They found me, Blade is nearby, I don’t know what’s wrong with me. He couldn’t tell if his mouth moved as fast as his mind, his body was vibrating with panic, but he had faith that the other would catch on somehow.
Although to his surprise, he only heard the older man above him hush softly, combing further into his hair, “Relax, Dan Heng, this isn’t what you’re thinking.”

Loosening his grip of the bottle, Alhaitham rested his forearms on his legs and let his head hang low, “I prefer to lead life with a clear mind, and if that means avoiding to hastily act on my physical condition, in instead maintaining my days regular schedule and harbouring satisfaction with such, then it is what it is.”
“Is what it is…” Nahida pondered, “But surely, you also notice this leads you to a rejection of both your true emotions and desires?”
“Yes,” Alhaitham nodded, arriving at the same conclusion as her, “I see that now.”

When Alhaitham falls sick only a week before the Inter-Darshan Championship and the Wisdom Gala, he is effectively rendered unable to oversee its preparations. But as he goes against all logic (very much unlike himself) and attempts to commit to his duties, it takes the wisdom of a god and many of his friends to teach him the importance of accepting care and prioritising wellbeing.
