Hope/less

Summary:

Bakugou was six when he discovered the truth about the world.

Blood pooled on the hardwood floor of his parent's living room. Lifeless eyes of his mother and father staring back at him. Their last words to him "Run Katsuki!" lost to the sounds of his pounding, little heart. A villain stood before him, covered in their blood, laughing for all the world to hear, like it was a game to him. Like it was fun.

The truth of the world: hero's always arrived too late.

Notes:

To be honest, I haven't written in years. I recently bought myself a desktop so I could start again, but this is literally my first work in a very, very, long time. I'm not sure exactly were this story is going, or if I'm going to finish it even.

Disclaimer: I dont own Boku No Hero Academia or it's characters!

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Bakugou was six when he discovered the truth about the world.

Blood pooled on the hardwood floor of his parent's living room. Lifeless eyes of his mother and father staring back at him. Their last words to him "Run Katsuki" lost to the sounds of his pounding, little heart. A villian stood before him, covered in their blood, laughing for all the world to hear, like it was a game to him. Like it was fun.

The truth of the world: hero's always arrived too late.

Fourteen year old Bakugou looked up at the archway to UA and scoffed to himself. The teen shook all the thoughts from his head and marched forward, scowl firmly in place. He would show them real power. Fire crackled on his knuckles, explosive sparks caused by his excitement and entered the entrance exam area.

His eyes scanned the crowd, looking for any useful information on his 'peers' quirks. The first person he found his eyes drawn to sparked something within him. Green hair, ridiculously nervous face. "Deku," Bakugou growled as his mind captured the memory of an annoying boy who liked to follow him around. That was before his world fell apart. Before everything he knew changed. He shifted his gaze, choosing not to reminice.

When the entrance exam came down to fighting the mechas, he was beyond thrilled. He tore his way through them like they were paper, finally feeling the release he had been needing all day. Fire exploded around him, causing a brilliant chaos to ensue. The other teens gave him a wide berth. Who wouldn't with the way his laugh crackled like his fire, and the wild look he knew he had.

When the giant, pointless, mecha appeared, Bakugou itched to take it down. But he didn't to pass the exam, it was more important. Watching Deku take it down though? Worth the 30 seconds he had to pause to see what the kid had turned into. Maybe Bakugou could fight him too.

Waiting was the worst. He knew he passed, but waiting in his apartment wasn't ideal. The quiet always began to seep into his pours, suffocating him. He spent most of his time pacing back and forth in his living room, the bones itching to use his quirk. And when the results came in, they did nothing but anger him. Rescue points. What a joke. He still placed number one, of course, but it was the priniciple of the matter.

The first day of school, he sat at his desk and leaned back, feet crossed over the top. Everything he'd been working for since he was a child was coming together
.
"Take your feet off the desk," Bakugou smirked at the blue haired boy, "It's the first day of school and you are already disrespecting it!"

He smiled, nice a wide, showing all of his teeth. "You've got to be kiding me! You're about as fun as a stick in the mud! I can't wait to rip you apart." He couldn't help it, sometimes the violence just came out, umprompted from his mouth.

"You would treaten you're own classmate!? You sure you're in the right place?" The boy seemed genuienly concerned.

Bakugo frown and took his feet down. Luckily he was saved from having to answer by everyone turning to the opening door. Deku. The last time he had actually seen the kid, he had been six. It was a few days maybe before his parents were murdered. Deku was sad, saying he had been told he was Quirkless. But now? He didn't seem so quirkless to Bakugou.

The pop 'quiz' on the first day was just was Bakugou needed. it let him blow off some steam and watch his classmates as they used their quirks. The most promising was a boy with red and white hair, parted straight down the middle. He used an ice ability to slide during the dash, propelling himself forward. His time was almost the same as Bakugou's and the blonde growled.

Maybe he was staring too long, but the kid turned his way. Immediatly Bakugou took note of his piercing mistmatched eyes. Then, he was coming towards Bakugou suddenly, hips swaying with confidence. "Todoroki, Shouto." He spoke finally after taking a seat next to Bakugou, back against the wall.

Their knees touched and the red eyed boy could feel cold seep through his uniform. "Bakugou, Katsuki." Bakugou growled, unable to process what was happening. Todoroki was turned away from him, seeming to watch the next dash, but he turned suddenly, catching Bakugou staring again.

"Something wrong with my face?" He asked simply, blinking slowly.

It was then Bakugou noticed the scare marring half the boys features. It look like a type of burn, but he couldn't be sure. "Wasn't staring at that," He spoke bluntly. "Thinking about how much I'd enjoy kicking your ass." Excitement made his palms want to spark, but he held it in.

It pissed Bokugou off that the boy's face never changed from impassive. "I'm sure they would let us spare sometime, if you really think you can 'kick my ass'." With that, the strange teen stood and sauntered away, hips swaying in a way that made Bakugou a little too excited for his own liking.

The rest of the day he through of the cold. He didn't really get cold very often, one of the perks of his quirk. He could stil feel the cold on his knee, seeping into his thigh. He wondered, how would it feel in ofther places? He got home with a hard-on he knew he couldn't touch.

Bakugou threw his bag nex to the door and kicked off his shoes. As he walked into the apartment, a figure came into view, back to him. "Dabi, checking in already?" Bakugou growled, half annoyed, half expecting as much.

Dabi tilted his head back to look at him, a smirk on his lips. "There is a boy in your class." He then turned and stalked over to Bakugou, placing a hand on his shoulder. "His name is Todoroki, Shouto. I'd love to meet him."

Chapter Text

Often, Bakugou would think of that night. The rage he felt as he watched his parents die at the hands of a deformed moster. Six year old Bakugou stood, tears in his eyes and unleased his quirk. The blast was the largest Bakugou had ever made – un heard of for a six year old – and had destroyed his childhood home. The villian's charred body laying next Bakugou as he watched his parents be engulfed by his raging inferno. The hero's came shortly after that, but by then Bakugou was long gone.

Always late. Never there when the danger strikes, only showing up in the aftermath of destruction. That was the reality of a hero.

Bakugou stared at Todoroki today too. Took note of the way his hands glided over his paper as wrote, the way his face would change from impassive to interested as they talked about strategy. He knew his staring was obvious, but that was the plan. Always doing Dabi's dirty work.

After class, Bakugou was suprised to find himself jumped and dragged behind the bushes by his new target. “Need something, halfie?” Bakugou growled, half nervous, half anxious.

Cold lips met his, gently as first, probing, unsure. Whatever Bakugou had thought was going to happen, this was not it. Still, it wasn't at all unwelcomed. The only experience he had with kissing, though, was Dabi. Everything with Dabi was rough and angry, even the way he kissed. The blonde mirrored what the older man always did and dominated. He pushed Todoroki against a tree, fingers from one hand clenched Todoroki's shirt, the other clawing at Todoroki's hip. His tongue invaded Todoroki's mouth and commanded control, swallowing a gasp from his classmate. When he needed to breath, he pulled back to look at his handywork.

Todoroki's lips were swollen, bleeding at the bottom where Bakugou was too rough with his teeth. The boy had a dazed look on his face, eyes closed, head tilted back. His hands had somehow – Bakugou didn't remember when – taken ahold of his shirt and were clenching hard enough for his knuckles to turn white. This was much better than the indifferent look of before.

“Want to go to your place?” Todoroki's mismatched eyes looked at him then, so innocently. Yes, back to Bakugou's place, that's where they needed to go. Where Dabi was waiting to either torture the kid or recruit him, Bakugou was unsure of which. Could be both knowing the sadist bastard.

The blonde scoffed and stepped away from his classmate, heat pounding wildly in his chest. “I gotta go, halflie,” Was his only reply and the picked his bag up and held it over his shoulder.

By the time he got home, he was a wreck. Anxious and aroused, maybe itching to burn something or someone. He stood, salk still, outside his apartment door dreading – anticipating – what was to come. When he finally stepped inside he marched straight towards Dabi, who was scowling by the couch. Without saying a word, he dropped to his knees and began to unbutton the mans pants.

The older man was genuienly suprised, “Bakugou?” He gasped out softly, his brow furrowed, “You've never just . . .” His sentrance died as the blond took a half hard member into his mouth and sucked. “Fuck!” Dabi quickly caught on despite his shock and gripped Bakugou's hair hard and began to thrust into the boys mouth.

This wasn't what Bakugou wanted, but right now he just needed it. His own prick was hard and stiff in the confides of his pants, begging for him to touch it. His fingers fumbled with his button and with a gargled gasp he began to stroke him self rough and fast. Would Todoroki fuck his mouth like this, he wondered? Rough and unforgiving, vicious almost? Bakugou's throat burned and tears spilled down his cheeks in pain and rapture all mixed into one. His jaw began to ache as Dabi's thrust became even more extreme, reaching deep down the younger's throat.

It wasn't long before he was spilling his seed onto the carpet, ropes spewing forth and landing at his knees. He choked and gagged as Dabi held his head in place, dick all the way down his throat, then the man finally cam, not even giving Bakugou a chance to breathe. When he did finally pull away, the blonde started to cough, some unswallowed cum slippinng unto his chin. “Well, that was new,” Dabi's voice was hoarse. Funny, Bakugou figured his own voice was the one who should have sounded like that.

He stood and pulled up his pants, buttoning them hastedly. Shame coiled deep in his belly, but he push it down, “Todoroki is a little shit,” He then growled out, eyes on the floor, “Ain't no way I can convience him to come here.” Bakugou didn't know why he decided to lie, but he kept his eyes firmly panted on the floor willing Dabi to believe him. He was startled when the older man began to laugh, “The fucks wrong with you!?” He barked out, glaring at him.

Dabi shook his head and crossed his arms, “Its kinda cute. You're having trouble making friends, aren't you?” He teased. “Ok. Maybe I was eager and jumped the gun.” He looked away, rubbing a hand through his black locks, “You'll convience him, eventually.”

It had been Dabi who arrived first to Bakugou's home after the fire. A teenager then, Bakugou didn't know why he came, or if he had even wanted anyone to come. After killing the villian in revenge, six year old Bakugou had collapsed and waited for the fire to consume him too. To filled with grief and anger to even save himself. Dabi had shown up, looked down at him, and carried him away.

The man had been in his life ever since. Checking up on him in his foster homes – hidden of course – and mentoring him. He taught him how to use his flames and how to not be burned by his own fire. Bakugou knew Dabi hated hero's just as much as he did, so he never questioned the man's motives. The first time they had kissed, Bakugou was just thirteen.

Dabi had wanted him to go to UA, but Bakugou was against it. Even after told him his plan, the argued and yelled. Threw fire around at each other. Then, out of no where, Dabi had pushed him against the wall and stolen his first kiss. Hormonal, aroused, angry, Bakugou had withered in pleasure at the attention. Even when Dabi used too much teeth and made him bleed, even when the older man's hand closed painfully tight around his throat until he couldn't breath. However, when Dabi reached down and started to touch him through his pants, it was like Bakugou had woken up. Kind of as if the man had poured ice water over his body. Bakugou had panicked then, and made an explosion right in Dabi's face. Afterwards, he agreed to Dabi's plan, and to be a puppet for him, only because their hatred was the same.

Notes:

So my computer would not turn on the past two days! I felt horrible so as soon as I fixed it I wrote this. It was rushed, so let me know what you think!

Also, Katsuki maybe be a little bitch in this chapter, but I'm more trying to make him a bad good guy rather than just a bad guy. Like, he genuinely hates heros, but he wants to help people still, ya know? let me know if i screwed that up!

