    Half of New York still hated him. He couldn’t go out patrolling without being reminded of all his flaws, without all the hate, without the constant reminder that he killed people. For every person that was warm and accepting to Spider-Man, there was another that still thought of him as a menace, a murderer.

    He deserved to die.
