Summary
Things are different.
George learns how to drive, but it’s Dream’s mother sitting on the passenger seat instead of his best friend. He doesn’t stream as much anymore, doesn’t know what to make of his life after getting the life he wished for, only to watch it all fall apart. Where Dream goes, George follows, and that has been both a blessing and a curse—when Dream starts pulling away to find himself another girl who fits perfectly under the shape of his arm, George does the same. He flirts and bats his lashes and finds himself a girl that won’t remind him of his best friend’s face or a boy whose voice doesn’t hiccup when he laughs. But that sours too, and he’s left with a growing sense of unease whenever Dream leaves the house all dolled up and wearing the same expensive cologne George had sprayed over a black hoodie years ago, all the way back in his shitty London flat.