Chapter Text

Bakugou regretted everything. Not really, but kind of. His chest felt rough though, like he had done something wrong, and when he saw Todoroki walking behind him to class, he was temped to turn and run away from it all. Away from the society that couldn't even save one family from a low life robber. Away from Dabi whose kisses were too rough. Away from Todoroki and the hopeful look in his eyes. Bakugou sped up, cussing under his breath.

Todoroki caught up to him quickly, passing him and grabbing his hand as he did so. Bakugou needed to get this over with, needed to take the boy to Dabi and be done with it. The blonde allowed himself to be led to a bathroom, unable to stop his feet from following the engima before him. One there, green eyed boy turned and kissed him just the same as before. Probing and gentle, afraid and unsure.

Bakugou took it slow. He backed Todoroki up to the wall opposite the door. His tongue licked it's way into Shouto's mouth slowly, stroking the other boy's tongue when he found it. One hand grasped gently at Todoroki's chin, tilting his head back ever so slightly while the other stroked lazy circles on the boys hip. Bakugou could feel Shouto shudder against him, felt the boy's fist clench in his shirt as he tried to put more force into the kiss; however, Bakugou kept it slow and gentle. He had never kissed like this before, and he found he didn't want it to end any time soon.

But reality hit like a ton of bricks when the door to the restroom swung open and Kirishima walked in. Bakugou turned violently towards the sound, panting as he stared at the startled boy.

“Wow, sorry guys, my bad!” The red head smiled as he snickered, his hands up in defense.

This wasn't good. This was very bad. No one could know about Todoroki and him, or it could get back to Dabi. Then Dabi would know he had lied. “What fucking games you playing shitty hair!?” Bakugou growled as he stalked towards the boy. His palms crackled as his adrenaline took over. “You even think of opening your damn mouth and I'll roast you, mother fucker!” He took hold of the red -head shirt, pulling the scared boy to him and putting a near exploding palm in his face.

“Katsuki-kun! Please stop! It's alright,” Bakugou whipped around as Todoroki pull on his shirt and shoved the other boy hard enough to knock him down, “And you, what the fuck was this!? A set up? I don't know what kind of games you are playing halfie, but I ain't fucking interested. Stay the fuck away from me, or I'll kill you,” He snarled the last part to emphasize his point before storming out of the room.

By the time he made it to class, he felt like he was going to explode. He yelled at everyone who dared talk to him, and he glared red daggers at the teacher when he looked his way to answer a question. Dabi's plan was stupid. He didn't want to get close to these people. He hated them, all of them. Especially the kids in class who wanted 'profit' for their deeds. He couldn't just sit there and pretend everything was ok.

He dipped out during lunch and wandered the halls, glare never moving from the space in front of his feet. Dabi's plan had been simple enough when first explained to him. Bakugou was supposed to infiltrate the school and befriend the staff and his classmates. He would then leak information back to Dabi pertaining to the school and events. What Dabi did with the information, he never knew. Bakugou could only guess that it was all being used for taking down UA and the hero society. But what after that? It wasn't that Bakugou wanted the world to rot like Dabi did, he just wanted to arrogant hero's who stood for nothing to topple down.

He could tell Dabi was in his head, influencing him. Maybe that was why he had even kissed him the first time. He could tell that Bakugou had thought about it more than once and had manipulated him with it, but the blonde felt powerless to stop him. He owed literally his life to the older man.

It was just his luck that Bakugou bumped into Todoroki when the school defense systems started to go off. He was about to say something – an insult maybe – when Todoroki pulled him into an empty classroom. “Isn't this just convenient, Icyhot!” He barked out when he got his composure back.

This time, Todoroki did not move towards him. Instead, he moved to the windows to peer outside. “If the school was under attack, I figured we should hid.” He paused and looked back to Bakugou. “But it seems it's just the press.”

Bakugou moved to look out the windows at the mob gathered outside. The gate to UA was destroyed and they had flooded in. Heat grew up his neck as he realized it was more likely that Dabi had broke the wall and used the press as a cover. “Get away from the windows,” Katsuki growled as he yanked Todoroki back. “You really think they broke that gate? UA's defense isn't that weak.” Shouto paused, a hand on his chin as he thought. There was a noise from the hall and Bakugou jumped at him, pinning him down. “Shh, don't speak,” The blonde covered Todoroki's mouth with his hand and looked at the door leading to the hallway. His heart was pounding in his ears, but he could still hear the rushed footsteps of someone coming closer and closer. Whoever it was passed right by the room, making Bakugou sigh. Maybe it wasn't Dabi afterall; UA did have many enemeies.

“Katsuki are you messing with me?” Todoroki's voice startled the blonde. “Do you like me, or not?”

Bakugou looked down at him, really looked at him. Blood red hair mixed with snow white lockes as he laid on the floor. His mixmatch eyes peered up at Katsuki with such hope and confusion it made Bakugou's heart beat harder than it had in a very long time. “Fuck you, Halfie. I told ya I ain't interested. Now stop bugging me.”

He hated himself as he stood and walked away, not bothering to look back.

He hated himself as Dabi fucked his mouth again that afternoon, after a failed day.

Most of all, he hated himself as he cried himself to sleep, dreaming of fire and death.

Notes:

Let me know if I should do Todoroki's point of view! I've been dabbling with the idea for a few days now.

Chapter Text

If Todoroki knew one thing, it was that he loved to piss his father off. The man was more a brute than a hero, always pushing people around, declaring his status. Status was the most important thing to Enji. That's why when Shouto's mother had burned his face, there was no press. No police. Just her being quietly tucked away in the mental house while Todoroki was left to pick up the pieces of his own heart. So he loved to piss his father off.

“I kissed a boy, twice.” Shouto declared at breakfast that morning, a smug smirk on his face.

His sister gasped, and his father scowled, fists clenched. “What did you just say?” He growled, a glare in his eyes that could kill.

Shouto's smirk grew as he met his father's eyes. “I. Kissed. A. Boy. Twice.” His eyebrows wiggled, and he took a drink from his water, then added, “And it was great.”

“Shouto!” Fuyumi exclaimed, “Please,”

Todoroki glared at her. “Well it was!”

Enji stood and slammed his hands on the table. “Enough! I've endured this defiant phase long enough! If you ever - ”

Shouto stood and shrugged his bag over his shoulder. “I'm gonna be late. Gotta go!” He exclaimed before leaving his father with a gaping mouth.

All in all, breakfast was a roaring success. Now if only Bakugou wouldn't act like the closet was the best place ever to live. Todoroki couldn't figure him out. He knew Katsuki enjoyed their time together, but every time the dude just blew up at him. Shouto snorted at the thought. Of course, Katsuki blew up over everything. Yesterday, Momo bumped his elbow on his desk and he freaked out, threatening to set her on fire. Of course by now they were all used to it and rolled their eyes.

Todoroki knew he could pick someone else to make-out with to upset Enji, problem was, making out with Bakugou was amazing. The boy knew how to kiss and quite frankly, he wasn't a bad choice in the 'pick a handsome boy and seduce him somehow to piss off Endeavor' department. And it didn't seem to matter to Bakugou that Todoroki himself had no experience in the kissing department.

Todoroki looked up and noticed the blonde hair boy walking in front of him. He wondered if the boy was going to ignore him again today. It was hard to seduce someone when they ignored you all day. Shouto had thought he was going to get punched the first time they kissed – really, he had no idea how it was going to go. Bakugou could have been a raging homophobe for all Todoroki knew.

Todoroki arrived in class and took his seat, the day dragging on slowly at first. They were doing a specialized rescue training today at on off-site facility, with a rescue hero named 13. He was particularly excited for the whole thing.

The bus ride was pretty uneventful, aside from Bakugou yelling at everybody and threatening to kick their ass. Shouto has gazed out the window smiling the whole time. It was pretty endearing to see everyone just laugh it off, it was just Katsuki's personality and they all knew it. When they arrived, everyone was excited to meet 13 and see the enormous facility. They were discussing the use of their powers before the training started, everyone getting more and more excited, when suddenly a black void opened up in one of the disaster areas and people began to pour out.

Shouto watched with narrowed eyes. Aizawa declaired it an attack, saying they were villians. No alarms sounded. It wasn't just an attack, it was an attempt at All Might, Todoroki soon realized, though All Might was not there. The villians kept coming out of the void until an army was before them. Then, Aizawa took off to fight, alone. Truth be told, he was actually really good. Then again, the villians didn't seem to be pro. More like gutter rats.

Shouto sturned to escape with everyone else, his eyes searching for Bakugou. Before he could spot the boy, the exit was blacked off as a being made of nothing but black void appeared before them. Of course a villain would take the time to monologue. Someone touched Todoroki's hand and he turned to see Bakugou glaring at the villian.

“Wanna do something reckless?” The blonde growled out in a hushed breath.

Reckless with Bakugou? “Yes,” Todoroki smirked. It was exactly what he wanted to do to piss his father off. Something dangerous and reckless and not allowed. “What are you thinking?”

Bakugou turned his red eyes to Todoroki and smirked, follow me,” He said before jumping out in front of 13. Shouto did so, without hesitation and the two of them attacked together, fire and ice springing forth from their quirks. Todoroki went to immobilize the villain while Katsuki attacked with a charged explosion. Everyone screamed as smoke and dust and shards of ice flew all around, creating confusion.

“Did ya get him!?” Bakugou growled next to Todoroki in a fighting stance.

Shouto shook his head, “I couldn't see through your explosion.”

There was laugher, then darkness, “I'll scater you across this facility, where our men await!” The villian cried before a portal sucked them away.

It took a moment for Shouto to shake his head and clear the fogginess the teleportation had caused. Him and Bakugou were on a boat in the middle of a lake not far from Aizawa and his fight. The boy stood to assess the situation, un-suprised when he saw they were surrounded.

“God dammit!” Katsuki growled next to him. He shot explosions out at the people in the water, but it was no use. Katsuki had revealed his Quirk to the villain and so the villain had sent them somewhere Explosion would be useless. “Come up here mother fuckers! I'll kill you dammit!”

“Calm down, Bakugou. We need to come up with a plan. “ But it was like the other boy didn't hear him. To consumed by rage to listen to reason. Todoroki watched as the boy took to the air, still firing explosions both as attacks and to keep himself aloft. Panic gripped at Shouto's chest but he pushed the feeling down as he saw Bakugou get him by a large water based attack, sending him falling into the sea below.

Enough, Shouto had enough. He jumped off the boat and, before he even touched the water, called forth his Quirk. Everything froze. His feet landed with a thud and he look around himself. Every villain was froze, shocked by the power of his right side. Shouto frowned and walked through the horde of immobile villains. He went straight to Bakugou, who looked as if he was fuming, and melted the ice that was holding him. “I'm sorry. I was worried about you,” Todoroki said quietly.

Katsuki didn't reply; he just kept his head down as they walked to the rocky shore. The silence was unnerving honestly; Todoroki couldn't tell if he was extra pissed, or embarrassed, or upset. Shouto needed to rest though after using his quirk to such a degree and sat in a secluded area with his back against a rock. They would be safe here for a moment.

Bakugou approached him and dropped to a kneel before him., Shouto was going to ask if he was alright when the blonde suddenly kissed him. It was just the right amount of chaste and Bakugou's lips tasted like cinnamon. Todoroki didn't protest as the blonde pulled away slightly. He didn't protest when fingers found the bottom for his pants.

He defiantly didn't protest – or release an EXTREMELY embarrassing groan – when Bakugou's cinnamon lips were wrapped around his dick. Bakugou was bobbing up and down slowly, moaning around his cock, and Todoroki was just trying to enjoy the ride, to not blow his load. It was the best feeling he had ever experienced, way better then jerking it himself. And looking down at the angry, aggressive, down right violent boy moaning like a whore while sucking his dick was almost too much for him.

