Summary
Rusty had been talking himself down the entire car ride, halfway convinced that Danny was in trouble with the casino owners’ association or the mob or, God forbid, the IRS. He’d nearly hit a lamppost trying to remember whether Vanuatu was still on the non-extradition list. Danny doing the world’s most melodramatic and overdue coming-out was frankly restful by comparison.

Clint stares down the lat pulldown machine. He's not blinking first.
"You're being a dumbass," Kate informs him. "Cross-training is not a sacrifice of your core values as a human being."
"No, just a sacrifice of my core values as a real-ass bitch." Clint casts a scornful glance into the wall of mirrors reflecting the free weights area. "Look at these guys. Fucking robots. Insert protein powder, excrete reps. I will bite a cyanide capsule before I become one of them."
Kate rolls her eyes. "Oh yeah, neck pain and headaches are super badass. You're so cool, when I grow up I wanna develop a severe muscle imbalance just like you."
