“Because I’m her best friend and you’re her brother?”

Summary
What if Dean wasn't so easy to cure? What if, when he became a demon, he were allowed to act independent of Crowley's intentions for him? Dean's tired of howling at the moon, and something in him misses Castiel. What will he do when he is confronted with a Castiel that can't beat him and a brother with a broken arm? That's easy: he'll fix them, so he can break them on his own terms. Love hangs in the tenuous balance between Dean and Castiel, but the bridge is burning from both ends and Castiel's time is running out.

Summary
When Dean presented as an omega at 12 yrs old, it was the worst day of his life. Having been immediately stripped of his personal autonomy, rights, and freedom due to the misogynistic laws of his alpha-centric society, he avoided taking a mate for the next 14 yrs in an attempt to retain whatever semblance of control and remaining dregs of independence (aka, not being forced to obey an alpha husband) he had left... Now at age 27, Dean's health has been in rapid decline. Having spent every unbearable heat for the past 14 yrs completely alone, his body has become weak, sickly, frail. Fearing for her son's wellbeing, Mary Winchester makes the bold decision to marry him off to one Castiel James Novak: a wealthy, alpha lawyer from a powerful, socialite family. Castiel is everything that Dean could ever want in a partner (handsome, charming, tall, good in bed, etc.), and everything he could never want in a partner (traditional, controlling, possessive, cocky, irritating, etc.). As a result, Dean *despises* Castiel. If his husband's annoying behavior weren't enough, Dean slowly comes to the realization that Castiel is sitting on a dark secret, and he makes it his life's mission to find out just what exactly the alpha's hiding.

Summary
At nineteen, Dean Winchester is making history. He's one of only five submissives to ever make it onto a D1 team, and the only submissive wrestler in the history of college sports. A lot of people hate him, but the joke's on them, because who can hate Dean Winchester more than himself?
See, he's not looking to make history. He just wants to wrestle. And forget about his designation, about the Mark branded into his skin that pegs him as a weak, pathetic bitch - or at least, that's how he sees it.
Dean does his best to ignore his designation. The only times he can't are when his body physically won't allow him. When his brain gets foggy and his skin begins to itch, he reluctantly goes to the only Dominant that he trusts to take care of him: his best friend and secret crush of six years, Castiel Novak. To keep his body from becoming too accustomed to being taken care of - and to keep himself from falling even more in love with Cas - Dean sets out three rules for himself and his friend when they scene.
No unnecessary touching. No endearments. No getting attached.
Too bad Cas is on a speedrun to see how quickly he can break all three.