Shouto was proud he lasted more than a minute. But when Bakugou went all the way down, despite Torodoki declairing he was about to cum, it was too much. He released his load straight down the boy's throat. He was still panting as Bakugou stood, tucking his own dick away; he hadn't realized Baukgou had even taken it out.
“Come on, we have to catch up with everybody.” Bakugou didn't look at him, but it was ok. There was a blush on his cheecks that made Todoroki smile.

“Alright,” He stood too and squeezed Bakugou's should gently. Let's go.”

Chapter Text

Bakugou hated everything and everyone. Usually. People were piece’s of shit that masqueraded around pretending they were better than everyone else with no regard for anything real. But Todoroki seemed nice. There was a certain pain in his eyes, and a longing there too that Bakugou knew all too well. Katsuki didn’t know why, but for some reason he felt a need to protect the other boy.

Attacking all the villain’s at once had been, admittedly, foolish. Bakugou’s quirk didn’t fair so hot against water users, and they did not give him the chance to get out of their reach. Honestly, when he did finally hit the water and was surrounded, he was a little worried. His eyes were closed - thinking of a way out - when he felt the chill rush through his body. Then everything was frozen in place, constricting him, caressing him. Though he could not move a muscle he felt a certain sense of security come over him. Todoroki was strong, Todoroki could protect himself. When Katsuki finally did open his eyes, there before him was the other boy, looking apologetic.

“I’m sorry. I was worried about you,” Sorry he interrupted the fight, or sorry he froze Bakugou too? The blonde wasn’t sure. As the two walked across the ice, he couldn’t get Todoroki’s words out his his mind. Someone who was worried about him seemed unreal, unobtainable even. Dabi didn’t really care for him, Bakugou knew. The other fire wielder had his own plans, his own agenda and Bakugou was just his tool. But Shouto was different, he was good. That’s why Katsuki kneeled before him. Because Shouto was everything Bakugou wasn’t, everything he didn’t deserve.

When it was done, Bakugou was crying. He knew he was blushing too and tried to not look at his - lover? - friend. “Come on, we have to catch up with everybody,” He stuffed his shaking hands in his pockets and started walking away. Before he could take two steps, Todoroki’s hand found his shoulder comfortingly.

“Alright, let’s go.”

Katsuki growled and shrugged off the hand, leading the way. They found Karishima not far from where they were, fighting by himself. He seemed happy enough to have some help when he spotted them, and the tree of them easily dispatched the villains in the ruined area. By the time they were done with their fun, All-Might had arrived to save the day. They weren’t too far from the action, so they decided to sneak a peek and watch the Symbol of Peace fight. Only, when they got there, it didn’t look so well. All-Might appeared to be trapped in a grapple with a very large bird-like creature. Bakugou thought it all looked dramatic. All-Might was just playing it up maybe, getting the tension to rise. It pissed him off.

Todoroki, it seemed, had different thoughts on the matter. The boy watched and calculated, before speaking to his two friends, “He needs our help. They wouldn’t risk attacking him here of all places if they didn’t have a real plan. We have to get that thing away from him.”

Katsuki scoffed but nodded. He was always ready for a fight. Karishima seemed fired up as well. The three arrived just in time for Bakugou to save the stupid Deku from the Decay quirk and Todoroki moved quickly to rescue All-Might from what seemed to be his impending demise.

“We heard you think you can beat All-Might,” Shouto looked at Karishima to his right and Bakugou to his left, giving them each a nod, “We just want to let you know, we won’t let that happen.

Shouto was nervous to hear what his father had to say. Angry Endeavour could get quite violent, but Todoroki was sure he would prefer that over doing anything to make his father proud. He was waiting with the other students when Endeavour finally made his way over. He looked happy, and it greatly displeased Shouto, enough so to make him scowl.

The Flame Hero nodded over to a secluded tree and waited until they were a distance away from the other students to speak, “All-Might sought me out when I arrived,” The look on his face was like a kitten who had been given milk, “He said you saved him from certain defeat. All-Might of all people needed you to save him!”

Todoroki rolled his eyes and began to walk away, “Did you forget that it’s a hero’s job to save people? All that fame has gone to your head.” He spat out, not bothering to look back. He spotted blonde hair, and made he was towards the other teen. “You leaving yet?”

Bakugou looked Todoroki up and down, then glared over the boys shoulder at his father, “I heard your dad’s a dick.”

Mismatched eyes blinked once, then twice, before the boy broke out in genuine laughter. “Wanna help me piss him off?” He held out his hand and held his breath.

Bakugou didn’t miss a beat, “Why the fuck not. Come on icy-hot. Let’s go.” His hand felt rough and callused and hot in Todoroki’s right hand. He allowed Bakugou to lead him away from U.S.J, the fading sounds of sirens ringing in his ears. Once they were far enough away, the blonde released his and and shoved his own in his pockets.

Todoroki fiddled with his fingers as they walked. “Still think you could kick my ass?” He suddenly asked after a long silence. Both boys looked at each other then laughed in unison before Todoroki smiled and spoke, “I’ll admit, I had fun battling along side you today. It’s was good to know you had my back.”

Bakugou stopped walking then. Shouto stood by him, letting the adrenaline fade from his body. They stood there in silence, staring at the sun setting over the hills, for a long time. Todoroki didn’t know what had come over Bakugou today, but he was enjoying it. “My parents are dead.”

Shouto sputtered and turned to Bakugou. The other boy wasn’t looking at him though, he seemed to be deep in thought. Shouto knew he had to proceed delicately, “Do…you…wanna talk about it?”

The blonde shook his head, “No, but. I thought you should know. I don’t know, ugh!” The angry look was back on his face again. “I like you,” Sharp eyes turned towards Todoroki, “I don’t want to like you though, got it? I just do.”

Should he be flattered or angry? Shouto wasn’t sure. But it sounded like Bakugou wasn’t either. “I kissed you to piss off my dad.” If they were confessing, he might as well get that off his chest. Bakugou didn’t say anything for a moment, then he began to laugh. It was more like a villain chuckle than a laugh, and if it had been anyone else but Katsuki, Shouto might have been scared. Instead, he laughed too.

Once they were done, Bakugou turned fully towards him, and cupped his cheek. “I have to go,” His voice was gentle, unusually so, “If you don’t seem me again for awhile, just know. . . I mean it. About liking you that is. I really do.”
Confusion washed over Shouto, “Why wouldn’t we be able to see each” Before he could finish, Katsuki silenced him with a hot blooded kiss, taking his breath away.

Bakugou was ready to fight. Fuck Dabi, fuck All-Might, fuck hero’s and villain’s alike. All he knew was that he was tired of being like those thugs at USJ, a pawn in someone else’s game. He opened the door to his apartment, planning on a rush attack. No way could he beat Dabi in a fight if he didn’t use the element of surprise. His plan was to quickly incapacitate the villain, then declare himself free of the older man’s hold. He took a breath, then charged fist first, fire cackling at his finger tips. Only, Dabi wasn’t there. Dabi was always there. He was supposed to be here, to pester him, encourage him, ask annoyingly intimate questions about Shouto.

Bakugou couldn’t settle down. He waited awake all night waiting for the flame user to show, but he didn’t appear. Neither did he appear the whole next day. School had been canceled due to the events at USJ and Bakugou paced back and forth watching the press conference. It couldn’t have been a coincidence what happened and Dabi’s disappearance. And if anyone found out that Bakugou was in league with Dabi? It could be disastrous.

Bakugou didn’t sleep that night either. The next day, he was an angry ball of nervous, yelling at anyone of his classmates who came too close. The announcement of the spots festival helped. Beating someone’s face in always seemed to make Bakugou feel better.

At lunch, he stole kisses from Todoroki in the bathroom. He held the boy like porcelain, afraid of what was to come when everything finally came out. When they parted, Bakugou’s breath was frozen, and Shouto looked overwhelmed. The blonde laughed when he felt ice start to crawl up his fingers that were holding Shouto’s face. “Do I make you loose control, icy-hot?”

The ice user gulped a lung-full of air, “It just seeps out sometimes. I’m sorry.”

Bakugou shook his head, and buried his face in Todoroki’s neck, “I don’t get to feel the cold much. I kinda like it.”

The tender moment ended too quickly. By the time they were back in class, Bakugou was cold all over, in the best kind of way. He was calm, and numb, and everyone kept staring, but he couldn’t keep the smirk off his face. Of course the anxiety returned on his way back home. Two days without hearing a single word from Dabi. It was almost surreal.

Everything good ends though. Dabi was inside his apartment when he opened the door, worry etched on his face. Not actually expecting it, Bakugou wasn’t prepared. He could try to launch an attack, but no, it wasn’t the right move. He didn’t want to die afterall and he was certain Dabi wouldn’t take being attacked lightly.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t here after the attack,” Dabi’s voice was stoic, calm. Bakugou shut the door and stepped forward, scanning the room, looking for a way out. “Are you ok?”

The blonde shrugged, “You have something to do with that, then? Could have given me a heads up.”

Dabi seemed taken aback, “If I had anything to do with it, you would have been used.” Of course that was his answer. Of course Dabi would use him. Bakugou had to keep his quirk in check as he rage grew. “I learned about the attack moments before. Didn’t want to come here in case the pros escorted you home. Did they?”

Bakugou had to think. “No, I came home alone.” He needed to make a stand. “I’m done, Dabi.”

Tension rose in the air, Katsuki couldn’t feel it choking him. It took Dabi a long time to respond, “You’re nervous,” He stated, taking a step forward, “Just calm down and think about your words carefully Katsuki - ”

“Don’t you fucking call me that!” Shit, his temper always came out. But he didn’t regret saying it at all.

Dabi took another step towards him, and growled, “I’ll call you whatever I want, Katsuki,” He growled. Suddenly he was there, in Bakugou’s face. He shoved the teen against the wall and pinned him there. “I’m the one who pulled you from the fire that day, Katsuki.”

“I’m sorry,” He mumbled, shaking. Dabi could be vicious when provoked. “I’m just pissed off. If I had known what was happening, maybe we could have actually beaten All-Might.” Dabi didn’t need to know that Bakugou had helped save All-Might. His bluff could work. If not, his apartment was about to go up in flames, one way or another.

A smirk covered Dabi’s face and Bakugou started to relax. Then Dabi was kissing him, all teeth and tongue and anger. Katsuki whimpered and tried to get away, but Dabi wouldn’t let him turn his head. Once the older man seemed satisfied, he released him and began to walk away.

“Don’t think I’ve forgotten you still haven’t brought me my prize. I want Shouto.” He spoke out cryptically before leaving Bakugou to cry on his living room floor.

Chapter Text

Shouto knew he should have been prepared for Katsuki to show his violent side again, but he never expected it to be when he was trash talking Izuku. Todoroki didn’t understand what he had done wrong until he realized that he had hurt the blonde’s pride more than anything. So, when the race was near it’s end and Bakugou had finally caught up to him, Shouto should have expected the shot to the face. He had his hands completely full of his asshole kind of lover so he didn’t even notice Izuku until it was too late.

Second place surely would piss his father off, but the problem with that was it pissed him off too. He would have won first if it hadn’t been for Katsuki. He chose to glare at the blonde from across the field and was delighted it was returned with Bakugou sticking his tongue out on him then storming away. He could be cute sometimes, Todoroki supposed.

