Chapter 1: The Green Shield Family: Origin
Chapter Text
"You should just give up..."
Those words rang in the ears of little Izuku Midoriya after getting an examination for a Quirk. He was just 4 years old. But, that old bald doctor callously told him to give up on being a Hero.
He remembered his mother's tearful apologies. They weren't what he wanted to hear. He wanted to know if he could be a Hero without a Quirk. In his youth, Midoriya Izuku had no idea how to be a Hero without a Quirk. His old friend, Kacchan, became his worst nightmare as he bullied the green haired boy for his lack of a Quirk.
To Kacchan, having no Quirk meant you were worthless. Useless. A Deku.
Now here he was, bruised and beaten up, as he defended another kid from his former friend and his posse.
"Give it up, Deku! You ain't gonna be a Hero!" The ash blonde child said, smirking his evil smirk. Behind him were two others, a fat boy with Wings and taller, skinnier boy with long fingers.
"Nuh uh! I-I-I won't quit! I'm n-not letting y-you hurt him!" The beaten boy stammered, barely standing from the previous pummeling he endured.
"Okay, Deku. We'll play a game. Heroes VS Villains. Your favorite!" Bakugo jeered, his smirk widening, "We'll be the Villains! And you be the Hero! Ready?"
Izuku's eyes shot open.
"H-Hey! It's one on three! I can't--!" Izuku whimpered, before explosions interrupted him.
"If you're the Hero, you can win, right? But, let's see if you can beat us without a QUIRK!" Bakugo yelled, rushing forward with his two friends flanking him.
Izuku braced for the inevitable, but, suddenly, footsteps from the right of him rushed over. Getting between him and the three attackers, was a taller, blonde girl. With a frown, she shoved Bakugo straight to the ground with enough force to throw off the two other kids' balance.
"Hey! What the heck's da deal, bitch! We was playing!" The ash blonde snarled as he picked himself up from the dirt.
"You're bullying these kids! I'm not going to let you hurt them." The girl decreed, crossing her arms as her small sundress flowed in the wind. Her stern face showed she was more mature. Izuku noted she had to be at least two years older than all of the boys.
"Not our fault the loser's a Quirkless shit!" Bakugo growled, he dusted himself off and stood aggressively. But he was shorter than the girl. The girl's blue eyes flared with surprising anger.
"So you're beating him up because he's Quirkless?! Well news flash! I'm Quirkless too!" She yelled, "And I knocked you on your butt! Get lost, bully!"
"And why should I do that?" Bakugo snarled. The girl gave a haughty smile.
"Because I bet I'm older than you! And boys always are supposed to be nice to girls!" She replied, "If people heard you attacked a girl with no Quirk, with your Quirk...well, you wouldn't be a Hero now, huh?"
Bakugo growled and kicked some dirt at Midoriya, before spitting at the ground and walking off with the two boys. Izuku was floored. No one's ever stood up to or argued with Kacchan before. He was the best at everything, but, this girl; this 'Quirkless' girl made him leave.
"Hey, are you two okay?" The girl said, turning to Midoriya and the other boy. The unknown boy just hightailed it away without a thank you or good-bye. Leaving Izuku staring in awe of the blonde girl.
"U-U-U-uuuuuh...." was all Midoriya could muster as he gawked.
"Oh! My name's Melissa Shield. What's yours?" The girl, Melissa, introduced herself, smiling.
"Uh...I'm Midoriya Izuku." The greenette mumbled, sadly. A pretty girl was talking to him and he was just a pathetic runt of a kid. Why bother with him?
"Nice ta meetcha. Um...Why did he call you 'Deku'? I never heard that word before." Melissa asked. Izuku hung his head in shame.
"Deku is another way of spelling my name. It...also means 'Useless'." He muttered, trying his best not to cry in front the cute girl; failing massively. Melissa gasped and grabbed the green haired boy and hugged him tightly.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know! It's okay, Izuku! Don't cry! You're not a Deku! You're nice! You're a good boy!" Melissa said, frantically patting the boy on the back.
Suddenly, more noise came from behind the pair. Looking behind her, Izuku saw a tall, brown haired man with a small goatee. He had glasses and a lab coat and was jogging up to the duo.
"Melissa? Melissa! There you are! Sweetheart, I told you not to wander off! C'mon, we have to meet Uncle Mi-Huh? Who's this sweetie?" The man asked. He crouched down, allowing Melissa to look up with a worried expression and jumped into his arms.
"Daddy! This boy was being bullied cuz he was Quirkless; like me!" Melissa cried, nuzzling into her father's chest. Izuku sniffled and watched. He never knew his father, but wished his was as nice as this one.
"Oh dear...Come now; both of you. Young man, where are your parents?" The parent asked.
"M-Mom's at home. It's over there." Izuku whimpered, point to the apartment complex nearby.
"I see. Alright, young man. Allow us to escort you home. Your mother needs to be informed of this." The brown haired scientist-man said, offering a hand.
"Does she need to? I don't wanna get Kacchan in trouble..." Izuku mumbled. Melissa got in Izuku's face with a frown.
"Why not? Bullies are mean! He beat you up! Guys like that are the worst!" Melissa scolded, "If yer saying he's yer friend then, something's wrong."
"Honey, let's just bring the boy home. We'll figure things out afterwards." The man explained, "By the way, my name's David Shield. I'm a Scientist."
Izuku was brought home by the kindly scientist and young girl. As they walked, Melissa swung her hand connected to Izuku's back and forth like they were siblings. Truth be told, Melissa liked making sure the green haired boy was okay.
Once they reached the Midoriya apartment, Inko was flabbergasted by new people her baby boy brought back with him. More to her shock and horror, was that her son was being bullied. All this time, she assumed her son was friends with the other boys. She was making tea in the kitchen, mulling over the news. She quivered with silent fury and self-loathing. How could she be so blind? She'd have to tell Mitsuki that her son is to stay away from her little green angel.
"Madam?" A voice came from behind. Turning she saw the soft smiling face of the American who brought her baby boy home. He reminded her immensely of her Hisashi.
"Oh! Mr. Shield...I-I'm sorry." Inko apologized sadly.
"Please, call me David. I can understand the stresses from raising a child on your own." David said, gently, "If you don't mind my asking...where is Mr. Midoriya? He should be informed--?"
"My husband passed away a long time ago." Inko interjected, "Izuku doesn't know. I don't think I have the heart to tell him. He only knows his father's overseas. Which...Is partially true."
"Your husband died overseas?" David asked, incredulously. Inko gave a sad smile as she made tea.
"Yes. He was a businessman who got caught up in a hostage situation." Inko bitterly recounted, "He managed to defuse the situation but, he died saving the others. Izuku's a lot like his father too. Very much wanted to be a Hero, but, without a Quirk, what can he do?".
Placing a sympathetic hand on Inko's shoulder, David gave a calming smile.
"I once had the same fear when my daughter was examined as Quirkless. But, she didn't mind." David said softly, "My daughter wants to help people and be a Hero. But, being told she was Quirkless didn't deter her at all. She decided she would help people even if she couldn't be a Hero. Now she wants to be a Scientist like her dear, old Dad."
Inko was surprised by this. The young girl who was playing with her son was also Quirkless? And it didn't even stop her from smiling? She should really take lessons on how to be a better mother to her son.
"Like you said, Madam. You have a wonderful son." David noted, smiling, "You just need to nurture his spirit. That smile is what we old folks strive to keep alive, right?"
"Oh my, you're not that old, David." Inko chortled. David smirked.
"Well, if I may be so bold, you're quite the looker yourself, Madam." The brown haired scientist flirted. Inko giggled.
"Please...Please, call me Inko." The green haired woman replied, smiling. The goatee'd scientist blushed. Memories of his lost wife fluttered back. He realized he had some common ground with this beautiful woman. Suddenly, David realized the distance between the two was shorter than before. They were practically embracing each other, with how close they got. Blushing intensely, both adults Stepped back nervously. Calming herself, she watched as the scientist sighed in relief.
'What was that feeling I just had?' both Inko and David pondered. The two stared at each other before a series of loud knocks came to the door.
"Huh?! What was that? Izuku could you get the door?" Inko called. From Izuku's room, multiple footsteps pitter-pattered to the living room.
"Okay, Mom!" The little boy called out, happily. Inko smiled as Izuku's previous sadness and pain seemed a distant memory; even if it was like an hour or so ago.
"Hey, Dad! Do ya think it's Uncle? You gave him our GPS, so ya think it's him?" Melissa beamed at her father, causing him to chuckle.
"Possibly, sweetheart. You know Uncle Mi--! Oh! Oh no, no, no, no!" David began to chuckle before panic soon set in. He never told Inko or Izuku about the person they were meeting.
"David? Is something the matter? Who's this Uncle that Melissa's talking about?" Inko asked, her tone taking a measure of concern. Before the glasses wearing man could respond, Melissa skipped to Inko.
"Uncle Might! He's super nice and big! He's really funny and makes me smile!" Melissa replied, causing David to pale.
"'Uncle Might'? Is that what you call your Uncle or...is that?" Inko asked, as sudden realization, and dread washed up to her.
"N-Now just hold on, I-Inko. I c-can explain--!" David stuttered to try and salvage the visit.
But any attempt to calm the green haired beauty soon fell to the wayside as a familiar, loud voice roared into the kitchen.
"EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT! DO YOU KNOW WHY? BECAUSE I! AM! HERE!"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
*THUMP!*
David, Melissa and Inko both jumped as they rushed to the entrance of the apartment. The sight before them nearly caused INKO to shriek in shock.
In the entrance the Midoriya home, in a plain white t-shirt, regular khaki pants and hunched over in confusion, was All Might; the Number One Hero of Japan. At his feet, flat on his back, foaming at the mouth and eyes rolled back, was her little boy, Izuku. His foot twitching from shock.
"Ummmm...Is he okay?" All Might asked, quietly.
AN HOUR LATER...
"S-So...David...You and All Might have known each other since?" Inko asked, shaking with her tea in hand. Izuku was quaking and shuddering with outright fear and awe. The greatest hero in his life; his IDOL, All Might was in his house.
"We've worked together since his youth. I've been a sidekick of his until I retired and married my wife. Bless her soul." David said, solemnly.
Izuku's mind snapped to a realization, causing him to point immediately to the brown haired gentleman.
"WAHHHH!! Now I know where I heard your name before! You made All Might's first costume!" Izuku exclaimed, loudly.
"Izuku! No pointing at people like that! Please!" Inko nervously tried to stop her son from hyperventilating.
"I-It's okay, Inko-chan. Chan, right? That's the proper suffix?" David began, "Your boy's right. I designed All Might's first costume. Kinda had to. His clothes got shredded every time he flexed."
"Hey now! C'mon, Dave! It wasn't my fault entirely, HAHA." All Might chuckled. He bounced little Melissa on his knee like he was her actual blood uncle. Given the hair color and eye color, it wouldn't have been far off. Melissa soon gave a smile.
"Uncle Might! Let me and Izuku show you his room! He's got all sorts of cool stuff there." Melissa chimed in, hopping off the hero's knee. Chuckling, the behemoth hero allowed Melissa to pull him along, Izuku; shocked, following suit. Alone in the living room, Inko and David just became nervous.
"I am SO sorry, Inko. I should have told you about that detail." David apologized.
"I-It's okay, David. Just...kind of caught me by surprise." Inko replied, her smile returning, "I must say, you've lived quite the charmed life."
"Ha, ha, ha...Yes. Quite the life. I'd never change it for the world." David explained, wistfully. The two parents smiled as they continued to talk about their lives and youth.
MEANWHILE IN IZUKU'S ROOM...
"Wow! Young Midoriya, you're quite the...fan?" All Might said, nervously noting the boy's All Might merchandise. Which nearly covered the whole room.
"Um...I've been a fan since I learned about Heroes." Izuku said, looking down in nervous glee, "I know it's...it's weird so much stuff like this here."
"N-Not at all, Young Midoriya! Just didn't see such a passionate fan of Heroism..." All Might interjected, calming the boy, "So, Young Man. If you're looking to be What is your Quirk?"
The mood of the room went from jovial to tense as Izuku's entire body language went from shy and happy to...fearful. The massive Hero could sense it; he pressed something he shouldn't have. He saw Melissa look ashamed as the Green-Haired-and-Eyed boy just...stood, his eyes just looking at whatever was more interesting on the floor.
"I...I-I...I'm...Qu-Quirkless, Mr. All Might, sir..." Izuku whispered, frightened. All Might placed a calming hand on the tiny boy.
"Easy there, Young Midoriya. There's nothing to be ashamed of." The tall blonde man calmed, a relieving smile on his face, "Being Quirkless is not something to be ashamed of at all. Why, Young Melissa here is Quirkless and she's a beacon of wonder!"
"Um...But...I..." Izuku began, trembling to speak. His idol gives a motion for him to speak, gently nudging him, "I...I wanna be a Hero...Like you."
