Pannacotta blinks—still in the present, but this isn't dejavu. They've done this song and dance before months ago in a restaurant.
(OR: Giorno has personal reasons for being such a private person but doesn't want to hide anymore. He opens his heart for the second time tonight for the sake of gaining trust—this time from Fugo).

Giorno reveals, "I happened to overhear you in the dining room. I was coming back when you told Fugo how you don't think you can trust me."
Mista blinks his eyes wide awake. "What? No, listen, it wasn't like that—"
"Mista..." Giorno sighs his name and doesn't sound angry or betrayed, but sympathetic, which is all the more heartbreaking. "You said, verbatim, 'It'd sure be nice to know the guy I'm always putting my life on the line for. I'm sure the others would’ve liked to as well'."
Shit. Mista cradles his head in shame. He did say that. 'You idiot! "I'm—fuck! Giorno, I'm sorry. I'm an asshole. I'm really sorry."
"No, you meant it."
"Giorno—"
"And I'm sitting here with you now because you're right. You deserve to know me. So I'm going to tell you about myself, if that's alright."
(OR: Giorno has personal reasons for being such a private person but doesn't want his family—in particular, Mista—to feel like they can't trust him).

Giorno smiles but this one isn't like Jonathan's. It's soft but not subtle. Humoring like an adult to a child who doesn't know better. "I am sure you would try your very best to do so, Jotaro-san."
(Or: Jotaro visits Italy again to continue his investigation into Giorno Giovanna as more vampire abilities develop, and decide how dangerous he might be).

Yoichi feels it again, the heat. His fingers curl into his pants to distract himself from how they are slightly tighter now, as the words tumble from Rin’s mouth so elegantly. It’s so warm in this restaurant, or maybe it’s his shirt, or maybe Rin is just too hot for him. All the time they spend apart has done this, has turned Yoichi into some horny monster that’s losing its head because Rin is talking. He’s just saying words, words Yoichi can’t even understand, but it’s getting him so worked up.
Or, Yoichi loves it a little too much when Rin speaks French.