By the end of the Calvary battle, Bakugou was glaring and yelling curse words at him. He tried to brush it off as normal Bakugou aggressive behavior, but he can’t help but feel that something is off with the blonde. During the break, Todoroki sought out the other teen and the two of them found a secluded place to talk.

Bakugou was first, “I can kick your ass, halfie. Don’t fucking underestimate me.” He growled out, shoving Todoroki into the wall. Shouto thought he was about to be kissed, but something seemed to spook the ever-in-the-closet Katsuki. The blonde stepped back and ran a hand through his hair. “If, when, we fight, I’m gonna win,”

Shouto shrugged, “If you thin you can. I think you’ll eat those words.” He responded playfully. They returned in time for the lots to be drawn. Shouto sighed when he realized he wasn’t fighting Bakugou right off the bat. While he was sure he could beat the explosion user, he wasn’t sure just how the blonde would react when that happens.

Of course his father pissed him off just before his first fight. He doesn’t normally let anger rule him, but he just couldn’t help it. Everything just came out of him, all his frustration, and before he knew it he had frozen not only his opponent, but also half the arena. Of course he apologized as he defrosted his classmate, ashamed of what happened. And the icing on the cake was having to use his bastard father’s powers to fix what he did.

He secluded himself during the rest of the fights, not wanting too see his classmates reactions to his use of force. When he heard that Bakugou had beaten Uraraka, he wasn’t at all surprised. Katsuki was terrifyingly powerful even when he wasn’t going all out and Uraraka was just so nice.

When it was time to battle Izuku, Shouto lost his cool once again. Izuku was taking it so far, breaking his bones to try to defeat him. He kept babbling on about using all of his strength to do whatever he could to be a hero. The idea enraged Shouto. He never wanted this life. He never wanted Endeavor as his father, or to be beaten to a pulp nearly every day of his life for his father’s training. His mother always told him to be true to himself. But even she faltered under the weight that Endeavor had placed on them.

It was then that Shouto looked to Bakugou in the stands. He was also born of fire, even though it was an explosive kind. He did things with his fire, used it in ways that even Shouto’s father could never dream of. The mix-matched teen smirked. He understood what being true to himself meant now. He would do everything in his power to surpass his father, to take this power that was forced upon him, and use it as his will demanded.

Of course it was easy to defeat Izuku after this realization. The fight ended up being stopped by the moderators, but the final accidental explosion had pushed the green haired boy far out of the ring anyway. After all the battle were done and the finals were about to start, of course it came down to Shouto and Bakugou. Todoroki was in his waiting room, mulling over the fight to come, when Bakugou bust through the door.

“Oi, Icy-hot!” Always loud and brash, Katsuki stormed over to him and picked him up by the collar of his shirt, “You better fight me at your best, asshole! You fought Deku with your fire, don’t hold back on me, got it?”

Todoroki turn his eyes towards the floor, “It’s complicated.” He spoke softly, trying not to aggravate the blonde further, “I don’t like to use it. It feels wrong.”

The blonde grip didn’t waver. Instead, he pulled Shouto close and crashed a kiss to his lips, “What could possibly feel wrong about it?” He growled into Shouto’s lips, “Fight me Shouto, I need to see how strong you are.”

Todoroki gulped and nodded briefly. “I’ll try.”

He failed. He just couldn’t imagine using the flames that had caused his family so much suffering against Bakugou. After the fight, when he was being cussed at and threatened by his lover, he knew he was wrong to not go all out. But he just couldn’t stand the thought of hurting the other boy like that.

Todoroki was cornered by his father after the festivals end. He appeared out of no where when Shouto was alone and slammed the teen hard against a cement wall. “You lost on purpose!” Endeavor growled, face inches apart from Shouto’s, “You are sleeping with that boy, aren’t you?”

Shouto shrugged as good as he could in Endeavor’s hold, “Not yet, but maybe soon.” He muttered, smirking at the look on his father’s face. Like Endeavor actually thought he would deny the accusation.

The Flame ‘hero’ slammed his son into the wall again, “I’m done with this defiance of yours!” He raised his fist to strike Shouto, when suddenly Bakugou appeared out of no where, fist in Endeavors face, knocking the hero to the side and making him release his grip on Todoroki. “Why you little - ”

“Endeavor Attacks Teen Who Beat His Son at Sports Festival. Sound like a great fucking headline to me!” Bakugou barked suddenly, fist raised, “Well come on, old man. Fight someone who will fight back for once.”

Todoroki was stunned into silence when his father turned around and walked away without another word, not even looking back at the two of them. He looked at Bakugou, “Thank you, Katsu-” Lips were on his, silencing him.

“Don’t fucking thank me for that shit,” Bakugou responded when they parted, “Next time, you stand up to him. You could kick his ass in a heartbeat.”

Todoroki looked to the ground, ashamed. Of course he could. His father’s quirk didn’t fair well against his his abilities. Still, he just couldn’t. “Could I stay the night at your place?” He asked quietly, staring at the ground.

There was a pregnant pause, then Katsuki spoke, “No, my place is no good.” He then reached out and grabbed Shouto’s right hand, “Can we get a hotel room instead? We just can’t go to my place.”

Todoroki gulped, but nodded, “Lead the way,” He tried to sound confident, but inside he was nervous. A night with Katsuki alone in a hotel? Wet dream come true.

Chapter Text

Katsuki was fucked and he knew it. He hadn’t even known Todoroki for that long, but so much had changed. Or maybe had never really wanted to join Dabi in the first place, he was just hurt because he felt that society had failed him. Either way, as he sat in the corner of the room and watched the morning sun touch Shouto’s face, Katsuki knew he was fucked. He didn’t stay for Shouto to awaken, choosing instead to head to the quiet solitude of his own home.

He felt lucky when he opened the door and his living room was empty. It gave him time to sit and revel in his self-loathing. Absently, he turned on the TV, hoping the noise would help the ringing in his ears. If only he could figure out what was going on in his own head.

“I’m his brother, you know.”

Katsuki yelped and jumped from his spot on the couch, whirling around to face Dabi. “Shit, you gave me a heart attack.” Confused, he then asked, “What the hell are you talking about? Who’s brother?” Could it be that Dabi was related to the silver haired man who thought he could kill All-Might?

Dabi scoffed and sat on the couch. He seemed docile enough, “Todoroki, Touya is my real name, Katsuki. Shouto is my brother.”

Bakugou’s world spun and crashed. He sat down on the couch next to Dabi in disbelief, his eyes wide. If they were brothers, then everything made since. That was why Dabi wanted Bakugou to bring him home. Still, it didn’t mean Dabi’s intentions were pure by any means. “I didn’t know you had family,” Katsuki said while trying to keep his voice light. “Is it gonna be a happy reunion if I bring him here?”

Dabi frowned, then suddenly he was on top of Bakugou, pinning the smaller man to the couch. “If you bring him? My dear Katsuki, do you now where I was yesterday?”

Bakugou froze in his struggles and closed his eyes. “The U.A. Sports festival?”

“Correct! And do you know what I saw?”

Fire. Everywhere. Bakugou exploded, quiet literally. He was still struggling under Dabi’s hold, but was able to use the force of his explosions to knock them off the couch. The older man kept the frown on his face and drew back his fist, punching Bakugou in the face hard enough to make the blond spit blood.

“Now, now, you need to calm down.” Dabi looked up, distracted, when the fire alarms in the apartment started to sound.

It was just the distraction that Bakugou needed and he was finally able to get himself free of Dabi’s grip. “Die, die, die, fucker!!!” He yelled, holding a palm to Dabi’s face and releasing a massive explosion. He didn’t waste time to see if the man was hurt or not, instead he rolled over and shot off like a rocket towards the front door. Once he opened it and crossed the threshold, he took off, not daring to look back. Only when he was satisfied that he wasn’t being followed did he slow in his run. Suddenly he fell to his knees, panting. “FUCK!!!” He screamed into the ground as he pounded his fist against the sidewalk. In the distance he could hear sirens approaching, which he was sure was the only reason Dabi backed off. Today was pissing him off for sure. He knew this would happen, he just didn’t know it would be so soon. Everything was starting to come to a head and he found himself scrambling to think of a story to tell the approaching hero’s and officers; it wasn’t like he could just leave, it was his apartment after all. Question had to be asked and he had to answer them.

It took all of Bakugou’s strength to stand up and walk back to his burning building. Most of the first floor was now in flames; the fire was spreading too quick. People were on the streets in their pajamas talking about what was happening.

“Did you hear that explosion?”

“Was is a bomb?”

“Did you see those blue flames?”

“When will the hero’s be here!? There’s still people inside!”

Katsuki’s heart was pounding in his ear as he looked at the building. This was his fault, people were getting hurt because of his reckless attempt, and now he stood frozen in spot. Just when his feet and brain made the connection and he was about to run into the flaming building is when the hero’s arrived. The leap into action, taking control of the scene and moving to put out the fire as quickly as possible. Several of the men and women even went into the building to rescue anyone who was trapped.

“Young Katsuki, is that you?” All-Might’s rang out from behind him, but Bakugou was too afraid turn and face the man. “Are you ok, young man?”

Slowly, Bakugou turned swollen tear filled eyes to face the hero, “It’s my fault All-Might,” He whispered, “I didn’t mean to.”
The look on the hero’s face darkened, but he placed a hand on Bakugou’s shoulder. “I’m sure you didn’t. Please, come with me so we can get this matter settled. The pro’s have it here.”

Todoroki woke up cold and alone. He sat up and glanced around the room, calling out, “Katsuki?” But he got no response. He should have known, afterall Bakugou seemed to be in the closet. Still, Shouto had hoped the other boy would have at least stayed until morning before leaving.

Shouto sighed and got out of bed. He didn’t both to shower, instead he just got dressed and headed out the door; he didn’t want to be in the room any longer than necessary. There would be no school for the next couple of days, so he wondered where it was he should go. He definitely didn’t wish to go home just yet, so instead he headed to get something to eat.
As he was passing a shop, he stopped and saw on the news that there was a fire not far from where he was. It seemed like the pro’s were already at the building, saving people and putting out the flames. Shouto started to turn his eyes away when the camera man moves and suddenly Katsuki comes into view. He is standing outside the building and All-Might is with them. He looks like he’s crying, but then the camera completely focuses on All-Might and Bakugou’s gone from the picture.

Shouto took off, using his ice to propel himself up and into the sky. Not far from his spot he could see smoking rising and headed that direction. He crossed over the tops of three buildings before coming to land at the scene. The fire was almost out now thanks to the fire department and hero’s efforts. He glanced around and saw the blonde haired boy sitting in the back of an ambulance.

“I said I’m fine dammit!”

Shouto smiled as he heard Bakugou scream at the EMT who was trying to take his vitals. “Katsuki!” The boy called out, running up to his friend. “I saw the news, are you o?”

Bakugou had the decency to blush at being caught after he fled the hotel. He snorted and looked to the ground, “I’m fine Icy-hot. Don’t you got better things to do?”

Todoroki shook his head. “No. I need to be here.” He picked up Katsuki’s hand. “What happened?”

The blonde’s eyes darkened and he took his hand back. “There was a wack in my place when I got home. We fought then he fled. End of story.” He stood and brushed passed Todoroki, “I’m getting out of here. Don’t fucking follow me, Ice-for-brains. I ain’t putting up with your shit today, got it?”

Shouto had never wanted to hit someone so bad in his life. Instead he nodded. “Ok. I will see you at school, right?”

Katsuki’s back was to him, but he saw the other boy give a brief nod before he stormed away from the scene.

Notes:

A/N: I really wanted to dive into Dabi's mindset here because he is a very major character in this story. I really hope you guys enjoy this chapter, and I'm sorry there isn't much action!