The Smiling Hero felt his heart clench like a vice. He looked at him with such hope...reminding him of a familiar memory from his own youthful days.
"Do you..."
All Might was taken from his reverie by the boy in front of him as he sat on the boy's soft bed.
"Do you think someone Quirkless...like me could be a Hero?" He asked with pleading eyes.
Since his arrival, All Might's smile never faltered. Until this question was dropped on his lap.
"Hmmm...Can one be a Hero without a Quirk?" All Might mused, "In the field of Pro Heroes, the profession boasts quite a number of dangers. Even for those with Quirks. In honesty, I would believe that you cannot be a Pro Hero...Not without a Quirk, my boy."
Izuku's hope began to crack and shatter. Even his idol; his personal Hero, All Might, admitted that he couldn't be a Hero without a Quirk. Melissa comforted him with a hug, and was about to go at her own surrogate Uncle until...
"HOWEVER..."
The two looked up in confusion as the Pro Hero's posture straightened, cross his arms and gave a confident smile.
"Times change and what was once popular opinion may no longer apply now. After all, before the Age of Quirks, heroics were done by Scientists, Police Officers, Firefighters, Rescue Works and Doctors. None of them have Quirks and, to this day, are among the most respected and decorated individuals I've ever met. What I mean to say, Young Midoriya...Young Melissa...Is that I offer you a challenge."
All Might hunched forward to both children. His face stern, his smile no longer there. His voice, a hushed whisper; still containing his gravitas.
"Prove. Me. Wrong.".
Izuku was stunned. His idol challenged him to prove he could be a Hero without a Quirk. His HERO acknowledged his dream and challenged him to make it so, on his own terms!
Without warning, his serious face morphed to a jovial, paternal, toothy smile before grabbing the awestruck children and pulling them both into a bear hug. The children laughed and squealed as they fought to escape the mighty hero's grasp. All Might gave a boisterous laugh as he played with the two little kids; all the while both Inko and David were outside the boy's room listening in.
Inko shed tears, tears she never thought she'd let loose. All Might really was the 'Symbol of Peace'. He brought 'peace of mind' to Inko and 'peace of hope' to her boy. She'd never forget his kindness.
In the coming months, the Midoriya and Shield families regularly interacted with each other. Izuku and Melissa played well together; as if they were natural born siblings to each other, while David and Inko were still figuring out how to court each other. Subtle flirts and jests were their norm as the children played video games, read books and pushed each other to become better.
Melissa still coveted her dream to become a scientist like her father, while Izuku tried to analyze ideas on being a Quirkless Hero. Soon, when playing a game of Zone of the Enders: 2nd Runner, as Melissa read Iron Man, the blonde girl (who began to need glasses) decided to add Engineering and robotics to her Scientist dream. Izuku offered to be her Test Pilot for her mech suits.
It was in late August when, after Izuku and Melissa played together in the park, that they discovered their parents in...an awkward position. Inko was streaming tears, smiling like a giddy school girl while hugging David's neck like they just got engaged...which is actually what was happening. David Shield, father of Melissa Shield, 'popped the question' to Inko Midoriya, mother of Izuku Midoriya.
Their wedding was a sight to behold. Izuku and Melissa met Heroes from across the country since All Might was, not only the guest of Honor, but chief of security. Apparently, he takes protecting his closest friends seriously. The wedding was an American-Catholic styled wedding ceremony.
David was sweating like crazy when Ms. Midoriya walked down the aisle, a white wedding dress with small green accents. Her blush accented her cheeks and had rose red lipstick. Melissa was enamored by Inko's looks while Izuku blushed in surprise that his Mom could get any prettier.
By the time the "I Do's" rolled around, All Might could barely contain his tears of joy; not even getting into how over the moon he was when David was told to kiss his bride.
Izuku and Melissa were babysat by another Pro Hero while Inko and David had their honeymoon. Neither could remember who it was, but, his dark clothes, gray scarf(?) and five o'clock shadow were unforgettable. Even if he did refer to both kids as 'Problem Children'...for their inquisitive natures.
The only family unable to attend the ceremony or after-party were the Bakugos. Mostly because Katsuki didn't want to be anywhere near 'Deku'. Inko was given profuse apologies from her friend, Mitsuki, but at least she was happy for herself and her newly increased family.
The family would ultimately move to the International Science Expo locale, I-Island, and both Izuku and Melissa would grow to become big influences for scientific advances.
We now move our clocks to 10 years. Izuku is a fifteen year old test pilot, still aspiring to become a Hero. Melissa has grown to a fine, young woman with degrees in Robotics and Hero Support Gear. David is still the premiere Hero Suit and Equipment expert, while his loving wife, Inko Midoriya-Shield, is models costumes for Female Pro Heroes in Japan.

Chapter Text
Morning came to I-Island with a surprising level of peace.
That is to say, something in the I-Island mechanics lab didn't explode and cause the island to rumble. A regular occurrence as of late. No doubt it had to do with local island inventor, Melissa Shield's, support gear enthusiast from UA who had sent dozens upon dozens of schematics for her to examine and build.
Half of the schematics had one flaw or another that led to comically smoky explosions. Some scientists wondered if this 'Mei Hatsume' was sending schematics with the express desire to have their island's idol die via explosions.
Luckily, her little brother tended to be the one who tested the equipment. Did I say 'luckily'? I meant 'unfortunately with a side of...Midoriya-wants-to-choke-the-person-who-decided-it-was-smart-to-make-him-do-that'. Izuku Midoriya made it a mandatory habit to examine Hatsume's blueprints going forward; lest anymore incidents and possible injuries occur. Again.
But today was different. It was a sunny day in July. The sun was shining, there were few clouds in the sky, sea gulls flew by. Today was part of a very particularly special week in July.
From the Midoriya apartments, a young man stirs. His messy mop of green hair and freckled face gave him a very young appearance. But it was partially marred by a single large scar on his right cheek. A result of one of the tests for Mei Hatsume's gizmo schematics. Shrapnel was a painful result of the tests.
The room's wake up alarm finally got the green haired resident awake, much to his chagrin.
"Mmmmhhhhphh...Can't a guy get a good night's sleep? It's not even time for the test yet..." the young man, Izuku Midoriya whined. He rubbed his groggy eyes as the automated shutters to his windows opened, spilling sunlight into his bed chambers and fully awakening the young man. Again, to his chagrin.
"Alriiiiiight....I'm awake. Is Melissa awake yet?" Izuku grumbled. A holographic icon of the I-Island labs appeared.
[SALUTATIONS, MASTER MIDORIYA. LADY MELISSA HAS ALREADY AWOKEN OVER AN HOUR AGO. SHE HAS GONE TO THE TESTING FACILITY FOR YOUR SPECIAL TEST]
Izuku's face went to genuine surprise.
"The test?...Oh, the test! I almost forgot! Today's the day I test the Phantom!" Izuku snapped to himself. Jumping from his All-Might themed bed (because some things never change), showering himself; cooling down scars and scratches from previous testing days, Izuku put on his green/black piloting gear on (Think Dingo's gear from ZoE2) and rushed off.
For to the western side of the island, a large metal building with a sprawling, crater-filled field was prepping for equipment testing.
Leading the facility scientists, development teams and R&D for maintenance, was a young blonde woman. She wore square rimmed glasses, a white collared shirt underneath a light brown fleece vest. Her pants were cowgirl jeans and her footwear were dark red cowboy boots. This was Melissa Shield, age 17.
Melissa had grown to become quite the intellectual beauty. She filled out in ways that most girls dared to dream. Many young men, both with or without Quirks, found her quite desirable; save three details. Her father. Her mother. And most predominantly, her younger brother. Who knew being the sister to a Mechanically armored power suit wielding fighter could be so limiting in romantic prospects?
Speaking of younger siblings...
"Where is Izuku?! He should be here by now!" Melissa hissed under her breath. She tapped her feet impatiently as she waited for her brother to arrive, "We have to have this test done by noon hour. For God's sake, Mom will arrive soon!"
"MELISSA!!!" A voice yelled. Relief and then annoyance washed over the blonde woman as she saw her brother, Izuku rushing towards the facility.
"Izuku! What took you so long? The model's prepped for testing and you're late?" The blonde girl chastised as her brother slowed down, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.
"S-Sorry, sis. But c'mon! I'm here now, eh? Let's do this thing and we'll have everything ready for Mom's homecoming!" Izuku said, sweat-dropping before power walking to the Mech Armory.
"Haaahhh...What am I going to do with you?" Melissa muttered, shaking her head bemusedly.
"...Ask for help to get a decent boyfriend?" a voice said, smugly.
Melissa turned and saw her younger brother, mirthfully chuckling. The blonde's cheeks went red and she pouted.
"Get yer well-toned butt in the robot before I kick it in there!" Melissa shrieked. Izuku laughed as he ran to the launch station. Sensing small voices, Melissa noted that all of the scientists were just watching the siblings, "Excuse me? Don't you all have work stations to get to?".
The lab coats ran off in fright. Better to just pretend it never happened, then to mock their boss.
Meanwhile, Izuku entered the hangar. Inside were different suits and armors that have been tested over the past two or so years. The Wing Zero Gundam armor; which Midoriya broke when it turned out one of the staff members added one of Mei's inventions. Now it lies in the maintenance bay, being repaired and having the invention detached. It's wing pack was separated to clean out the thrusters.
Next to it was one of Izuku's favorite suits, the Nirvash, which unlike its TV counterpart, didn't need two pilots. In fact the back parts were given more powerful boosters and stabilizer components to fix the space. The leg parts were torn open to examine circuit dampening when the legs froze up in another test.
But in front of him, it's torso open for pilot entry, was a jet black armor. The armor; bulky and angular. Accented with gold and silver polymers. Its left arm had three handle bars jutting down the forearm. This armor...was called the Gespenst. Otherwise known as Phantom.
"...Looks better every time I see it. The best looking mech suit you've ever made, Sis." Izuku said, as he heard his sister's footsteps behind him. Feeling arms wrap around his waist, Izuku sighed.
"A special hug for my baby brother. You've become so big and strong, Izu. I'm proud to be your sister." Melissa said, softly.
"I know. Sorry, for ya know...being a pain to you for so long." The greenette whispered.
"You're still a pain in my butt, lil bro. But today's the first day in a great week. I'm sure." Melissa snarked, "Not git in that robot, Izu. We need to test our best mech yet."
"Alright, sis." Izuku said, slipping into the mech's suit, "But, I'm gonna need ya to play me some sick tunes to kick those drones' rear afts to."
Melissa scoffed, rolling her eyes.
"What would you like? Holy Diver or Live and Learn?" Melissa smirked. The suit's entire frame lit up as Izuku powered up. It's green visor lit up as it turned to face Melissa with a thumb's up.
"Surprise me, Mel!" Izuku replied, walking out to the field, "You've got the best taste in music on the island. I know you'll pick a goodie!"
Dashing forward, Izuku (in the Gespenst) saw a large squadron of green mechanical drones. Their cycloptic eye and singular vent gave them an air of menace as they lifted up heavy machine gun like weapons. Smirking, Izuku brandished a pair of large energy guns of his own.
"Okay...Zaku II drones today. Alright, let's tear it up! PLUS ULTRA!" Izuku roared.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Up in the air, in a luxury airplane for long distance tourism...
"I can't believe UA's sprung us all a trip I-Island!" A pink skinned girl cackled in joy, "After all the chaos we dealt with...this will be heavenly."
"Oh yeah! It'll be us having fun in the sun!" A voice popped from floating clothes, "I'm gonna get my tan on!"
"Uhhh...Tooru...How are you going to get a tan if you're--! Ya know what never mind." The pink girl attempted to argue.
Indeed, inside this particular plane were students of UA High. Primarily, Class 1-A, its teacher Shota Aizawa, Big Three Students, Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki and Nejire Hado. Also included to this trip were some surprise guests. Hero Class Teacher, All Might and UA's littlest addition to their repertoire, a little girl with white hair, red eyes and a tiny nub of a horn named Eri. The Big Three, Eri, Aizawa and All Might were at the front of the plane's seats.
"HA, HA, HA. How are you holding up there, Aizawa?" The burly teacher asked, boisterously. Turning to the tall man, the scruffy, shaggy underground hero just glared. He placed himself in a bright yellow sleeping bag as he kept his eyes on the taller teacher.
"Having to deal with these Problem Kids for a vacation is NOT my idea of vacation." Shota growled, before zipping up the whole thing.
All Might silently shook his head with mirth. Eraserhead himself was not a socialite.
"You DO know we're headed for I-Island, right?" All Might reminded the caterpillar.
"So? What's your point?" the muffled voice grumbled.
"We'll be seeing your 'favorite' pair of kids again..." All Might said, smugly. The zipper of the sleeping bag sped open with a scowling Aizawa looking at All Might with pure dread.
