Tommy was born for the spotlight.
It was in his blood, his father was a well-known director throughout Hollywood. Great movies like The Chasing of Elwood Skillet, and inspirational documentaries over the tragic murder of James Canopy. All in his father’s creation, the man was cherished by the nation for his great deeds, Oscars and Academy Awards lined his walls.
And Tommy was following right in his footsteps, making his way to becoming Hollywood history. Known for his breathtaking acting at such a young age and long list of box office hits.
So when Tommy gets casted to work with his idol, the infamous Wilbur Craft, he’s ecstatic. He means, what could go wrong after all?

or; Tommy is a child actor who is cherished by the nation, perceived as a golden child to many and known for his great feats in acting he’s given throughout the years.
The Craft family on the other hand were like gods in Hollywood and Tommy was their biggest fan. So when he gets casted to work side by side with Wilbur Craft he’s off the walls, excited as can be.
Only if he, and the people knew exactly what was going on behind the scenes.

Summary
Tommy was tired.
It was almost idiotic how tired he was. All he did nowadays was sleep, touch shit, and sleep some more but it seemed like the overwhelming exhaustion never seemed to end.
All because of some stupid fucking curse.
It was meant to be a gift. He means, you'd think it was. The gift to will anything you touch into gold. Imagine that, the endless possibilities of it, the riches beyond compare, a one way ticket out of poverty.
Well, he’d hate to spoil the ending for ya’ folks, but it was bullshit.
All one big load of fucking bullshit.

or; The Antarctic Empire was thriving, having just overthrown a small, new, speck of a country that sat right on their borders. Who supposedly had a hefty amount of gold, which no one could find the source for, sitting in their territory, ready for the take.
Meanwhile, Tommy was lounging around in his new dungeon home, wondering why the guards haven't came in and given him his daily load of trinkets and wooden coins to turn into gold.
But when the Empire finally discovers the young avian who was truly behind all of the calamity, no one would be able to take them for their unrelenting grasp.

Summary
It was dark out now and Tommy should probably get back home, but he was bored so that was obviously not an option. He had to do something, see something, get his blood rushing.
A suspicious alleyway was right up ahead.
Perfect.
He walked right in and saw a crusty looking dumpster that was propped up against a brick wall, and Tommy took the liberty to hop up to sit on the closed lid, kicking and swinging his legs aimlessly under him.
He didn’t know what to expect, but his Tommy senses were tingling.
Then out of seemingly nowhere he finally heard it, a high pitched scream.

Summary
After a nation-wide scandal and the entire league of heroes swooping in for the ‘rescue’, the Syndicate was finally thrown away to where they belonged, a prison cell.
Everyone already knew they were going to escape, it was inevitable.
But he doesn't want to believe it, want to go back to that life, to a life of no self preservation, to a life of being someone's, instead of being himself, being Tommy.
He tries not to think about how their impending freedom means the loss of his.

or; The Syndicate is probably the most powerful crime institution in history, a group scaped with villainy who was recently captured in an ambush and whisked away to the fortified walls of Pandora's Vault, to hopefully never see the light of day again.Tommy is just the kid they left behind when they were sent away, the kid who they took a few years back, who was promised he was theirs, and was ripped away just like that.
The nation is on their toes, just waiting for the day they eventually escape. Tommy doesn't think he could dread it more.

(wander about and maybe you'll find your way home)
Four hundred years, wandering.
Breathtaking paths of streams and rocky creeks cross his vision as Tommy wanders about, straying from the flower-filled path that always seems to follow him as much as he could. The hanging willows and daffodils encompassing his vision in the crisp morning light every step he's taken.
The thrum of life is ever present under his skin, like the hum of crickets and grasshoppers calling for their future mate, the lush scenery surrounding him bringing the connections of nature that makes up his soul ever closer to his heart.
Only if the animals and nature that he passed by as he strolled about knew that he wasn't just simply wandering, that he was being chased.

or; Tommy and the rest of SBI each have the power of all four of the elements, wind, fire, water and nature, a family connected by the bonds of their powers tying them together.
Even though he's always yearned for a family, one fateful morning Tommy discovers the truth, deciding he wants nothing to do with them, casting them away.

No, that would be the person chained to the chair in the middle of the room, a power suppressor glowing on his wrist. He was faced away from the door, but Tommy could still make out the familiar curly brown hair that was matted to his head, traces of fresh cuts lining his arms, some still bloody, and villain suit that he’d helped the elder make.
Wilbur.
A prisoner; a traitor.
Techno hand gently grabbed his own as they stepped inside the dim room, not allowing either of them to linger any longer at the morbid sight. Phil inclined his head to the both of them as he stood outside to guard. There was no hope of Wilbur escaping, no reason for him to linger, but the two sons knew it was an excuse to look at his child one last time.

or, when Wilbur betrays the Syndicate, Techno and Phil send Tommy to try and find out the truth from the traitor himself. Wilbur has plans of his own

Summary
But Wilbur is a ball and chain in the middle of the sea, slowly but steadily dragging himself down to the ocean floor with Tommy unknowingly trapped inside his cuff. It’s unfair that Tommy has had to drown with Wilbur for so many years, desperately trying to swim both of them back to the surface. It’s fruitless, and Tommy wonders sometimes if it would be better to just cut the chain that binds them together. To let Wilbur sink on his own, while Tommy heads for air.
He could never do that though; as much as he wants to. He’ll let Wilbur sink them both, and Tommy will swim and thrash as the surface grows more and more distant. Hoping and wishing for a lifeboat. For someone to help them to shore, and to pull Tommy’s freezing body into their warm, loving arms and drape a towel over his wet shoulders.
He thinks Phil might be that person, Techno too. Tommy wants to let them be and he wishes for Wilbur to want that too.
OR: Wilbur and Tommy are brothers in the foster system. Wilbur is struggling with addiction, Tommy is always left to pick up the pieces. But now with Techno and Phil here, hopefully they’ll be able to help. (Only Wilbur does not want help.)

There’s an absent smile on Wilbur’s face, something behind his eyes. “Vampires of the same coven drink each other's blood. It’s not nutritional, it’s more like a kind of trust exercise.”
Tommy scrunches up his nose. “Ew.”
Wilbur chuckles. “Like I said, it probably sounds pretty bad to a human. But, if you trust someone, it’s a reminder of why you do, how much you do. Family, and all that.”
Tommy shakes his head. “I could never be a vampire.”
“Really?” Wilbur incredulously asks. The shocked look Tommy gives him in response brings out a chuckle. “No, no, I understand that, but you… That deters you? I mean, you trust me, don’t you?”
Tommy freezes. Something has changed, but Tommy doesn’t know what. Wilbur is serious, and… Tommy doesn’t know if he’s allowed to say no.
Something in Wilbur’s voice tells him to agree.

Summary
“Well aren’t you just a sweet thing,” A voice purrs, their tone melodic and sweet, practically dripping with honey.
Tommy shivers, curling in closer to the warmth around him, the voice wrapping around his mind, tugging him in more and more. His head pounds, and his body aches, his ears feel muffled, and his mind feels distant and far away. All he knows is the warmth around him, the gentle hand running through his hair, and the dull ache in the back of his head.
The pain continues on like a relentless itch, only momentarily soothed by the hand carding through his hair.
Or Tommy is an undercover spy who gets himself tangled up with Wilbur Soot, a dangerous man with people out against him.