A/N2: I noticed a HUGE problem with my time line, so this has been addressed!

Chapter Text

Touya was raised being told he was nothing more than a failure. He hadn’t inherited any traits from his mother like Endeavor had wanted; he had dark crimson hair, turquoise eyes, and more fire power then any four year old could handle. It was odd how it could have happened, but his fire burned hotter than Endeavor’s, even though it was pale blue in color. Dabi had always thought it was funny, the color of his flames to be the only reminder of his snow white mother. As soon as the blue flames appeared, but ice did not, the Flame Hero turned his back on his first born son, set to try again.

At first, the young boy didn’t understand by his father wanted nothing to do with him. He tried to impress the Flame Hero whenever he could; he would train in the dojo whenever Enji was there. The young boy had amazing control over his quirk for someone so young, and at the age of five, he had completely mastered setting himself on fire. But Endeavor never gave him any praise, only looked down at him, shaking his head. Failure.

Fuyumi was born that year with pale white hair. Another failure. Their father wasn’t very impressed with her and would often ignore her existence completely, leading Touya to be the one to take care of her. After all, Rei wasn’t much help in the mothering department. Dabi hadn’t understood it at the time, but how can a six year old understand that he was the product of a forced relationship.

A few years later Natsuo was born. He had bright eyes and white hair, but Touya knew his father had hope for this one. Touya watched as Natsuo was doted on and cared for, all the while Fuyumi and him were ignored. Rei, it seemed, had finally givin into her fate and finally started to care for her daughter at least, which made Dabi happy.

Their mother was pregnant with her fourth child when Natsuo’s quirk finally manifested. The boy could only conjure a few snow flakes, nothing more. Enji quickly lost interest after that, not bothering to train the boy’s Quirk. Failure again. It made Touya happy to know his father just couldn’t get what he wanted.

Then, Shouto was born. Perfect Shouto with his half white and half crimson hair and mismatched eyes. Enji’s joy at the baby boy made Dabi’s blood boil. Finally, a ‘success’.

By the age of fourteen Dabi was completely outcast from his family. He lived in his own small property on the residence with a woman who was supposed to be a nanny but ended up being more like a mother to him. Often he would sneak to where Endeavor was training the youngest Todoroki, watching as the hero often beat his tiny son until the boy was bloody and bruised. Control, Endeavor would say, is what would help him win. Control over his environment, opponents, and most of all his Quirk. Dabi hated Enji more than anything in the world, but he took his fathers words to heart.

Touya ran away when he was fifteen, and thus Dabi was born. The first night away from home, he sat in an abandoned building in a old section of town and burned away is own flesh so he would not be recognized. The hair dye came a week later when he found himself staring at his reflecting in a bathroom mirror and his father flashed before his eyes. He stuck mostly to the shadows and stole whatever it was he needed to survive. He had a couple of run ins with minor heroes, but always managed to keep his face out of the news.

He was holed up in a fancy apartment building - the owners were away on vacation so he was making use of their space - when suddenly he heard a massive explosion. Intrigued, he went to check out the scene which was only a block away. What he found broke his heart.

Two dead bodies, a man and a woman catching flame. Then one more body a few feet away, this one completely burnt to a crisp, and lastly, a crying blonde haired boy. Said child looked heart broken at the man and woman, and laid himself to burn with the house. Though he was no hero, Dabi couldn’t help but step into the shell of a house and remove the child from harms way.

Once he had gotten down the rad and away from the flames, he realized he had no idea what he was doing. He couldn’t care for a child, and he had no desire to anyway. He was only sixteen himself now, and was still seeking a way to get revenge on his dear father. Before he could think too much about it, he dumped the kid off at the closest police station, intent on never so much as thinking about him again.

And for awhile, that was the case. He didn’t give the blonde haired boy another thought. He went about his usually ways, though as he perfected his quirk he did tend to cause more mischief. Dabi would set small fires to abandoned buildings around town and figure out response times for various areas. Good knowledge to have if a serious fight ever broke out. He would also do petty things; for instance he once found his dear fathers car and depleted it of all its gas. He snickered in the shadows as he watched a puzzled Endeavor try and figure out what was wrong with the thing. It was in this moment that 18 year old Dabi was reminded of the little blonde haired fire cracker. What had ever happened to that boy, he wondered?

Finding Bakugou, Katsuki was relatively easy. He was fostered into a crappy looking house with way to many other kids. When Touya found him, he was sitting on a swing by himself, staring at the ground. Any time one of the other ids tried to approach him, he would glare and cackle his little first, daring them to come near him; none ever got close. But the would point and whisper when Katsuki wasn’t looking, and it was unnerving to Dabi. The ebony haired teen came back every few days to watch the blonde, until maybe a month after watch him, Bakugou looked up and started to walk towards him. Panicked, Dabi almost fled.

For a moment, the blonde just stared when they came face to face. Then, he growled out, “I wanted to die, asshole!”

Startled, Dabi couldn’t come up with a response. He tried to keep his face unreadable, and nodded his head like he understood.

“What loser quirk do you got?” The little punk had the nerve to ask him.

Dabi smirked and nudged his head to the side, “I’ll show you some place private.” The young boy snorted, but followed anyway, seeming intrigued. Touya took him to his safe house not far away. A large portion of the building was completely void of furniture and walls, so Dabi liked to use it to train. “Stand back, it gets a bit intense,” He spoke with a smirk.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, but stayed a good distance away. “Get on with it already.

So Touya did. He made a cyclone of blue flames and had them dance around his body. The roaring was so intense his ears rang; no matter how many times he lit himself on fire, he always loved the ringing in his ears and the pounding of his heart. It made him feel alive. Once he let his flames die down, he saw a stunned Katsuki staring at him.

“You’re amazing.” He breathed out as he rushed over to the teen, “So much cooler then Endeavor!” The compliment made Touya swell with pride. “Could you teach me? I want to learn everything!”

The ebony haired man paused at that. Train this silly boy? An image of Endeavor standing over a bruised and battered Shouto came into his mind and he had to shake his head to make it go away, “Sorry kid, I’m no hero.”

The blonde eyes darkened. “I fucking hate heroes.” He spat out in disgust. “All the care about is money and fame. Fuck them.” Sparks started to fly from Bakugou’s hands.

Dabi placed a hand on Bakugou’s shoulder and smiled at the boy, “Well then, maybe I can help you after all.” That was the start of their relationship.

Now, Dabi could hardly control his rage. Those stupid heroes at that stupid school were getting to Katsuki, putting ideas in the boy’s head. Maybe he had been rough in the teen’s training, but it was for his own good; he had seen they way Shouto was trained afterall. After practically raising Bakugou, Dabi was upset to find he genuinely cared for the teen and his betrayal hurt. He had to get him back, whatever means necessary. And that meant in needed to get more involved in the action. Luckily, thanks to his sources in the villain underground, he knew just where to turn.

Chapter Text

Katsuki didn’t know if the school - and the authorities - had bought his story, but he had kept it as close to the truth as possible. Dabi always taught him that if he could avoid lying it was always best, because then you wouldn’t have to remember what lie you told. Someone had snuck up behind Katsuki, maybe he had long hair, his eyes could be blue, or green, he admitted to watching Katsuki at the sports festival, he was taller then Bakugou but shorter than All-Might, his flames were blue. The blonde hated giving that detail away but there was no avoiding it. Everyone had seen blue flames, which meant that Dabi had fired at least once at Bakugou while his back was turned as he was running away.

Still, the school took care of him. They allowed him to use a dorm room on an unused floor in Heights Alliance. Bakugou couldn’t be sure if the dorm was to keep him safe from his ‘stalker’ or if it was so they could keep an eye on him. Either way, he had no place to go if he hadn’t accepted. He took the next day off of school to get settled in, unpacking his belongings and such. Shouto sent him a couple of texts (how did that punk get his number!?) but he failed to respond. He wanted to, he just didn’t know what to say.

“I blew your brother,”

There was that too. Not only did Bakugou know he had to confess to being a villain, but he also had a very physical relationship with Shouto’s brother. “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!” He suddenly yelled out in frustration, falling onto his bed as his fingers pulled his hair. Shitty fuck Shouto just had to Kiss him and ruin all of his plans. Suddenly, Bakugou sat up and sparks flew from his palms. “I’m gonna murder that bastard!” Just as quickly as his anger came, it dissipated.

The next day at classes, Bakugou sought out Todoroki before classes. “Oi, Icy-hot bastard!”

Shouto turned from where he was talking to Deku and blinked at Katsuki. “Yes, Bakugou-san?”

The blonde fumed at the formal title. “You bastard, I want you to train with me from now on, got it?” He practically yelled as he clenched his fist. He knew he must have seemed like a madman, but he just needed Shouto to agree.

“I can work that out,” There was a smile on the other boy’s lips that instantly calmed Bakugou. “Text me the details?” His eyes were searching so the blonde nodded in affirmation.

“Yeah, I got your number Icy-hot.” He snapped out. Aizawa came into the room then and everyone had to get in their seats. The day turned interesting when their teacher announced they were going to pick their hero names today. Bakugou scoffed at the thought of coming up with one for himself because he knew it would never be used. Then again, this could be a great time to pick his villain name. After all, he didn’t want the police to get to choose his name, that would blow.

Aizawa went on to announce draft picks for them and pulled their numbers onto the board. 3556. Despite winning, Todoroki still got more than him. Still, none of that matter because he already knew where he was supposed to intern: Endeavor Hero Agency. At least, that had been Dabi’s plan. Should Katsuki stick to the plan? He wondered where it was Shouto was going to intern? Maybe he should pick the same agency, just to be safe. The room started to buzz with talk about their numbers. Todoroki was praised for getting so many offers, but the boy looked more irritated than anything.

“My father’s influence caused this, no doubt,” He responded.

Sticky Tape then had the nerve to say less agencies wanted Bakugou because they were afraid of his temper. “Anybody who’s too scared to work with me is just weak and I don’t fucking need that shit anyway.” Katsuki growled out in response, his blood boiling. Everyone settled down as Midnight walked into the room. Aizawa tried to stress the importance of their hero names.

Bakugou paid little mind to the names everyone was choosing, having already written his down. When Shouto stepped up, however, the name he chose caught the blondes eye, making his blood curdle.

“Touya!” Midnight read out loud, “Can I ask why you picked this name, young man?”

Shouto was looking down at the floor, “It is my brother’s name. He disappeared when I was young. I have always wanted to be a hero so I could find out what happened to him.”

Shit, fuck, Bakugou felt like he was going to vomit. Everything was getting more screwed up by the moment. He felt like he couldn’t breathe. When it was his turn, he stormed to the front of the room and yelled, “King Explosion Murder!” He couldn’t hide the feral look on his face. Midnight was taken aback and stuttered, “I think that may be a little too violent. This will be an extremely important aspect of your career.” He tuned her out. She didn’t understand. She made him sit back down and he was forced to think of something else.

His name had to have meaning, he knew, just like Shouto’s did. He thought about everything he had been though, how different his life could have been if that villain had never broken into his house. When it was his turn again he walked up to the front of the class and proudly displayed, “The Explosive Hero: Ground Zero.” on his board. Midnight seemed very pleased, and Todoroki gave him a smile, which was nice. Katsuki stormed back to his seat, trying to hide his heated cheeks.

The teachers talked for a bit more, but soon everyone was dismissed. Shouto came over to the blonde’s desk and set his paper down, “Did you get any good offers, Bakugou-san?”