"You're telling me those two kids are on THAT island?!" Aizawa hissed.
"Indeed they are. I'm sure they'll be happy to see you again! HAHAHA!" All Might laughed. Aizawa groaned angrily. All the while, behind them was a green haired woman. A sunhat, large sunglasses and a floral style dress hid her entire frame from the older heroes. She smiled mischievously and giggled.
"So what's all the hubbub, All Might, sir? You sound as if you've met some people there?" The muscular teen, Mirio asked, smiling. Eri bounced on his knee lightly, still keeping a stoic face.
"Indeed I have, Young Togata. These children are actually the offspring of two friends of mine." All Might said, proudly, "Ahhhh...It warms my old heart to see how much they've grown over the years!" Tears starting to flow from his eyes as his smile intensified.
"...Who are dey?" The little girl, Eri asked quietly. All Might flinched as he realized he never said their names.
"W-Well, Young Eri, they are--!" All Might began.
"Izuku Midoriya-Shield and Melissa Midoriya-Shield." The woman interrupted, grabbing the front seated heroes and some students' attention. All Might froze briefly before turning over and seeing the woman.
Taking off her glasses, she placed the temple tip of her sunglasses, giving a seductive look. The taller, blonde hero recognized her instantly; along with Aizawa but he'd rather not deal with them right now.
"I-Inko? You're on this plane too?!" All Might whispered, fearing his voice could be too loud. Inko giggled and laughed.
"Long time no see, All Might. Or can I use your actual name here?" Inko asked, coyly. All Might boomed out a laugh that shocked Eri incredibly.
"It's good to see you again, my lady! Why I haven't see you since...ehhhh...?" All Might began before soon trailed off as his memory failed.
"Hehehe, since my family and I visited you a few years back. You're holding yourself quite well." Inko said, giving a knowing smirk. The aging symbol chuckled shyly and scratched the back of his head.
"Um...Who are you?" A small voice asked. Everyone near it honed to it. Inko, was surprised to see the little girl just looking at her with wide, curious eyes. She clutched her red sundress with an air of fear.
Inko smiled; this little girl reminded her so much of Izuku when he was that age before things worked out for the better.
"Hmm, hmm, hmm, my name is Inko Midoriya-Shield. The island we're all going is where my family works and lives at. And what's your name, sweetie?" Inko asked, gently.
"...Eri..." the little one answered, scuffing her foot on the ground. Inko smiled, and gently picked up the white haired child to the girl's surprise. Placing her on her lap, she smiled as Eri covered her mouth in shyness.
"That's a lovely name, dear. I apologize, but, where's your family?" Inko asked. Eri looked down.
"...My family hurt me." Eri replied. Inko went blank in confusion.
"Eri's family...whatever we could gather...Was not a happy life. Apparently, they experimented on her. That's why she has scars on her arms." All Might said, somberly.
Inko lifted the sleeves of the girl's shirt and saw them. Horrid, jagged scars littering the child's arms. Inko didn't show it, but, her motherly rage was permeating her very core.
"If it makes ya feel better, Inko..." Shota muttered, causing her to raise her angered visage to the Underground Hero, "One of my students found her and brought her to UA. We found out about her Quirk too. So, for her protection, Eri's under my supervision."
Inko felt relief as she gave the girl's small hand a gentle squeeze. Eri soon nuzzled into the mother as the trip was already exhausting her.
"Wow! I never expected Eri to be so comfy with new people." Nejire whispered, with a loving smile. Tamaki nodded in silence, sweating from being around so many people.
A few rows behind, the UA students were chattering amongst themselves. Some, about the trip they were on. Others, about their surprise guest on the plan. But, a few were just tired.
"Hey, are you alright?" a dark green haired girl with frog-like features asked.
"...Uh? Oh, sorry, Tsu-chan. I'm just...I'm just tired." the brunette groaned. The frog girl leaned on her brunette friend, a seeming smile on her face.
"I know it's not what you expected for this week. But, you have to admit..." Tsuyu said, "We all need the breathing time. And look, Eri seems to be having fun."
Tsuyu pointed to the slumbering child who nuzzled into the unknown woman's lap. All Might, The Big Three ad Aizawa all watching and smiling (even Aizawa smiled, softly).
"...She does look peaceful. Ever since we found her during my internship under Gunhead, she was slow to trust...anyone, really." the round cheeked girl whispered, smiling. The girl looked out the plane window.
As she observed the island that was in view, she saw lights and smoke emanating from a large field on the western side of the island.
"Hey! Something's happening on the island!" the brunette exclaimed loudly.
Everyone on both sides of the plane looked over her side of the windows. They saw a section of the island, smoking and flashing with lights.
"Whoa! Is the island under attack or something?!" a short girl in punk rock clothing inquired.
"Sure looks like it! What the hell? We're supposed to be on a vacation, Aizawa-Sensei!" A blonde boy in rocker clothing complained.
Everyone began to feel dread as the smoking billowed heavily.
"Everyone!" The woman's voice called out. The students all turned to her in surprise.
"Everything will be alright. That's a mechanical equipment training field for power suits." The woman said, picking up early and carrying her gently like a mother would their child.
"Forgive me for my sudden confusion, Madam! But how do you know about that location?" A taller young man, missing and arm and wearing glasses loudly asked. The woman shushed him, pointing to a snoozing Eri, who wriggled in her arms before settling down.
"My name is Inko Midoriya-Shield. My husband is the one responsible for leading and maintaining I-Island." The woman replied, a silky voice hiding an iron glance, "If I had to guess, the one causing those explosions would be--!"
"DEKU!!!! THAT BASTARD'S ON THE ISLAND! WHAT THE FUCK?!" A familiar, loud voice yelled in the passenger area, the shock waking Eri up with a start. Tears began to form before Inko gently soothed the girl to calm.
"What the-? Bakugo-kun! You know that lady's son?" the discovery girl asked, confused. The ash blonde boy grit his teeth as he glared at the island.
"Hell the fuck yeah! Damn it all! I thought that Quirkless, useless shit, Deku finally fucking died!" Bakugo grumbled loudly. Everyone cringed as they felt an aura of menace from the front of the passenger area.
"Katsuki Bakugo!" the woman called out, causing Bakugo to actually flinch, "You will never refer to my son as 'useless' or any derogatory term ever in my presence or anyone's presence ever!". She stood tall, glaring daggers at the ash blonde boy. To all of the class's surprise, he submitted and nodded as he stomped back to his seat.
"Wow...Didn't expect sparky boomer to just accept someone else's authority." Kaminari noted. Bakugo growled and glared at everyone.
The female student was quickly becoming curious of this 'Inko' person and walked up to her. The green haired woman took note of the young brunette and moved a seat over.
"Hey there, young lady. What's your name?" Inko asked, smiling.
"My name's Ochako Uraraka. I'm a student from UA--Like most of these guys here. Sorry, 'bout Bakugo-kun, he's...well he's Bakugo-kun." Ochako revealed, cringing at Bakugo's outburst.
"Ha! It's okay, sweetheart. I've dealt with Katsuki when he was a toddler." Inko said, before leaning over and whispering, "I still have baby pictures of him. I have those on standby as blackmail material to shut him up if he badmouths my babies.".
Ochako sputtered into an uncontrollable giggling fit. Bakugo baby pictures? That was too good to be true.
"If he ever gives you a hard time...Tell him you have me on speed dial. And I can send you the pictures." Inko whispered, giggling herself, "He'll know not to mess with you, hon."
"Oh my goodness! Ms. Inko! You're evil!" Another voice said behind the pair. Looking up is the pinkette, Mina Ashido.
"Oh? And you are?" Inko asked, smirking.
"Name's Mina Ashido! I'm a classmate of our chubby cheeked girl here." Mina said, smiling brightly as she poked Uraraka's cheek, much to the brunette's inner chagrin. But a question was on her mind.
"Um...Not to be mean, Ms. Inko..." Ochako began.
"Oh please, Young Ochako. Call me Inko." The mother said, smiling.
"O-Okay, Inko. Anyway...was what Bakugo-kun said true? Your son is...Quirkless?" Ochako asked, nervously. Inko gave a small smile and sighed.
"Indeed. My boy's Quirkless. And so is my step-daughter, Melissa." Inko replied, "But my babies have never been ones to let such things keep them from wanting to fulfill their dreams."
"Really? What do they look like? Is this 'Deku' boy--!" Mina asked, before Inko glared at her.
"My son's name is Izuku. Not. Deku." Inko hissed, "That name is given to my son by that...Bakugo as a means to degrade my boy."
"O-Oh! S-Sorry, Ms. Midoriya. I d-didn't mean to..." Mina winced. Inko sighed in calmness.
"It's alright, young lady. It's been too long since anyone's called my son that name. I'm obviously...a little protective of my boy."
"Hey, no problem. If you want us to call your precious boy 'Izuku', we'll do just that!"
"I...dunno. Not to be mean, Ms. Midoriya, but...I kinda like that name. It's really cute sounding. It has this 'You Can Do Anything' sort of vibe to it. Like the word 'Dekiru'!"
Inko looked at the shy brown haired student with surprise. That is a different style of her son's name she never considered. Then again, when you're told your son's 'nickname' means 'useless'...protective instincts kick in.
"Well...if you want to refer to my son like that, you should run by what you told me." Inko said, softly, "My son may just be okay with it. Just...again, run it by him first. You call him that, you aren't going to get a second date."
"Yeah...." Ochako said, wistfully, before suddenly, "Wait, WHAT?! That wasn't my intent at all! I don't even know him!"
"Well you're about to in a second because..." Inko said, smirking, pointing out the window, "That's him right there, hehehehehehe!"
Mina and Ochako looked at each other before gazing out the window, to see a large, black armored robotic man flying alongside their window.
Both girls screamed as everyone around them soon saw the metal warrior flying adjacent to the plane by Inko's seat. The green haired woman smiled and waved, getting a response in kind. Before flying off, it took note of Ochako and suddenly the mech staggered before flying away.
"...THAT was your son?" Mina asked, getting a nod from the pilot's mother, "And he was looking at you, Chako. Looks like you've captured somebody's attention~!".
The brown haired girls cheeks turned bright red and buried her face in her palms. This was going to be a long vacation.
BACK AT MIDORIYA HIMSELF...
Landing heavily in the middle of the island gardens, people saw the obsidian, mechanical titan on its hands and legs. Like it was trying to dry heave.
Inside the suit, Izuku was freaking the heck out. Just who was that little girl in his mother's arms? And who was that chocolate haired vision that was next to her?!
And why the hell was his heart rate NOT SLOWING DOWN!
'Deep breaths, Midoriya. C'mon, remember the deep breathing!' Midoriya mentally scolded as suddenly, he had something clang against the top of the mech's helmet. It opened, causing a confused Midoriya to wince as bright sunlight blinded him. Once his vision fixed itself, he saw it was Melissa, her face full of worry.
"Izu! Oh thank God! You're okay!" Melissa sobbed, "I thought you were having a panic attack or a seizure or something! What happened up there?! One moment, you did the whole test with flying colors! Next thing I knew, you flew up to Mom's airliner; and your pulse, heart rate and brain wave activity just SKY-ROCKETED! What happened to you, little brother?!"
"I...I don't know..." Izuku replied, "But...I don't feel...bad? What is wrong with me?"
"Wait, let me check your visor's camera system..." Melissa noted. She plugged a tablet she had with her into the helmets' visor system. As she watched footage of her brother nearing the plane, she saw Izuku's visor focus on their mother with the child, and then the girl with brown eyes, brown hair and round, blush marked cheeks in the UA travel attire.
Melissa looked at her panic stricken brother and realized all of his signs. And smirked.
"Well, well...Little bro..."
"W-What? What's up, Mel?"
Melissa patted her brother's head and smiled. But it was an evil smile.
"Looks like someone's been hit by Cupid's Arrow..."
"C-C-C-Cupid's...A-Arrow?! What the heck is that?"
"Sorry, little bro. I'm gonna let you figure that out!"
Melissa picked up the helmet and placed it back on Izuku's head.
"Mom's gonna land in a few minutes. C'mon! She's going to want to see you immediately after that little fiasco." Melissa said, being sympathetic.
"T-This feeling...whatever this `Cupid's Arrow` is...I'm not; ya know...gonna die?" Izuku asked, still mid-freakout.
Melissa just stared blankly at her brother in powerful armor. Suddenly, she giggled.
"D-D-Don't w-w-w-worry-y-y-y-y! Hihihihihihihi...You'll be fine, Izu! Now hurry up! Mom's a-waiting, bro!" Melissa said, winking as she skipped off.
Izuku just took a moment wonder. He's never acted like that before. Why did his chest go crazy when he saw that cute girl? CUTE?! What was happening to him? He's never had those thoughts before.
'Am I going crazy?'
