Summary
Pencil is one of the only inhabitants left in the Seventh House after a mysterious event killed off half the house’s population. Her reckless attempts to escape led to her forcefully becoming the Cavalier, (knight) of the annoying and bossy Seventh House’s Necromancer, Golf Ball. The duo attends a ‘competition’ that occurs every 100 years, where the six houses fight for power, and the chance to be a guard to Emperor Two. Pencil hates her necromancer, but unbeknownst to her, that hatred becomes something more.
Firey is the necromancer of the Second House. Brooding and distant, his citizens describe him as. Firey and his cavalier, Pillow, attend the ‘competition’ to gain the prize, and he will go to any length to win, even if it means taking someone’s life.
Firey, Golf Ball, and other Necromancers fight for the power and the position to be the highly respected Emperor Two’s guard. To win, you have to find the secret of an ancient and mysterious mansion. Who will gain the power? And who will come out alive?
