Song for this story~ Superheros by Daft Punk!

Hey hey! I'm crying inside, but here it is! I know it's a little late but tada~! I know it's a late update, but school has been kicking my ass. In fact, I should be working on my lip sync assignment rn. I'm also currently job hunting for a full time job since the semester is coming to an end. I'm also starting to slowly put together a portfolio so I can apply to art schools. Boy oh boy being an adult sure is fun...

Anyway, I hope you all like this chapter! I was in the process of writing it when my brain decided to wonder wtf is inside all those floors in the main building. I'll rant about that later though!

Chapter Text

“Soooo…” Hitoshi began as he and his friends finally walked onto school grounds, “Do either of you know where 1-A is?” He asked, looking around.

“Oh! The map should be in the student handbook!” Izuku snapped his fingers before he reached into the side pocket of his bag to pull out a small handbook.

“You actually brought it?” Monoma raised an eyebrow, “Damn, I left mine at home.”

“Yeah, my middle school had a rule that made it mandatory to carry it around at all times. They come in handy sometimes.” Izuku explained, as he flipped through the pages.

“My school had the same rule. Never went through the thing though. It's mostly just a habit to carry it around.” Hitoshi explained, taking his dark blue handbook out of his bag to show the blond. Violet eyes squinted at Izuku’s booklet for a moment before glancing back and forth from it and his own, “Is it just me or is yours different from mine?”

“Hm? Oh, yeah, Principal Nedzu had this one sent to me yesterday.” Izuku explained, lifting the booklet up a bit more to show off the shiny dark blue cover. “I haven't really gotten to go through it yet, but I’ll just do it later. Ah, I found the map.”

Hitoshi and Monoma both leaned in slightly to look at the booklet. The purple haired boy let out a small whistle as he stared at the maps, “Handy” Monoma shot him a glare as his lips turned into a cheeky smirk and Izuku snorted.

“Okay, so our class would be~” Izuku hummed for a moment as his eyes scanned the pages, “In building one on the top.... floor.”

“Top floor!?” His friends responded, all looking up at the huge building.

“Why the fuck?” Hitoshi practically whined.

“M...maybe it's to force us to exercise and keep in shape…” Monoma sighed deeply in defeat. Looks like it’s leg day everyday now.

“Do they have elevators?” the purple haired teen asked his green-haired friend with pleading eyes. Blue eyes quickly looked over to the freckled boy in hopeful curiosity at the question.

“Erm, yeah but th- they're for people who need them and teachers mostly… a- and maybe it’s on the top floor for both exercise and cause there are training rooms under and if something happens we uh… have a better chance of not getting squashed?”

“That’s the worst excuse I’ve ever heard but okay.” Hitoshi gave a bone weary sigh, “lead the way, Izu…” the freckled teen nods and begins walking in the direction of the stairs to the main entrance before pausing.

“What’s wrong Izu? We got like 14 minutes to climb up to class. Chop chop.” Hitoshi cocked an eyebrow

“Now I know why Principal Nedzu sent me this.” Izuku asked, not turning to face his friends.

“Ummm?” Monoma tilted his head to the side, blue eyes met purple for a brief moment before landing back on the green-haired teen.

Izuku slowly turned to face them, mischief glittering in his eyes, “Let’s take a shortcut.” He led his two confused friends away from the front doors of the building. Walking to the side of the school, they began walking through the bushes and trees.

“Uh, Midoriya, where are we going?” Hitoshi questioned as they walked next to the wall of the building through the bushes.

“It should be right abouuuut… here!” Izuku grinned, staring at the tree with a thin trunk.

“This is it, Shinso. We’re gonna get murdered by the green bean and will become fertilizer for the trees. I’ve had a decent run. Passed around homes till I landed with a decent one and am now in the process of being adopted officially. My only regret is not being able to finish Big Mouth.” Monoma spoke in a dramatic voice, making Izuku snort and Hitoshi roll his eyes with a small smile.

“Wanna tell us why we’re actually here, Izu? Before the theater kid decides to throw himself to the floor in a dramatic flourish.” Hitoshi rolled his eyes. His response was an offended gasp from said blond.

“I would never! At least not on the dirt. This uniform is new and if I’m going to dramatically throw myself it’s going to be on a chair or at least inside the building on the polished floor.”

Izuku rolled his eyes with a smile as he walked over to the wall of the building, "This is the only Elm tree in a forest of Oak." He didn't explain further as he pressed his ear against the wall and he knocked, a large grin forming. Backing up, he placed his hands against the wall and began to blindly search.

“What is he-'' Hitoshi's eyes widened as Izuku placed pressure on something, making the wall slide open to show off a metal door. He and Monoma watched in stunned silence as Izuku glanced back down at his handbook and began to tap in a code on a keypad. Once he was done, the metal door silently slid open to reveal a long hallway.

Izuku was practically bouncing on his toes before jogging in, “Come on!”

“Holy crap, the school has a secret passageway…” Monoma mumbled as he and Hitoshi followed the boy. Izuku was quick to type in the code once again on the other keypad, effectively closing the doors, and turned to face his friends in excitement.

“Cool isn’t it!?” He asked, fixing his bag over his shoulders and walking forward to lead the way since he had the map.

“This is so cool...” Monoma nods.

