“Sure, I mean I can go with you.” Cody picked at his nails, he wasn’t looking at David. “It’s just for Christmas, and well you talk so highly of your family, and well.. I don’t know..”
“They’ll think you are my boyfriend.”
“Let them think what they want.”
Woah. David's heart pounded. Cody didn’t understand the situation, David needed to explain it better. “No- You don’t get it. I would want them to think you are my, my boyfriend. I wouldn’t want to tell them you aren’t.”
