott being this attentive towards him.
“Cunt,” Adam mutters, mostly just to see Scott's eye twitch. It does.
“Shut up.”