“I mean… it’s cool and all, but how would we even get to our class from here? It’s on the top floor.” Hitoshi tilts his head in curiosity as they turn a corner.

“Simple! Elevators!” Izuku grinned as he paused in front of one.

“I- wha- bu- huh… okay.” Hitoshi slid a hand down his face with another heavy sigh, “Let’s just get to class before we’re late.”

Monoma snickered at this and followed his friends into the elevator. On the way up, they were met with a view of what seemed to be offices thanks to a one way mirror.

"Oh man, this is definitely more convenient than the stairs…" Hitoshi grinned, leaning back on a wall.

"I mean, the secret passage has stairs too, but we're already cutting it pretty close, so I opted for the elevator." Izuku smiles as he scratches his cheek, "Hopefully that's okay."

"... What do you mean hopefully?" Monoma rose a brow.

"Weeeeelll you see…" the elevator slowed down, causing all eyes to land on the one way mirror as it came to a stop on the fifth floor. They were in a large office with desks scattered about. On the other side stood two adults in hero costumes both reviewing documents in their hands, "These elevators are mainly used by staff… or during emergency’s and erm… this floor is the teacher's lounge and offices."

The trio was quick to panic as the doors slowly began to open.

"Sekijiro! Shouta!" Both adults turned in the direction of the voice to see Yumi jogging over to them.

"Yumi, is something wrong?" Sekijiro asked, both he and Shouta walked in her direction to meet her half way.

The trio in the elevator let out a collective sigh of relief at this. Hitoshi took a moment to shove Izuku, earning him a glare in response. In reply, he gestured out the elevator and the floor before them, earning a sheepish grin and shrug. He and Monoma both facepalmed.

"Ah yes! Well, no! But, erm, you two forgot your student charts in my office!"

"That's strange, I thought I took them…" Shouta huffed as he rifled through his papers, "Thank you." He nods.

The trio froze in their argument, which consisted of frantic silent and random gestures. They could hear the teachers exchange goodbyes, and they were quick to jump for the button to close the elevator doors. The moment the doors closed, they all watched on with bated breath as the teachers paused in front of the elevator in befuddlement. As it started to climb again, they let out a collective sigh of relief.

"That's strange. I thought the elevator waited longer." Sekijiro grunted before hitting the button for it.

"I hate technology…" Shouta sighs as he pulls out his phone, making Sekijiro snort.

“I told you we should use the public elevators.”

“And risk awkwardly standing there with a student who’s too nervous to speak? I’m good. Just press the button.”

--

The moment the boys had arrived on their floor, they practically sprinted out of the elevator, and out the small empty office.

“Well I felt my soul leave my body...” Hitoshi mumbled as he ran a hand through his hair.

"Izuku… next time… warn us before we go against school rules." Monoma huffed before banging his head against a wall.

"Nah, I'm sure it's fine…" Izuku tried to stay optimistic, "No way principal Nedzu would give me the pass code to the elevator and not expect me to use it! If it makes you guys feel better, I can ask when I have lessons with him tomorrow!"

"My God please." Monoma groaned as they all got off the walls and followed Izuku to their class.

"You, sir, are to read through that thing and ask the principal about it tomorrow. That's your new homework. I'm not risking expulsion for a free ride." Hitoshi groaned

"I mean, it's either a free ride or twenty or so flights of stairs." Monoma gestured to the stairs they began walking by.

Hitoshi stared at the stairs blankly as they walked by, "Suddenly, expulsion sounds great."

“I will, I will!” Izuku grinned, finally slowing to a stop as they approached their classroom, 1-A. “Why are the doors in this school so fucking big?”

The purple haired teen rolled his eyes, a mischievous smirk on his lips, “I think the real question is; why are you so short?”

“I could end you with a flick of my wrist, bitch.” Izuku glared up at his friend.

“Oh yeah? Whatcha gonna do? Trip me? Give me a bad hair day? Splash me with a puddle? I’m terrified.”  Monoma snickered as he reached for the handle to slide the doors open. Behind him, Izuku kicked Shinso’s shin, making the male hiss and curse in pain.

“I demand you take your feet off the desk! It's our first day here, and it is highly inappropriate for a Yuuei student to do this on school property!” Hitoshi and Izuku both groaned at the familiar voice.

“Ha!? You’re kidding me, right? Who the hell shoved a stick up your ass? Your old school?” Izuku tensed up, a hand slowly reaching over to grip Hitoshi’s hand. Violet eyes turned to his friend, giving him a firm squeeze. Green eyes blinked a few times and met with concerned violet eyes. With a small nod he took a moment to take in deep breaths.

He knew there was a high chance that he’d see Bakugou again. He just… was caught off guard. Furthermore, he hasn’t seen the blond since that day all those months ago. The freckled boy think’s it must be a miracle he hadn’t run into him till now. The last thing he knew about Bakugo was that his mother was debating whether or not to give him anger management classes.

Apparently, his mother had suggested it while aunty Mitsuki just so happened to complain about Katsuki’s behavior one day during brunch together a few months ago.

Izuku’s mother hadn’t completely stopped speaking to Mitsuki, but their contact had dwindled down significantly. The teen felt guilty for affecting his mothers' relationship with her childhood friend like that. When he had told her how he felt, she was quick to reassure him that it wasn’t his fault.

“You’d dare threaten a classmate!?” It seems aunty didn’t take the advice. Izuku stood straight the moment his eyes met with red.

