Six months later.

(It's been six months since Ares asked Reagan to marry her and two months since Ares Mark and Kate all decided to go in together partner up to buy up Tucson's oldest

Tourist attraction Old Tucson Studio's and did a grand reopening by reopening it in October and doing Old Tucson's yearly event Nightfall which everyone of their

friends loved and enjoyed going to mainly when both Mark and Adele would send one of the actors after Kate and Kara who would quickly run off before they could get

them through out that night all three new owners would talk to the visitors and actors before anymore people came close to them and they told them that them buying Old

Tucson was one of the greatest things to happen to Tucson and are forever grateful to the three of them before they would walk off.)

Ares: I'd say us buying this place was a success.
Mark: Oh yeah. And i really couldn't of done it without you two.
Kate: It's no problem Mark really.

(He looks at her and smiles at her.)

Ares: What's the next big event they use to do?
Mark: I was actually talking to someone else who use to come here.
Ares: And?
Mark: She said they use to host a Christmas thing here.
Ares: Really?
Mark: Yeah. Maybe we should think about doing that.
Ares: Sounds good.
Kate: Very good.
Mark: Maybe could get J'onn to play Santa.

(They walk of laughing at the joke. In between buying Old Tucson and reopening it for everyone whose loved going there for years and are going to love it even more in

the years to come. Not long after they all got back to Gotham from Tucson after grand reopening both Reagan and Ares went right back into wedding planning. While they

were planning their wedding Reagan's ex made an appearance and the first person they thought of was Sophie but she quickly told them she had nothing to do with it and

given how Sophie's done a complete one-eighty when as far as Reagan goes so they start looking into other people who have it out against them but when they haven't

found anyone they do everything they can to try and ignore Olivia's tries at trying to get Reagan back and it was working out very until she started calling Reagan in

the middle of night trying to get her to talk to her and with every night calls keep coming in Ares finally grabs the phone and shuts the ringer off and then went back

to sleep when the next morning came around both Ares and Reagan would talk and Ares would tell her to put a restraining order against and Reagan said she would but when

she wouldn't it continue to cause them problems to the point to where it actually them into an actual fight which is something Olivia wanted but the person Reagan goes

to isn't Olivia in fact the person she goes just happens to be one of her bestfriends who does little to help her out. And she tries to start something with him.)

Mark: No look Reagan i love you i do. And i know Ares does that's why she's been putting up with Olivia's harassment calls she loves you more than you'll ever know but

she's right. Olivia is never going to stop until you put a stop to it.
Reagan: Filing a restraining order isn't going to do anything Mark.
Mark: But it might. If you'd just listen to what Ares has to say Reagan and not blow up at her the minute she brings up you needing to put a restraining order against

her i know you wanna see Olivia as the woman he fell in love with at one point. But i'm sorry someone like Olivia isn't Marley Rose she isn't going to change Reagan the

only thing Olivia cares about is herself. She doesn't care if she's causing problems between you and Ares and you can give me that look all you want. You know it's

true. Reagan i was there during her hell on earth problems with you. I saw how she treated you and saw how Marley's brother treated Veracity but there was nothing i

could do to stop it. But you can stop it all you have to do is get over your Queen freaken ego and tell Olivia where the hell to put it.

(She looks at him and knows he's right.)

Reagan: I know you're right. But she was my first girlfriend and i did love her.
Mark: And it showed. But Reagan the only thing she cares is herself and herself alone. She doesn't care about you.
Reagan: Mark!
Mark: I'm sure at one point she did care about you and wanted to be with you. But she's never going to change.
Reagan: I know that.
Mark: Reagan i look at Ares and see a woman who wants to be there for you and wants to marry you. And i look at Olivia and all see is a woman who is doing everything

she can to try and break up your relationship with a woman whose very much in love with you. And i have a feeling with the way you've been blowing up at Ares lately

she just end up successed in something she's been trying to do you just can't see it.

Reagan: I just. I can't lose Ares Mark i really can't i love her.
Mark: Well than stop letting Olivia get in the middle of you two. And don't even think about saying she isn't. Because i haven't seen you two have this much trouble

since Sophie and that was only because she had Jesse in her ear about wanting to help get raid of you.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Reagan: I love her Mark.

(He walks over to her and hugs her getting her to smile at him then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: I know you do. But you have to stop letting Olivia think she can come between you and Ares because that's what you're doing and she knows it.
Reagan: I know that. It's just you and Ares are right. I can't see it because up until her and Kate she was the woman i loved and wanted to be with. I didn't care if

she was hurting me in the long run. Ollie and Thea could see it and so could both Sara and Laurel.

Mark: They still can. Only thing is you're not even with the bitch anymore and she's still running your life.
Reagan: I just. I know if i put a restraining order against her all she's gonna do is send her con artist brother after us.

(He looks at her and than looks off.)

Mark: Let me and the other Crows deal with Cutter you just find away to get Olivia off of your guys backs.
Reagan: Okay i can do that.
Mark: Okay.
Reagan: And if i can't do that. I'll sick Kate on her.

(He looks at her and laughs as she turns and walks out of the apartment as she walks out Mark calls up Tyler who answers right away.)

Tyler: Hey man what's up?
Mark: See if you guys can't find Cutter Wentworth.
Tyler: Okay. But why?
Mark: I have a feeling once Reagan tells Olivia where to put it she's gonna get her brother involved.
Tyler: Okay.
Mark: Thanks man.
Tyler: Anytime.

(Then he hangs up with him and gets annoyed with Reagan's ex.)

Mark: Damn it.

(Later over at the Crows Mark walks in and over to Tyler who hands him what he found out about Cutter Wentworth.)

Mark: This all of it?
Tyler: That's within the last ten years.

(Mark looks through it.)

Tyler: You really worried about her getting in contact with this loser?
Mark: I am. I mean me and my family have to deal with this prick before. But There is really no reason why Ares and Reagan have to deal with him.
Tyler: Yeah that's all i could find on him. Well given.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Yeah i hear ya.

(As he continues to look through everything he comes up to something and looks at him.)

Mark: Oh you've got to be fucken kidding me.
Tyler: What?
Mark: This tool dated Wendy Seager.

(Tyler looks at him.)

Tyler: Your friend Severide's girlfriend?
Mark: Yeah. He finds out she's seeing someone else he's bound to go after them.
Tyler: He as bad as his sister?
Mark: Yeah.

(He grabs out his phone and calls Severide. Over in Chicago over at Severide's apartment his phone goes off and Casey sees it and answers it.)

Casey: Hello!
Mark: Casey!
Casey: Yeah.
Mark: Is Severide there?
Casey: Yeah. Hey Severide.
Severide: Yeah.
Casey: It's Mark.

(He takes the phone from her.)

Severide: Hey what's up?
Mark: You still seeing Seager?
Severide: Yeah why?
Mark: Because i just found out who her ex is.

(He looks around.)

Severide: Who the hell is?
Mark: Cutter Wentworth.

(He puts his head down annoyed.)

Severide: She told me about him. But.
Mark: She never mentioned he's the ex?
Severide: No. And given some of the stories you told us about him. I can't really blame her.
Mark: I just wanted you to keep an eye out for him.
Severide: I will thanks for the warning.
Mark: You bet. And I wouldn't get to mad at her Severide. Like you said there's a reason why she didn't tell you he was her ex.
Severide: I won't.

(Then he hangs up with Mark and puts the phone down.)

Casey: You are right?
Severide: Not really.

(He looks at him.)

Casey: What's up?
Severide: I just found out that Cutter Wentworth.
Casey: Okay.
Severide: Is Seagers is ex boyfriend.

(He looks at him and laughs off the annoyance.)

Casey: And given the stories Mark's told us over the years about the Wentworth's i can't really say that i blame her for not tell you.
Severide: So can i.
Casey: Well come on we gotta get to work.
Severide: Yeah.

(He grabs up his key's and they leave the apartment to go work. As they leave his phone goes off again he grabs it out to see who it is seeing the number he quickly

grows annoyed and mutes it.)

Casey: What?
Severide: Stella!
Casey: She really isn't going to let up on the fact that you and Seager are together is she?
Severide: Nope. And i'm not about to break up with her either.
Casey: What if she uses the fact that Seager never told you about the ex?
Severide: I love and trust Seager Casey. Like i said i understand why she didn't tell me the prick was her ex.
Casey: There you go.

(He starts laughing at him. Later over at Head Quarters in the OFI office Severide walks in and looks for Seager. As he's looking for her she walks out of one of the

offices.)

Wendy: Kelly!

(He turns and looks at her.)

Severide: Hey.
Wendy: Hey. What's up?
Severide: I got a call from Mark this morning.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Wendy: My sister driving him insane again?
Severide: Among other things.
Wendy: Okay what's wrong?
Severide: Ares and Reagan are having some problems with Reagan's ex and was worried about Olivia getting her brother involved.
Wendy: Okay.
Severide: He found out that Cutter's your ex.

(She looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Wendy: I some how had a feeling that was going to come up.
Severide: I can understand why you wouldn't o told me that he's your ex.
Wendy: Well i'm glad you can.
Severide: What?
Wendy: I got a visit from your ex.

(He looks at her and looks off annoyed.)

Severide: Okay come on tell me what she say?
Wendy: She tried to tell me that you were going to be so pissed off that i did tell you that Cutter Wentworth is my ex.
Severide: I'm not. Believe i would of been if i hadn't of met the prick before hand.

(She laughs at him as the door opens and Mark walks into office.)

Wendy: Mark!
Mark: Hey.
Severide: How?
Mark: Benefits of being friends with Supergirl.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Mark: I'm sorry. It's just.
Wendy: What?
Mark: Have you heard from your sister?

(She looks at him.)

Wendy: No why?
Mark: Because Emily's been trying to get a hold of her but she's not answering any of her calls. And that's not like Serenity.
Wendy: No it's not.

(She walks over to her phone and picks it up to call her once she has her number she calls her as Mark and Severide talk.)

Severide: Yeah Stella's are ready come by and talk to her about the whole thing with.
Mark: Really?
Severide: Yeah.
Mark: And.
Severide: Stella is one person you don't want to try and ignore.
Mark: I'm sure she's not. But i'm sure you can try.
Severide: Not when i work with her.

(Mark looks at him and nods his head at him.)

Mark: True.

(Then they look over at Wendy who puts her phone down.)

Mark: You are right?

(She turns and looks at him.)

Wendy: Yeah i can't get her on the phone.

(Mark nods his head at her as he hears something through his comm from Kara.)

Mark: What?
Kara: There's an accident on the bridge leading to the House of blues.
Mark: What kind of car is it?
Kara: From what i can see it's ford.

(Mark looks at Wendy and Severide. Realizing who it belongs to rushes from the office quickly followed by Severide.)

Severide: Mark!
Mark: I have a feeling i know why we can't get a hold of Serenity.
Severide: Why not?
Mark: Kara just saw a ford pick up.
Severide: Who you know.
Mark: Come on.

(They rush from the building. Later over at the bridge Severide stops and puts the car in park as Mark rushes from it and over to the truck as he gets there he sees

whose in it then gets annoyed.)

Severide: Mark!
Mark: It's Evermoist.

(He quickly grabs up his phone and calls 911 as Mark breaks the glass and feels a pulse on one of the members necks feeling one he gives off a sign of relief as the

trucks and Ambulance arrive from 51. Mark looks over at them and then looks at the four women in the truck and gets annoyed as he grabs out his phone and calls Jacob

who answers right away.)

Jacob: Commander Kane.
Mark: Yeah Commander it's Mark.
Jacob: What's going on?
Mark: Sir you need to come to Chicago right now.
Jacob: What's wrong?
Mark: Evermoist were in an accident and by the looks of the other three members i don't think their breathing.
Jacob: Oh god.

(He hangs up and calls Kate who quickly answers.)

Kate: Dad.
Jacob: Grab your sister and meet me outside of your building.
Kate: What's wrong?
Jacob: Evermoist was in an accident and it doesn't look good.

(She hangs up and calls Mary who answers and she tells her the samething she quickly hangs up with Kate and rushes over to her building. Back over in Chicago Mark and

Severide are helping the firehouse get the members out of Calamity's truck.)

Joe: Mark i need your help over here.

(Mark hands Veracity off to Capp as he rushes over to Calamity's side.)

Mark: She breathing?
Joe: She's barely got a pulse but she's still with us.
Mark: Are right.

(He helps keep her steady as the work on getting the door driver side open. Once it's open he helps them get her out of it and onto a back board once she's on it they

pick her up and put her onto a gurney.)

Dawson: You are right?
Mark: I'm fine. Anything on the other car?
Blake: I don't see another car.
Mark: So what the hell happened?

(He shrugs his shoulders at him.)

Mark: Shit. Severide!
Severide: She's still breathing.