Notes:
I gave the Midoriyas their own apartments (Izuku has one, Melissa has one, and the parents get their own) on I-Island cuz I thought it'd be neat. A show of giving their kids some independence from them at their young adult stages.
I feel like I'm turning All Might into freaking Alex Armstrong here...All the times I've put comical tears in his eyes and bone crushing bear hugs...Kinda fitting to be honest.
Also, Eri's here despite continuity because who don't love little Eri? And yes she will have a role in the plot...I mean, aside from being the cutest thing in the damn story line.
Chapter 3: The Midoriyas Meet Class 1-A, and a couple of reunions (One that some don't want to happen)
Summary:
The Midoriyas try to get introduced to Class 1-A. But, Izuku meets a familiar face he wished he didn't see. And Aizawa nearly has a fit. Business as usual.
Notes:
I'm sorry about the Cupid's Arrow bit in Chapter 2. I was kinda dumb there.
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Text
It took moments before Izuku Midoriya's heart calmed down.
And mere seconds to realize what his sister meant by 'Cupid's Arrow'. He facepalmed when he realized what that phrase meant.
'Ya gotta be kidding me. Who forgets what Cupid's Arrow means?' Izuku mentally scolded, 'Note to self, smash head into wall for a solid minute.'
He was in the air to meet his sister at the airfield where the plane that had his mother and that girl in it. As he reached the field, however, he saw a familiar bright yellow man, in a yellow suit with a bright smile.
A bright, mischievous smile formed.
'Welp. I've been meaning to test out the kick. And he's always up for a laugh.'
He fly straight up, to charge up his entrance. Little did he know, he was watched from the ground by his target.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All Might gave a toothy grin as he stared skyward.
"Uncle Might?" a voice came from under his view. Looking down, he saw a smiling blonde girl with glasses beaming.
"HA, HA! MELISSA, MY DEAR! IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!" All Might yelled, boisterously as he picked up the 'normal' sized woman in his arms.
The pair laughed as a large group of teenagers stood, stunned. Aizawa grimaced.
"...If she's here...her brother's not far behind...Oh I'm feeling gray hairs forming." Aizawa cringed.
"Shota-san, you have nothing to worry about. Izuku's matured quite well since he was a 5 year old." Inko stated, attempting to calm the shabby hero.
"Why don't I believe that?" Aizawa argued, looking up as he wondered what All Might was smiling about before seeing Melissa.
Aside from them, the students of Class 1-A stood shocked at All Might's familiarity with the young girl.
"Wow. I didn't expect All Might-Sensei to be so friendly with that girl..." Tsuyu said, confused as All Might hugged the girl with loud laughter.
"Possibly, but that woman from the plane; the one with Aizawa-Sensei, said that that girl was her daughter. And All Might seemed to know her quite well." Todoroki said, cupping his chin in thought.
"Todoroki; what are you getting at? Old friends maybe?" Momo asked, walking next to the red-white haired student.
"No. Love child." Todoroki stated, bluntly.
"I-I'm sorry, but...say that again, Icy-Hot?" Sero asked, confused.
"That girl; Melissa is All Might and that woman's love child." Todoroki explained, closing his eyes and crossing his arms; nodding at his deduction.
"...Small problem with that theory, Todoroki." A gravelly voice droned as it grew nearer. Opening his eyes, Todoroki saw his teacher looming over him. Next to him was a thoroughly confused Inko Midoriya.
"Inko married the girl's biological father when she was roughly 7 years old. Her own son, Izuku Midoriya, was 5 at that point. Neither of them were fathered by All Might." Aizawa argued, glaring at the boy, "If either were...I'd have jumped off a roof a long time ago."
"...I sense some hostility between you and All Might. Care to elaborate, Shota-kun?" Inko asked, giggling.
"...Guys like him and Mic are loud, obnoxious and probably don't remember the names of the people he saves." Aizawa replied, growling, "Guy's so proud of his loudmouth heroics, he's probably never just walked around like a normal person in his life."
"Given All Might's rank and status, that would be nearly impossible to do." Momo commented, thinking on the subject, "To even leave his own home, he'd have to disguise his appearance constantly. And his personality and tendencies to intercede in villain conflicts makes it hard for him to even act like a civilian at all."
"Yes, but my family and All Might have visited each other a few times in the past." Inko said, sweetly, "My babies love visiting their 'Uncle Might'. He's been quite the positive influence on them. Now if Izuku would KINDLY get his keister down from the Troposphere, I'd want a hug from my boy."
"T-Troposp-sphere?!" The class yelled. Only Bakugo snorted. He couldn't believe the little green shit could be in the troposphere.
"Hey, All Might?" Inko called, being way more casual than the kids expect.
"I know, Inko-chan! I know! He's already comin' down!" All Might said, smiling, "Full speed, I might add...Melissa?"
"Brother coming down?"
"Yup."
"Full speed Gespenst Kick, I assume?"
"Most definitely."
"......Launch me."
With that, All Might chuckled before tossing Melissa straight up into the air.
"...........GESPENST!!!" a voice echoed loudly in the air.
"Alright, m'boy! Show me that you've improved!"
"KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
The students soon saw the black robot dropping from the sky at extreme velocities, red flames surrounding its body, posed in a dive kick. Before any of them could react, the robot collided with full force into All Might. A massive cloud of smoke enveloped the area. Guests who were uninvolved with the class and UA staff were coughing and waving their hands to avoid the smoke.
Aizawa just glared while Inko smiled. To the kids concern, they realized that this was apparently a normal occurrence to them.
Soon, the smoke cleared. To the students' shock, All Might was laughing uproariously as he held the robot playfully. He gave the robot a noogie as the pilot laughed and yelled 'Uncle!' to get him to release him.
"Ha, hahaha! Young Midoriya, your skills in these mechanical frames has improved so greatly over the years!" All Might jested, "Still...you can't catch this old Hero off guard!"
"Hehehe, worth a shot, Uncle. Oh, uh...?" Izuku chuckled before pointing up.
"Oh right. One second..." All Might said, before extending his arm out and Melissa landed softly into his hand; smiling brightly despite her disheveled hair, "How was your flight, m'dear?"
"It was great. I think you threw me higher than last time. Nice predicting my landing by the way." Melissa replied, giggling as she wobbled out of her large uncle's hand.
"Well...You don't get to be the Number One Hero without knowing about handling airborne people, sweetheart." All Might replied, smiling.
Melissa looked at her brother still in the Gespenst unit. She smirked and Izuku realized what she was about to do.
"So...Izuku...Get the arrow outta your butt?" Melissa asked, "Or do we need a special assistant to fix you up?"
"Melissa...Remember that time I promised I wouldn't embarrass you in front of Mom...or in the general public? Ever?" Izuku deadpanned back, "I can revoke that this minute and not be ashamed of myself."
Melissa giggled as she walked past her brother to their mother. Smiling, the pair hugged tenderly.
Izuku, himself walked up to hug his mother, only for her to stop him.
"Honey, hugs are nice but maybe when you're not in a mech suit?" Inko said, giving an amused smirk.
"Oh! S-Sorry, Mom." The younger greenette stuttered. The suit opened and he looked at his mother with a shy smile.
"Okay, sweetie. Give your mother a big ol' hug!" Inko said, a proud smile on her face. The pair embraced, small tears on the verge of releasing, "I missed you all. Have you been good for your sister?"
"I've been just fine. Sis and I have been great." The younger Midoriya said, smiling.
"He was nearly late for the test today." Melissa shot back, her face serious and dry. Izuku turned, giving the girl the stink eye. Melissa gave a sweet face, but stuck her tongue out; teasing him.
Back with the students...
"That's the guy who flew in the robot? Seems kinda..." Sero began.
"...Plain?" Kaminari finished, getting a jab from Jirou in annoyance.
"Shut it, Jamming Whey." Jirou hissed.
"Ya gotta admit, kid's pretty manly to not only pilot a robot body-thing, but to take a shot at ALL MIGHT of all people?" Kirishima said, in awe of the sight.
"Well then, babe? Let's all introduce ourselves to the local 'Hero'?" Mina exclaimed as the students began to gather to the family. Bakugo being close behind; fuming in anger.
"Oh! Izuku. Melissa. These are students of Class 1-A at UA High. And guess who's teaching 'em." Inko said, smirking at the shabby hero, nervously looking aside.
"Hey! Long time no see, Aizawa-san! Haven't seen you since Mel and I were little kids." Izuku exclaimed, "How is Aunt Em--!"
"Finish that sentence and you'll be doing 10 flips every hour, upon the hour, for the duration of my class's visit to your island, kapiche?" Aizawa growled, glaring at the green boy.
"Hey! You have no power over me here! I'm not a 5 year old boy anymore!" Izuku said, pointing a finger at the teacher, "C'mon! What about Present Mic? How's HE doing?"
"Oh? He's fine. But, ten flips now!" Aizawa order, cheekily giving a smug grin.
"No way! Mom, he's not allowed to do that in front of his students, right?" the greenette asked, nervously, "I mean--I'm a young adult, independent of him, right?"
"You're right, sweetheart." Inko replied, as Izuku relaxed, "But I can make you do that. So...let's see 10 flips. I haven't seen you doing your exercises for a long while, it's good practice."
"MOM! Seriously?!" Izuku gasped, "All Might, can you--?!"
"Sorry, Young Midoriya...You know as well as I do, never argue with Inko." All Might said, giving a sympathetic pat on Izuku's shoulder, "But, take heart, I'll watch you."
Sighing, Izuku grimaced as he moved to the side and made his first flip attempt; only because of the suit's constricting some of his movements, Izuku fell flat on his face with a groan. Bakugo barked a laugh.
"Young Midoriya, that suit seems to constrict your flipping ability. Why not take it off?" All Might asked, worriedly.
The girls of UA (Tooru and Mina, in particular) blushed at the idea of this new, cute boy stripping down to show his body; just to do some back flips.
"No! You kidding me?! There's people present, Uncle Might!" Izuku hissed, "Your students!"
"Then maybe remove the top half? That should be enough." All Might said, rubbing the back of his neck.
Izuku did just that, unzipped the top half of the pilot suit, revealing his torso to the students. They all collectively gasped. His body was built. Years of training, piloting with heavy mech suits and personal martial arts studies in a holo-deck dojo made him reasonably built for his age.
The students were impressed. Izuku began his flips again and they noted his motions.
"Hey, 'Chako!" Mina whispered into Ochako's ear as she stared dumbstruck by this mystery boy. She nodded to the pink skinned girl, still gawking at Izuku's abs.
"You've got yourself a real hottie for yourself." Mina teased, remembering Inko's approval of Ochako over asking her son on a date. Ochako squeaked and placed both hands on her face, causing her to float.
Tsuyu used her tongue to pull her back down before she floated too far. Ochako released her Quirk and just stared with a red face over at the boy; who was preoccupied with his fifth flip.
"C'mon, Ochako-chan..." Tsuyu croaked, "Mina-chan, stop teasing her."
"Ahhh, c'mon, Tsu! It's good for her to develop a crush." Mina snarked, "Personally...'bout time! She's been cooped up at the class for weeks since the Sports Festival. She needs to have fun!"
"I do have fun, Mina!" Ochako hissed, narrowing her eyes, "I just have a different set of fun than you do. Like reading books, actually passing class and oh yeah, not getting yelled at by Aizawa."
Mina shrugged with a smirk, "Meh, but we're still friends in the end, right?"
Ochako sighed and nodded, "Yeah, we still are...ya crazy dunce."
"Um...has anyone seen Eri? She just van--! Oh, she's over--Huh?" Shoji asked until he saw the little girl standing next to where Izuku was flipping; now he was on his last one.
Izuku was walked back to his starting point and made his beginning stance. But as he crouched down to make his flip, he saw a little white haired girl with red eyes, watching and mimicking his movements.
Pausing himself, he gazed into the tiny visitor's eyes who matched his gaze with child-like wonder.
"Uuuuh...who are you, little missy?" Izuku asked, smirking.
"Eri." She replied, mimicking his smirk. Izuku blushed; this kid was adorable.
"Cute smile, kiddo. Gimme a sec." Izuku said, before focusing on his flip, finally completing his ten flips. As he looked up, he saw Eri sitting on her bum, as if she just tried to do what he did but didn't know how.
"Trying to a do a flip, too, 'Snow White'?" Izuku asked, gently. Eri nodded, looking disappointed in herself.
"Wanted to do what you were doing. Looked fun." Eri whimpered. Izuku and All Might smiled.
"Here. Just for one time, I help you do a flip." Izuku whispered, grabbing her by the waist.
The students saw as he whispered instructions and he positioned himself behind her and lifting her over him and flipped her around to make her look like she did a super backflip.
Eri's eyes lit up and she clapped in excitement. Ochako smiled and walked up to the pair.
"That was really impressive, Eri!" Ochako said, beaming, "That looked fun! If you ever wanna do that again, I'll help you out. Okay?"