“Oh, It’s him!” The blue-haired Lego shouted upon noticing where Bakugo’s attention had shifted. Everyone in the class fell silent at this and turned towards the trio. Monoma recognized the guy from the exam. Dude got up and reprimanded two kids who were responding to Present Mic- wait a minute. Looking behind him, he could see Hitoshi practically glaring daggers at the guy, while Izuku was frowning.

Oh.

They were those kids. Of course, they were those kids.

“Good morning!” The male with glasses greeted them as he practically marched over. His eyes were trained on the green-haired male.

“My name is Tenya Iida from So-”

“Yeah, we heard.” Hitoshi rolled his eyes skyward.

“Nice to meet you,” Monoma butted in before Hitoshi could start insulting the boy. Summoning as much energy he could so early in the morning, he smiled politely, “I remember you from the exam. You are the one who asked Present Mic that question. It’s good to see you here.” Hitoshi raised a brow at Monoma’s sudden politeness. Iida stood in a perfect posture and stared at Izuku, making him shift slightly.

“Likewise, and you, you must be a very prospective person.” The trio collectively rose a brow at this, “You realized that there was something more to the practical exam. I completely misjudged you and must admit, you are a far more superior student than me…”

“... Whatcha talkin’ bout Willis?” Izuku blurted out with a tilt of his head. Iida raised a brow at this but continued anyway.

“The secret point system. You knew they existed, meanwhile I was purely focused on the villain points instead when I could have-”

“You’re wrong.” Izuku gave the boy before them a closed mouthed smile, “I didn’t know the point system even existed. I just did what any other decent  person with a beating heart and morals would have done. Honestly, to think I would save people just for extra points is pretty illogical and immoral. Even if I wasn’t taking the exam or trying to be a hero, I would jump in to save anyone who’s in danger.”

Both Hitoshi and Monoma threw a hand over their own mouths to keep from laughing at his friend’s passive-aggressive response. It seemed as if the blue-haired male hadn’t even noticed the jabs.

“Oh! It’s you guys!!” A female voice chirped happily from behind the trio. Turning, they came face to face with a girl with short bobbed hair and a round face with rosy cheeks. “Water boy and blondie!”

“And your ankle girl.” Monoma gave the girl a lopsided smile.

“You guys were awesome! Like, you two did these weird movements and all of a sudden, boom! Bash! Rocks came out of the ground and crushed the giant robot!” The girl gushes as she makes dramatic movements.

“What do you guys think we’re doing today besides the orientation? I wonder what the first year teachers are like! I can’t wait to meet everyone!” As the girl spoke, Izuku’s emerald eyes wandered down in curiosity as he had been feeling someone making their way over before getting down and… crawling? He has yet to get specially made shoes to help his quirk, so everything is blurry as all heck. Whoever it was had just stopped a few feet behind the girl.

He spotted a large yellow sleeping bag with someone in it staring up at the ceiling, looking completely done with his life. The teen stood straighter in realizing that it’s the teacher they saw in the elevator and the one that showed him to Principal Nedzu’s office. From his peripherals, he saw Hitoshi stand straight as well, having noticed the man.

Slowly, the head turned to face them, dark eyes meeting both of theirs with a piercing gaze. They stood there unblinking till the man finally let out an annoyed huff and closed his eyes. The teens felt a sense of victory at this. Black eyes slowly opened again and stared up at the girl's back, “If you are here to make friends, then I suggest you go home.” he rolled on his side as the girl tensed up and turned to look behind her. The man slightly unzipped his sleeping bag to take a sip of a jelly pack as he slowly stood to his feet. The students at the door silently backed up as the giant caterpillar hobbled his way through the door.

“Welcome to Yuuei’s hero course.” The man gives the class a curt nod before proceeding to unzip the yellow monstrosity. “It took you all eight seconds to shut up. That won’t do. Time is a precious thing, rational students would understand that. Not just that, but only two of you noticed me before I even said anything. Spatial awareness is also very important. You’ll do good to remember that.”

The older man folded his sleeping bag over his arms, “Hello, I’m your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta.” The man gave everyone in the class a once over as he spoke before pulling out the school’s gym uniform from his sleeping bag, “There's a box behind my desk with these uniforms, your names should be written on the wrapping. Grab one and head down to the Beta Field, once there, you should easily find the locker rooms. Use your student guide books to find your way, I expect you all changed and on the field in 15 minutes.”

With those final words, Aizawa turned on his heel and walked away. Izuku and Hitoshi wasted no time in turning on their heels to grab their uniforms from the box. Izuku grabbed Monoma’s sleeve and dragged him along with them. By the time they walked out of the door, they could hear students start rushing to the box behind the desk.

“If we run, we should be able to make it to the elevator without being spotted by our classmates.” Hitoshi whispered, glancing back.

“I thought you guys wanted me to speak to Nedzu first before using them again?” Izuku raised a brow as they reached the stairs.

“Fuck… Use your quirk then.” Hitoshi nods to himself, as if he had just made a logical conclusion, before placing himself behind his friend and wrapping his arms around Izuku’s shoulders.

“Wha- hey! Hitoshi!” Izuku grunted as his friend hopped, fully expecting his friend to grab his legs. He did.

“Onward faithful steed.” Hitoshi grinned as he lightly kicked his friend's thigh. Monoma stifled his laugh as he watched with amusement.

