The transition to college is hard enough, but Violet Sorrengail also gets to add "attempting to become a hockey player" on her plate ... as well as avoid Xaden Riorson and his crew, thanks to some sketchy shit that went down with their parents and the (now-closed) University of Aretia. Or so she was always told. But things are never exactly what they seem ...

Summary

His burgeoning political career depends on her making sure fake stories don't make it into the press. One minor problem - she hates his guts, which doesn't make pulling off the biggest spin of the election cycle any easier.
Xaden never could get a grasp on where Violet's animosity towards him came from, even though now he's certain it's deserved. But after years of separation, he quickly learns that some fires haven't cooled - for either of them. Summary
The last place Violet wants to be is on a road trip with former flame, Xaden Riorson. But when Ridoc calls her and begs her for her help with a rescue mission, she has no choice but to ride beside Xaden as they rescue Bodhi and Ridoc, and maybe rescue themselves, too, along the way.
“The bad part…” Ridoc sighs again. Violet loves him, she does, but the anticipation is about to kill her, because there’s only one remaining way for this situation to worsen. Normally, she’d dismiss this worst case scenario on principle, because her friends love her too much to subject her to this particular form of torture. But Ridoc, sweet, funny Ridoc, happens to be dating the cousin of Violet’s worst case scenario, and that complicates things.
“Ridoc,” Violet says, “Big girl voice.”
“I need you to come pick me up with Xaden Riorson.”