There was that title again. “Of course, Ice-for-brains, I’m not a total loser like Deku.” Katsuki stood suddenly, “Get lunch with me, Shouto,” He spoke out softly, for Shouto’s ears only.

The boy before him blushed. He nodded and collected his things before following Bakugou out the door. Of course Katsuki didn’t go to the cafeteria, and Shouto didn’t protest as they left the building altogether. They ended up in the dorms, outside Bakugou’s door. “Wanna see my new room?”

“Oh,” Todoroki breathed, “The school took care of you then? I was worried when you said your parents were gone.”

The blonde nodded as he unlocked his door and allowed Shouto to enter. He closed the door behind them and waled over to his bed, sitting down. “Well, don’t just stand there,” He called out to the half hot boy, “We got a whole hour to do whatever we want.”

“Whatever I want?” Todoroki asked him, looking nervous. Bakugou gave him a toothy grin and nodded. The boy took a deep breath before stepping forward and dropping to his knees, “I want to return the favor,”

Shouto was a drug and Katsuki couldn’t get enough. His lips looked divine, swollen, red, slick with spit as he allowed Katsuki to gently fuck his mouth. There were tears in the corners of his eyes, maybe not used to sucking just yet. This was probably his first time with a dick in his mouth, and the thought almost made Bakugou cum on the spot. Instead, he gripped red hair in one hand and silver in the other, thrusting as deep as he could down his lover’s throat. Over and over again, he went slow but never gave Todoroki enough time to catch his breath.

Shouto moaned after a particularly hard thrust then reached down and unzipped his fly. Bakugou watched in fascination as the boy stroked his own cock, getting off so much on having his mouth used. Not being able to hold it in any longer, he pulled out and cam all over Shouto’s dick. “Stop touching yourself.” Bakugou growled as he pulled his hand away.

Shouto’s pupils were blown wide and he moaned at the loss of contact, “Please, Katsuki, I need to cum.”

No more honorific it seemed. Katsuki growled and pulled Todoroki to his bed, forcing him to get on his hands and knees. “Wanna taste you, stupid. Hold still.” Once Shouto’s pants were removed, the blonde parted his cheeks to stare at his prize. “I’m gonna make you scream my name Shouto.”

Katsuki dove in tongue first, pressing flat and licking in broad sure strokes. With one hand he held Todoroki’s hip in place, and the other reached around gripping the boys cum soaked dick. Shouto had buried his face in his arms but it did little to hide the wanton noises he was making.

“Oh please, please please, Katsuki,” Todoroki sounded so pretty when he begged. Fuck, Bakugou really wanted to fuck him. Not enough time though. Instead, he used the hand not stroking his lovers cock to slowly start to finger him as well as lick his insides. Soon it became too much and he chanted, rocking his hips back hard against the fingers and tongue fucking him, “Yes, yes, yes,” Until finally,

He screamed, “Katsuki.”

Chapter Text

Shouto was mortified in the best possible way. Walking into class five minutes late with Katsuki had been completely nerve racking, especially not knowing how the blond would act. Everyone had seen them leave together, no one had seen them in the lunch room, and they were both out of breath from having to run.

Aizawa gave them a firm glare, “Being late to class because of fighting will not be tolerated.”

Bakugou huffed and stormed to his seat, “Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

But Todoroki gave a deep bow, still panting, “I apologize Aizawa-sensei. It will not happen again,” Internally he wondered if his classmates believed Aizawa’s cover up. When class finally let out, he stayed behind with the intentions of trying to catch Katsuki before he left; however, some of his classmates blocked his path to the blonde.

“Don’t let Bakugou pick on you Todoroki-kun,” Uraraka spoke first, looking worried, “He can be such a brute,” She tried to whisper, but her voice carried across to the boy in question.

“I am not Round Face! Shut the hell up and die!” He yelled, pushing his way through the students.

Deku didn’t look convinced, “Kaachan they had to muzzle you just to put the medal around your neck at the sports festival!”

“Stupid Deku! I’ll kill you!” The blonde had a feral look on his face, but Shouto just smiled. Katsuki then turned to him and asked, “Where are you interning Icy-Hot?”

The question honestly took Shouto by surprise. Honestly, he had visited with his mother and between her and Bakugou, he had decided, “I’m going to intern with my father’s agency.” He still would never forgive his father for his life, but he was the number two hero afterall. The things Shouto could learn from him based on that fact alone had pushed Todoroki the finally way to make his judgment.

Bakugou’s eyes had darkened, but he spoke calmly to everyone’s surprise, “I got an offer from him to. I’m going to intern there.”

Asui tilted her head to the side, wondering, “Is that allowed?”

Shouto nodded, but he didn’t look away from Katsuki, “Yes, as long as we both got offers, it should be allowed.” He paused, then added, “Katsuki, could I walk you to your dorm?”

Everyone turned eyes to the blonde and started asking questions about how he was dorming. His cheeks turned bright red and for a moment Shouto thought Katsuki was going to blow up at everyone, “Come on, Icy-Hot, let’s go.” He growled out instead, storming from the room.

“Todoroki?” Shouto turned to Midoriya as he collected his things to leave, “I was just wondering if I could give you my number? In case you ever want to talk.” Shouto nodded after a moment of surprise and accepted the number written on a scratch piece of paper. “Are you and Kaachan. . . dating?” Izuku asked after a moment of thought.

Shouto blushed at the question, but shrugged, “We are friends. Anything more he is willing to share with me is his private affair.” Meaning no, my boyfriend is too far in the closet for me to be able to say we are dating.

Izuku seemed to understand though and nodded. “I knew Kaachan when we were very little. He was always mean, and picked on me endlessly,” The green haired boy’s eyes softened suddenly, “But I kind of knew that was just because we were friends. He was too insecure to show affection, so he lashed out instead. But he still always walked me home, and came up to me to play on the playground. He may seem angry alot, but, I think he’s just hiding how nice he is!”

“Oi, bastard! Are we going or what, I got shit to do!?” Katsuki’s voice carried from the hallway.

Shouto laughed and waved goodbye to his friend then headed out of the room. Bakugou was leaning against the wall looking pissed off, which wasn’t unusual. “I am sorry for the delay. Shall we?”

They began to walk and for a moment, Katsuki didn’t speak. Then, suddenly, “What in the Hell made you decide to pick your shitty father’s agency?”

Smiling, Shouto responded, “You. And my mother had a hand in it. My father is powerful. He may be a jerk, but I cannot deny that fact.”
Bakugou nodded, “Yeah, I can agree to that. He is the Number 2 Pro Hero after all.” He snorted and looked to the ground, “Whatever the case, I’m staying with you, got that? And you better warn him not to split us up, yeah?”

Todoroki was taken aback by the ferocity in which Bakugou spoke his demand, “What am I to you, Katsuki? Really?”

Bakugou didn’t answer, just kept walking. Maybe he was thinking of the right words? Whatever the case, Shouto followed him to his door, agonizing the entire time. Finally, just when Shouto didn’t think he was going to get answer, Bakugou spoke, “You are the one thing I want to protect.” His crimson eyes were blazing as hot as his fire while he spoke, “And I will do everything to make sure you never get hurt. Do you understand?”

Breathless Shouto responded, “Yes, Katsuki,” Before the blonde was suddenly on him, kissing his worries away.

It was near impossible for Katsuki to look Endeavor in the face knowing the pain and suffering he had caused his family. Still he stood next to Shouto, trying to control the beast raging inside him as Endeavor stared them down from behind his desk. “I was very surprised that the two of you both decided to intern here.” He began, standing and walking over to the two. “Still, I am not displeased. I have many things to teach both of you. Especially you, Young Bakugou.” He glared down at Katsuki.

The blonde growled and resisted the urge to hit him again. “Yeah, that’s why I’m fucking here. To learn from the number 2 hero. So bring it on bastard!”

Endeavor looked at Bakugou with contempt. “By the end of this internship, you will be thanking me, boy.” He huffed and glanced to Shouto, but held his tongue and instead opened the door to his office. “Pack your bags everyone, we’re making a trip.”

As it turned out, one of Bakugou’s idols was in Hosu City: Hero Killer Stain. Dabi talked about him often throughout the passed few years. He wasn’t considered a villain, but wasn’t a vigilante either. He believed that False Hero’s had invaded society, heroes like Endeavor who are vain and not true heroes. He was a fanatic who killed any hero who dared cross his path and Katsuki couldn’t help but look up to the man. Apparently one of their classmates brother had fallen victim to him recently and Endeavor was on a warpath. Personally, Katsuki was looking forward to seeing the man in action.

They spent the first couple of days patrolling the city and such. Really, it had all been quite dull no sign of the Hero Killer and hardly any crimes being committed. However, on the third night Endeavor, a few of his side kicks, and he two teens heard explosions coming from not far from where they were patrolling. Endeavor seemed eager to get to the action and directed everyone to follow him. But as they started to run, Katsuki heard Shouto’s phone go off. “Who the hell is texting you at a time like this?”

Todoroki looked confused and showed his phone to Bakugou as they ran. “It’s Midoriya. Just his location.”

Katsuki fumed at Deku’s name and paused, yelling out, “Since when you you text that shitty nerd!”

Endeavor turned around sharply and snapped at them, “Shouto, Katsuki, you both need to be paying attention.” But Shouto had grabbed the blonde’s hand and was pulling him away, “Where the hell are you going!?”

Shouto turned slightly to call back, “An alleyway 4-2-10 Ekou Street, if you finished early or see other pros, come help. Our friends might be in danger.”

Chapter Text

To say they had arrived just in time was an understatement. As Katsuki and Shouto rounded the corner into the alley way, they could see exactly why Izuku had messaged them. The green haired boy was laying on the ground, a few feet from him was another of their classmates, Iida, also on the ground. The hero killer was standing in all his glory, sword posed to kill the blue haired boy. Shouto moved first, sending a blast of fire shooting out towards Stain as they ran over to help. Katsuki was surprised with just how fast the Hero Killer was, as he easily dodged the unknown attack and jumped away from the fray. Bakugou stood next to Shouto has they moved to protect their fallen classmates.

“Midoriya, You should really give more details when you are in danger, I almost didn’t make it here in time.” Todoroki’s left side burned brightly in the dark night, lighting up the alleyway.

Bakugou scoffed, “Don’t worried yourselves, Extras, the pro’s will be here soon.”

Suddenly, ice shot out from Shouto, making Stain dodge once again. This time, however, it was just a distraction. Todoroki raised his ice and brought his friends even closer, to lay on the ground behind him and Bakugou. “You\re just like they said you were, Hero Killer, but I won’t allow you to take anymore lives.”

Izuku, who was still on the ground, urged them both, “You can’t let him get your blood. He controls people by ingesting it!”

Bakugou grinned, “Then we just have to keep our distance, right?” Sparks flew from his palms, “Not gonna lie, I’m gonna have fun with this-” Bakugou was cut off as a dagger flew towards him, grazing his cheek. He growled and tried to move, but Stain was just so fast. The dark haired man was already on him, tongue out, trying to lick his cheek. Luckily, Katsuki was fast too, and already had a palm in Stain’s face exploding before he could get any of his blood. The Hero Killer attempted to dodge, but was struck from the side by a large blast of ice coming from Shouto.

It seemed like he changed his tactic after that, going after Todoroki instead. It was a flurry of fire and ice, Stain always being one step ahead of Katsuki and Shouto. No matter how fast they seemed to move, Stain was not slowed. Working together, the two boy’s tried to trap Stain against the wall, but it was to no avail.