"Okay! Papa was really nice!"
If there was a record, it'd be grinding to a sudden halt as everyone collectively shouted, "PAPA?!"
"Um...Why 'Papa', sweetie?" Ochako asked, blushing intensely.
"Because he's nice, strong and funny! He'd be my Papa, like you're my Mama!" Eri said, cheerily. Ochako's face went bright pink as Izuku's face turned tomato red.
"WHAT?! FUCKING DEKU TRIES TA GIT LAID B'FORE ME! FUCK THAT!" A loud voice roared around the area.
Izuku cringed and put his suit back up to fully set. Some of the girls actually groaned at the loss of seeing his abs.
"...That's not who I think it is...right?" Izuku asked, shuddering as he looked at the brunette who made his pulse go insane.
Stomping past everyone, was Katsuki Bakugo, seething and gritting his teeth as he approached. Getting between the trio and Bakugo was Melissa who frowned.
"Katsuki Bakugo, you will not go near my brother and you will NOT--! Wait-what the-hey!" Melissa ordered, before stammering as Bakugo grabbed her, lifted her up and simply put her aside from him. He continued to stomp forward.
"That was the most polite I've ever seen Bakugo ever act. Not a high margin to bypass, but, impressive." Kirishima muttered.
"What the fuck are you doing here, Deku?!" Bakugo growled. Izuku felt offended.
"I live here. I have every right to be here." Izuku replied, harshly. Bakugo's hands opened and small explosions popped, "What? You trying to scare me? First time in like, a decade and you're starting up old habits?"
"You should fear me, ya little shit. You think you're so great? Lookin' down on me with that hunk of scrap shit?" Bakugo hissed. Izuku's face went blank; offended at his sister's robot being insulted.
"Don't insult my sister's best work!" Izuku growled, his temper flaring.
If he were his 4 year old self, he'd be cowering, but, now, he finds Bakugo like a regular bully; a punk with a need for an attitude adjustment.
"I'll insult whatever I want and whoever I want...Fuckin' shitty, Deku!" Bakugo growled, smirking evilly, "This girl will see through your shit, you worthless, shitty, Qu--!"
*WHAM*
The students, All Might (who still smiled but it was more of an 'oh no' smile), Aizawa, Melissa, Inko and Eri all gasped as Izuku, in a rage, uppercut Bakugo a few meters away from him.
Bakugo clutched his head as he laid on the ground, slowly getting up before getting a foot stomped to his chest. He grunted and glared, Deku was looking down at him with an anger he never expected the little shit to have. When did he grow a pair?
"I'm going...to say this once." Deku said, his voice low and barely calm.
"O-Ohh....And what's that shit-head?" The ash blonde grunted.
"You're on my family's island. This island's monitored and all activities are noted." Izuku explained, "If you insult me; fine. Whatever. But, insult my sister and her work. You're gone. You insult my Dad and HIS work. You're gone. Any harassment. You are done."
Stepping off Bakugo, Izuku turned and saw everyone's shocked faces. Up until that moment, he was being cheeky but nice. It took a minute with Kacc--No! Bakugo, to get him to ruin the mood.
"...I'll take Phantom back to the Training Field, Melissa. Sorry I ruined the introductions." Izuku said, quietly. He trudged to Gespenst and entered the suit. He flew off without warning or farewells.
"Bah! Good riddance ta bad--HRK!" Bakugo began before his body was wrapped in bandages; or more accurately, capture tape.
"Bakugo. While Izuku gave his warning in terms of HIS home, mind you, as a student of UA; you are bound to certain rules and regulations when dealing with civilians and vacation hosts." Aizawa said, his voice louder than anyone would guess.
"If you perform anymore of this behavior; not only will YOU be sent home. But, EVERYONE will get sent home." The teacher stated, firmly.
"Wait, WHAT?!"
"C'mon, teach, not cool!"
"So, if Bakugo screws up like this again, we're all sent HOME?"
"God dammit, Bakugo! Don't you dare mess this up for us all!"
"...Jeez, this is tiring me out. So, should he be on the leash?"
"B-But, I wanna see the hot babes! I wanna get a Harem started here!"
"Shut up, grape fruit! God!"
"This is not what I was expecting today."
Aizawa groaned and turned to Inko, "I'm sorry we messed up everything right now. If you want, we can make the introductions later?"
Inko sighed and nodded, "Y-Yes. I also apologize for Izuku's outburst. Even if it was well deserved. I'll see if David can set us all up for a big buffet dinner with your class and All Might."
"Much appreciated. Still, I'm keeping Bakugo on a tight leash. Mirio and Shinsou. You're in charge of keeping Bakugo from any 'untoward'
Aizawa motioned for the students to go to the hotel. Eri felt disappointed that Izuku couldn't stay and that 'Uncle Kaka' made her pseudo-Papa leave. Ochako picked her up and gave a sympathetic smile.
"It's okay, Eri. We'll see him again, sweetie. For now, let's get set up in a room." Ochako said, gently as she held the little girl close.
Lastly, Mirio walked up to Melissa and All Might and bowed. He was briefly stunned at first by how cute Melissa was, before resuming his smiling nature.
"Sorry 'bout Baku-boy. Guy really needs to find some zen or something, I swear." Mirio said, smiling shyly.
"More like needs to see a shrink for his overblown ego and inferiority-superiority complex." Melissa deadpanned. Mirio grinned at the imagery. All Might coughed.
"Young Melissa. This is Mirio Togata. He's my...hmm, what's the word for it..." All Might began, stumbling over himself, "My apprentice."
"You mean, you found your successor, Uncle Might?" Melissa said, grinning, "Kinda figured. Nighteye sent me an email saying he finally got you to listen to him. Honestly, he was worried you were gonna pick me or Izuku."
"Would it have been bad if I did you or your little brother after telling you all the truth?" All Might asked, disheartened by the feeling of disappointing his honorary family.
"I would have refused. I wanna be a scientist, Uncle Might. But I think Izuku would be more tempted." Melissa said, wistfully, "But, baby brother still remembers your challenge to prove you wrong."
"Wrong about what?" Mirio asked, curious. He was surprised the Midoriya-Shield family knew All Might's secret.
"That Izuku couldn't be a Hero without a Quirk. To be frank, I'm a bit on the fence about it." Melissa explained, "But he's grown stronger. His piloting skills in the suits are top notch and he's got his foot in the door with a couple of agencies, Stateside."
"Really? That's impressive. Any I know?" All Might asked, proud of the younger Midoriya's progress.
"Hahahaha!" Melissa laughed, causing Mirio to blush, "I'll tell you guys at the dinner. You guys get settled. Um...Bye there...Um...Mi-Mirio....Um, yeah, bye! I gotta ch-check on Izuku."
Mirio blushed turned darker as she ran off.
"You know, Young Togata..." All Might began, catching the younger blonde attention.
"Y-Yes, All Might, sir?" Mirio stuttered, feeling rather small now.
"If you hurt her...I won't help you when her parents and brother come calling." All Might said, smirking like Aizawa.
"Wh-Wh-Wha-what do you m-mean, hurt her?!" Mirio asked, shocked as All Might walked off laughing. Mirio called for his mentor and teacher to explain as he rushed off to catch up.
AT THE TRAINING FACILITY...
Izuku was in a ball sobbing.
Ten years. Ten years and after so long, Bakugo's words still affected him.
Izuku lashed out at the worst time in front of everyone. His mother. His sister. His 'Uncle'. Even the sweet little girl and the brown haired girl who seemed so nice.
"How are you going to handle being around them all now? Stupid! Stupid!" Izuku quietly scolded, "He's freaking right! I am a Deku for screwing it up..."
Izuku curled himself further as he scolded himself.
Ten years...and all of his time trying to move on from the past...feels wasted to him.
How was going to get that girl to talk to him now?
Would she be okay if he was Quirkless? Most girls never paid him any mind aside from being polite and friendly. None of them ever showed interest.
This was a problem he had no idea now...how to answer.
Notes:
And because it's a low brow gag. Todoroki the Conspiracy Theorist returns...because F*** IT, it's not Todoroki if he didn't do it once.
If anyone's seen Secret of the Ooze, Izuku's 10 flips moment should be familiar.
AND BOMBSHELL DROPPED!

Chapter Text
The Class 1-A crew were shown to an ornate and state of the art Hotel on I-Island. It was the ritziest, most elegant and impressive tourist housing locale in all of the island.
"WOW! This place is really huge!" Kaminari gasped. He looked up to the ceiling, feeling an extreme sense of vertigo and concern, "Suddenly, I feel VERY tiny."
"Now you know how I feel..." Mineta mumbled as he skulked by.
The girls all checked in and saw the magnificent hotel rooms they got. Momo already pulled out the evening dress wear for them as she bought them for the trip.
"Dude! Yaomomo, you really went all out!" Mina chirped, smiling.
"I wanted to be sure I had the right sizes and styles for each of you. I apologize if some may not fit properly." Momo said, gracefully.
"No biggie, Mo! We got our own dresses too, just in case!" Tooru beamed as she bounced with the dress Momo brought for her, "I'm gonna try this on! Are we sure this dinner's black tie or super formal?"
"As we will be dining with the hosts of I-Island, I assume it must be." Momo replied, sternly, "We must look our best as representatives of UA High!"
"Too right, Mosie! After all, Chako's gotta look her best for that green haired Adonis~!" Mina said, smirking as Ochako was staring at her night dress.
"Wha-HUH?! Mina! Don't say that kinda stuff!" Ochako whined, "We're here for School stuff! Not for me!"
"Oh, c'mon, Ochako! You need some fun! This could be your chance at a Summer Romance!" Mina argued, smiling, "You really need to let loose!"
"More like lose my lunch. C'mon! Midoriya's been on this island since who knows how long." Ochako snarked, "For all we know he could already have a girlfriend."
"That's why you should ask! At the dinner, you are gonna sit next to him!" Mina announced, "You'll ask him if he's gotta girlfriend and go from there! At the very least, show you're interested!"
Ochako sighed as she noticed a quiet Eri looking out the window. Walking over, she saw that the little girl was staring intently at the battlefield that she assumed 'Deku' came from.
"Looking for something, sweetie?" Ochako whispered.
"Hm! I'm looking for Mr. Deku!" Eri replied, loudly. The girls all turned and heard her.
"Why are ya lookin' for him, kiddo?" Mina asked, genuinely curious.
"Cuz he seemed nice! And his robot suit was neat!" Eri replied.
The girls saw minor explosions from the field; a clue that Midoriya must have resumed his exercises.
"Jeesh! That green haired dork doesn't tire!" Jirou hissed, "I can hear the blasts and 'kabooms' from here!"
Momo walked to the window and created a pair of binoculars for her to use.
"Well, let me look!...My goodness!" Momo gasped, causing shocked reactions from the teen girls.
"What?! Momo, talk to us!" Tooru squawked!
"If that is indeed Midoriya, I believe he's...venting some aggression on those strange battle drones." Momo explained, hesitantly. She gave the binoculars to Mina, who instantly turned and shrieked as she saw the carnage in the distance!
"Man! Midoriya's hauling butt! He's blasting those weird cyclopto-robots with an arm mounted BLASTER!" Mina gasped, as she saw Midoriya in the distance.
"Lemme see! Lemme see!" Eri pleaded, causing Mina to give her the binoculars and look, "Wow! He's super strong and fast! I think he can beat Mr. Baku easily!"
"Hold on! I'm sending a text to Kiri! He needs to see this! Mo, can you make--?" Mina began, only to be given another set of binoculars.
"Go take them to your 'Horn Buddy'. We're pretty occupied here." Momo said, deadpan.
Mina hugged her raven haired friend and dashed off with her dress and the binocs.
"I have never seen armor like his before. Stocky, yet flexible. Armored, yet not encumbering. The thrusters on his back shooting out a stream of energy like a scarf? I've never seen technology like that before."
A sudden knock at the door caused Tsuyu to open and reveal a sullen Tenya Iida.
"I have come here to see if you are all getting prepared for the festivities tonight." Tenya said, droning.
"Iida! You okay!...I mean...!" Ochako asked, before remembering. Tenya soon clutched his shoulder where his left arm was. He hunched over in shame as memories returned.
"I...I have been better, Uraraka. What are you all looking at outside?" Tenya asked, confused.
"Oh! Mr. Deku's fighting robots! He's moving so fast! I can't see him half the time!" Eri replied, cheerily.
"Mr...Who?" Teny asked, looking at Uraraka.
"Midoriya! He's in another battle suit and blasting some robots!" Tooru interrupted.
"I see. I will have to ask him what his suit uses for materials...Maybe it can fix my costume." Iida said, solemnly.
"If I had read the files on I-Island correctly, Iida...This place has the foremost experts on robotic prosthesis. Maybe they could--!" Momo began.
"No!" Tenya refused, harshly, causing the girls to turn.