(He nods his head at him as Dawson and Brett work on Calamity as their working on her Mark backs up and looks around the area. Later over at the hospital Mark's

sitting down in Med's waiting room waiting for news on all four Evermoist members as he's waiting Jacob rushes into the building as Kate walks over to Mark whose got

his head down as she gets to him she grabs his hands getting him to look up at her.)

Kate: Hey.
Mark: Hi.
Kate: Anything?
Mark: No. They rushed them all into surgery. I called Oliver and the other's they said they were on the way.
Kate: Okay.

(He stands up and looks into the ER waiting for news on his friends.)

Mark: We just got Calamity back Kate we can't lose her again. And i know for a damn fact that Beca can't lose her again.
Kate: I know she can't.

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: CPD are still out at the scene looking it over. I don't even think they've moved the truck yet.

(She looks at him and then looks off as he stands there not sure of what else to say.)

Kate: Where's Adele?
Mark: They had just gone out on another mission. I can't reach her.

(He grabs out his phone and she grabs it from him.)

Kate: If she's out on a mission calling her again is probably not a good idea.
Mark: Yeah i know that.

(She looks at him and can tell he's trying his hardest to keep from losing it but is having a very hard time.)

Kate: Mark!

(He looks at her then looks off as he falls to the floor and she quickly pulls him into a hug as he breaks down in his friends arms. As he's crying Jacob walks in and

looks at Mary.)

Mary: He's got a lot on his mind and this accident isn't helping any.

(He looks at her and nods his head at her. Over the next couple of hours they remain there waiting for news on all four Evermoist members as their waiting Oliver and

the other's walk in and Kate gets up to go and talk to him as she gets to him she tells him what happened and he looks off as he looks at Thea whose sitting down with

her head down as Ares and Reagan rush in Reagan seeing Mark on the floor rushes over to him as she gets to him he looks up at her and smiles at her.)

Reagan: Hey.
Mark: Hi.
Reagan: You okay?

(He looks at her and then looks of as he shakes his head at her.)

Reagan: Their all gonna pull through this Mark.
Mark: I sure as hell hope so.

(She smiles at him as she sits down next to him as she sits there he looks over at Ares whose talking with Kate and Oliver.)

Reagan: We were on our way to the courthouse when we got the call from Kate about the accident.

(He looks at her.)

Reagan: Restraining order against Olivia.
Mark: Oh.
Reagan: You kidding with all of the work Mary's helped us put into the wedding. You really think we'd elope.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Yeah Mary would kill you two.
Reagan: Yes she would.

(They start laughing then calm down as Mark's phone goes off he grabs it out to see who it is seeing who it is he answers it.)

Mark: Hey.
Adele: Hey. I got your messages what's wrong?
Mark: Uh there was an accident and we're in the hospital.
Adele: You are right?
Mark: Uh i'm fine. But it's not me that's in the hospital.
Adele: Who is it?
Mark: All four Evermoist members.

(She puts her head down annoyed.)

Adele: I wish i could be there with you.
Mark: Yeah i know you do. But what you're doing is more important.
Adele: Not as important as you.
Mark: Yeah babe i know that. But i'll be fine. Reagan and her family are here so.
Adele: You gonna be okay?
Mark: Yeah. Call and let me know when you guys done will ya?
Adele: I will. Their gonna pull this Mark.
Mark: I know they will.
Adele: Okay well i better go.
Mark: Okay. Love you.
Adele: Love you too.

(Then he hangs up with her as he puts his head back.)

Reagan: She okay?
Mark: Yeah she's fine.
Reagan: So you two are saying I love you's now?
Mark: Yeah. I told her that night we did the grand reopening of Old Tucson.
Reagan: You guys said i love you for the first time at Nightfall.
Mark: Yes.
Reagan: Wow.
Mark: Yeah. It's just in between getting things going on with Old Tucson to your guys planning your wedding to well this.
Reagan: Yeah. It's been a crazy six months.
Mark: Yeah.
Reagan: You wouldn't happen to know of someone who could perform at our wedding would you?

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Really?
Reagan: Yeah.
Mark: You two are worse than Aubrey and Stacie.

(She starts laughing at the joke.)

Reagan: Okay so it wasn't the smartest move to wait until two weeks of the wedding?
Mark: I'd say them but.
Reagan: We had asked them but given where they are?

(He looks at her.)

Mark: Yeah. I don't think they'll be doing any concerts or wedding's for a while.
Reagan: Hey.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Their my friends Reagan. I just i can't think of a worse way to lose them all.
Reagan: I know. And i know you love Adele?

(He looks at her and smiles at her.)

Reagan: Where are the?
Mark: They had to return their house and wait for the next call. Wendy's around here somewhere.

(She nods her head at him. Over by Thea she sees someone sitting off on her own and gets up to go over to her as she gets to her she sits down next to her.)

Thea: Hi.

(Wendy looks over at her and smiles at her.)

Wendy: Hi.
Thea: Thea Queen.
Wendy Wendy Seager.

(Thea looks at her.)

Thea: Why's that last name sound so familiar?
Wendy: Serenity's my twin sister.

(Thea looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Thea: Wow.
Wendy: Yeah. You know my sister?
Thea: Yeah i'm kind of dating one of her bandmates.
Wendy: Which one?
Thea: Veracity Kane.
Wendy: Kate's adopted sister?
Thea: Yeah.
Wendy: Wow.
Thea: Yeah really.
Wendy: You happy?

(Thea looks at her and nods her head at her.)

Thea: Yeah she makes me happy. She's hot.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Wendy: She is that.
Thea: Yeah. So you're Serenity's sister?
Wendy: I am. We lost contact for a little over ten years after she came out to our parents about being Bi.

(She looks at her and feels bad for her.)

Thea: I'm sorry.
Wendy: It's fine. I have her in my life again. I just hope i don't lose her.
Thea: She's as stubborn as her lead singers and her bandmates she'll pull through this no matter what happened.
Wendy: I hope so.
Thea: Hey.

(She looks at her and laughs.)

Wendy: I'm sorry it's just i love my sister and i really don't want to lose her.
Thea: She'll pull through this.
Wendy: Like i said i hope so.

(Just then the paramedics from 51 arrive back at the hospital and rush into the hospital with another gurney and with someone on it Mark seeing who it is quickly gets

up and rushes over to them and looks at him.)

Mark: Morgan!

Mark: Morgan!

(Both Brett and Dawson look at him.)

Brett: You know him?
Mark: Yeah this is Sonny and Carly Corinthos youngest. Morgan.

(They both look at him.)

Dawson: Let us get him into ER and we'll tell you where he was.

(Mark nods his head at her as he backs up and sits down on the chair behind him. As he sits there Reagan rushes over to him.)

Reagan: Hey.

(He looks up at her.)

Mark: Hi.
Reagan: How you?
Mark: Like i said he's Sonny and Carly Corinthos youngest.
Reagan: Oh god.
Mark: I really hope he didn't cause the accident.
Reagan: I he did the police will find out.
Mark: Yeah.

(She looks at him and then looks off. After dropping Morgan off with the doctors Dawson and Brett walk out of the ER and over to Mark.)

Dawson: Hey Mark.

(He looks up at them then he stands up.)

Mark: What the hell happened?
Brett: We found him about twenty to thirty feet from Calamity's truck.
Mark: He hit them?
Dawson: We can't be sure. But given how much damage was done to his car. We think so.

(He looks at them and then looks off as he walks out of the hospital to go and starts punching the wall which gets one of his friends to rush up to and grabs him away from it as

he continues to beat on the wall she grabs him and hangs to him as he falls to the ground.)

Sara: Mark!

(He looks at her and then looks off again.)

Mark: I just.

(She looks at him and then to his hand.)

Mark: I just found out that Sonny and Carly's son could of been the reason why Calamity and the other girls were in the accident.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Sara: Oh god.
Mark: Hearing that. I just i didn't wanna see anyone in there. Mainly Wendy.
Sara: Mark what he did or didn't do wasn't your fault.
Mark: I know that. But we all know how one reporter would of turned the story around.
Sara: Yeah well he's not an issue anymore.
Mark: I know that.
Sara: They'll pull through this.
Mark: I know they will.
Sara: Okay.

(She helps him up as they walk off back inside of the hospital as they walk in they See Ares talking with one of the doctors as she's talking to him Mary walks over to Mark and

looks his hand over as she's looking at it he sits down and she continues to check to see if he's broken any bones when she can't see anything she grabs a bandage out of her bag

and starts wrapping it up getting him to laugh at her.)

Mark: You're gonna make one hell of a doctor someday.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Mary: Kate and Veracity tell me the samething.
Mark: They'd be right.
Mary: I sure hope so.

(He smiles at her as she finishes wrapping up his hand once she's done Ares walks over to them.)

Mark: How are right?
Ares: Serenity and Charity are out of surgery.
Mark: They okay?
Ares: Yeah they made it through their surgeries.

(He nods his head at her.)

Reagan: Babe you said it was just Serenity and Charity out of surgery?
Ares: Yeah. Calamity and Veracity are still in surgery.
Mark: Why?
Ares: I don't know. He said once they know more they'll come out and tell us. But as far as Serenity and Charity go he say's they believe they'll make a full recovery.
Mark: Can we see them?
Ares: He said their still in recovery. But once their out and in a room he was gonna send a nurse out to come and talk to us.
Mark: Okay.
Ares: And he also said they just took your friend Morgan into surgery.
Mark: Okay.
Ares: You are right?
Mark: Five of my friends are in here fighting for their lives so no am i'm not. God The Bellas.
Mia: I called them on the way here.
Mark: Where were they?
Mia: Headed back from New York.
Mark: Concert?
Mia: One night only.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mia: No they were there for Jimmy Fallen so.
Mark: Oh.
Mia: Yeah Evermoist was supposed to go and support them. But the show here kind of got thrown at them.
Mark: When?
Mia: I don't know. Your detective friends are looking into it.
Mark: Yeah are right. I gotta call Sonny.
Reagan: Okay.

(He grabs his phone out and walks outside to go make the call once he's found Sonny's number he dial's it and waits for him to answer as he's waiting he's thinking about the five

people in the hospital right now due to one accident is wondering whose behind it as he's thinking about it the phone picks up.)

Sonny: Mark!
Mark: Yeah hey Sonny.
Sonny: What's wrong?
Mark: How fast can you and Carly get to Chicago.
Sonny: Why?
Mark: It's Morgan.

(He falls silent on the other end and looks at his wife his son and his daughter in law who look worried.)

Sonny: Morgan!
Mark: Yeah.
Sonny: What's wrong with him?
Mark: There was an accident.

(He looks around not sure of what to say.)

Sonny: What kind of an accident?
Mark: Car accident he ramed into a truck. Of so we believe it was him seeing as to how much damage was done to his car.
Sonny: Who'd he hit?
Mark: Calamity and her bandmates they were headed here for a show.

(He puts his head down.)

Sonny: They are right?
Mark: Two of the members are out of surgery but Calamity and Veracity are still in surgery.
Sonny: Oh god. We're on the next flight out there.
Mark: Okay.

(Then he hangs up as he hangs up he drops the phone onto his desk. Which Michael to look up at him then he stands up to walk over to him.)

Michael: Dad.

(He looks up at him.)

Sonny: Your brother was in an accident we need to get to Chicago.
Michael: How bad is it?
Sonny: Bad he slammed into Calamity's truck.

(He looks at him as he looks back at Willow who looks worried.)

Willow: Let's go.

(They rush off to go home and pack somethings to fly out to Chicago. As they rush off Carly walks over to him.)

Carly: Hey.
Sonny: We just got him back Carly we can't lose him again so soon.
Carly: We won't come on.

(They both walk towards the stairs to go upstairs to pack some stuff to fly out to Chicago. Back over in Chicago their all there waiting for news on Veracity and Calamity as their

waiting they were told they could go and see Serenity and Charity. Over the next several hours everyone is still at the hospital waiting for news on both Calamity and Veracity as

they were all waiting the Bellas had arrived as they had arrived at the hospital both Emily and Cynthia had rushed off towards their wives rooms to go and see them as they got to

them they both saw how bad it was given how they were both hooked up to all of these machines that is helping keep them alive. As Emily and Cynthia got to go and see Serenity

and Charity Beca remained out in the waiting area waiting for news on Calamity as their all waiting Sonny and his family walk in and Mark walks over to them.)

Michael: How are they?
Mark: Serenity and Charity are doing just fine. Calamity and Veracity we're still not sure about them.
Michael: What the hell?
Mark: I don't know. I mean we won't know until Morgan comes out of surgery what the hell happened.

(He nods his head at him as Jay walks into the hospital seeing him Mark walks over to him.)

Mark: Hey.
Jay: Hey.
Mark: You are right?

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Jay: That's a loaded question.
Mark: Jay!

