Bobby let go of the bar on his next swing, arcing through the air before landing, gracefully, on the mat below. “He’s not a normal guy.”

The two men would drag themselves out of the bed and towards the small kitchenette. Ken would make coffee in silence, opting to chanell all of his focus into the perfect french press. He would pour said coffee into two mugs: Shu’s mug and the mug Shu had told Ken was his. He would take both cups, heat scalding his hands, to the small two person dining table by the window of Shu’s apartment and remind Tsukishima that he did not love him.

Was it all some fucked up dream concocted from in-between doses and drinks?The increasing staccato of a heart rate monitor grabbed his attention and clearly the attention of someone beyond his ability to sense. He could hear steps rapidly approaching and voices shouting things that never quite made enough sense to be words.
Someone was coming and some 16 year old from the depths of him told him he needed out and away.
He needed to run because there was something evil that stood between Kurt Wagner and a sedative.

Kurt doesn't like painkillers because they make him remember his teen years