“Katsuki, we need to get the others out of here!” Shouto tried to say. He brought up his left arm, hoping to give his friends some cover fire, but suddenly two flying daggers came out of no where, embedding themselves deep in his arm. Stain was on him in an instant and Bakugou could only watch in horror as the Hero Killer jumped onto his lover, ripping out one of the blades and swiping the blood with his tongue.

“No, you bastard!” This was not how he imagined Stain to be. Fierce, strong, powerful, fast, all of those, yes but not, “You’re just a bully picking on fucking kids, you asshole!”

Stain stood and held onto Shouto’s collar, dangling the paralyzed boy in mid air. “I am the one who will cleanse this world of false heroes. You children claim to be heroes, and yet look,” He shook the half hot boy, “So easily you are defeated, even with your convictions. The world I create-”

Bakugou had enough. “Fucking shut up already!” He screamed as he looked at Shouto’s almost lifeless form, “I used to look up to you, asshole!” The hero killer paused at this, seemingly confused,

“Kat..suki,” Todoroki groaned, “Help, others. Save yourselves,”

“Shut up, shut up, shut up!” Katsuki was shaking in his rage, sparks flying from his palms, “I looked up to you, Hero Killer. I thought you were a just man, taking down the asshole’s who only claim to be heroes for the money and fame! You were my goddamn hero!” There were hot tears in Katsuki’s eyes now, “But you are just like them. You are a false prophet too!” Bakugou changed his stance and raised his hands, “Heroes, villains, I don’t care. I don’t care about any of it! But if you don’t put my boyfriend down right now, I’ll fucking murder you!” Then, he was charging, straight towards Stain, intent to kill.

Izuku suddenly appeared behind Stain then, and the Hero Killer seemed caught off guard. The green haired boy was pulling Shouto from the Hero Killer’s clutches while Katsuki’s open palm grasped the hero killers face. Boom. The man literally flew down the alley, fire chasing him. When the explosion dispersed, they saw him still standing, swords in hand.

“Took you long enough shitty Deku!” Katsuki fumed, charging up to the green haired boy and taking Shouto from his grasp. “Shouto, you good man?”

Shouto couldn’t even shake his head. “I’m completely paralyzed. How can you move, Midoriya?”

Izuku, who was keeping his eyes on stain, shook his head, “I don’t know. One minute I was paralyzed then the next I could move again. I have a few theories, but I think based on the fact that I was last to be paralyzed and first to move again that his quirk has a time limit based on blood type.” Across the way, Stain growled and hunched over, ready to attack. “I’m type O.”

Shouto tried to grin, “I am too.” He groaned out.

“I’m type A.” Iida spoke up.”

The pro hero next to him also revealed, “My type is B.”

Bakugou nodded and placed Shouto on the ground. “So Icy-hot and Glasses should be up in no time, but if I get hit I’ll be down for awhile. We got this shit, right Deku?”

Izuku looked to him and nodded. “Right, let’s finish him.” Surprisingly, Bakugou worked better with Deku than with Shouto. Their movements and quirks complimented each other well, and Bakugou found himself having fun as he threw tiny explosions at his once idol. He was forcing the man to dodge, and move right into Izuku’s various punches and blows. Dodging the sword was the hardest part; Stain was quick to counter against any limbs that stayed too close to him for even a microsecond.

The flow stopped when Stain struck him across his chest and he was forced to do something risky. He grabbed the Hero Killer’s wrist and attempted to twist and flip the man. He was unsuccessful, but he did get Stain to loosen his grip enough to grab the sword by the blade and rip it from the mans hands. Deku jumped in and defended him as he retreated, blood dripping across the concrete. “Deku,” Bakugou shouted as he dropped the sword, “We have to take him down. He’s wore out, sloppy. Attack together!” He created an explosion forcing the hero killer to seek refuge against the wall of a building. Bakugou’s left hand was pouring blood, too much for him to be able to create an explosion from it. He used crimson fingers to grip the trigger to his grenade.

Stain was charging down the wall towards him, sword drawn. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion as Iida flew passed Katsuki and up the wall towards the Hero Killer. Izuku was coming at him from the other side fist ready to deliver a killing blow. Bakugou waited and watched as both their attacks landed, making a horrifying cracking noise. Then, Shouto was at his side, nodding to him and he pulled his trigger. The blast the two boys created together hit true, pinning the hero against the building as he screamed in agony, nearly being burned alive. Then, he was falling; all three of them were falling. Shouto used his ice this time and caught everyone, holding the Hero Killer still, but it was obvious to them all that he was unconscious.

“Tie him up and let’s move out of the alley.” Todoroki spoke, but then he collapsed, holding his left arm. “Sorry, I need a moment. Forgive me.”
Katsuki ended up carrying Shouto from the alley on his back, grumbling about ho heavy the boy was. The pro hero also ended up having to carry Izuku and Iida was practically dragging Stain.

“Katsuki,” Shouto spoke softly into the blonde’s ear, “Did you mean what you said back there? Am I your…boyfriend?”

Bakugou blushed bright red, but he knew his other classmates had heard it to so there was no taking it back. “Fuck yes, you got a problem with that, Icy-hot?”

Shouto just sighed and laid his head down on Katsuki’s back, “Not at all, Katsuki.”

Chapter 13: Chapter 13

Notes:

A/N: Life is weird, a lot has happened since I last posted. Hope some of you are still interested in this story.

Chapter Text

Katsuki was pacing outside All-might’s office. Everything the last few weeks had been fucked, completely messed up. Before UA, if anyone had asked Katsuki if he could care for another human being, he would have laughed and punched them in the face. After learning the truth of the world, he never thought he would ever call another person ‘friend’ again. The pain of losing his parents, of losing his innocence, was just too much for him to handle, so he protected himself with his harsh words and powerful explosions.

But Shouto wasn’t like the rest of the world. Shouto was fragile and sweet and deserving of love, even if Bakugou wasn’t worthy of giving it. And Shouto needed to be protected, even if the boy could protect himself; because, there were things about the world he didn’t yet seem to understand, and Bakugou wished to shield him from them forever.

Sighing, the blonde finally knocked on the door and was startled when it immediately opened, All-Might already standing at the other end.

“I was wondering when you were going to knock!” He exclaimed, “Please, young Bakugou, come in!” He moved to the side and motioned the much smaller boy into his office. “What seems to be troubling you?” The hero asked as he closed his office door, turning to face Katsuki.

Bakugou’s heart was a jackhammer in his chest and his eyes shifted to the only exit which was now being blocked by All-might. Scoffing, he placed his fists in his pockets, trying to quell the sparks that threatened to rise, and got straight to the point, “I’m a villain.”

Whatever Katsuki expected All-Might to do, it certainly was nowhere near close to the laugh that suddenly flew from his mentor’s lips. It was hardy and rich, deep and amused. When Katsuki finally looked at him, All-Might was smiling. “Well young Bakugou, I’m glad to see you’ve finally decided to come forward. I had hoped you would!”

“What!?” Katsuki’s jaw hung open, hands dropping to his sides, “You…you knew? And you didn’t say anything? Why!?” The young boy fell back, suddenly exhausted. He landed on a couch to the side of All-Might’s desk.

All-Might turned serious, walking over to the boy and kneeling down to his level. He placed a hand on Katsuki’s shoulder, “Young Bakugou, you are a child. We knew you were under the influence of Dabi since you got accepted into UA, but we had hoped that you would realize your misdeeds. There is still time for redemption.”

Katsuki realized then that he was crying. He hung his head in his hands, letting the sobs come out. Finally, when he could speak again, he asked the most important question he would ever ask: “How?”

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

When he got back to his dorm 5 hours later, Katsuki was surprised to find Shouto there, waiting for him with that shy look on his face that had first endeared Bakugou to him. He dropped his bag in the doorway, slamming the door shut as he stalked over to the boy. “Come here,” He growled, pulling Shouto to him and kissing him firmly on the lips.

Shouto always tried to make things go fast, Bakugou assumed he was to blame. Afterall, he did dominate the other boy during their first kiss. So Katsuki kept it slow, caressing the boy's cheek, and waited for Shouto to moan before he dove his tongue into the icy cavern of his mouth. Bakugou took his time mapping the expanse of the boy's mouth, deft fingers working slowly down Todoroki’s shirt buttons as he backed the boy up to the edge of his bed.

“Let me make you feel good,” He whispered against Shouto’s lips, gently pushing him back onto his bed, “Can I?”

Shouto was trembling beneath Katsuki, hands clenching the other boy’s shoulders, “Yes, god yes, please,” He moaned as Bakugou moved to place love bites all over his neck and shoulders, “Please, I want you so bad.”

So Katsuki took his time, for he didn’t know how long this could possibly last. His hands roamed the plains of Todoroki’s body, committing to memory every inch they could of pale skin. His fingers played with dusty nipples, and his mouth followed, gently biting and teasing Shouto’s body with soft teeth. The best part was the noises the other boy made beneath Bakugou, innocent whimpers and pleas spilling from his mouth as his body withered and arched to get more of what Katsuki was offering him.

Still, Bakugou would not be rushed in this. His fingers slowly worked their way down, relieving Shouto of his pants. He thankfully kept lube under his mattress so by the time he was wrapping fingers around Shouto’s gloriously long cock they were nice and slick allowing him to slide up and down with barely there pressure, making Todoroki arch his back and cry out in what sounded like euphoria. Katsuki’s own member bobbed painfully in his slacks, begging for release, but he had more work to do.

His mouth continued downward and while one hand was stroking Shouto’s cock, the other lifted him by one thigh, holding him in the air so Bakugou’s mouth could find its prize. He didn’t dive in right away, no he continued his love bites and kisses all over Shouto’s thighs and cheeks, whispering sweet words as he went, “You’re so beautiful,” before finally his tongue darted out and began to place slow, gentle licks along Todoroki’s quivering hole.

“Katsuki!” Shouto cried out at the contact, drawing his legs up to his chest, “Oh dear God,” Katsuki could hear the tears in the other boy’s eyes and when he darted his eyes to look, Shouto looked completely wrecked, fist shoved into his mouth, face twisted in what could only be described as rapture. Katsuki growled at the site and started to thrust his tongue in and out of the willing hole before him. Soon, the fingers that had been stroking Shouto’s cock ever so gently joined Katsuki’s tongue, first one, then two, working their way into the boy and loosening his tight muscles.

Finally it was too much to bear. Katsuki leaned back on his knees, his hands moving to clench two pale thighs, and began to line himself up with Shouto’s entrance before slowly pushing the head of his cock in, willing himself to be gentle with his lover. “God, you’re so tight Shouto,” He growled out, resting his forehead on the other boys, “You ok?”

Todoroki was panting, eyes screwed shut, one hand clenched in the sheets while the other was creating a bruise on Bakugou’s shoulder, “God, yes, so good,” He moaned, arching against Bakugou, “please, don’t stop,”

Katsuki took in a breath and continued to push into the wet heat of Shouto’s body inch by glorious inch until he was completely seated within the other boy. After a moment he pulled out before thrusting back in. It was like an eclectic shock went through him and both boy’s moaned loudly at the friction that was being caused. Despite Shouto asking for ‘more, more, more,’ Katsuki kept an even pace, pumping in and out, making sure to drag his cock across Todoroki’s prostate with every thrust, making sure the other boy was a babbling mess. Finally, he did as he was asked, wrapping a hand around Shouto’s cock firmly and stroking one, two, three times and then suddenly the other boy was cumming, his seed spilling all over his own chest and down his neck, Katsuki’s name on his swollen red lips. Bakugou growled, withdrawing his cock and stroking it a few more times before covering Shouto’s twitching hole and balls with his own load, practically snarling as the force of his orgasim ripped through him.