“What if I get into trouble for using my quirk?” Izuku groaned, fully accepting his fate.

“Then don’t get caught.” Hitoshi grinned. Izuku let out a sigh and a nod. With a little nudge of his friend’s legs, Hitoshi wrapped his legs around his friends' waist as he walked over to Monoma.

“What? AH!” Izuku picked his friend up in a hug and used his wind to jump onto the railing of the stairs. “Oh my god, no Midoriya I can walk, please let me walk.” Blue eyes blew open wide as he looked straight down the gap between the stairs to see the first floor. Holy shit they were high up.

“No man left behind.” Izuku grinned. Monoma let out a strangled whine at the sparkle in both his friend's eyes and wrapped his arms around Izuku’s neck, Hitoshi adjusting himself, so they can both hold on properly.

“On three.” Izuku’s grin widened and Monoma shut his eyes, knowing his friend wasn’t going to count to three, “One… three!” and he felt his stomach jump to his throat. He briefly heard shouts, probably from their classmates.

Izuku let go of Monoma’s back, knowing he had a tight enough grip on his neck, and used his free hands to control the air. As they passed the third floor, they had finally come to a slow and gentle spiral. By the time his feet touched the floor, he felt Hitoshi happily jump off, and he placed Monoma’s feet on the ground.

“I fucking hate you guys…” Monoma grumbled with a huff as he straightened his uniform.

“It wasn’t that bad.” Izuku chuckled lightly as he pulled out his handbook from his pocket and began his trek towards the field. Hitoshi chuckled as he gave his friend's shoulder a pat as they followed behind the green haired teen.

___

By the time everyone in 1-A had started to arrive at the field, the trio was already having a fairly heated discussion on random topics. Their current topic being would Batman beat All Might. Aizawa has been standing there for the past 9 minutes just listening closely to their conversations. As ridiculous as many of these are, their arguments are interesting. He didn’t know who the fuck Batman was, but he made a mental note to look into him.

He would have told them to shut up if he wasn’t so impressed with how quickly they had gotten to the field and changed. Once the rest of his class arrived, Aizawa noticed them all giving the trio weary stares. A handful seemed to want to speak to them but are unsure as to how they could jump into the conversation.

“Okay, but listen. Batman is the world's greatest detective. He’s going to find out his identity and weaknesses, the same way he did for Superman and the others. He can beat his ass like it or not.” Izuku nods to himself as he crosses his arms over his chest.

“Okay, but All Might would take him down before he even got the chance to initiate his plan.” Monoma argued, “Unfortunately for Batman, he’s not fast enough to dodge or even withstand an attack.”

“That’s true. That’s why I think his Hellbat armor would come in handy for this scenario. It increases his strength, speed, durability and all that stuff. He’d basically be on the same level, an equal fight. Well, as equal as it would be when Batman already knows everything about you.” Hitoshi adds in with a shrug.

Aizawa prepared to clear his throat the moment the final student arrived at the field. Before he even had the opportunity, the green haired boy raised his hand up, causing his friends to fall silent and turn their attention to him. The older man couldn't help but feel a little impressed at the green boy's situational awareness.

“Right then,” Aizawa began with a huff as his eyes scanned over his students, “It took 19 minutes for everyone to gather. That’s practically half of our class time and won’t do. You will make sure to move faster next time. Now, I hope you were all able to stretch enough with those stairs, cause we’ll be doing a quirk assessment test after I take the roll."

“Quirk assessment test??” Many of the students of the class asked at once, making the man frown slightly. Aizawa turned his back to the class to roll his eyes. A hand coming up to go over the phone in his hand.

“But, what about orientation?” A bobbed haired girl pouted as she spoke, “We’re going to miss it, how are we supposed to meet the staff and-”

“If you really want to make it big, then you shouldn’t waste your time on pointless ceremonies. Besides, lots of that information is in your student guide book, if you would bother to use it. Here in Yuuei we don’t do all that traditional bullshit.” He turns to face his class slowly, “In other words, I get to run my class however I want.”

Aizawa watched closely as many of his students seemed to tense up at the news. Tensei’s brother looked rather scandalized at this.

“You’ve all been taking standardized testing in school, but you’ve never been able to use your quirks in physical exams before.” The older man holds up the specialized phone used to record physical conditions and progress during training, “Our country still makes us all take physicals without the use of quirks, and it’s not rational. The ministry of education is delaying the inevitable at this point.”

Pocketing the phone, Aizawa turned to the blond, spiky haired boy. Usually he’d call on whoever got first in the entrance exam, but after going through everyone’s files, Midoriya turned out to have done online schooling. He wouldn't have any recent information on his physical exams.

"Bakugou. What was your best score in the soft ball throw in Junior High?"

“Huh? 62 meters.” the blond responded with a shrug.

“Okay, throw it using your quirk then.” The older man tossed a ball at the teen and gestured over to the circle behind him. With a few annoyed grumbles, the blond waltzed his way over, “You can do whatever you want as long as you don’t leave the circle. Now hurry it up.” Aizawa watched as he stretched his limbs for a moment before throwing the ball with a large explosion and a ‘die!’ escaping his lips. A small sigh escaped his lips, what a problem child.

