Summary
Natalie, a twenty-year-old woman with a troubled past, makes a huge mistake one night, leading her into the snowy mountains and forest. In her panicked state, she stumbles upon the ominous and looming structure of the Upper-Rank Two's temple. She seeks assistance from the stranger she knows as "Doma", eventually asking for shelter, which the generous demon eventually grants her. She is reluctant to give him any information about her as she does not trust him easily. However, this only makes the demon more curious as if he were playing a game trying to figure out little details about the intriguing and guarded woman.
✧ Curiosity is a hell of a thing, my dears. ✧
Warning: This is one of them extremely slow, slow burns... I plan on making this story really long, so be warned if you decide to pick it up. I really want to emphasize how hard it is to break away from unhealthy habits that people come to rely on.
Small update (1/19): I plan on going through earlier chapters and rewriting some things for better characterization. Will do this when I can.