"...Forgive me, but...no. The loss of my arm...is punishment. I nearly got Native killed. Had it not been for my Mentor, Manual rescuing us...Stain would have ended the Ingenium name permanently." Tenya said, clutching his shoulder tightly.
"But! It's cuz he hurt your brother that you went to catch him!" Eri whimpered.
"Yes! But, my pride nearly got me and another person killed. I lost my position as Class Vice President...and feel woefully pathetic." Iida grumbled, "I should go. I need to make sure the boys in our class aren't defacing our class's reputation. As you all were."
Iida trudged out to make sure the boys were taken care of, since Mina left.
"I missed Iida's loud personality. Ever since the Internships, he's been less weird and more like Aizawa." Tsuyu noted, tilting her head.
"I know. Anyways, let's get ready for the party! After seeing this preview of his skills, I actually do wish to ask the young man some questions. I hope Midoriya will be attending the party!" Momo said, smiling as they changed into formal dresses.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY BROTHER WON'T BE ATTENDING THE PARTY?!" Melissa shrieked from her office.
"I'm s-sorry, Ma'am! Young Midoriya insisted on testing out the CMX armor before retiring to his chambers." The scientist on the line replied, nervously.
"We spent enough time testing out the Gespenst. Get his kiester OUT of the CMX armor before I come over there and drag his freckled backside to the nearest changing room! Pronto and on the double!" Melissa ordered, angrily hissing at the end.
The line cut off as Melissa sagged into her chair. She sighed as she knew WHY her little brother would want to avoid the party. A certain obnoxious as--Pomeranian was going to be there and it would spoil his already well done growth.
Her office room door opened revealing three individuals. Uncle Might, in his buff form, Mirio Togata; who seemed rather red in his face (Will ask about that later), and...HIM.
"Uncle Might! Mr. Togata!...You...Why is HE in my office?!" Melissa asked, dropping her formalities.
All Might coughed nervously while Mirio messed with his collar. Bakugo just scoffed and rolled his eyes. Melissa glared harder as if her eyes had LASER VISION. God, she wishes she had that Quirk for herself. But, no...Some guy named Summers in New York had THAT power.
"Young Bakugo has something he'd like to say to you." All Might stated, somewhat shyly.
"Whatever he has to say, I don't wanna hear. His little shitstorm upset my brother and he's trying to avoid the dinner tonight and I'm liable to avoid it to comfort him." Melissa replied, harshly.
"Huh! Guess Deku's still a--!" Bakugo began, before suddenly, a bunch of GUN TURRETS popped out of the office walls. Everyone looked about and saw a menacing aura around Melissa.
"These are Capture Turrets. Specially designed to paralyze and tether anyone who has the gall to cause a fight or attempt villainous assaults in my office." Melissa explained, pulling her best Gendo impression, "These puppies are meant to be strong enough to give even Uncle Might a hard time. If I hear you badmouth my baby brother, they WILL be used on you with extreme prejudice."
"FUCKING HELL! Why is everyone defending that little shit! He thinks he can be a Hero, but, ain't got a Quirk! It's a fucking pipe dream and everyone knows it!" Bakugo yelled back.
"...Izuku's been trained by several Pro Heroes, actually. He's a Red Belt in Ansatsuken Martial Arts under Ken Masters, he's learned combat flight maneuvers under War Machine; you know? Of the Avengers? He's also spent time interning with Stark Technologies under Pepper Potts, who is now my idol and mentor." Melissa explained.
"You're tellin' me Deku's been actually doin' Hero shit?" Bakugo asked, concerned.
"He's part timed repairing the machinery at the Young Avengers Academy. He wants to complete testing of my Mobile Suit projects here before he's ready to debut as the next Armored Hero." Melissa replied, calmly. She recalled the turrets as the trio sighed in relief.
"S-So..." Mirio began, gathering Melissa's smiling attention, "Will De--*Sees Melissa's aura return for a second*--I-Izuku! Izuku, sorry! Will your brother be attending the dinner party?"
"Oh! He will. As soon as I'm done with scolding his butt for being insubordinate." Melissa replied, before grumbing. She perked up however, "Wanna talk to him, Mr. Togata?"
"S-Sure! Do you mind, All Might, sir?" Mirio asked, sweating a bit. All Might smirked and nodded.
"Go have a great time, kids! Don't do anything I wouldn't do~!" All Might replied, smiling. He pulled Bakugo along to the others to prepare for the party.
Melissa looked at her 'Uncle' confused while Mirio began sweating buckets.
At the battlefield, Izuku was dodging and shooting at the various Leos and Zaku units in front of him. His green, padded armor moved quickly as he rolled and dashed around.
The new Dash Parts in his Boots were really intuitive and the red scarf was a flashy bit for his armor.
This exercise was helpful for him. He let himself forget himself in the combat and forget about the party where his former bully would be.
He knew his parents and sister would be upset with him. This party was set up far in advance! He wanted to be there...But, Bakugo being on the island just made him twitchy and agitated. That time he spent in therapy; while somewhat embarrassing, he didn't want to repeat.
Suddenly, the drone cease moving! He was just getting into the swing of things with the CMX armor.
"Huh?! What's going on?! Doc! Turn the drones on! I haven't even activated the Digi-Struct for CMX addons yet! X Fire and Ultimate Armors aren't tested!" Izuku commanded.
"Sorry, baby brother. But, it's time to pack it in and get changed! We have a dinner party to get to and YOU need to be in that suit we got tailor made for you!" a familiar female voice said over the intercom.
'Ohhh...shoot!' Izuku mentally winced as he turned and saw his sister next to the buff, tall blonde boy who came with All Might.
"Lissa...Please...Let me keep going. I don't think I can go to the dinner." Izuku muttered, tiredly.
"No can do, Izu! You're going to that dinner! Mom and Dad are expecting us both! Do ya want me to get Mom down here and scold you for avoiding the party? Cuz I can definitely do that! I got her on speed dial~!" Melissa argued, back smugly holding her cell phone.
"Hey! Um...Mr. Buff All-Might looking guy!" Izuku asked, pointing at Togata, "Do you mind stealing my sister's cell phone, please? Or breaking it?"
Mirio looked between Izuku and a bemused Melissa, who held the phone out; daring him to try.
"Um......You're on your own about this, dude!" Mirio said, nervously, "She's YOUR sister. You should listen."
"Smart boy! Have a cookie!" Melissa said, smiling and giving Mirio a random chocolate chip cookie.
'Here's hoping he chokes on it...' Izuku mumbled.
"Okay, fine! I'll go get changed. Can I bring Kerby along, at least?" Izuku asked, annoyed.
"Huh? Oh yeah, sure! Mom hasn't seen the upgrades you gave him!" Melissa replied, staring into the smiling Mirio.
Izuku smirked.
"You know..." Izuku began, causing both to look at him, "If you're gonna make out with 'All Might Jr.'...Buy HIM dinner first. It'd save you some trouble."
"IZUKU! I'M GONNA KILL YOU FOR THAT! GO GET DRESSED OR I'M BRINGING THAT BRUNETTE DOWN HERE TO BUST YOU UP!" Melissa complained, loudly until she heard Mirio chuckle, "Watch it, big boy! I am more than just a pretty face! I can break you in two!"
Izuku laughed as he rushed off while he could hear Mirio stammer an apology.
Maybe these new arrivals will be nice to meet after all!

Chapter Text
The sun had gone down on I-Island. Barely any of the sun's rays were illuminating the dimly lit research buildings. People in suits or dresses gathered at the Dining Building. It was a crowded affair.
Date: July 5th.
"I can't believe we're having a GALA dinner on I-Island! I've never been to a Gala!" Hagakure said, twirling in a floral dress.
"Oooh! I'm so excited! I wonder if there's a Dance Floor! Can't wait to cut a rug!" Mina giggled in her dress, designed in her Hero Costume colors.
Bakugo groaned in his dress suit, given to him by Kirishima. He did NOT want to be there but Aizawa wanted to keep a close eye on him.
The class gathered into the Dining Hall where Melissa smiled and waved them over. Their table was HUGE. She sat near the end by her David. The seats were marked with their names. Eri was closest to Izuku's seat; she beamed adorably. She got to hang out with Papa. Uraraka was opposite her. She bounced in her little sun dress, with little apple imagery on it. Melissa couldn't help but notice.
"She loves Apples." Aizawa bluntly informed, appearing next to Melissa. He appeared out of nowhere and informed her like he read her mind.
"Ahh! Uncle Zawa! Don't do that." Melissa chastised, while Aizawa gave a signature shit-eating grin. Wouldn't be Aizawa without it, "Where is he?! He better not miss Dinner. Again."
"Problem Child?" Aizawa asked, instantly aware of the answer.
"Izuku, yes." She groaned. Melissa led Eri to her seat. Aizawa sat on by her; Bakugo in tow. He scowled at his teacher while the teacher glared back. As if to emote "Try me, bitch. Fuck with me and find out.".
Kirishima and Mina sat together, next to Momo and Shoto, and Jirou and Kaminari were next to Hagakure and Ojiro. All Might sat next to Melissa, smiling with Mirio right NEXT to her. He blushed intensely and had a broken (really: happy, scared to shit, shy) that Amajiki, annoyed, stared at him with absolute confusion and Hado didn't notice.
"Okay, I'm the shy nimrod here. What's your deal, Mirio-kun?!" Amajiki asked, in near room volume.
"I don't know. Just when I'm near her, I feel weird. But good weird." Mirio whispered, "I'm not trying to steal your shtick, bud. Seriously!" Mirio answered in fright.
"Um, so Melissa. Where's De--I mean, Izuku?" Uraraka asked, in her dancing dress. She blushed, almost calling Midoriya the 'bad' nickname.
"He should be here. He better be wearing his suit or I'm killing him." Melissa said, exasperated.
Just then, Inko Midoriya was at the top of a ramped entrance to the Dining Hall. She looked radiant. Almost an angel. By her side was a red robotic swordsman? He wore a pure white trench coat. He held a...leash? Melissa looked admirably to her mother, but immediately dropped to annoyance and started grinding her teeth. By the red robot was a black/red robotic dog who seemed to try and bite at Inko's dress. The red robot kept the dog restrained.
"You've gotta be kidding me! That stupid--! Huh?" Melissa growled, before noticing the dog's mouth with a clinging piece of fabric in it. Ochako's mouth was agape seeing how beautiful Inko looked. She resembled a model! Ochako paused; of course Inko was a model. All Might and David stood proudly as she came down.
Inko walked down the ramp elegantly with the red robot on her arm, a gentle, motherly smile ever present on her face. She seemed so happy, briefly squeezing the arm of the red robot with pride and joy. The robot almost seemed relieved...or was the enjoyment as well. It's face didn't emote.
They finally reached the table, Inko released the robot from her grip and the robot's body...glowed--oh crap. The robot's glow shone and nearly blinded everyone before vanishing, leaving...MIDORIYA?!
"WHA--?! HOW DID YOU--?!" Tenya loudly exclaimed.
"Izu! You better give me a darn good explanation, little brother! The tailor spent good time on that suit!" Melissa chastised. Izuku hunched back a smidge nervously before silently pointing to the robot dog, which was currently looking at Eri, wagging its tail.
"Kerby?" Melissa deadpanned.
"Kerby." Izuku replied, bluntly. The dog slipped its leash and slowly trotted to Eri, who shrunk in nervousness as it stopped and stared in curiosity. It moved closer, making Eri squeak in shyness before calmly placing its head (?) on her lap and looked earnestly at her. Izuku grinned gently walking over and kneeling.
"Mm...is he?" Eri tried to ask nervously.
"What is he?" Izuku inquired to her question.
Eri nodded and felt nervous. And ashamed. Uraraka cooed as Eri gripped her hand for security. Iida looked at the mechanical canine in curiosity.
"His name's Kerby. He's a robot dog. He's perfectly safe." Izuku looking at his tail, "See? The tail's wagging. He likes you."
Eri saw the wagging tail and gave a small, sweet and shy smile. Mina, on opposite side of the table and Hagakure 'awwwed' at the cute scene. Bakugo just made a retching sound Izuku could hear but chose to ignore. He grunted. Izuku wore a somewhat futuristic red and white dress suit (pilot suit?) and sat in his seat next to Eri. 'Kerby' lied down next to Eri, contently chewing on the fabric (What's LEFT of Izuku's tux).
"So...How did you come to live here, Midoriya?" Iida asked. He noticed Bakugo's attitude.
"Well...My Mom married Dad and he opted to bring me to I-Island. Honestly? Best. Decision. Ever. Of all time." Izuku replied, with a confident grin. Bakugo scowled.
"Shut it, Bakugo." Aizawa hissed. Just as Bakugo was about to loudly argue with him, he caught sight of Melissa, holding...what was that - a remote? He looked at the bottom of his seat, seeing mini-arms with TASERS attached and 'Kerby' looked darkly at him, silently barely its iron fangs. He was surrounded by lots of stuff to shut him up.