(He looks at him and then looks off.)

Jay: We've been going over your friends car and we came across a problem.
Mark: What kind of problem?
Jay: Someone messed with the breaks on his car.

(Mark looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Mark: Shit.
Jay: For all we know he could of been trying to stop the car.
Mark: But due to the breaks being messed with.
Jay: He slammed into Calamity's truck.
Mark: Lovely.
Jay: Do you have anyone who would want to Morgan?
Mark: Sonny's got so many enemies Jay it's not even funny.
Jay: Name one?
Mark: I can name two.
Jay: Okay.
Mark: Julian and Ava Jerome.

(He looks at him and then writes down the names.)

Jay: Have any idea on why they'd wanna kill him again?

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: I don't know a lot all i do know is that when Morgan came back. Both Julia and Ava tried to him back onto their side but when he came back he had no memory of had happened to him.

Jay: What killed him in the first place?
Michael: There was bomb placed in the car that he had taken off with.
Jay: Know whose car it was?
Michael: It was Julian Jerome's car.
Jay: And why would your brother take off in it?
Michael: He he'd had a fight with Ava.
Jay: Over what?
Michael: It had something to do with Kiki.
Jay: Whose that?
Mark: She's Ava Jerome's daughter or was.

(He looks at him and nods his head at them.)

Jay: How'd she die?
Michael: She was shot. We still don't know who did it.
Jay: It's still unsolved.
Mark: Yeah. That's pretty much things work in a lot places. There are so many mob hits now a days.
Michael: Yeah mainly given my father's line of work.
Mark: Yeah well i have a feeling Kiki being killed had nothing to do with Sonny.
Michael: I know that.

(He looks at him and smiles at him.)

Jay: So you think this Julian and Ava Jerome could be involved in this accident as well.
Michael: Knowing Ava and Julian i wouldn't be surprised.
Jay: Okay let me know if you guys learn of anything on their condition.
Mark: You bet.

(Then he turns and walks off as Mark looks at Michael.)

Michael: I swear if they had anything to do with this accident. There's not gonna be anything my mother can do to keep my dad from killing them.
Mark: I know that.

(Then he realize's something and looks at Michael who looks at him.)

Michael: What?
Mark: How did the accident happen.
Michael: Which one?
Mark: The one nearly costed you and Nelle Wiley?
Michael: The brakes on Lucas and Brad's car gave out why.
Mark: Son of a bitch.
Michael: What?
Mark: I think i might of figured out who was behind that accident.

(He rushes off to go and tell Jay. As he gets outside he calls out for him then he walks over to him.)

Jay: You are right?
Mark: Yeah there's something else i wanted to tell you.
Jay: Okay.
Mark: Back in 2019 there was an accident.
Jay: Where?
Mark: Port Charles same type of thing happened involving a car losing it's breaks.
Jay: Okay. Who were the victims of that one?
Mark: Julian Jerome's son and his son in law were in the car when it's brakes gave out.
Jay: Any injuries?
Mark: Yeah his son was in a coma for close to two months.
Jay: When was this?
Mark: Nov,2019.
Jay: So around thanksgiving?
Mark: Yeah.
Jay: Anyone else involved?
Mark: My friend Michael and his ex fiance were involved in the accident only thing is.
Jay: What?
Mark: She was pregnant.

(He looks at him.)

Jay: she was pregnant?
Mark: Yeah.
Jay: How far along?
Mark: She was nine months. She gave birth out on the highway.
Jay: What was her name?
Mark: Janelle Benson-Jerome.

(He looks at him.)

Mark: Long story short she blackmailed her husband into marrying her.
Jay: Why?
Mark: Because she found he was the one behind Lucas and Brads accident.
Jay: Well that just about brings us up on more suspects.
Mark: Yeah Nelle's not gonna be much of a suspect.
Jay: Why not?
Mark: She's dead.

(He looks at him and nods his head at him.)

Jay: Are right thanks we'll look into this other accident in Port Charles.
Mark: Are right and we'll keep you updated on them.
Jay: Are right.

(Then he turns and walks off as he walks off Mark turns and looks at Michael.)

Michael: You told him about Lucas and Brad's accident?
Mark: Yeah.
Michael: Think anything will come of it?
Mark: I sure as hell hope so.

(They walk off back inside of the hospital as they walk in they go sit down again to continue to wait for news on Calamity Veracity and Morgan. Later as their all waiting for news

Will comes out of the ER and Mark walks over to him.)

Mark: Hey.
Ethan: Hey.
Mark: Tell me you have good news?
Ethan: I do actually.
Mark: Calamity and Veracity?
Ethan: They both made it through their surgeries.
Mark: Oh thank god.
Ethan: Yeah.
Mark: What what? I don't like the sound of that.
Ethan: Calamity had swelling in the brain that's why it took so long.
Mark: How bad is that?
Ethan: It mean's we won't know the state of mind she'll be in until she wakes up.

(Mark looks off annoyed.)

Mark: Shit.
Ethan: I'm sorry man.
Mark: It's okay. What about Veracity?
Ethan: Veracity she's a whole other story.
Mark: What?
Ethan: Her heart stopped a couple of times in the OR which is another reason why it took so long with her.
Mark: So what you're saying is?
Ethan: It's going to be long road to recovery for them both. If they make it past the next twenty-four to forty-eight hours we believe they'll make a full recovery.
Mark: What about Morgan Corinthos?
Ethan: As far as i know he's still in surgery.
Mark: Are right thanks man.
Ethan: You're welcome.
Mark: Can we go and see them?
Ethan: Their still in recovery but once we've got em in a room i'll send someone to come and get you.
Mark: Thanks.
Ethan: You bet.

(Then he turns and looks off annoyed then he walks over to Beca and tells her about Calamity.)

Mark: Hey.

(She wakes up and looks at him.)

Beca: Hey how's Calamity?

(He looks at her.)

Mark: She's fine. She made it through her surgery but.
Beca: Really?
Mark: Really. But there were compilations.
Beca: What?

(He goes into explaining what they had to do in order to take down the swelling in her brain. After he finishes Beca's looking at him not sure of what to say to him.)

Beca: I.
Mark: Hey hey. She's stubborn she'll pull through this.
Beca: She had swelling.
Mark: But they were able to take down some of swelling.
Chloe: What's that say for her?
Mark: He said due to the swelling in her brain their not sure what her state of mind is going to be until she wakes up.
Beca: Can can i see her?
Mark: She's still in recovery but he said once their both in rooms they'll come out and get us.
Beca: Okay. Mark i can't lose her. Not again.
Mark: I know you can't. None of us can.
Beca: Okay.

(He kisses his friends head then pulls away from it as he turns and looks at Michael.)

Mark: He's still in surgery.

(He nods his head at him.)

Mark: He's gonna pull through this Michael.
Michael: Yeah i know he will.

(He nods his head at him as Mark goes and sits down again. Once he's seated he sends a text to Jay about Veracity and Calamity's condition's once he's done he sends it and then

gets up to walk outside of the hospital. Over at the police station up in the Intelligence Unit Jay's at his desk as his phone goes off he grabs it up to see who it's from seeing the

number he checks it as he sees what it say's he puts the phone down annoyed with whoever sent Morgan's car into Calamity's truck.)

Hailey: You are right?
Jay: No i'm not.
Kim: What's wrong?
Jay: Veracity Kane and Calamity are out of surgery.
Hailey: How are they?
Jay: Calamity has possible brain damage and is in critical condition as is Veracity Kane.
Kim: Seems like whoever messed with Morgan Corinthos car might of just gotten their wish.
Jay: Yeah. While i was at the hospital Mark did give me a couple of suspects.
Adam: Who?
Jay: Ava and Julian Jerome.

(He puts their pictures up onto the board. They look over at them as Kim walks up to them.)

Kim: Why them?
Jay: According to Mark this man here is part of a big reason why Morgan Corinthos was supposedly killed in a car explosion.
Kim: Oh gees.
Jay: Yeah they never caught the person who blew up the car he was in.
Kim: Where did this happen?
Jay: Mark said it happened in Port Charles.
Adam: And let me guess the Corinthos blame this Julian Jerome for Morgan's death right?
Jay: Yup. But from what else Mark has told me about these two is that. Julian here was also the cause of another accident very much like this one.
Kim: How?
Jay: The brakes on this car were also messed with. Which then resulted in his son and son in law getting into an accident which landed his son in a coma for close to two months.
Hailey: If those two women die and he's connected to this accident.
Jay: Morgan Corinthos won't be the who goes to prison for murder.

(They all look at him and then look off.)

Jay: If we can find out that this guy is connected to their accident we can finally get this man off of the streets.

(They nod their heads at him as they get to work on trying to figure out who messed with Morgan's car in order to get him to crash into Calamity's truck as their working on the

case Mark sends Jay updates on the case including on Morgan who also has just been brought out of surgery and is in the condition as Calamity after getting that text he went

updated the other members of the team and they look off annoyed.)

Adam: We need to seriously this guy off of the streets.
Jay: I agree.

(Then they get back to work. Back over at the hospital in Veracity's room Mark's sitting there thinking he's watching the woman he had been wanting to be with for so long until he

moved on started dating Calamity only to lose her due her still having feelings for Beca in between dating someone else Mark can't help how he still feels for Veracity but know's

he'll never get his chance with her do to her being with someone else and him being with someone else and with as much as he loves Adele and he does love her a lot. But to him

Veracity's the one who got away. And now because of whoever messed with Morgan's car he could lose two of his bestfriends as Mark continues to sit there he hears someone yell

out in the room next to her's and gets up to go see what's going on as he gets to Calamity's room he walks up to Beca.)

Mark: What the hell is going on?
Beca: He's what's going on.

(Mark looks into the room and sees the one man he didn't think they'd see there.)

Mark: What the hell are you doing here Jerome?

(He looks over at him not sure of what to say to him.)

Julian: Hi.
Mark: Don't hi me. What the hell are you doing in my friends room?

(He looks at him and then walks over to them.)

Mark: You and Ava come here to finish the job?

(He looks at him and then looks off.)

Julian: What? No.
Mark: Then what the hell are you doing in her room. Unless you're a friend or a family member you're not allowed in here with her. And the last time i checked you're neither.
Julian: I didn't do this.
Mark: No your right. It wasn't you. It was Morgan but than again his car oddly enough did the samething Lucas's car did when it lost it's breaks.

(Julian looks at him and then looks off.)

Julian: I.
Mark: Hell i wouldn't be surprised if you and Ava did this try and shut Calamity up on whatever it is you think she knows.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Julian: We had nothing to do with this.
Mark: Right kind of like you didn't know that Wiley was really Michael's son with Nelle.

(He looks looks off and can tell Mark's annoyed.)

Mark: I can are ready tell you if her and the other members of the band die i will kill you. But than again.
Julian: What?
Mark: If anything happens to Morgan and he ends up dead again. Guess who i'm straight to with who also knew about Wiley being Michael's son with Nelle.
Julian: You wouldn't.
Mark: Oh and it wouldn't just be Sonny i got to. And imagine the look on Lucas's face when he finds out that you had tried to kill his husband in order to keep his mouth shut.
Julian: Now wait a minute.
Mark: My friends die Julian i'm going straight to Sonny.

(He looks at him and then looks behind him. As Ava goes to put a gun to Mark's back but is quickly beaten to the punch when Ares puts her's to Ava's back which then gets Mark

to turn and look at her.)

Mark: Fast as always Ares.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: I'd put that away Ava.
Ava: Why's that?
Mark: She's faster than you are.

(She quickly puts the gun away but before she can John walks up to her and grabs it from her then looks it over as he's looking it over Mark looks back at Julian.)

Mark: They have people on their side. You two have nothing. So i make one phone call to Sonny about you being a part of his son's accident i can just imagine what he's gonna do you.

(He looks at him and then looks back at the bed Mark realizing why he keeps looking back punches him sending him down as he goes down Mark grabs him up and kicks him in

the stomach getting him to double over.)

Mark: Wick check Calamity over.

(He rushes over to her bed and looks at the machines.)

John: So far so good.

(Mark throws Julian out of her room as he gets thrown out he turns and looks at him.)

Mark: If you or the gold digger ever step foot into his room again and i'll be the one doing the killing. Get these things out of here.
Security: Yes sir.

(They push them towards the exit as Mark walks into the room and looks her over.)

Mark: Bec's go find her doctor.
Beca: Okay.

(She rushes off to go and find Calamity's doctor.)

John: Nothing wrong with the machine.

(Then they hear a heart monitor go off and they look at Calamity's.)

John: It's not this one.

(Mark rushes from her room and towards Veracity's room as he gets there he sees a group of doctor's in there working on her as their working on her Reagan and Kate walk up to him.)

Kate: What's going on?
Mark: She flat lined.

