The healed up scar tissue beneath his finger proved exactly that but Hizashi thought they'd need to agree to disagree.
Shouta wasn't okay. Not really. He was healed. As recovered as he was likely ever going to get, all things considered, but Hizashi had it on good authority that he wasn't actually okay. Or maybe he was. Okay was basically just mediocre, wasn't it? Not good, not great, just okay? So maybe Shouta was that. Alive but definitely not back to normal. Not After.

"What's the occasion?" Yamada wants to know after a while and Hitoshi presses his lips together.
Trust Yamada to figure out that this is not for nothing. He really is too perceptive for his own good, but Hitoshi is not going to tell. Not yet.
He has plans, after all.
"Can't I just make breakfast?" he asks and he can practically feel Yamada's gaze burning in his back.
"You can. You just generally don't, and especially not at this time. And this seems planned, with how you had everything ready rather than a spur of the moment thing, so what's going on, kiddo?"
Hitoshi turns around to him, briefly forgoing his preparations and he levels Yamada with a look.
"I have a plan and you're going to let me stick to it," he simply says, not explaining anything else, because that part comes later and to his credit, Yamada immediately nods.

“Oh…” He yawns, settling more into the pillows while angling his body so that Shouta can access him fully. “I guess we can have sex, but I can't promise I'll be able to do much.”
“That sounds nice,” Shouta says, his fingers beginning to work at the buttons on Hizashi's shirt, “but that's not quite what I mean.”
Hizashi hums in confusion. “Then why are you getting my shirt off?”
“Because,” Shouta gets the last button undone and pushes the fabric to the side, “I'm hungry.”

Hizashi's done breastfeeding their daughter for the night, but there's someone else that's looking for some milk.