"Hey, Bakugo?" The voice of Melissa called. He looked over to Melissa, who looked back at him smugly.
"Remember my words, Bakugo. Give me a reason. Just, give me." Melissa said, darkly as she dangled the remote at him. He realized, silently kept at his seat and grumbled.
"Can I go back to the hotel?" Bakugo grumbled in annoyance.
"No. You don't socialize enough." Aizawa replied.
Inko waved at Bakugo, she had a motherly (hidden anger) aura as Bakugo turned to look at her.
"How are Masaru and Mitsuki? Have they been okay?" Inko asked, politely.
"The old--!" Bakugo began before seeing Melissa with the remote looking sadistic, "Mom and Dad are fine. They heard you lived here and wanted me to give you this. Happy Birthday...Auntie Inko."
He pulled a box from under his seat, passing it to Inko.
"Oh yeah! Happy Birthday, Mom!" Izuku and Melissa said, smiling as they gave her their own boxes.
"Oh! Thank you! All of you." Inko said. She rose up and kissed her kids on the forehead before walking over to Bakugo and giving him a kiss on the forehead as well. He cantankerously blushed while Sero and Kaminari cooed in humor.
"Hey, Lissa." Bakugo called to her surprise as the pair froze, "I know your protective of...some people. But are they included?"
Melissa looked at Sero and Kaminari who looked back in desperate pleas before, "Sorry guys. I'm really making sure he knows the lengths I'd go to for family."
Both looked frightened at her words as Bakugo turned to them with a sadistic expression. They were as good as dead before Aizawa coughed.
"Her business is hers. But not mine." Aizawa said, catching Bakugo off, relieving the two before adding, "That being said, just for SOME peace, Bakugo, I'll look away."
Bakugo broke into a devilish smile and both Kaminari and Sero could only look in horror as their future darkened. Jirou couldn't help feel intimidated.
"Have you lived on I-Island all your life, Deku? Oop!" Uraraka popped, causing Izuku and Melissa (suddenly seething) to immediately turn their gazes on her, "I-I mean Izuku. Izuku."
"What did you call my brother?" Melissa asked, trying to sound polite. Her mother IS there.
"I-I meant, I-I-I mean to s-say--! Please don't kill me!" Ochako squeaked in fright. Tenya looked on in shock as Izuku's mood went from like a gentle, big brother to seething in cold anger.
"Now, sweetheart. Her 'Deku' comes from a different source than Katsuki." Inko interjected, darkly reminding Bakugo of her opinions.
"What do you mean, Mom? What does she mean...U-Um?" Melissa asked, but not knowing Ochako's name.
"Her name is Ochako Uraraka." Mina shouted. Ochako was shocked by this betrayal.
"MINA! I WILL PRANK YOU!" Ochako shrieked, in rage.
"I'll allow it." Aizawa droned, smugly, sipping a Mai Tai. Mina looked back with an incredulous "Hey!".
"I-I...I called him D-Deku..." Ochako began, feeling beyond fearful with Deku AND Melissa right there, "Because it reminded me of...Dekiru?"
Izuku looked less angry (if at all) and just looked between Ochako and Eri, who smiled. Melissa, on the other hand, was more 'What is Dekiru?'. Bakugo just looked flatly at the two just dumbfounded expressions.
"What...is Dekir--?!" Melissa began, shocked.
"It means, you can do it." Mirio buzzed in, catching her off-guard.
Melissa's face was shock and just blank before grabbing her glass of iced water, chugging it down like a pint of ale, getting up from her seat and taking Mirio by the arm, about to walk away.
"There's a dance floor over yonder. If you want to dance, dance." She said, loudly and awkwardly as Mirio looked nervously at All Might.
All Might smirked, "You're on your own. This be your business."
Mirio turned and looked with a nervous, but excited smile to Amajiki and Hado before seeing they weren't in their seats? Turning to the dance floor, Amajiki was nervously dancing with an energetic Hado with Kirishima and Mina dancing with smiles. Turning to Midoriya, he mouthed 'HELP ME!'
Izuku looked to his sister and back to Mirio before shaking his head 'Nope'. Melissa dragged Mirio to the dance floor
Before he could speak:
"David!" a voice shouted, loudly and happily. Turning around, causing Aizawa and All Might surprise, was portly man with a thick western accent.
"SAM! Oh my gosh, what brings you here, old friend?" David replied in surprise. Inko looked a bit...perturbed. Izuku looked at Sam with serious reservations.
'If he's here...then that means-! Oh NO.' Izuku dreaded as a younger boy around Melissa's age stood by 'Sam' looking smug at Midoriya. Uraraka, Eri, just everyone at the table could taste Izuku's next dread filled thought as he winced in frustration.
'FUCK!'

Chapter Text
Izuku Midoriya was fuming as he looked on as his father hugged his old business partner, Sam Abraham, and didn't notice the other party with him. His mother noticed, and while she seemed unphased, Bakugo could tell she was pissed. Uraraka felt a deep chill in the air, and others felt...a tad put off.
The boy Izuku was silently looking to decapitate, with his mind, was an average height and rather cleaned up blonde boy with slicked over hair. He was business attire, almost mimicking Sam. Bakugo looked at him and just scowled nonchalantly. He did not seem to be okay with this guy either. But Midoriya was just begging to slug him. And Bakugo could practically feel that.
"Long time no see, Midoriya-kun." The boy said, almost condescendingly.
"Hello, Junior." Izuku said, curtly. Everyone turned to Izuku, Bakugo almost flinched from the venom Izuku spat. Ochako just about leaned back into Deku, before flinching at Izuku's tone. Izuku saw her concern, and chuckled in apology.
"Good evening, Samuel. I'm surprised you and your father came this evening." Inko said, hiding her anger. Bakugo felt like between Deku and Inko, he'd honestly be back in his hotel room.
"Uh, Aizawa-Sensei? Do ya think I can just sk--?" He began before getting cut off.
"Oh, don't be. Father has some business with Mr. Shield. Don't worry. I will be very brief. I won't be in your hair, Mrs. Midoriya." Junior spoke, his air of condescension not leaving. Aizawa eyed him with a look of hidden irritation.
"Bakugo. While on this trip, I'd want you on your best behavior, I'll say tonight, you can skip dinner." Aizawa quietly spoke. Bakugo seemed happy.
"Yeah. Hey, Mom? Would it be okay, if I showed everyone still at the table...the Arcade?" Izuku asked, almost impatiently.
"ARCADE?!" Kaminari, Mineta, Mina, Sero and Kirishima asked in loudly and shocking Izuku completely. Mina and Kirishima popping back was sudden but not unwelcome. The beaming faces of Kirishima and Mina almost took Izuku's temper aback. In fact, ALL of the students who clamored surrounded Izuku and gave a pleading, almost puppy-dog pout to Aizawa. He waved them off to be Inko's responsibility.
"Yes, dear. You can give the Class a nice tour of the Arcade." Inko said, eyes shut and smiling.
All Might and Aizawa just flinched and turned to Inko.
"Did it just...?!"All Might whispered. Aizawa looked at the man, just nodded and saw Eri shrink.
Inko noticed, and rose from her seat, walked up to Eri. She shrank further before Inko scooped her up and placed a kiss on her forehead.
"Sorry, little Candy Apple. It's okay, it's okay." Inko whispered. She rocked the infant, softly before gingerly passing her to her son.
"Izu, why not take Eri along and maybe show her the candy shop?" Inko suggested, "Maybe she'd like something from there?"
Izuku paused at the gesture and gawked at his mother.
"Candy Shop? But there's n--!" Izuku began, before catching his mother's intent of 'Run, I'll watch him', "Oh! Yeah, I'll give the class a tour of the Arcade and treat Eri to something from the Candy Shop. Is that okay, kiddo?".
Eri looked quizzically at the Midoriya mother and her son and back to Aizawa, nervously.
"It's okay, Eri. I trust the Problem Child. As long as everyone with him keep a watchful. Eye on you." Aizawa grumbled. All Might just sat nervously in his seat at the episode as Izuku led the Class from the table. Melissa and Mirio, who were dancing gently, noticed Izuku walking out of the building. At first, Melissa wondered what would prompt this action before catching sight of Junior. She sighed and hugged Mirio tighter, who's face fully went red before normalizing in concern of the new individual. He barely caught sight of him but felt a sense of worry.
Just looking at the guy, brought a feeling discomfort to him, causing him involuntarily wrap his arms around Melissa, who didn't realize it, but smiled like a girl at a school dance with her crush and bit her lip oh so, shyly. Meanwhile, Nejire bounced in her dance while Amajiki eyed Mirio before eying Abraham Jr.
'Yeah, I don't like that guy. He doesn't seem right.' He thought.
Outside in the open pavilion, Izuku stopped briefly before handing Eri off to Uraraka. He transformed into his red robot suit and flew straight up. Everyone watched with worry before a sudden, brief but powerful pressure (Like All for One's appearance in the Bakugo rescue mission, in Canon - Teron. TERON - Sharpman) was felt and he came back down.
"You okay, Dek--I mean, Izuku?" Ochako asked.
"Yeah, you seemed kinda pissed. The same goes to Auntie Inko. Who the fuck was that bitch?!" Bakugo asked, in anger. Izuku sighed and glared,
"That...Was Mr. Sam Abraham. He's one of my Dad's business partners. And the shi--! Ahem, I mean, the kid is Samuel Abraham Jr." Izuku began. Bakugo caught Izuku's near-swear. He never would see Deku be THAT pissed before.
"And...who is he exactly?" Momo asked, leaning forward, "My father was talking about a partnership with an Abraham from the States. Is he that bad?".
"He's...His father seems nice, at least." Izuku continued, "But Junior can kiss the broadside of my backside. Just imagine someone with the most condescending attitude you ever met, and times it by...a lot!"
"I can think of the copycat prick from home for the first half of that; damn." Bakugo replied, "I knew your were angry at me, but never expected it to come from that douche."
"What's a dou...dou...?" Eri tried to asked before, "NOT UNTIL YOU'RE OLDER!". She paused before crossing her arms into an annoyed pout.
"B-Bakugo means to say a derogatory term, Eri." Iida whispered, "It's best not to use it. Aizawa would be upset with you."
Eri gasped in surprise before Izuku hunched over.
"Let's just keep this a secret, ah-kay?" Izuku said, "Besides, I owe you a treat for getting away from that chump."
Eri blushed cutely and nodded, "Candy Apple?"
"Candy Apple." Izuku replied with a wink, "Anyone else want anything? It's coming outta my paycheck but you all deserve something."
Iida shook his head politely while the others nodded excitedly.
"Just how annoying is that...*glances at Eri*...Twerp?" Bakugo asked, suddenly. Everyone gawked at Bakugo before turning to Midoriya.
"Picture how you act towards me. But, I'm you in the scenario. And you'll get the gist." Izuku replied, flat toned.
Everyone just gasped as Izuku took Eri into his arms and led the group to the 'Candy Shop' (Really just a Root Beer Float restaurant, that served Candy Apples off the menu) and then to the Arcade. Mina and Hagakure were enamored by the DDR platforms while Bakugo, Kaminari and Kirishima enjoyed the laser tag with Sero and Shoji. Kouda was intrigued by the virtual zoo while Shoto saw a Circus Water Gun game with Endeavor's face on it. Momo giggled lightly while Jirou rocked on the Rock Band System. Tokoyami, Ojiro and Tsuyu sat, out beleaguered from the day. Ochako smiled brightly as she and Izuku, who seemed to need the time away from Junior, watched Eri smack popping villains in a Whack-a-Villain game. It strangely had a Plague Doctor theme too it - don't ask, Izuku had no idea. Eri enjoyed it, though.
"O-Okay, now I'm feeling better since we came to this shit show." Bakugo said, smirking, "*Yawn* But now I'm getting tired. How's about we head back?"
"Dude, it's barely even 7 o'clock." Kaminari replied, excitedly. Mineta was looking at a CG opening to a Fighting Game's Female Fighters. Jirou noticed and grunted. The girls in the game were busty. Especially one in a red and white kunoichi dress, with red tassels at the back that are fastened to an obi around her waist. Izuku looked blankly at Mineta, who was eying the character too enthusiastically.
"Should we be worried?" He asked, "I have never seen anyone THAT hyped for her."
"That's Mineta. He's a little too..." Ochako began before Hagakure jumped on her.
"...Too enthusiastic for girls. I think he's a pig." She said with an irritated expression (How do you know it's irritated?) and annoyed tone. Just then, All Might and Aizawa arrived with Inko, Melissa and the rest, sans David.
"Mom? Is everything okay?" Izuku asked, as Inko had a 'pleased' expression while All Might chuckled...nervously.
"I'm alright, sweetie. Just tired from the Abraham's." Inko said, her smiling expression darkened.