(Kate looks into the room and sees them working on her sister.)

Kate: No.

(She goes to run into the room but Kara grabs her and keeps a hold of her as they continue to work on Veracity Kate's trying to get out of Kara's grip but she's able to keep a hold of her.)

Mark: Kara let's get Kate out of here.
Kara: Okay. Come one.
Kate: No. She's my sister i can't leave her.
Mark: Kate! There's nothing we can until they can get her heart started again.

(They walk her off towards the waiting room to go and wait for hopefully some good news on Veracity. Over the next several minutes they all wait around for news on Veracity as

their waiting Jacob runs in followed by Mary who rushes over to Kate who quickly grabs her into a hug. Mark walks over to him.)

Mark: She flat lined and their back there trying to get her heart started again.
Jacob: What the hell happened?
Mark: I don't know. She was fine while i was in there with her. And then all off a sudden her heart monitor went off.

(He nods his head at him. Then he walks over to his daughters as they sit down and stay with each other as they sit there Mark sits down and puts his head down as he puts it

down he tries to keep from losing it. Over in Veracity's room the doctor's and nurses are doing everything they can to try and get Veracity's heart going again but aren't having any

luck with it as they continue to try and bring her back their still nothing getting anything on the monitor so one of the doctor's decides to call it until Will argues with him.)

Marcel: Will she's gone.
Will: She's my patient not your's and i'll say when to call it not you.
Marcel: Look i'm the.
Will: I don't really care. She's my patient and there's noway in hell i'm giving up on her. You can find as easy as you can to give up on a patient but i sure as hell am not.
April: Will!
Will: I'm not giving up.
Natalie: Will!

(He looks at her.)

Will: She has a family out there waiting for her.
Natalie: We've done all we can.
Will: I know that. But she's my patient not his. He doesn't get a say.

(Marcel looks at him and laughs off the annoyance.)

Natalie: Hey.

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Will: One more try and if we can't get it started after that i'll call it.
Natalie: Okay.

(They charge it one last time in the hopes to get Veracity's heart going again. As they continue to work on Veracity April sees something and grabs it up.)

April: Doctor Halstead.

(He looks up at her and sees the vial.)

Marcel: Is that?
April: Did someone inject her with this.
Marcel: No.
Natalie: Oh god. They over dosed her.
Marcel: We need to find away to get that this out of her system.
Will: How?
Marcel: I don't know.

(They continue to try and get Veracity's heart going again. Out in the waiting room Mark's sitting there waiting for news on her. Back in her room their all still trying to get her

heart going again until Will finally calls it and gives them a time of death. After he said that April covers Veracity's with the sheet then they walk out of the room as they walk out

Will walks off to go and tell her family and friends about her death as he gets to where they are he stops and looks around but then continues on his way to them as the doors

open Mark looks up then walks over to him as he gets to him seeing the look on his face he knows it's not good news.)

Mark: Will!
Will: We tried everything we could to get her heart started again. But i'm sorry she didn't make it.

(He puts his head down not sure of what to say to him.)

Mark: Oh god.
Will: I'm sorry man.

(He nods his head at him as he turns and walks back into the ER as he walks in Mark turns and looks at her family not sure of how to tell them about Veracity then he walks over to

them. As he gets to them he puts his hand onto his bosses shoulder getting him to look up at him.)

Mark: I just talked to the doctor.

(He stands up and looks at him.)

Jacob: And?
Mark: She didn't make it.

(He looks at him and then looks off not sure of what to say.)

Kate: What?
Mark: They tried everything they could to get her heart going again but they couldn't.

(He sits down not knowing what to say as both Kate and Mary pull him into a hug and Mark backs up not wanting to get in the way of their greiving Mark walks off to go and be

alone. As he walks out of the hospital he walks over to a bench and sits down once he's seated he puts his head down to think about the woman they just lost all thanks to the

accident and not that he's blaming Morgan for it. Because in a lot of ways it's not really his fault that his breaks gave out. And that he rammed into Calamity's truck. Back inside of

the hospital April walks up to the Will and shows him the vial as he's looking at it he sees what it is say's.)

Will: LSD?
April: Yeah. It was lying on the floor next to Veracity's bed.
Will: We didn't give her this.
April: No we didn't.
Will: Who the hell would do that?
April: I don't know. But we can tell the police it wasn't the accident that killed her.
Will: No. It wasn't. Someone sent her into an overdose.
April: Yeah.
Will: Get my brother down here and tell him.
April: Okay.

(Over at the police station their still looking into the car accident as Jay's phone goes off he grabs it up to see who it is seeing the number he picks it up and answers it.)

Jay: Mark!
Mark: Veracity didn't make it.

(He puts his head down annoyed.)

Jay: I'm sorry man.
Mark: Thanks.
Jay: You realize.
Mark: I do actually. But i'm here with April and she say's it wasn't the accident that killed her.
Jay: What did?
Mark: Someone injected LSD into Veracity's system.
Jay: Why the hell would they inject her with LSD?
Mark: I don't know. But it was too much for her system and it stopped her heart.

(He looks off not sure of what to say to him. But this one thing.)

Jay: I'm sorry for your loss man.
Mark: Thanks. Just ind the find the bastards who did this.
Jay: That we can do.

(He nods his head then hangs up with him as he sits down.)

Mark: Thanks April.
April: Anytime. And i'm really sorry. I can tell she still mean't a lot to you. I know you have a girlfriend. But.
Mark: No it's okay. Thanks again.
April: You're welcome.

(Then she turns and walks off as Mark sits down again as he sits down Chloe walks up to him and knows what happened due to Beca calling and telling her as she gets to him to

she hugs him getting him to smile at her as their hugging Mark's trying to keep from losing it but fails and breaks down in her arms as he thinks about the woman they lost due to

whoever put LSD into Veracity's system. Over the next couple of days since Veracity's death the CPD have been looking into who put the LSD into Veracity's system and why they

did it and the more they look into it the more Ava starts getting nervous and the more nervous she gets the more Nikolas wonders what the hell she did in order to have her this

spooked by the investigation. As for the other three Evermoist members the day after Veracity's passing Calamity woke up from her coma and was told a couple of hours after her

waking up that Veracity had died which of course sent Calamity into guilty mode until Mark told her that the accident didn't kill her and when she asked what had he told her and

she looked at him annoyed but then told him that she wanted to be alone and he respected that and left the room so that she could be there alone. And as for Morgan shortly after

Calamity woke up Morgan woke up and couldn't remember much of anything from the accident other than while he was driving the breaks on his car weren't working and before

he could do anything he saw Calamity's truck and before he knew it he had hit her. After hearing Morgan's side of the story Adam and Kim went back to the station to tell the

other's and told them the samething that Morgan had told them.)

Jay: Sounds to me like someone wasn't just out to get the Evermoist members.
Hank: No they were out to get Morgan too. He say anything else?
Kim: No he said once he hit the truck he hit his head against the window on his car knocking himself out.

(He nods his head at her as they get back to work on trying to figure out who messed with the breaks on Morgan's car. Over ther next week CPD continues to investigate the

accident and the murder of Veracity Kane as their investigation continues the news of Veracity's death has gone out nation wide a lot of the bands fans having to greive over losing

a member of the band they love so much in between the fans the rest of her bandmates and her family greiving over losing her Mark had gotten a call from Xander telling him that

Adele had been shot and killed after learning of the death of his girlfriend Mark tossed his phone across the command center which got Sophie to turn and look at him seeing him

go down she rushes over to him and picks him up to hold him as she's holding him he tells her about Adele and she feels bad for him as she's hugging him Kate had walked in

and looked at them Sophie told her feeling Mark's loss she looks off annoyed. Then she knelt down next to her bestfriend as he continued to cry over the loss of both of the

women he loved. In between the deaths of Veracity and Adele Mark stuck to his threat with Julian called and told Sonny what he had done in order to keep Wiley away from Michael

after learning what Julian had done Sonny told Carly who looked just as pissed off for what he done.)

Carly: I can't believe this.
Sonny: I know i can't either.
Carly: How's he doing?
Sonny: He's grieving first Veracity and now his girlfriend. He's got a lot of things going through his head right now. And with Ares and Reagan's wedding coming up. He's not gonna be in the right mind set for it.
Carly: He's still gonna end up going in order to be there for them.
Sonny: Yeah i know that.
Carly: I don't even wanna imagine what Lucas is going to think of this.
Sonny: I don't. I don't know. Mark's lost two of the women he loves and i'm sure Morgan isn't taking her death all that much easier. Even if it wasn't crash that killed her.
Carly: Well someone put that drug into her system Sonny.
Sonny: I know that.

(She nods her head at him as she walks off. Over in Gotham Mark's sitting down on the couch thinking as someone knocks on his door he gets up to go and answer the door as he

gets there he opens it to find the woman he was told was shot and killed standing there looking at him.)

(She looks at him and then looks off. Then she looks back at him.)

Adele: Hi.
Mark: Hi.
Adele: Look i know you have questions but at this time i can't answer them. At least not out in the hallway.

(He moves out of her way and let's her inside as she walks in Xander and the other's follow behind her once their all inside he closes the door and then looks at

them.)

Mark: Okay. How the hell is this possible?

(They all look at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Look one of you better start talking or i'm calling Kate.
Adele: No wait. Don't call her.
Mark: Well than what the hell is going on here?
Adele: Are right. We've been working on a case.
Mark: What kind of case?
Adele: We've been trying to bring up a case against Julian and his gold digging sister.
Mark: Ava!
Adele: Yeah.

(He looks at them and laughs off the shock.)

Mark: Are you guys freaken kidding me?
Xander: No. And yes we know it was a stupid idea.
Mark: My ex girlfriend just lost one of her bestfriends X so yes it was stupid idea.
Xander: We know that.
Mark: Look i get it you guys want to get to the ass hat and the gold digger but did it really have to involve Morgan Corinthos?
Xander: We didn't know he'd go after them.
Mark: When it comes around to Julian and Ava X they don't care what they do as long as they can get the person whose doing so much damage to their business.

(He looks at him and can tell he's annoyed.)

Mark: In between losing Veracity and thinking i'd lost her. Hasn't really made my hatred of the Jerome's go away all that easy.
Xander: Okay so us starting up this investigation on them without help wasn't smart. But i.
Mark: It's one thing to work on your own X. It's a completely different thing when it starts involving my friends. And two of those friends just happened to be the

adopted daughter of the Crows leader and the other one just happens to be Sonny Corinthos youngest. And might i ad the very same youngest son they had just gotten

back.

Adele: Okay we get it.
Mark: I'm not saying that you don't. But thanks to this investigation Ava and Julian sent Morgan after the Evermoist members which of course landed all four members

into the hospital and then landed one of the members into an early grave.

(They look at him and then look off not sure of what to say to him.)

Mark: And then a week after losing Veracity i get lied to by you about my girlfriend being dead.

(Xander looks off.)

Nicks: Told you he'd be pissed about that idea.

(Xander looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Whose idea was it.

(He looks at her and then looks off annoyed with them.)

Adele: Okay look i know you're pissed and Mark i understand that. But we did it for a reason.
Mark: I'd are ready lost one of my bestfriends Adele. How much of a reason could it of been?
Adele: Because they have someone you hate more than your step mother.
Mark: I hate a lot of people. I didn't hate my step mother. I just had distrust in the bitch.
Adele: Anyway.
Mark: Who could those possibly be working with in order to make you fake your own death?
Adele: Viggo Tarasov!

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Mark: I don't hate the man. I hated his son. He did anything and everything he could to try and screw things up and if he got caught he always found away to put the

blame onto someone else.

Xander: He ever believe him?
Mark: No. And i mean with as many times as his son screwed up he never once believed him.
Adele: Okay.
Mark: Look it's just i hate losing people i care about and losing Veracity hurt enough and then having her supposed death thrown on top of Veracity's.
Xander: I know that. Okay like she said it was her idea.

(He looks at them and then looks off.)

Mark: So what happens now?
Adele: I have to go into hiding.

(He looks at her.)

Mark: Why?
Adele: To make them believe i'm actually dead.
Mark: But you're not.
Adele: I know that. But the thing is they will come looking for me and when they do.
Xander: Mark if they see her here their gonna actually try and take her out.

(He looks at him and nods his head at him. Then he grabs up a pen and paper and writes something down once he's done he hands him the note.)

Mark: Don't read it out loud. Call him and he'll find a place to send her until we can catch Julian and Ava and get them off of the streets for good.
Xander: Where is this place?
Mark: I'll tell you later.

(He nods his head at him.)

Adele: Give me a few more minutes with him.
Xander: Sure thing.

(He turns and walks off as Mark stands there and looks at her.)