Neither boy could move for a moment, cum drunk from the unfolded events before finally Katsuki stood, retrieving a rag and cleaning his lover, slightly embarrassed by the mess they had made. When he was done, he laid next to his lover side by side facing each other and began to stroke his cheek.

Shouto closed his eyes and sighed a happy sigh, “As far as first times go, that was amazing,”

Katsuki froze. First times? Of course it was Shouto’s first time, how could he have been so stupid? “I just…took your virginity?”

Todoroki’s eyes snapped open, “Well, yeah…I’ve never really even dated before,” He leaned up in the bed, “I mean, I figured it wasn’t your first time. But I thought for sure you knew it was mine?”

Bakugou jumped out of bed and began to pace the room, his chest clenching painfully. “I shouldn’t have done that. First times should be special, especially for you,” He glazed as Shouto on the bed, then shook his head, “Goddamnit I would have at least had some rose petals or some shit, I can’t believe I just took your fucking virginity on a random Tuesday afternoon,” Bakugou was startled when Shouto began to laugh uncontrollably. “What’s so goddamn funny, ice-for-brains?” He snarled, raising a fist.

Shouto began waving him off, “I’m sorry it’s just, that was special. I mean, was your first time so good?”

Katsuki’s mind flashed to Dabi - Touya - taking him on his knees in the dirt after hardly preparing him for what was about to happen. “No,” He admitted, suddenly ashamed, “I guess you’re right.” Bakugou suddenly approached Todoroki, climbing back over him in bed, “How about next time, you top? If you want to, that is,”

Shouto sputtered, a blush on his face, “Is that something you’re even into?” He asked, fiddling with the sheets.

Katsuki shrugged above him, “I mean, not really. But I do think it would be good with you.” He softened his eyes and began to nuzzle Shouto’s neck, “I think I’d really like it with you.”

“O-ok, next time.” Shouto spoke shakily, a soft smile upon his face.

Soon both boys settled down, Katsuki becoming the big spoon and holding Shouto tightly, as if afraid he would disappear. Neither one meant to fall asleep, but both couldn’t resist the lull of comfort that surrounded them and soon they drifted off into a peaceful oblivion.

Chapter Text

Bakugou awoke at four in the morning, startled out of his sleep because of a nightmare. He laid on his back, panting harshly as he tried to get his bearings, and willed the images of blood and fire from his mind. After a moment, he realized there was a pressure on his chest and remembered what had happened before falling asleep. Shouto looked peaceful, curled up at Katsuki’s side, head on the blonde’s chest. Bakugou’s heart clenched while looking upon the boy’s scarred face, a reminder of the horrors of the Todoroki family.

He laid awake until his alarm sounded, arm wrapped tightly around his lover as if Shouto would disappear if Katsuki dared fall asleep. When the other boy began to stir, Bakugou quickly turned his eyes away and hit his alarm, silencing its ring, “Mornin,” He grumbled, trying to act as if he had just awoken as well.

Shouto sprang up from the bed, “Oh shit, it’s morning?” He started to gather his clothes, pulling them on as fervently as he could, “I’ve got to get home, I’ve got to get ready for class,”

Bakugou stretched out on the bed, yawning, “Just wear one of my uniforms ice-for-brains, you can shower here,” His eyes darkened as he stood and walked over to Shouto, “Come on, I need one too,” When Todoroki froze and began to blush, it made Katsuki cackle, “Too late to be embarrassed now, Shou-to,” The blonde purred as he cupped Shouto’s cheek, placing a chaste kiss on his lips, “Come on, or we’re gonna be late.”

They were late, running into class five minutes past the bell again, both with soaking wet hair and panting. But this time, Aizawa just glared; this time, everyone knew that Shouto and Katsuki were dating. It made the walk to his desk almost unbearable for Bakugou. He wanted to yell and scream and blow up - literally - at his classmates who were staring at him. He refrained.

At the end of class, Aizawa announced it was time for their final exams, including the written and practical exams. The students all began to talk about studying and their scores. Momo offered to tutor several of the other students and study groups quickly began to form.

Kirishima moved towards Bakugou, and the blonde eyed him with narrow eyes, “What do you want, shitty-hair?”

The red head rubbed the back of his head, laughing nervously, “Well, you were ranked number 3 during the mid-terms, right? Think I could study with you?”

Before Katsuki could answer, Shouto appeared behind Kirishima and added, “Could you help me study as well? I only ranked number 5.”

Bakugou snorted, “Only number 5?” He then crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair, “Yeah, yeah, alright, we can study together.” Todoroki gave him a small, meaningful smile, and it made Bakugou’s heart clench until he couldn’t bear it anymore and looked away.

When he slept that night, he felt cold and alone but it reminded him of Todoroki, so he drifted off almost peacefully.

The next few days Katsuki spent trying to avoid Shouto as he had yet to figure out how to tell him everything that needed to be said. He knew he had to be the one to tell Todoroki; if someone else did it, the other boy would never forgive him. But what exactly could Bakugou say?

‘By the way, I’m really a villain and I’ve been sleeping with your missing-turned-villain-brother.’ He couldn’t say that, could he?

When the weekend came, he couldn’t avoid the situation any longer; luckily Kirishima showed up at the same time as Shouto Saturday morning to ask as a buffer.

“Sup Baku-bro!?” The redhead had exclaimed loudly once Bakugou opened his dorm room door.

Bakugou rolled his eyes and turned his gaze to Shouto, who was standing beside Kirishima looking like a nervous puppy. The half -hot boy gave a small wave, “Good morning,”

Katsuki moved to the side, “Yeah, yeah, come in already,” He grumbled.

Once inside, Kirishima took a spot on the floor, pulling various books out of his book bag, while Shouto chose to sit cross legged on Bakugou’s bed, also retrieving his materials from his bag. Katsuki wanted to sit with his lover more than anything, but he chose instead to sit at his desk, turning the chair around to face them.

He found his mind wandering while tutoring the two other boys. He thought of Dabi, of how the villain had shaped and molded Bakugou into exactly what he had wanted. He thought of his first kiss with Dabi and how different it had been with Shouto. Where Dabi was controlling and possessive, Shouto was soft and explorative.

Katsuki began to compare the two more fully. He could see the similarities between the two as well, such as their love for cold soba noodles, or their calm, cold, calculating demeanor when faced with their advisories. But they were also completely different when in private. Dabi was all confidence in the bedroom, taking what he wanted. But Shouto was shy and self conscious, asking with hope instead of greedily demanding.

Hope wasn’t something Katsuki was used to. When he had told Dabi all those years ago that he wanted to die, he had truly meant it. The pain inside him had been so strong then, threatening to overwhelm him and consume him completely. But Dabi had saved him, thus Dabi had Katsuki’s faith, something different than hope. Katsuki put his faith in Dabi that Dabi would do as he said and take down the society which had betrayed the both of them.

But now, all Katsuki had was Shouto, and Shouto’s hope. Hope that there was still time to fix all of this, hope that maybe, just maybe, Shouto would forgive him for everything that he had already done, and had yet to do.

The three boys spent all day studying, taking snack breaks here and there and quizzing each other. Katuski was relentless in his drills, taking his job as tutor as seriously as possible. Once night had finally come, he was restless with need. Need for contact, to be close, to hold his treasure.

“Alright shitty-hair, get out,” He growled out suddenly after dark before marching to his door and throwing it open, “Can’t you tell when you’ve moved on to being a third wheel?” Kirishima just laughed and collected his things, leaving the two boys alone finally.

Bakugou looked upon Shouto darkly, stalking towards the boy, “I missed you these past couple nights,” He whispered once he was standing in front of his bed, looking down at the other boy.

Shouto looked up at him, his eyes glimmering, “I can’t stay the night tonight, I have to be somewhere in the morning,”

Katsuki held in his disappointment, “Can I hold you, at least?” He asked earnestly. The request seemed to shock Shouto, who’s eyes widened slightly. He gathered his things and laid atop the covers, inviting Bakugou to join him.

They laid spooning for a while, Katsuki’s chest against Shouto’s back. At first, Shouto had been tense, waiting for something else, before finally relaxing against the blonde fully. Soon, moments like these might be the only happy memories Katsuki had of Shouto, and he was going to relish in them for as long as he could.

But before long, Shouto stirred and turned to look at him, “I have to go,”

Katsuki propped his head up on his elbow, “Alright, I get it. I…” A lump had formed in the blonde’s throat, and he was suddenly unsure if he should speak his next words, “I’ll miss you,” He decided to say. Shouto smiled and stole a kiss from him before jumping out of the bed and making his way home.

The final exam was exactly what Katsuki thought it would be, and just like the midterms, he knew he scored high. The surprise, however, was when the teachers announced the true practical exam; they would be fighting against the teachers in pairs. He was even more surprised when the teachers announced that his fight would be held alone, just him vs All-Might. Bakugou couldn’t help but laugh at the irony behind it all, considering his life had almost really turned into him fighting the very heroes who were teaching him.

He didn’t watch the other fights, but he wasn’t surprised at all when Shouto’s name was announced as having passed. Shouto was strong, resilient, and resourceful. Bakugou was more than confident in the other boy’s abilities.

When it came time for his battle, he left the waiting room and entered the arena with purpose. He knew he couldn’t beat All-Might if the hero had been in top shape, but he also knew a secret; All-Might was under some sort of time limit with his powers. He would attack swiftly and wear the older man down in order to take him down. However, when Katsuki finally came across All-Might, he was too afraid to move. The reality of the life that could have been had created a hole in his stomach and a weight in his heart.

But, All-Might just stood there, hands on his hips, in his hero pose, and gave Bakugou a bright smile, “Young Bakugou, have no fear, we can talk freely here! All the microphones in this area have been disabled!”

Katsuki gave the pro hero a puzzled look and remained on guard, “Why? Why make me take the exam by myself? Why make it so no one can hear us?” He growled out, hands shaking, “I don’t understand!”

All-Might softened and took a few steps towards Katsuki, putting up his hands to show he meant no ill will when the boy looked like he was going to attack. Once he was standing directly in front of his student, he placed a hand on his shoulder, “Young Bakugou, I’m happy to announce that you have passed your practical exam!”

Katsuki’s eyes widened and his confusion did nothing but grow, “But why, All-Might? Why are you doing all of this, for me?” He didn’t understand how this pro hero could look at him and see anything more than what he knew he was - a villain's tool. “After everything I’ve done, everything I was going to do, how can you stand there and forgive me?” Tears were in his eyes, threatening to spill.

All-Might shook his head, “It’s because I have hope for you, for your future,” The man took a few steps back and turned his head, beside him Aizawa came into view.

He looked like his normal, impassive self. But when he spoke, there was such raw emotion in his words, “We don’t see you as a villain. We see you as a victim that we failed to protect.”

Katsuki fell to his knees and clenched his fists. Hw hated that word - victim. He was not weak, or small, or afraid. But you don’t have to be weak to be a victim, he knew that now.

Then, Midnight appeared on the other side of All-Might, “It’s time we corrected a wrong that was done to you, and showed you that it’s ok to still have hope.”

All-Might held out his hand to Katsuki, “When you came and confessed to me your misdeeds, you passed what we had decided would be your exam. I knew you could do it.” His smile never wavered, “So stand tall with pride, smile as bright as you can, and show the world that you are here, and that you, too, can be a hero”

And with that, Katsuki felt a warmth he hadn’t known in a long time. He took All-Might’s hand and stood, and when he finally looked up, his smile shined through the tears falling from his eyes.

I'm hoping this is going to be about 5-10 chapters long. I have a vague idea where I want it to go, just not all the details.