“You all need to know what your maximum capabilities are. It’s the most rational way to figure out your potential as a pro hero.” He held up the phone for everyone to see, 705.2 meters. Everyone gasped in surprise or awe.

“Wow! 705 meters? No way!”

“Wow! That looks like fun! I want to go next!”

“We get to use our quirks! That’s awesome!”

“Hm, ‘It looks fun’ huh?” Aizawa narrowed his eyes, causing all the students to fall silent, “I wonder if in the three years it takes you all to become hero’s if you’ll have the same attitude the whole way.” A sadistic smirk crosses over the man's lips, making many of the students take a step back, “All right then. How about this? Whoever gets last place in all eight tests will be judged to be the one with no potential, resulting in expulsion as punishment.”

“What!?”

“Are you serious!?”

“No way!”

“But it’s the first day of school! No- even if it wasn’t, we passed the entrance exams! We deserve to be here, kicking us out for getting last place is cruel and unfair!” Ankle girl argued with a frown on her face. Izuku and his friends frowned at the girl's words. Nothing in life was fair, they knew that from first-hand experience.

“Natural disasters, terrorist attacks, discrimination, villain attacks. The world is filled with unfairness.” Aizawa sensei pointed out in a cold tone, “It’s a hero’s job to try to combat that unfairness. If you want to be a pro, you will have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, Yuuei will continuously throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So you need to go beyond. Plus Ultra style. You better show me that you're not here by mistake.” Their sensei shot them all a condescending smirk, “Now then, let’s get started shall we?”

--50-meter dash--

“She removed her shoes, so she could slide around, that was pretty smart.” Hitoshi mumbled softly. He and his friends carefully watched their classmates take turns on the 50-meter dash. Their sensei had decided to have them go up in alphabetical order.

“I wonder if she’s discharging slime?” Izuku questioned as they watched the next group walk to the starting line.

“I think it was something potent. If you looked closely as she discharged it, there was some smoke coming off the ground.” Monoma pointed out. He frowned as the explosive blond shot his friend a glare before blasting off. The fuck is his problem?

“Ah so some kind of acid then.” Izuku hums, having ignored Bakugou in favor of watching the girl that took only 4 hops to get across. “A frog.”

“Tree frog?” Hitoshi tilted his head slightly in curiosity.

“Very likely.” Monoma responded with a nod.

Aizawa spared the trio behind him a glance as he listened to them talk about the students. They were making observations and coming up with theories on quirks that weren’t obvious. Whenever the green haired one would go off on a tangent on their quirks, one of them would poke him, making him stop. They were definitely an interesting group, he’ll give them that.

Hitoshi couldn’t help but pout as Izuku and Monoma were both called up to run next. Monoma slapped his back reassuringly as they walked to the starting line, Izuku shot him a smile. Once they came to a stop, the blond offered his freckled companion a high five. Knowing what Monoma was doing, Izuku shot him a smirk, returning the gesture with a satisfying slap.

The moment the shot rang out, Izuku ran as fast as he could, using his air to propel him forward. Monoma manipulated the earth to practically surf himself to the finish line.

“4.4 seconds!”

“5.0 seconds!”

Izuku shot his friend with a smug smirk. Monoma rolled his eyes as he stuck out his tongue at him. The green bush practically bounced over to his purple haired friend with a grin. He pointedly ignored Bakugou’s annoyed growls, he had after all beat him by 7 seconds. When it was Hitoshi’s turn against the guys with multiple arms, both teens practically threw themselves at him for finishing in 6.11 seconds.

--Grip Strength--

Green eyes watched in amusement as Hitoshi and Monoma’s pale faces turned red. The hand that held onto the Dynamometer shook at the excessive force they put into their hands. Knuckles whitening, purple and blue eyes glared at one another as they tried to get a higher point than the other. Izuku almost burst into a fit of laughter when Hitoshi puffed out his cheeks as if it would help.

The moment the dynamometer beeped, they finally relaxed their bodies and let out a breath. Turning towards Izuku, they showed off their scores. 156 Kilograms. 198 Kilograms.

Monoma shot Hitoshi a victorious grin, “I told you a year of training is nothing compared to my superior three years.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever you overachiever.” Hitoshi rolls his eyes, a smile on his lips.

“Damn, 198, that’s even more than I got.” Izuku hums in appreciation, “Congratulations, Monoma, you get the lollipop.” Izuku pulls a lollipop his dad gave him after the impromptu photo shoot earlier.

“Fuck yeah.” Monoma takes the treat happily and pocketed it for later, “How much did you get?”

“I got 184.” He responded with a nod, “I tried getting rocks to cover my hand, but I felt like I couldn’t close my hand properly, so I decided to do it without my quirk.”

“Why is everyone suddenly stronger than me??” Hitoshi huffs before walking over to their sensei to turn in their scores. Izuku and Monoma followed behind him with small chuckles.

--Standing Long Jump--

“Izu if you don’t make it past that sand I’m telling Sokka and Suki.” Hitoshi murmurs

“Wha- Hitooooo that’s too much pressure~” Izuku whines going in for a hug just as Monoma comes back with a large grin.

“What are you so happy about?” Hitoshi raises a brow as he places his hand on Izuku’s cheek and keeps him at arm's length. The green haired teen whines.