Mark: Don't even think about telling me not to wait for you.
Adele: Mark!
Mark: I'm not going to agree to it.
Adele: I could be where the ever the hell their sending me for years.
Mark: I'm not agreeing to you saying don't wait for me. I was there when Dante told Lulu the samething. I've seen the hell she's going through because of it.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Adele: But i'm being serious here Mark. Don't wait for me.
Mark: You know i said this once and i'm gonna say it again.
Adele: Mark i'm serious. Don't wait for me.
Mark: And what if i want to.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Okay let's say somewhere down the line someone comes into my life and they start showing interest in me. You gonna be okay with me dating someone else?
Adele: Well no.
Mark: Well than see.
Adele: Look i know you don't want to hear it.
Mark: No your right i don't want to hear it.
Adele: Mark please.
Mark: I'm not gonna say okay i won't wait for you. But i will say this.
Adele: What?
Mark: You're worth the wait i seriously mean that. But if i do someday meet someone i will more an likely go out with them.
Adele: That's all i'm saying. Don't wait around for me. You meet someone who you're willing to date then i wouldn't stop you.
Mark: I know that.
Adele: I'm not saying date or sleep with the next person you see. Give yourself sometime to.
Mark: I can't grieve over someone whose still very much alive.
Adele: Well they won't know that.
Mark: I know that.
Adele: Okay. But i'm serious.
Mark: I know that.
Adele: Okay. I gotta go.
Mark: Okay.

(She smiles at him and goes to walk off but but he grabs her back and kisses her getting her to smile in it then he pulls away from her.)

Adele: I love you.
Mark: I love you too.

(She kisses him again then pulls away from him as she turns and walks out of the apartment as she walked out of the apartment Mark looks around not sure of what to do

or say as he walks over to his couch and goes to sit down as sits down he starts thinking about the women he lost. Even if he did get one back for a short while as he

sits there his phone goes off seeing whose calling him he mutes it and then sits back to think about what he's going to do with the information that Xander and Adele

gave him. Over at Ares and Reagan's apartment Reagan's sitting there thinking as Ares walks into the apartment as she walks in she closes the door behind her.)

Ares: Hey.

(Reagan turns and looks at her.)

Reagan: Hey.
Ares: You are right?
Reagan: Just thinking.
Ares: Okay now i'm worried.

(Reagan looks at her and laughs.)

Reagan: Shut up.

(Ares laughs at her as she stands up and walks over to her. As she gets to her she kisses her then pulls away from her.)

Ares: Still worried. But a little less.
Reagan: Babe come on.
Ares: Are right are right. I'm sorry what's up?
Reagan: Like i said i was just thinking is all.
Ares: About what?
Reagan: About a lot of things.
Ares: Okay.
Reagan: It's just i see the hell Mark's going through due to both Adele and Veracity being killed.

(Ares looks at her and then looks off.)

Ares: You're worried about him?
Reagan: He's one of my bestfriends Ares.
Ares: Yeah i know that. And i can't really blame you for being so worried about him.
Reagan: And i was thinking due to this case and well.
Ares: You wanna post pone the wedding?
Reagan: I do. At least until this case is solved and closed.

(Ares looks at her and laughs.)

Ares: Huh.
Reagan: What?
Ares: I was just thinking about that samething.
Reagan: Really?
Ares: Yeah. I mean with this case trying to have a wedding in the middle of all of this is going to be one hell of a pain in the ass.
Reagan: Yes it will be.
Ares: So how long were you thinking?
Reagan: Two or three months.
Ares: Two or three months?
Reagan: I know that's a lot of months but.
Ares: What? No Reagan it's fine. It's just. We have people flying for the wedding and whose to say their going to be able to come in another two or three months.
Reagan: Yeah well i'd hate to say it. But i'm not waiting another year to make you my wife. That's just not happening.

(Ares looks at her and laughs.)

Ares: Okay okay. Um. Reagan.
Reagan: It's just a suggestion we don't actually have to wait that long.
Ares: I know we don't. But whose to say Mark will let us wait that long?
Reagan: He won't. But i'm even still feeling Adele and Veracity's losses and i don't think.
Ares: Oh.
Reagan: Adele and Veracity were two of my bestfriends and well Vera was Kate's sister.

(Ares nods her head at her as she hugs her getting her to smile at her then she pulls away from her.)

Ares: Okay we'll push it off another couple of months.
Reagan: I knew you'd understand once i told you.
Ares: I know what friendships mean Reagan. Because off Wick i was kept away from both you and Mark for over four years.
Reagan: Yeah i know. But you came back to us.
Ares: I did. And it nearly got me and Santino killed.
Reagan: You realize if he had actually killed you two again me and Mark wouldn't of rested until we killed him.
Ares: I know that.

(She smiles at her as she kisses her than pulls away from her.)

Reagan: Now i need to call Mary and tell her we're pushing the wedding back. This is going to be a fun conversation.
Ares: You can always make sure Kate's in the office when you do.
Reagan: You know how hard it is to keep Kate in one place?
Ares: No.
Reagan: According to Sophie it's very hard. Mainly when it comes around to the wedding.
Ares: Okay so make sure both her's and Mary's girlfriends are in the office when you tell Mary.
Reagan: Babe Mia's as bad as Kate.
Ares: Now you're just making a excuses.

(She looks at her and laughs as she kisses her then pulls away from her.)

Reagan: Yeah honey i know.
Ares: Okay.

(Reagan grabs up her phone and calls Mary who answers right away and Reagan gets into telling her that both her and Ares agreed to push the wedding back for at least

two months and much to Reagan's surprise Mary agreed with her and they talked about another date for the wedding that both Ares and Reagan could agree on when they

agreed on a date they all set the date on their phones and then started telling people that they had changed the date of their wedding and they all agreed with them

with everything going on right now with both Veracity and Adele's deaths and not to mention the case they didn't think it be such a good idea to go and do the wedding.

So over the next several weeks the CPD continue to look into the accident and Veracity's murder as their investigation continues the more nervous Ava and Julian get

even though they try to hide it. And the more they try to hide it the more suspicious the people around them get of them one of them just happens to be Julian's son

and daughter and they are two people he doesn't want to find out what he's done in order to try and keep his secrets. But what Julian doesn't know is that the CPD know

what he had done to Lucas's and Brad's car in order to try and get Brad to remain quiet and in doing so he nearly got his own son killed. As the case continues Mark

and Kate continues to go back and forth to Chicago to talk to them and when they can't get to Chicago Voight sends one of his detectives to go and talk to them and one

of the detectives that he sends just happens to be Jay Halstead and with each and everytime Mark sees him he can't help but wondering if maybe someday he'll find away

to move on even if Adele is still alive. But he knows she can't come out of hiding due to Julian and Ava still being out on the streets. And as much time as both Mark

and Jay have been spending together the closer they grow. Over at the Hold up Mark's there talking and joking around with Michael and Morgan as Kate walks in followed

by Kara whose laughing at something Alex had said as they walk in they head over to the counter as the bartender hands the guys their drinks.)

Mark: Thanks Lance.
Lance: You bet.

(He goes back to making other people's drinks as they go back to their conversation.)

Morgan: So what's going on between you and Detective Halstead?

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Nothing we're just friends.
Morgan: I don't know. You two seem way to close to be friends.
Mark: And you've been around Kate's step sister to long.

(Kate looks at him and laughs.)

Morgan: What?
Michael: You're digging for information Morgan.
Morgan: And.
Kate: And Mary does that a lot.
Mary: I do not.
Kate: Yeah okay.
Mary: I don't.

(They start laughing at her then calm down as they get back to their conversations. A couple of days later over at a warehouse after finally catching a break in the

case in who messed with Morgan's car which resulted in all four Evermoist members to go into the hospital and unfortunately only three being released from the hospital

the CPD put in some extra hours in trying to figure out who was involved in the accident happening after finding out who it was Voight called the Crows and told Jacob

who quickly went out and told his agents and they all rushed from the command center to and get ready. Over at the warehouse as all of the Crows agents rush out of the

Armored vehicles and get ready as the CPD arrives along with the GCPD. After being told where both Ava and Julian could be Mark looked at Voight who knows this is

finally a long time coming for him he walks over to him.)

Hank: You good.
Mark: To what? Finally get the bitch who sent my friends body into an over does while she was still in the hospital recovering from her accident and then tried to pin

it on me.
Hank: Yes.
Mark: Yeah i'm good. But i wanna make it clear.
Sophie: What?
Mark: Ava Jerome is Batwoman's.

(Jacob looks at him and laughs.)

Jacob: You're not gonna hear an argument from me.
Sophie: Or me.
Mark: And Julian Jerome's mine.
Sophie: Okay.
Mark: Are right.

(Then they all rush into the warehouse as they walk in Ava and Julian's men start firing at them only to be quickly grabbed from behind and thrown into the walls which

gives the Crows and the police the chance to fire back at the ones who fire at them as the gun fire continues Mark goes in search of Julian as he's getting close to

where Julian is someone throws Mark into the wall getting him to hurt himself as he hits the wall he nearly loses his gun but manages to drop and elbows his attacker

in the face sending him backwards as he goes back Mark grabs up his gun and puts it away as he goes after him again as he gets to him Mark grabs his arm and punches

him sending his head to the side as it goes to the side he twist his arm and throws him into the box's as he goes into them he quickly gets up and goes after Mark

again who acts quickly and punches him sending him down he gets up and sends them both into the wall getting him to hurt himself again but Mark manages to his

barring's back and sends his knee into his stomach getting him to double over then he throws him away from him as he goes back he gets up to go after him again as he

gets to him Mark grabs out his gun and shoots him in the leg sending him down as he goes down he kicks him in the face knocking him down. Then he goes in search of

Julian. Over by Kate she's looking for Ava once she's got her eyes on her she jumps down behind her as she lands she turns and looks at her.)

Ava: Oh Batwoman.
Batwoman: That's me.

(She goes to shoot at her only to have someone come in and shove her into the box's as she goes down she turns and looks at her she looks up at who it is and laughs at

her.)

Ava: Hey look it's the Everbitches girlfriend.
Thea: Give me and her one reason we shouldn't kill you.

(Kate looks at her and than down to Ava on the ground she gets up to run only to have Thea run off after her as she's running she goes to shoot her but is quickly

stopped and thrown into the boxes again she gets up and goes to fire at em but the guns kicked from her hand sending it across the warehouse as it goes flying she

stands up and goes after Thea who moves out her way and only to come incontact with Kate's fist sending her to the ground. In between both Kate and Thea Ava's being

thrown around like a rag doll meanwhile over by Mark Julian charges Mark sending him to the wall getting him to hurt himself again but he's able to get his footing and

gets him in the face sending him backwards as he goes back he goes to go after Mark again but he gets out of his way getting him to go into the wall as he goes into it

Mark punches him sending him down as he goes down Mark kicks him in the ribs getting him to roll over in pain then he gets back up and attacks Mark sending him to the

ground as he lands he starts beating on Mark's face as he's punching in Mark's able to get the upper hand and hits him in the face with the butt of his gun sending him

to the side as he goes down Mark gets up and starts beating on him as he's beating on him he's getting all of the anger and the pain this case has put on him and his

friends as he continues to beat on him Oliver seeing what's going on rushes over to Mark and tries to pull him off of him only to be pushed back but Mark does end up

stopping his attack on Julian.)

Mark: We got you two. You bastard.

(Julian looks at him as Mark hits him with the but of his gun again sending his head to the side as he stands up and kicks him in the ribs again.)

Mark: That was for Morgan. And this is for Evermoist.

(He kicks him in the stomach getting him to turn over in pain again but then turns around.)

Mark: This is for Lucas and Brad.

(He kicks him in the stomach again getting him to roll over in pain again but then he rolls back over and looks at him.)

Mark: And this is for Adele.

(He kicks him again getting him to lie there not sure of what to say or do.)

Mark: And this is just for good measure.

(Mark kicks him in the face knocking him out cold as he goes out Mark looks at Oliver who feels bad for him.)

Mark: I could easily end this.
Oliver: But you won't.
Mark: He's not worth it. But Veracity and Adele are.
Oliver: You think that's what they'd want?
Mark: Veracity no.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Oliver: You saying?
Mark: Adele wouldn't of even told me to shoot the bastard. Him and Ava deserve to rot in a prison cell the rest of their lives. Because of him Lucas almost died. And

because of him and Ava Beca almost lost the woman she loves again.

Oliver: I know. And you.
Mark: I lost two of the women i loved.

(Oliver looks at him and nods his head at him.)

Mark: I just never wanted to say anything involving Veracity out of respect to Thea.

(He nods his head at him. Back over by Thea and Kate their both doing their own beatings until Thea has enough of what Ava has to say and starts beating on her face

which of course Kate is trying to do but quickly calls Sophie who rushes over to them with Julian right behind her. As their trying to get to them Ava gets the upper

hand and starts beating on her until someone comes out of the shadows and over to them as they get to them they yell out to them.)