"H-hehehe, don't worry, son. Everything w-will be fine." David nervously stated, "J-Just gotta...gotta take some news with some salt, okay?"
"Okay, what 'salt' though?" Izuku asked, as Melissa walked up.
"You're gonna have take this on the chin, little brother." Melissa replied, "We all have to. Mom's little frustration is going to be the least of our concerns. Oh god."
"W-what? We're not in trouble, are we, Dad?" Izuku asked, nervously, "Business isn't a problem, right?"
"No, no! Business is going swimmingly." David began, sweating bullets, "Just...I know you and Junior don't get along but..."
A sudden thought raced in Izuku's mind upon the mention of Junior. His expression darkened and the same awkward cold air returned. Eri hugged Uraraka with worry.
"Dad? Where are you going with that." Izuku asked, anger creeping in his voice.
"Sam told me, just don't be too upset son, um..." David began to explain, nervously, "Sam a-and his son will be..."
"...Here until the 15th. They're gonna be here, on I-Island, until your birthday!" Inko exclaimed, forcing herself to sound cheerful. Izuku darkened as the air around him felt heavy and angry. Bakugo, felt genuinely apologetic in that precise moment.
"...Izuku?" Ochako whispered, with worry.
The near-silence abruptly cleaved when Izuku roared in shock.
"WHAT THE--!" Izuku began before Inko cut him off "IZUKU!".
"I'M SORRY, BUT, WHAT?!?!"
Well, this evening was a bust.
Morning came tiredly and tiredly.
Izuku was trying to sleep the day away, but the sun beamed into his room, and the wake-up alarms wouldn't let him. His door bell rang, which his groggy self just froze at.
"Who is it?" He croaked, angrily, as he opened the door. If it was Junior, he was going to look dolled up for his ass.
"H-Hi, D-Deku. Um...It's me, Ochako Ura...raka..." She said, trailing off.
"O-Ochako? Wait...why are...GAHHH! I'm sorry! I'm not dressed!" Izuku shouted, "Gimme a sec! Gimme a sec!"
"I'm sorry!" She cried. But it was too late, she saw things. Things that she shouldn't have. Things her mind would torment her over.
'Muscles! So. Much. Muscles!' Her mind screamed in delight.
'Why, of all times did I have to have a nice dream! Shit!' Izuku cursed internally.
This was going to be a long day.
Notes:
Samuel Abraham Jr:
Gender: Male.
Common Psychological State: Condescending (AS F*** - Teron - Makes Monoma seem a jokester)
Blood Type: O.
Trait: Quirkist.
Quirk: Shiny Skin (He glows)
Physical Description: Monoma and Aoyama (But not nice, AT ALL)
Quick Bio: Junior is the son of Sam Abraham. He's really, well-liked by the Shield-Midoriya family. IE: Izuku, Melissa and Inko. Inko, she just barely tolerates him, mostly because Junior implies Inko is loose and a gold digger (She's not, obviously). Melissa, less so, because he tries to be a suitor for her (I'd say fuck 'em. Keep swinging at the park because Melissa - Teron, TERON, SPOILERS! - Sharpman). Izuku is on a shoe string with him due to Junior's Anti-Quirkless beliefs.

Chapter Text
The day's activities were not without embarrassment. First, Ochako saw Izuku's bare upper body. She couldn't stop her mind from envisioning an oiled up Izuku in a speedo with sun tan oil for her. Damn her mind! Damn Mina for feeding her those thoughts to begin with. Second, when guiding Deku to the I-Island Beach because Eri asked him to join them, she had an incident. When Ochako was in the Women's Change Room, Izuku fell into it, himself trying to prevent Mineta and Junior (The bitch) from sneaking a peak. Izuku popped out with a glowing, red slap mark and a grimace. Mineta apologized; Junior didn't. In fact, he had hoped to sneak a peak at Yaoyorozu. Todoroki took on the role of Bodyguard with a severely pissed expression towards Junior.
"One day, Junior's gonna suffer for that." Izuku grumbled, rubbing his cheek. Eri brought a bag of ice.
"Don't worry, Papa. Mama will forgive you!" She giggled, beaming. Suddenly, his beeper rang. Responding, Izuku was requested to go to the Testing Grounds in the 00 Sky Suit for Special Mod Training. Eri became disheartened before Uraraka arrived in a pink and black bikini, blushing. She noticed her sad expression and hunched over.
"What's wrong, sweetie?" Ochako asked, sweetly.
"Papa has to go somewhere." Eri said, depressed. Izuku thought briefly, seeing the little girl being sad.
"How about you and Ochako come to the Testing Grounds with me? You can see me practice in the Mech Suit." Izuku offered, gently. Eri lit up. Training Grounds? Watching 'Papa' fight robots? Eri looked at Ochako, pleadingly. She giggled, and agreed. But before they could get changed, Shoto and Momo came up to them.
"What's going on?" Momo asked, Jirou popping behind her.
'Does Jirou have a thing for Yaoyorozu? Or am I just dumb?' Izuku wondered.
"Deku got called for Mech Testing. He offered to show me and Eri a bit of it. Why not come with?" Ochako explained, cheerily. Eri turned to Momo and Shoto with a hopeful expression. Shoto flinched with a melting heart and Momo blushed with a smile. They agreed, joined by a bored Bakugo and tired Kirishima and Mina along the way. Well, until Izuku mentioned the Sparing Arena which made Bakugo smirk, before a Scientist called, informing Midoriya that Junior is at the Arena. Bakugo declined, shocking Kirishima, but the red head remembered the arrogant youth. He wisely stuck with the others. Mina leaned up to Ochako.
"So. I heard Deku-kun got a peak at your goods?" Mina whispered into Ochako's ear. Ochako froze and blushed intensely.
"Mina! Don't say that out loud! It's embarrassing!" Ochako whined quietly.
"What? C'mon, it's adorable! You saw him without a shirt yesterday." Mina said, again quietly.
"Not just yesterday..." Ochako murmured.
"Huh?" Mina questioned.
"I went to wake up Deku and invite him to the beach to take his mind off that Junior jerk. Didn't expect...what he was like in the morning." Ochako trailed off, blushing intensely.
"Please tell me he slept in the nude. I will accept nothing less." Mina giggled. Izuku turned and saw Mina giggling.
"Mina's a bit of a love bug. Any whiff of 'romantic tension' and she'll follow it." Jirou deadpanned, "Especially Ochako."
"You'd think she'd like Mineta--" Izuku began. But Mina made a mad dash to his face.
"Don't EVER imply I'd like that creep! He is disgusting and saw Hagakure naked!" Mina shrieked. Izuku looked at Mina's fuming pout incredulously.
"Isn't Hagakure invisible? Like, 100% of the time?" Izuku asked.
"That's beside the point!" Mina screamed. Kirishima tried to calm her down with a chuckle as they walked - Mina still pouting in anger. Izuku watched in concern.
"Don't worry, she'll calm down eventually." Momo interjected.
The group walked on to the Testing Grounds meeting up with Melissa, Mirio, Nejire, Amajiki, All Might and Iida. Iida looked depressed, touching the stump from which his arm was. Eri looked sadly at him and hugged his leg tightly. Aizawa was having Afternoon Tea with Inko, David...and Sam Sr.
Sam Jr was right there, walking into the room, wearing an obnoxious smug look.
'Oh nuts.' All Might grunted.
"Well, if it isn't Midoriya-kun. Off for another failure, again?" Junior joked, sneering.
"I'm going through Mech Testing. Why are you here?" Midoriya countered, "Shouldn't you be with your 'Daddy' counting dollar bills?"
"Oh, Father is busy speaking with your Mother and Father and that lout from Japan." Junior replied, arrogantly. Izuku rolled his eyes before going to the 'Install' Chamber. All Might looked angrily at Junior.
"I don't like your tone, young man. Do NOT insult her, especially in my presence!" All Might boomed, his expression aggravated. Junior looked smugly at All Might, but his expression belied the fear in his body language. He shivered meekly.
"Don't mock Deku, bitch. He's a LOT better than you. But, not better than ME." Bakugo growled, "And if he's been doing all this robot testing shit for 11 years, he can own your ass."
Everyone turned to Bakugo in surprise. No one expected him to comment positively in Izuku's name.
"Alright, everyone. Midoriya's down on the platform now." A Scientist called. Everyone walked out to the viewing platform in the lab and saw a light green and dark blue colored mech. It had strange cone-like wings that shimmered a green-ish light. Mina and Eri's eyes went wide with the amount of mechanical detail. Almost everyone was impressed.
Junior, however, was not.
"Pah, he's still practicing with that pile of scrap parts?" Junior insulted.
"Hey! Deku's suit looks cool!" Ochako argued.
"Ha! The fact you're calling him 'Deku' shows the truth. He's a worthless creature. Why did Master Shield even marry his poor excuse of a mother?" Junior argued back angrily.
"Hey! Don't insult Mrs. Midoriya! She's been a great host here!" Mirio yelled, while Melissa behind him shook with intense anger. But she kept silent. If she spoke, Bakugo's cursing will look paltry.
"Well, excuse me for thinking Deku can do anything!" Ochako yelled, face turning red.
"Pardon me, for seeing Midoriya as he really is. A worthless, pathetic, little QUIRKLESS pissing pot!" Junior shouted.
Silence rose and hung over the platform while Junior stood 'victoriously'. Melissa's face was hidden by her blonde hair, but red angry cheeks and worn out red, tears stained eyes could be felt. Ochako looked aghast at Junior while Bakugo could only freeze and picture his bullying self of the past. He was about to jump Junior; to fucking hell with the fallout of his idea, when:
"Get. Out. Now." a voice rang through the viewing platform.
All looked around before a scientist walked forward. He looked angry and grabbed Junior by the collar and began dragging Junior out.
"Unhand me, you fool! I own your salary! I own your paycheck! I OWN YOU!" Junior yelled, angrily.
"No, you don't; on any account. I will not let you freely insult my boss." The scientist countered, voice low, "Midoriya has been a boon for us on I-Island. His being 'Quirkless' means nothing. Nothing! And NO ONE is going to drag his name in the mud! This may get me fired, but YOU are not allowed near Sir Midoriya, LADY Midoriya or the visiting UA students. So buzz. Off!"
He tossed out Junior with gusto and more serious strength then thought possible. Other scientists and mechanics roared in applause as the scientist walked up to Melissa and bowed.
"I'm sorry for being impertinent towards a guest I-Island. I am willing to accept any punishment, Milady." The scientist said, cordially. Melissa breathed in relief while Mirio briefly looked back and turned to the researcher with pride.
"I'd say you're off the hook, good doctor." Mirio said with a toothy smile.
"I'll say. If you didn't, I would have." All Might added, "No one says such things about my Niece or Nephew. No one."
The class sighed in great relief until Eri perked and noticed.
"Hey! Where's Uncie Kaka?" She squeaked. Everyone suddenly looked around, confused.
Where did Bakugo go?!
Bakugo somehow found his way to the chamber where Deku stood, his head low and trembling lightly.
"You were right. The dude was a bitch." Bakugo said, calmly.
Silence, with some small scraping of metal.
"I never knew you've been dealing..." Bakugo began, "Aw fuck, dude, say SOME thing!"
"Sorry...Kacchan." Izuku said, "It's been hard getting over the old days. When it comes back, it tends to linger."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. I know." Bakugo responded, lightly, "Was I like him when we were kids?"
"N-No. No, you weren't." Izuku replied, calmly, "Honestly, you were at least somewhat more likeable. You don't call my Mom a 'whore' or anything."
"Wait. That shithead call Auntie Inko a whore?!" Bakugo growled, annoyed.
"Not as directly, but he often does." Izuku said, he stretched in the suit.
"Humph! I should've choke slammed his ass back there. But, the poindexter beat me to it." the blonde grumbled.
Izuku chuckled from the suit, turning with a bit of relief.
"So what the fuck does this suit do, exactly?" Bakugo inquired, "It obviously doesn't look that badass."
"This suit grants me increased speed, agility, spatial awareness and strength." Izuku explained, "Plus the weapons are pretty sweet. Buster Sword, Long Rifle, Melee oriented combat gauntlet and greaves. It's one of my favorites."
"Uh huh. Well, whatever." Bakugo shrugged.
A pause as Izuku looked to the swelling arena full of Leo NPD mechs and back at Bakugo. A pleasant thought popped in his head.
"Say, Kacchan?" Izuku began. Bakugo grunted in acknowledgement, "What do you say to a little fun?"
"What fun?" Bakugo inquired, interest piqued.
"The goal for my testing is take down as many Leo mechs as possible." Izuku continue. Bakugo turned and seemed more interested.
"Oh?" He grunted, a smile emerging.
"Whoever destroys the most Leos before getting tired wins?" Izuku asked. He turned to the grunts with a smirk.
"OH! Bring it!" Bakugo snickered.
"READY?............GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"