“Just borrowed a quirk.” Monoma smiles. The moment Izuku’s name is called out, he stands up straight and makes his way to the start line with a serious face. Taking in a few deep breaths, he got ready. The moment a shot rang out, he rushed forward with his wind once again. The moment he leaped into the air at the take-off point, he quickly moved his hands about, making a strong gust of wind hit him and throw him across the sand.

Izuku had run over to his purple haired friend as Monoma made his way to the start. The moment he leaped, explosions began to blow from his palms, propelling him forward. The duo grinned at the surprised anger coming from the spiky haired blond. Bakugou looked ready to murder them when Monoma happily walked back over to them.

Shinso didn’t want to be yeeted across the sandbox, but he had to be yeeted across the sandbox. Aizawa wanted to see their best and threatened them with expulsion, he didn’t really have any better choice. So, with a heavy heart, he brainwashed his friend and was yeeted across the sandbox by the earth throwing him into the air and the wind propelling him forward. He was barely able to land into a roll to not get hurt.

Now if only Monoma would delete that damn video he got of it.

--Repeated side steps--

“What’s wrong, Mr high and mighty? I thought you had more training than us?” Hitoshi grinned as Monoma plopped himself on the floor to breathe. They were the last three to keep going after everyone else had enough.

“I did… weight lifting and light jogging you… you co-cky bas… stard… ah fuck…” Monoma threw his head back to stare at the sky.

“Pfft, what was that? Your voice started fading out there.” Hitoshi raised a brow, thoroughly entertained by his blond friend’s suffering. The blond simply responded with a middle finger, making him laugh and trip on his feet.

“Fuck!” Hitoshi shouted in annoyance as the robot showed him his score of 265. Aizawa, having seen them finally stop, casually walked over to read the score and record it into the phone.

“You guys stopped already?” Izuku raised a brow as he came to a slow stop himself. In being the last one to finish, his score came out to be 271.

--Sit Ups--

“I fucking hate you guys.” Monoma groaned as he slowly kept going, glaring at his green haired companion the whole time. His friend held his feet down on the mat as he did sit-ups.

“Come on Monoma! Just a little more~ The guy with the split hair is slowing down! You two are the only one’s left!” Izuku softly cheered his friend as he came up. A wide smile on his lips, almost blinding the blond.

“You got this, blondie, don’t forget to breathe.” Hitoshi glances around as other students watch as Monoma and some guy with two different hair colors were the only ones left with the final set of sit-ups. The entire class has been keeping an eye on the trio since they were usually the last ones to finish sets. The spiky haired blond’s glare seemed to continuously build in intensity after every activity.

“Ah, fuck, I can’t… We have a distance run coming up…” Monoma grumbled as he came to a stop. The multi-haired teen looked relieved and stopped not long after.

“You did so well, Monoma.” Izuku reassures his friend with a pat on his knee.

--Seated Toe Touch--

“What the fuck…” Monoma stared at Hitoshi in utter horror as he practically bent down flat on his chest.

“Yeah, Hitoshi is really flexible.” Izuku commented with a tilt of his head, “He could even do the grudge thing. It’s freaky.”

“Careful, Monoma, or else I’ll come crawling into your house in the middle of the night just to scare you.” Hitoshi grins as he hops to his feet to let the next person go.

“Bro, my fight or flight instincts would come in so quick you’ll receive a kick to the face, I swear to gods.” Monoma responded, taking a careful step back. Nobody noticed the snort that came from their teacher, who hid his amusement behind his scarf and bangs.

--Long Distance Run-- TBH I’ma just say it’s the mile run. God, I hated Mile days in P.E.

“Did that girl just pop out roller skates from her arm?!” Izuku hissed as he and his friends walked over to the mile starting line with the rest of the class.

“Awe, no way!” Hitoshi stared at the black haired girl in awe, “Fuck I’ll be right back bitches.” He gave his friends peace signs with both hands as he walked over to the girl to use his quirk.

“Wait! Me too!” Monoma was quick to follow and ruffle his friend’s purple hair.

“Those assholes.” Izuku pouted as he crossed his arms over his chest, glaring in their direction. They both came back with detachable skates. Neither noticed the mischievous glint in their friend’s green eyes as they focused on putting on the skates.

“I got rollerblades.” Hitoshi happily informed as he quickly began to tie them to his shoes, “This is, like, the best thing in the fucking world.”

“I’ve always wanted heelies. I mean, I still do, but these are awesome too.” Monoma grinned as he secured his skates.

“Maybe we can get our parents to buy us all heelys or something after this.” Izuku suggested, “They did agree to dinner once we got out.” The whole class lined up as their sensei instructed them to get ready.

“Oh you sneaky bastard. I’m in.”

“Same here.”

The moment the shot rang, everyone began running. Izuku was quick to condense the air around into a ball about the size of an exercise ball and hop to sit on it cross-legged.  It shot him forward in front of everyone else at high speeds.

“What the hell?!” Monoma watched as his friend already passed the 1500-meter start. Izuku waved at them with a large shit eating grin.

“Well that’s a new one.” Hitoshi mumbled in awe, “Come on, let’s try and catch up.”

They did not, in fact, catch up to Izuku.

--Ball Throw--

At this point, their sensei said fuck alphabetical order and had them come up depending on who finished last in the long distance to whoever finished first. Izuku was feeling pretty happy about that. His friends, to spite him, just continued to skate around instead of walking. Fucking bastards.