Voice: Hey.

(Ava looks up at her and knows who it is.)

Ava: You.

(Ava looks up at her and knows who it is.)

Ava: You.

(As she goes to say her name she gets hit in the face with the bat the person is carrying sending her to the ground as she goes down Thea gets up with help from Kate

as they both look at the person who helped them out with Ava.)

Batwoman: Who the hell is that?
Thea: I-I-I don't know.

(Then they take the hoodie off and look at them. Thea and Kate look at her as Mark and Jason rush forward.)

Mark: You guys are right?

(They both turn and look at him.)

Mark: What?
Batwoman: Who the hell is that?

(Mark looks over at her and nearly falls into Oliver as he reaches them.)

Oliver: Mark!
Mark: Lori!

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Lori: Hi.

(He walks over to her and hugs her getting her to smile at him as their hugging all of Mark's friends look at him then he pulls away from her as he turns and looks at

everyone.)

Mark: You guys remember Jonas Taylor?
Thea: The ass hat who went to see Oliver?
Mark: The very same.
Batwoman: What about him?
Mark: This is his ex wife Lori.

(They look at her and laugh at them as she waves at them.)

Mark: And Jaxx's girlfriend. God that's so weird to say.

(She looks at him as he laughs at her.)

Lori: Don't let it get to your ego.
Mark: I'm trying my hardest.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: I always thought they'd be cute together.

(She looks at him and then smacks him in the stomach which gets him laughing again.)

Mark: Anyway. What the hell happened to the gold digger?
Thea: Your friend there.

(Mark looks over at Lori and laughs as he walks over to Ava and turns her around then puts her in handcuff's before she can try and get away from them again once she's

cuffed she starts coming too and looks up at Mark.)

Ava: That bitch assaulted me.
Mark: Yeah and you killed my friend. Rogers get this tramp out of here will ya.
Adam: Got it Mark.

(He gets her up and they walk off with her still talking. As their walking off Mark looks at his hand and Kate walks over to him.)

Batwoman: You are right?

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Mark: Yeah i'm fine. Just glad to finally have them off of the streets.
Batwoman: Mark!

(He looks at her.)

Mark: I beat the hell out of Julian Jerome.

(She looks at him and then looks over at Oliver.)

Mark: Don't blame him. He tried to pull me off of him.
Batwoman: You kill him?
Mark: No. But i came damn close to it.
Batwoman: Once we're done here. Go and see Mary.
Mark: I will.
Batwoman: Okay.

(Lori seeing his attitude change she can tell he was close to the woman that Ava had killed Mark feeling Lori looking at him he turns and looks at her.)

Mark: She was one of my bestfriends and Kate Kane's adopted sister.

(Lori looks at him and knows who he's talking about.)

Lori: Veracity Kane was Kate's sister?
Mark: Yeah.
Lori: We heard i'm sorry Mark.

(He smiles at her.)

Mark: It's are right.

(He walks off as he walks off Thea goes after him.)

Oliver: Veracity was also my sister's girlfriend.

(Lori looks at them and nods her head at him.)

Lori: I'm actually not the only one here.

(Both Kate and Oliver look at her.)

Oliver: Who else?

(Then someone Mark and the Corinthos all thought was dead comes into view seeing who it is Oliver looks at Kate.)

Kiki: Hi.
Oliver: Hi. Who is this?

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Kiki: My name is Katherine Lauren Jerome.

(Both Kate and Oliver look at her.)

Kiki: My friends and family call me Kiki for short.

(They nod their heads at her.)

Kiki: And that woman they just took out of here was my mother.

(Kate and Oliver look at each other laugh off the shock.)

Batwoman: That was your mother?
Kiki: She was.
Oliver: How come you're so much nicer then her.
Kiki: My father wasn't as big of an ass.
Batwoman: Your father?
Kiki: My father's name was Silas Clay he was doctor over at General Hospital in Port Charles.

(They both look at her and then each other.)

Batwoman: What happened to him?
Kiki: My mother killed him.
Lori: She's been out on Mana one with me and Jaxx.

(They nod their heads at her.)

Oliver: Come on.
Kiki: Again i'm not the only one here.
Batwoman: What you talking about?

(Then really the woman Kate thought was dead walks up to them and she does fall into Oliver who quickly catches her and then someone else walks forward.)

Batwoman: Catherine!

(She looks at her and then to Oliver who looks up at the man next to her.)

Oliver: who are you?
Man: My names Duke Buchanan.

(Both Kate and Oliver look at him and then back at Mark whose just walked off with Thea.)

Oliver: Oh boy.
Batwoman: Yeah.

(Kate gets over the comms.)

Batwoman: (Comms) Commander i think you better get in here.
Jacob: why?
Batwoman: You'd have to see it for yourself.

(He rushes off inside of the warehouse as he gets inside he walks off towards everyone else as he gets there he sees Kate down on the ground with Oliver with her.)

Jacob: What?
Oliver: It's your second wife.

(Jacob looks over at her and nearly falls over but rushes over to her as he gets to her he hugs her getting her to smile at him. Later over at Crows Head Quarters

after being looked over by Mary Oliver walked Duke over to the Crow's command center.)

Oliver: Wait here.
Duke: Will do.

(He walks into the room and over to Mark whose talking and joking around with the Evermoist members along with their girlfriends as their joking around Serenity

lightly pushes him back making him laugh as he grabs his friend into a sideways hug.)

Serenity: I got a hug from the former New kids and Backstreet boys member.

(Calamity and Charity start laughing at her as Cynthia notice Oliver walking over to them.)

Cynthia: Mark!

(He turns and looks at him.)

Mark: Hey it's the Green Arrow.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Oliver: That's nice.
Mark: But Mia's more badass.

(He looks at him as the other's laugh at his face.)

Calamity: You're so gonna get it Mark.
Mark: Don't i know it. What's up?
Oliver: Come with me.
Mark: Why?
Oliver: I swear you and Reagan.
Mark: I'm sorry. But you and Barry are known for pranks.
Oliver: This coming from the man who put Bat wings on my bike.

(Mark looks at him and then to Calamity.)

Oliver: And red ones at that.
Mark: Batwoman's badass. What can i say?
Oliver: Hey.
Mark: What?
Oliver: I'm just as badass.
Mark: Oh you are. But than again him and Barry did get beaten up by a girl.

(He looks at him as Kara's behind him laughing along with Kate.)

Oliver: Now wait a minute.
Mark: I never told you three that story did i?
Charity: No. But tell us.
Oliver: No.
Serenity: Ah come on.
Mark: I think i better go with him. Before he tells Xander on me.

(They start laughing as Oliver pushes him forward as the other's laugh at them as they get out into the hallway Mark turns and looks at him.)

Mark: What?
Oliver: Turn around.

(Mark does as he's told and turns to see someone he thought was dead as he sees him he looks off not sure of what to say to him then he looks at him as he grabs him

into a hug getting him to laugh at him. Then he pulls away from him and looks at Oliver.)

Oliver: He was there along with your friend Lori.
Mark: Wow.
Oliver: And another person you're gonna wanna see.
Mark: Who?

(She walks up behind his nephew and Mark laughs at her.)

Mark: Kiki!
Kiki: Hi.

(He walks over to her and hugs her getting her to smile at him then he pulls away from her.)

Mark: Prettier then i remember.

(She laughs at him.)

Mark: Wow. She's way to hot for either Corinthos brother now.
Kevin: Dude she's to hot for you.
Mark: Hey screw you big brother.

(He laughs at him as Mark hugs him then pulls away from him.)

Kevin: Kate called me and told me to come by.
Mark: Look behind me.

(He looks behind him and sees his son there and nearly falls into back to his wife but Clark stops him and Mark laughs at him.)

Kevin: I.
Mark: Want me move?
Kevin: Please.

(Mark moves out of his way and let's him walk over to his son as Mark looks at Clark.)

Clark: Happy family reunion?

(Mark looks at him and then over to his brother and nephew.)

Mark: You could say that.

(He looks at him.)

Clark: You are right?
Mark: Yeah. I'm fine.

(He walks off to go and be alone as Oliver walks over to him.)

Clark: And here i thought he'd be happy to see him.
Oliver: In a way he is. It's just.
Clark: Veracity! and Adele!
Oliver: Yeah.

(Over in their training room Mark's sitting down on one of the benches as Calamity walks in to talk to him.)

Mark: You looking for me?

(She turns and looks at him then starts laughing.)

Calamity: Yeah.
Mark: Well here i am.

(She walks over to him and sits down next to him.)

Mark: You know i thought when i found out about my nephew being alive i'd be as happy as i was when i found out about Morgan being alive.
Calamity: Yeah i know.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: How is it whenever i'm happy something always happens that knocks me down again.

(Calamity looks at him.)

Calamity: How's that?
Mark: Cal eight months ago for over two weeks you were dead all thanks to Jesse and his need to prove that Beca loved only him.

(She looks at him.)

Mark: I mean we broke up so that you could be with her but all it did in the end was getting you killed.

(She looks at him again then looks off.)

Calamity: It wasn't your fault.
Mark: I know that.
Calamity: You Kate and Ares baught and reopened Old Tucson.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: We did. And then two months later you and the other girls get into an accident thanks to Julian messing with the breaks on Morgan's car.
Calamity: Yeah.
Mark: And then when you guys survive your surgeries. Ava and injects Veracity with LSD which sent her into an over dose and ended up killing her that way.

(Calamity looks at him again then looks off.)

Calamity: Yeah that still made no sense to me.
Mark: You want Ava Jerome to make sense?

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Calamity: No i guess anything those two didn't make any sense. Hell i remember you calling me and the other girls up saying that Adele had shot and killed.
Mark: Yeah.
Calamity: Mark!

(He looks at her.)

Mark: Yeah.
Calamity: I know this is going to be a stupid question but.
Mark: No. I'm not okay.

(She nods her head at him.)

Mark: I miss them so damn much and those two don't even care.

(Calamity looks at him.)

Mark: I mean Ava saw Lori there and actually looked very annoyed that she was there.

(Calamity looks off not sure of what to say to him.)

Calamity: Mark i miss Veracity as much as you miss Adele.
Mark: I know you do. There a lot of people who were hurt while they were out on the streets.
Calamity: Yeah.
Mark: I mean don't get me wrong i'm very happy their finally off of the streets and going to prison for their crimes.

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Mark: Because of Julian and Ava. Beca almost lost you again.
Calamity: I know that.
Mark: And i'm here talking to you about someone i had gone out on one date with. And then there's my girlfriend who was shot and killed while out working on a case.

(He looks at her and then stands up to walk away from her before he does something that could screw things up between her and Beca again.)

Calamity: What?
Mark: I realized how close i was getting to you and i don't want to do something that could screw things up with you and Beca. I won't be one of those ex's who wants

something that can't have back. See Morgan he can Kiki back.

(Calamity looks at him and realize's what he's trying to say.)

Calamity: Oh.
Mark: Beca's one of my bestfriends Cal. The reason we broke up was because of how you still feel about her. And with both Veracity and Adele being gone. My mind is all

over the place.

(She looks at him and laughs a little in shock at what he just said.)

Calamity: Oh.
Mark: And until i can get my mind back on track after the whole thing with Lori being around i mean i know she was always been alive. But than there's Catherine Kiki

and now my nephew being alive. And the two women who should be here aren't.
Calamity: Mark!
Mark: Like i said until i can get my mind straightened out. I'm gonna be keeping my distance.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Calamity: Mark!
Mark: Calamity right now the only thing i can do is think about kissing you and i'm not going to do it.
Calamity: You're making this harder than it has to be.
Mark: I'm not trying to. You have the woman you love back in your life. I don't. Right now all i see is jealousy because Beca has you and you two are so damn happy.

I'm seeing the women who i became friends with being in love with each other. While the woman i love is rotting in a pine box.

(Calamity looks at him and knows who he's talking about.)

Calamity: You were in love with Veracity?

(He looks at her and than looks off.)

Mark: I loved you and Adele just as much.
Calamity: I know that. And some how i have a feeling Adele knew that.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: You guys know Adele's alive?
Calamity: Yeah we do. Look we won't say anything.
Mark: Yeah i know you won't. But the people she's trying to hide from are locked up in our holding cell's downstairs.

(She looks at him and nods her head at him.)

Mark: Anyway. I'll see you around.

(Then he walks around her and leaves the room as he walks out he closes the door behind him and leans against it trying to keep himself from going back into the room

and doing the one thing he's been wanting to do again for the last six months. As he walks off He sees Beca and walks by her as he walks by her she walks over to him.)

Beca: You are right?

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Yeah i'm fine. just have a lot of things on my mind.
Beca: Oh okay.

(He smiles at her as he turns and walks off as Emily walks up to her.)

