Since the beginning of their relationship, Kie noticed a change in her boyfriend. He was less reckless, always making sure to let her know when he was in a sticky situation, and keep her updated so that her nerves could be calmed. However, right now, it wasn’t this thoughtful JJ from the last eighteen months, but it was a similar one from the day he left her in his garden and drove away on his motorcycle. Kie thought it was fine, she knew him all too well and could deal with it.

She shifted closer to him, buried her head in his chest again, making herself comfortable for the night. “Is this okay?”