Both Monoma and Hitoshi had decided to use Ankle Girl to their advantage for this activity. Hitoshi had easily brainwashed her into touching the ball for him, leaving him to just yeet it into the stratosphere. Meanwhile, Monoma just copied her quirk and did the same. By the time it was finally Izuku’s turn he stood in the circle for a moment bouncing the ball from one hand to another. Testing the weight.

Once he felt satisfied, he began to manipulate the surrounding air subtly before throwing the ball. The moment he let the ball go, and it went soaring into the air, a large rush of wind blasted passed everyone. He didn’t have complete control of his wind, but he sure as hell learned a thing or two while training it in that forest, running from Toph. The air scooter earlier was something he had been working on for the past few weeks in his free time. He had thought that it would be more efficient when in unstable terrains, and when the speed is necessary.

“725 meters.” Aizawa announced once the distance was recorded on the phone. Saving the result, he pressed a button to call the ball back.

“I’ve had enough with just watching!!” small explosions began to go off making everyone’s eyes turn to the angry blond, “Deku you fucking bastard!!” He ran forward, hand out and ready to explode, the freckled boy, “Tell me what the hell is going on!!”

Izuku frowned, feeling his hands tremble. Balling them into fists, he slowly yet shakily stood firm as he glared down Bakugou. Monoma and Shinso were quick to bolt forward on their skates, ready to tackle the male down.

A white capture scarf wrapped around the angry male, forcing him to stop in his tracks. Not looking a gift horse in it’s mouth, the two friends skated around him and to a stop in front of their short companion.

“What the hell!?” Bakugou growled, trying to escape, “M - my quirk…!”

“I erased it.” their sensei glared harshly at the explosive boy, “I don’t know who you think you are, but you don’t go around attacking other people. Especially on school grounds and especially in front of me. If I see this type of bullshit again, you’re getting expelled, understand?” When he received no response other than a growl, he tugged on his capture scarf, not enough to hurt but enough to make him uncomfortable.

“Am. I. Understood?”

“Yes sir.” Bakugou hissed through his teeth.

“Good.” Red eyes finally closed. Opening once again revealed black charcoal eyes, and he retracted the scarf, “All of you, get back to the group, I’m putting up the scores.”

Izuku and his friends walked past Bakugou as they followed the man’s directions. Said blond just stood there in utter bewilderment at what had just transpired. Nobody, especially teachers, have ever spoken to him like that before. What the fuck just happened?

(っ^▿^)۶🍸🌟🍺٩(˘◡˘ )

“Your score from every test has been added up. There’s no use in me telling you, so I’ll just display it for you all. “ Aizawa sensei explained casually as he tapped away on the phone with a thumb. Finally, finding the blasted display button, he pressed it.

Izuku gave his friends a smug smile as he crossed his arms over his chest. Monoma and Hitoshi both frowned and began skating around him in circles. The green haired boy’s eyebrow twitched at their action. God, he really wants one of those.

“Oh by the way, I was lying about expelling one of you.” Aizawa sensei states as he turns off the hologram. A sharp breath is taken by the invisible girl, her shoulders slacked in relief. The older man gives his class a large shit eating grin, “It was just a logical ruse to make you all do your best.”

“Eeehh!?” Most of the class shouted in shock

“Of course it was a lie. It should have been obvious if you just thought it through, you know.” The girl with long black hair that made the skates earlier sighed.

“Doubtful.” Izuku replied as he stretched his arms up towards the clear sky, “Aizawa sensei expelled his whole class last year.” Once his bones made a satisfying pop, the boy let out a breath of relief, “It’s on his record on the school website. It’s public knowledge.”

“Jebus we saved ourselves then…” a girl with short dark purple hair sighed in relief, a hand over her heart.

“I thought I was done for…” The invisible girl sighs out, crouching down as she took a few deep breaths.

“Well, we’re done here. Go change, there are handouts with the curriculum and all that in the classroom on my desk. Make sure to look over them.” Aizawa waved his class off before walking back to the building himself.

(っ^▿^)💨

“It’s barely 1, but I already feel like we went through a whole school day.” Monoma sighs as the trio walked to the gate to exit.

“I just want to meet up with our parents and have that dinner they promised us.” Hitoshi mumbles, earning hums in agreement.

"Hey~! Wait up!" Three pairs of eyes turn to see the ankle girl running over.

"Ankle girl." Monoma hums in greeting once she slows to a stop in front of them.

"Oh! It's actually Ochaco Uraraka! Ummm hold on, you're…  Monoma Nito, right?" The blonds nod makes her brown eyes sparkle in triumph and turn to the next person, "Ummm Shinso Hitoshi aaaannnd…" she looks up at Izuku's hair before shaping her fingers, "Midoriya Deku!"

"Deku?" Izuku frowns at the cruel nickname. He honestly hasn't heard it in a long time, till today. He's really starting to miss online school already.

"Huh? But the angry blond dude, Bakugou?, called you that earlier?" Uraraka tilted her head slightly in curiosity.

"Ah…  that…  that's not my name." Izuku took a few deep breaths to relax. A hand gripped into the cuff of Hitoshi's blazer in an attempt to ground himself, "That's actually a cruel nickname he gave me when I was younger. My name is Izuku."

"O-oh! I'm sorry! I didn't know it was used in a cruel way!" Uraraka waves her hands around in apology, "I thought it was the other word, you know, the one meaning "you can do it!" That one."