Emily: You are right?
Beca: Yeah. Where's Calamity?
Calamity: Someone say my name?

(Beca turns and looks at her girlfriend then smiles at her.)

Beca: Yeah. How you doing?
Calamity: Good. You know. Trying not to lose what's left of my mind.
Emily: Wasn't aware you had a mind worth losing.

(Beca looks at her and then at her girlfriend whose trying to keep from laughing.)

Calamity: Oh.
Beca: Yup. This is how you know we're all friends.

(Calamity looks at her and laughs.)

Calamity: Yeah.
Beca: Babe you sure you're okay?
Calamity: Yeah i'm fine. I'm here with you.
Beca: Okay.

(She starts laughing at her as she kisses her as their kissing Emily walks off to go and talk with Serenity whose talking with her sister and Severide. Over in command

center Mark's there with Sophie and Julia talking about the case that they just helped CPD close thanks to them finally finding and arresting Ava and Julian as he's

putting the papers into the file Antonio walks up to them.)

Mark: Hey man.
Antonio: Hey.
Mark: Here's everything on the Jerome's and the crimes they've committed in the last god i don't even know how long.
Antonio: That's okay. Voight's had us going through all of their phone records between now and the time of your friends and his husbands car accident.
Mark: And?
Antonio: Nothing as off yet. But when we find something you guys will be the first to know.
Mark: Okay good. Thanks man.
Antonio: You bet.

(Then he turns and walks off to go back to Chicago.)

Julia: I bet you're happy to finally have both Julian and his sister behind bars where they belong.
Mark: Yeah. Veracity can rest in peace knowing that her killer is finally behind bars.
Sophie: Always good to hear.
Mark: It is. Anyway. So you two going to Ares and Reagan's wedding?
Sophie: You know it's funny how he brings that up.
Mark: You didn't think she'd actually invite you to the wedding?
Sophie: Well no i mean think about the hell i put her through Mark.
Mark: Well yeah. But you gotta give Reagan more credit than that.
Sophie: Yeah i know.
Mark: Okay.

(He smiles at them as he walks out of their command Center as he walks out Calamity walks up to him.)

Calamity: Hey Mark.

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Hey. You are right?
Calamity: Yeah. Emily said something back there and i actually wanted to hit her.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Calamity: You don't believe that do you?
Mark: I really don't.

(She laughs at him.)

Calamity: No i was coming over here because i wanted to ask if what you said in the training room was right.

(He grabs her arm and moves away from their Command center.)

Mark: Right about what?
Calamity: Still having feelings for me.

(He looks at her and smiles at her.)

Mark: They are. And i know you love Beca and i wouldn't do anything to screw that up for you.
Calamity: Okay.
Mark: There a reason you're asking not twenty seconds after i left you.
Calamity: I was looking at Beca and i couldn't help but think how lucky i am to have her back in my life and to be able to call her my girlfriend again.
Mark: But.
Calamity: Yes she does.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Not what i mean't.
Calamity: I'm well aware of that.
Mark: What's up?
Calamity: I just.
Mark: Calamity!
Calamity: I love Beca Mark i really do.
Mark: I know that.
Calamity: But she's not you.

(He looks at her and then looks off then looks at her again.)

Mark: You're screwing with me aren't you?
Calamity: Maybe.
Mark: Do you love Beca?
Calamity: Yes i do.
Mark: More than wanting to be with me?

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Calamity: Yes i do.
Mark: So you know it's not me you want.
Calamity: Yeah i do.
Mark: There seriously a reason you brought it up?
Calamity: There is. But i have a feeling it would ruin things between me and Beca.
Mark: Okay so. I'll keep my distance.

(She nods her head at him as she turns and walks off to go back to her girlfriend as she walks off Mark turns and looks at Kara and he knows she heard the

conversation.)

Mark: Don't.
Kara: I wasn't. I can tell you've got a lot on your mind Mark.
Mark: I do.
Kara: Don't push your friends away. You know we'll always be there for you. Even when you're still clearly still in love with Beca's girlfriend.
Mark: I know that. And right now i'm really wishing i wasn't.
Kara: No you don't.
Mark: Yes i do.
Kara: Why?
Mark: Because Beca's a real sweet girl who doesn't deserve to have her heartbroken again all because i can't stop thinking about her girlfriend when mine is still very

much alive and in hiding.

(Kara looks at him and nods her head at him.)

Mark: I won't do it to her again.
Kara: Okay.
Mark: So in any case it's best that i keep my distance from them.
Kara: If that's what you think is best.
Mark: I do.
Kara: Okay.

(He turns and walks off. As he turns and walks off Kara turns and looks at Kate.)

Kara: It's not fair Kate.
Kate: I know.
Kara: He should have as much right as being with the woman he loves as the next person.
Kate: But you heard him Kara. He's not gonna get between them.
Kara: I know he did.
Kate: No. Don't go meddling in their relationships.
Kara: I wasn't.
Kate: Bull. Kara don't make me call Alex.

(Kara looks at her and laughs off the shock.)

Kara: I won't. Babe i'm serious i won't.
Kate: Okay.
Kara: But i am going to call someone.
Kate: Just don't call Batwoman. I have a feeling she'll be busy tonight.
Kara: Oh due tell.

(Kate laughs at her as she kisses her then pulls away from her. As she pulls away from her she grabs out her phone and calls someone who answers right away.)

Kara: Hey i need a favor.

(Kate looks at her as Kara remains on the phone with the person she called after talking to him for awhile she hangs up and looks at Kate.)

Kate: Who was that?
Kara: An old friend.
Kate: Okay.
Kara: Winn Schott he's always there when his friends are in need i thought he'd be willing to talk to Mark.
Kate: You're one hell of a friend.
Kara: I know i am.

(She laughs at her as their talking Lori and Jaxx walks up to them.)

Lori: She playing matchmaker again.
Kara: I'm trying to. But she won't let me.

(Kate looks at her as Jaxx looks off laughing at her face.)

Kate: That's nice.
Jaxx: Anyway.
Kara: It's just Mark's still in love with his ex back there and doesn't wanna get in the way of their relationship so.
Lori: He's gonna distance himself?
Kate: Yeah.
Jaxx: Well than.
Kara: Was it like that with you two?
Lori: No. Mine and Jonas marriage was well.
Jaxx: Oh boy.
Lori: She's not helping.
Jaxx: Now you want me to help?
Lori: Yes.
Jaxx: She's so pretty.

(Kara and Kate look at her as she's trying to keep from laughing.)

Lori: And she's not getting any tonight.

(Jaxx looks at her and then looks off.)

Jaxx: That's what she thinks.

(Lori looks at her and laughs as she's trying to keep from blushing.)

Kate: Uh-oh.
Lori: She has her ways.
Kara: How?
Jaxx: I take my shirt off.

(Lori looks at her as Kate starts laughing.)

Kate: Oh wow.
Lori: Yeah.
Kara: I'm not even nope.
Lori: What?
Kate: Supergirl looked under Batwoman's suit.

(Kara looks at her and then looks off.)

Kara: Yeah.
Jaxx: She like what she saw?
Kara: Oh yeah.

(They start laughing at Kate's face.)

Kara: But than again this one. All i did was bring up the tattoo's and she said and those are just the ones that you can see.

(Kate looks at her and laughs.)

Kate: I did. And her face turned the same shade of red as the Flash's suit.
Lori: We can imagine. Mainly her.

(Jaxx looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Jaxx: What?
Kara: Actually now that you two are here.
Lori: What?
Kara: I was kind of hoping to ask you guys about Mana one.
Lori: She's the brain's behind it.
Jaxx: Yeah.
Kara: Never the less.
Lori: You two hungry.
Kate: I am. She's always hungry.

(Kara looks at her as Lori's trying to keep from laughing.)

Kara: I am not. At least not for food.

(Kate makes a noise which gets Lori and Jaxx to start laughing as they walk off.)

Kara: I mean really you should see the body under all of her cloths.
Jaxx: I can imagine.

(Their still laughing as they walk off. Over at Mark's apartment he's finishing packing his things to head up to his families cabin for awhile as he's walking out of

his room someone knocks on his door he puts his head bag down and walks over to it as he gets to the door he opens it to find the last person he didn't think he'd ever

see again.)

Mark: Winn!

Mark: Winn!

(He looks at him and waves him.)

Mark: Hey.
Winn: Hey.
Mark: What's going on?
Winn: I got a call from Kara.

(Mark looks at him and laughs off the shock.)

Mark: Veracity!

(He nods his head at him as Mark backs up and let's him into the apartment as he walks in he closes the door behind him once it's closed he turns and looks at Mark.)

Mark: I honestly don't know what they want from me Winn.
Winn: Well for one thing. They want you to stop blaming yourself for her death. You didn't kill her.
Mark: No your right i didn't. That was done by Ava and her prick of a brother.

(He looks at him and then looks off.)

Winn: Look i know you've got a lot of guilt built up in you.
Mark: I do. And it's seriously taking every little bit of me not to go and throw my fist into Julian's face.
Winn: I thought?
Mark: Julian messed with the break's on Morgan's car.

(He looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Winn: Why the hell are they still out on the streets?
Mark: Their not. Their in prison. But.
Winn: You still wanna make them pay for what happened?
Mark: Yeah. I mean Winn. Ava only really got pregnant so she didn't have to do time for killing Sonny's ex fiance.

(He looks at him and then looks off annoyed.)

Winn: So she's insane?
Mark: And not just insane.
Winn: What?
Mark: I know her and Julian come from money but.
Winn: Who'd she marry?
Mark: Nikolas Cassadine.

(He looks at him and laughs off the shock.)

Winn: Why?
Mark: For money.
Winn: Of course. She's a gold digger?
Mark: Very much so.

(He nods his head at him.)

Winn: Look Mark we all get how much you miss and want her back. But we all know that's not gonna happen.
Mark: I know that.
Winn: Even if you guys did bring Calamity back.
Mark: Yeah. I know we can't risk it again.
Winn: No you can't.
Mark: It's just there are days where i'm perfectly fine and then there are other's where i just don't know what to do.

(Winn looks at him and feels bad for him.)

Winn: I can honestly tell you i don't know what i'd do if i ever lost the person i loved.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: It's amazing how people can see right through me.
Winn: Mark we could all tell how you felt about Veracity even before you laid eyes on Calamity. I mean dude come on you hit on Veracity the very first day you met her.
Mark: Not true. Beca started it.

(Winn looks at him and laughs.)

Winn: I'm sure she did. But you know what i'm talking about.
Mark: I do actually.
Winn: If anyone could tell how you felt about would be anyone with eyes. Even Calamity while you were dating her.
Mark: That's not fair.
Winn: Mark you loved Veracity back then. Even if you were with Calamity you just never showed it.
Mark: That's because i liked the person she was with.
Winn: See.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Anyway.
Winn: Look i know what Veracity mean't to you and to Thea and not to mention to her family and friends. But you can't keep blaming yourself for something those two

did. I mean Evermoist weren't the only victim's of that accident Mark. So was Morgan if it hadn't of been for his breaks being messed with he never would of lost

control of his car and ended up slamming into Calamity's truck.

Mark: I realize that.
Winn: I know Veracity mean't a lot to you but.
Mark: I get it.
Winn: Oh okay.
Mark: I know blaming myself for her death isn't helping me out any. But to me if i'm not blaming myself for her death. Then i'll go and find some reason of making both

Ava and Julian pay for her death.

Winn: Prison life not good enough for them?
Mark: No it's not.
Winn: Yeah well you could always kill them but then the Crows would have to arrest you.
Mark: Not if they can't find the bodies.
Winn: This is true. But still.
Mark: I know. I wouldn't actually do it.
Winn: Okay good. Because it would really suck to lose one of my friends so soon after coming back from the future.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: You wouldn't happen to know if i meet someone would you?

(Winn looks at him and laughs.)

Winn: You do actually.
Mark: They cute or even better hot or as hot as Evermoist.

(Winn starts laughing at the joke.)

Mark: Or hotter then the three ladies from Steps or.
Winn: Maybe.
Mark: Maybe. Now i know that song was done by someone.
Winn: Stop.
Mark: Oh i know that one too.
Winn: Quit it.
Mark: Sorry can't do that.
Winn: Why not?
Mark: Because you're fun to pick on.

(He looks at him and then pushes him back making him laugh.)

Winn: Well i'm so glad you're getting a kick out of picking on me. But stop it.
Mark: I'm sorry.
Winn: It's fine. We really are worried about you Mark.
Mark: I know you guys are.
Winn: Okay. You know if you ever need someone to talk to you. You have friends who are willing to be there for you. Mainly Kate. Evermoist didn't just lose a member

and friend Kate also lost her sister. Don't let what those two did keep you from living your life. They don't deserve it.