"Ah, that's very kind of you but…  I would prefer it if you didn't call me that. At all." Izuku gave her a small smile.

"Mhm! Of course! I never meant to offend! Sorry about that…"

"It's alright"

"Hello!" Everyone turned to look behind Uraraka to find Iida, "What did you all think of Aizawa sensei today? I was shocked to learn that he had expelled a whole class before. I didn't expect such a thing from a teacher of Yuuei."

"I know, right? I was totally surprised!" Uraraka turned to the male, "Oh! By the way, I'm Uraraka Ochako! Ummm hmmm you're Iida Tenya right?"

"Yes, you are correct!" Before Iida could turn to them expectantly or Uraraka could introduce them, Monoma threw his arms around his friend's shoulders.

"Well it's been nice speaking with you, but we have to go, we're meeting our parents at the coffee shop a block down" he smiled widely, both his friends giving him curious stares.

"Oh! You're not going to the train station?" Uraraka pouted, "I was hoping we could all walk together."

"Maybe next time. We don't want to keep our family's waiting." Everyone was quick to bid their goodbyes before Monoma dragged his friends off.

"The fuck was that about?" Hitoshi raised a brow.

"Iida doesn't know our names, I kept him distracted during roll call too by throwing pebbles at his back." Monoma responded simply.

Izuku tilted his head slightly in confusion, "why?"

"He was being loud this morning and remembered that he yelled at you guys at the entrance exam. Also, he rudely paid attention to Mido as if we weren't even there." Monoma explained, a sly smirk working its way to his lips as he spoke, "So I decided not to tell him our names. It's going to drive him crazy. We know his name, but he doesn't know ours, it'll make him feel like the asshole who forgot our names."

"Pfff that's so passive-aggressive." Hitoshi snorted.

"That will only work for so long though, this is a school Monoma. He's going to learn our names eventually." Izuku responded, a wide grin on his lips.

"Not if I could help it." Monoma smiles.

Notes:

Aizawa being a competent, responsible adult? Yes, PLZ! I hated the way Aizawa handled Bakugou's outburst towards Izuku and how he completely ignored the fact that he was about to ATTACK A STUDENT WITH HIS QUIRK. LIKE- SIR!? SIR!! I used to be bullied when I was younger. When I started middle school I was quick to get on my teacher's good graces, why? I liked eating in the classroom to avoid the bullies. I hated when they had to go to the office to turn shit in though, nd once one of my lax, chill teacher had to go nd when they came back to see me getting picked on, boy. I've never seen them so mad. Anyway, I'ma base Aizawa off that teacher, they were my favorite, even helped me build up my confidence a little. I even made a handful of friends. It was a good year.

Momo and Iida are very much well liked characters, and they are so nice! Let's be real though... they're rich kids... Like when I first saw IIda and Momo in the anime and their first lines, my brain went "what an asshole." I know they grew up sheltered an all that jazz, but they're going to be unintentional assholes. Say asshole things without meaning to offend anyone, they're going to be oblivious to social ques (I.E. Iida jumping into the conversation the way he did and not knowing when someone is subtly insulting him) and all that stuff. Yes, they are smart kids, but growing up sheltered, and rich is sure to leave you lacking in a few things. The same goes to Shoto, but he's currently irrelevant, soooo you have time to prepare for that.
I think I am bad at character development? Katsuki is a very complicated character, but I'll do what I can with him. I hope to not disappoint.

Okay so a rant. WTF was Horikoshi thinking when he made Yuuei?!? Yuuei!? Like- not only is the school too big for it's own good but why a giant H!? Giant H!? H for hero!? BRO JUST MAKE IT NORMAL. Not just that, but the fact that it's like 10 floors is mind-boggling to me! WTF is in all those floors!? They're NOT all classrooms! I know they're not!

TBh I stopped writing because my brain decided to hyper focus on this detail till I drew a Map and Floor plans that made sense. Even made the building a bit smaller, 7 floors. I converted buildings 6, 8 and 9 into special gyms. Why? Cause if the library, teachers offices, and student center was in a different building then WTF was in the main building!? Anyway, I can't do straight lines and Krita doesn't like helping me with that. Pretend everything is Even. I'm not a floor designer, but I did my best.

I didn't know what else to put into the 2nd floor for the gen ed and hero course student's, so I left them blank. The reason I placed each department in their own building is cause it already seems like all the departments are divided, and they all obviously dislike the hero course. I also placed Gen Ed in a corner to show how the school would prefer the Hero students to be next to the departments that would benefit them the most. I didn't add it, but I think Recovery girl should be somewhere on the main floor cause if something happens in the gyms they can just run to her faster. I also think that Nedzu should have a second office somewhere on the floor, for when he has meetings with parents and all that.

The Beta gym and field is now used by all the students(except Hero course) for basic P.E. class because I refuse to believe they don't have physical education. (In my high school, we were required to take two years of P.E.) Gym and field Gamma is mainly used for outside quirk training. Gym Alpha is used mainly by destructive or dangerous quirks. Gym Delta has obstacle courses all over the place. Gym Epsilon is now a mini USJ and has a shooting range in it(I refuse to believe students with elemental based quirks would go all the way there to train.)

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. A astounding month. A remarkable day or night. Until next time~