Mark: I know they don't.
Winn: Mark anyone who knows who the Jerome's are. Know damn well they don't feel guilty over killing someone.
Mark: Oh i'm well aware of that.
Winn: Okay. So don't let what they did ruin your life. We all know what she mean't to you and what she still mean't to you the day she was killed.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Okay you're right.
Winn: I know i'm right.

(Mark smiles at him as he hugs his friend then pulls away from him. As someone knocks on the door Mark walks over to it and opens it to find Reagan there and he laughs

at her.)

Mark: Reagan!
Reagan: Hey. Me and Ares have a problem.
Mark: Oh boy.

(He moves out of her way and let's her into the apartment as she walks in he closes the door and turns to look at her.)

Mark: What's going on?

(Reagan turns and looks at him.)

Reagan: Well we've been trying to figure out who can play at our wedding reception since Calamity and the other girls don't feel right playing knowing their missing a

member.

Mark: Okay so Evermoist is out as the band.
Reagan: Yeah. And now me and Ares are back at square one on whose going to play at the reception.

(Mark looks at her and then to Winn.)

Mark: Have you guys looked anyother band or DJ?
Reagan: If there is one thing me and Ares on an agreement is that we don't want a DJ.
Mark: Okay so band it is.
Winn: At least their not Alex and Maggie.
Mark: Yeah no kidding. But than again you should of seen them at the early stages of planning the wedding.
Winn: Oh.
Mark: Yeah.

(Reagan looks at them and laughs.)

Reagan: Hey Mark.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Right. So do you guys have a list of bands?
Reagan: Yeah.

(She pulls it out of her back pocket and hands it to him Mark takes it from her and opens it up once he has it opened he looks at the name of bands on there and

laughs.)

Mark: There's only three on here.
Reagan: Yeah.
Mark: Evermoist!

(She laughs at him.)

Winn: Wow.
Mark: The Bellas.

(She continues to laugh at him as he gets to the last band on the list.)

Mark: And Steps.
Reagan: Yes. And we crossed Evermoist off of the list.
Mark: So why don't you just ask the Bellas?
Reagan: We thought about that. But.
Mark: But their close to Evermoist.
Reagan: I just don't know what to do. It's either the Bellas or Steps and i can't for the life of me figure it out.
Mark: Well i could ask Steps but the thing is.
Reagan: What?
Mark: Their getting ready for their tour.
Reagan: So the Bellas it is.
Mark: Yes it is.
Reagan: I just don't know how to approach them.
Mark: Well walking up to them and saying hi normally helps.

(Winn's behind him trying to keep from laughing.)

Reagan: Not helping.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Are right are right. Who does Ares want to play at the wedding?
Reagan: The Bellas and i know what you're going to say but i just.
Mark: Reagan they don't bite.
Reagan: I know that.
Mark: Unless three out of the ten are with their girlfriends.

(She looks at him as Winn's still trying to keep from laughing.)

Reagan: Winn you're not helping.
Winn: I'm sorry.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Okay okay. You want me to go with you so you can talk to them. Or do you want me to talk to them?
Reagan: If you wouldn't mind.
Mark: It's your wedding.
Reagan: Yes but their your friends.
Mark: Seriously. Their just as much my friends as they are your's and don't you even think about using Evermoist as an excuse.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Reagan!
Reagan: I just i don't want ask them only to have them say no.
Mark: What the hell makes you think they'd say no. I mean The Bellas are the reason why Evermoist even offered.
Reagan: Wait really?
Mark: I mean Beca was going to do a song with Calamity other than that yes.
Reagan: Oh come on.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Okay okay. I will talk to them.
Reagan: Thank you.
Mark: You're welcome.

(She hugs him then pulls away from him as she turns and walks out of the apartment. As she walks out she closes the door behind her and Mark turns to look at Winn.)

Winn: You realize she only asked you because they were trying to get your mind off of.
Mark: I'm well aware of why they asked me.
Winn: Okay. Well i'm gonna go.
Mark: Where you staying?
Winn: I was going to go see if i couldn't find a hotel or something.
Mark: You don't have to. I have a two bedroom apartment.
Winn: You wouldn't mind?
Mark: Of course not. Come on.

(He shows him towards one of the bedrooms in the apartment. As he gets him there he opens the door and shows him into the room as he walks in he looks around it and

laughs.)

Winn: Oh wow. Dude this is awesome.
Mark: Yeah. I had planned on turning this into a music room But.
Winn: What?
Mark: I got together with Calamity and that idea kind of went out the window.
Winn: Why?
Mark: I was dating someone i really liked.
Winn: Oh.
Mark: Plus i kind of lost all interest once we broke up.

(Winn looks at him and nods his head at him.)

Mark: And then really lost interest in it when we lost Calamity.

(Winn looks at him again and feels bad for him.)

Winn: But you guys got her back.
Mark: I know we did.

(He laughs at him as Mark looks over at the keyboard and walks over to it as he gets there he pushes a key on it getting Winn to turn and look at him. Then he pushes

another which makes Winn laugh at him. Mark turns and looks at him.)

Mark: Of all honesty i got all interest back when Calamity came back. But once Vera died.

(Winn walks over to him.)

Mark: I know I've said this alot but.
Winn: What?
Mark: I miss her so damn much man. I just i look around at everything in this room and i wanna throw it out of the window but then think she would of beaten me up.
Winn: Yeah.
Mark: I just don't know what to do. I get one friend back just to lose another. Tell me how that's fair.
Winn: It's not. And whoever said it's fair shouldn't really talk unless they know what it's like to lose someone they care about.
Mark: Yeah.

(He looks at him and smiles as he looks back down at the keyboard and sits down as he pushes several other key's on it which gets Winn to sing a verus. Mark looks up

at him and smiles at him.)

Mark: You know.
Winn: What?
Mark: I have an idea for a song i just the Bellas and Evermoist like it.
Winn: Well.

(He walks over to a note pad and grabs it up once he has it he hands it to Mark who looks at it and laughs.)

Mark: Okay.

(He gets ready to start writing the song as he's writing it Winn walks over to the bed and lies down. Over the next couple of days Mark works on the song he started

writing the day Winn showed up as he was working on it Kara and Kate would stop by to check up on him.)

Kara: I told you calling him in was a good idea.
Kate: Yeah yeah.

(She looks at her and laughs.)

Kate: What's he working on?
Winn: While we were talking the other day he came up with an idea about a song so he's been back there working on it.
Kara: Would he be mad if i used my super hearing to listen to the song?
Winn: Yes. I mean he won't even let me hear it.
Kate: Wow.

(Then the door to the room Mark was in opens and he walks out of it holding a sheet of music in his hand as he walks out he sees them and smiles at them.)

Mark: Hey.
Kate: Hey. You look.
Mark: Tired yeah i know. It's just I've been working on a song the last couple of days and well i haven't gotten much sleep.
Kara: It looks like it.
Mark: I just. Here.

(He hands the song over to Kara who looks it over. As she's reading it she looks up every now and then to look at Mark whose walking off into his room to go and shower

and show it to the Evermoist members.)

Kara: Kate!

(Kate looks at her as she hands her over the song as she's looking at it she reads through the same lyrics Kara did and nearly loses it as she finishes the song Kara

grabs her into a hug getting her to smile at her. Later Mark comes out of his room and looks at them.)

Mark: I'm sorry.
Kate: No Mark it's a beautiful song. I think you should give it to them.
Mark: Yeah.
Kate: Yeah. I think Vera would of loved it.
Mark: Okay. Well i'm gonna go talk to them.
Kara: Okay. Hey.
Mark: I'm are right.

(She nods her head at him as he walks out of the apartment to go over to his record label to show the girls the song he wrote.)

Winn: He was really missed up that song came to him.
Kara: Yeah he was.

(He nods his head at her Kara continues to hold her girlfriend whose still trying to keep from losing it after reading the song.)

Kate: I miss her Kara.
Kara: I know babe.

(She kisses her head then pulls away from as she keeps a hold of her. Later over at his record label Mark walks up the studio the band is in with the Bellas as he gets

there he knocks on it and Amy walks over to it and opens it to find Mark there.)

Amy: Hey.
Mark: Hey. Is Evermoist here?
Amy: Yeah.

(She moves out of his way and let's him into the studio as he walks in she closes the door behind her getting Beca to turn and look at him.)

Beca: Babe.

(Calamity looks up at her and sees Mark there.)

Calamity: Hey.
Mark: Hey. I uh. I'm sorry if i have been out of it lately.
Calamity: No hey.

(She walks over to him and hugs him getting him to smile in her hug as their hugging he's trying his hardest not to lose it in his ex's arms as the other's look at

them and feel bad for him. Then she pulls away from him.)

Mark: Thank you i needed that. Mainly from you.
Calamity: Well i'm always being told i'm good at hugs.
Mark: I'm sure. But you're a lot better at other things am i right Beca.
Beca: Oh yeah.

(She turns and looks at her then laughs.)

Calamity: Anyway.
Mark: Oh right um.

(He pulls the song out of his back pocket and hands it to her.)

Calamity: What is this?
Mark: It's a song I've been working on the last couple of days.

(She looks at him and nods her head at him as she opens it and reads but not before she reads the title.)

Calamity: I like it are ready.
Mark: It's a tear jerkier.
Calamity: If it's about who i think it is. I don't doubt that one minute.
Mark: It is.

(She looks at him and nods her head as she walks over to Beca and sits down once she's seating down Beca gets into her lap getting her to smile at her as she reads the

lyrics as she's reading them she leans into her girlfriend whose holding her as Mark remains where he is as she finishes she looks up at him along with Beca.)

Calamity: Wow. You weren't kidding.
Mark: I never do. Kate and Kara read it.
Calamity: And?
Mark: Their both in agreement that she would of loved this song.
Beca: She would of. Why'd you?
Mark: I was hoping either you and the other Bellas could record it or her and them.

(Calamity looks up at him and then looks off not sure of what to say.)

Calamity: What you two say?
Serenity: Given your reaction i have a feeling it'll have the both of us going and them.

(She pulls up at the other Bellas who look off not sure of what to say to her.)

Aubrey: I honestly think you guys should do it with Beca.

(Beca looks at her and laughs.)

Beca: Uh wow. Yeah. What you think babe?
Calamity: I like the idea. You got music for it?
Mark: Uh yeah.

(He walks over to her with a disk once she has it she puts it in and plays it.)

Mark: And if you guys don't like it. You can change it up a little.

(She smiles at him as it plays as it's playing Beca starts singing the song to the music as she's singing it Mark looks at her and smiles at her as she's singing the

song Calamity joins in with her which gets the other two members of the band to look at them and smiles at them. As they finish the song the other two members of the

band are trying to keep it together as Emily and Cynthia walk over to them and sit down next to them as they sit next to them Serenity leans into Emily who hangs onto

her getting Mark to smile at them.)

Calamity: You wanna do this song?
Beca: Yeah. We got a tour coming up in a couple of months maybe we can do it then.
Calamity: Sounds good.
Beca: Okay.

(She kisses her head then pulls away from it.)

Mark: Oh hey.
Beca: Reagan came by yesterday to ask us.
Mark: Oh.
Beca: We said yes.
Mark: I told her you would.

(They laugh at him.)

Mark: You guys wanna record it or?
Calamity: Yeah. Just not yet.
Mark: Okay. Well i'm gonna go.
Calamity: Okay. And thank you Mark.
Mark: You're welcome.

(He turns and walks out of the room. As he walks out he closes the door and leans on it trying to keep from losing it then he walks off to go back to his apartment.

Later back over at his apartment after doing a lot of thinking and wondering if he'll get to see Adele again or if he'll have to move on with his life completely as he

gets to his door he unlocks it and walks into the apartment as he walks in he turns and closes the door once it's closed he turns around to face the one woman he

didn't think he'd ever see again.)

Mark: Adele!

(She looks at him and smiles at him.)

Mark: What?
Adele: I can't be here for to much longer.
Mark: So why you here?
Adele: We've got another problem?
Mark: And here i thought the problems died down when the Crows arrested the Jerome's.
Adele: You'd think. But no.

(He looks at her as he walks around her.)

Mark: So what's this other problem?
Adele: You remember what i told you about Viggo.
Mark: Yeah.
Adele: Apparently he has a lot more planned than we thought.
Mark: What the hell is supposed to mean?
Adele: It means he plans on taking Gotham over and there's not gonna be anything the Crows the GCPD or the Bat will be able to do.
Mark: You guys keep forgetting one thing.
Adele: Mark this isn't a joke.
Mark: I'm saying that it is. But Batwoman isn't stupid and neither are the Crows. I can't give the GCPD the same credit but their all good at their jobs.
Adele: Mark you know the hell he put Wick through.
Mark: I'm well aware of the hell put John through. But there's nothing i can do about that. But help the Crows and the Bat keep this damn city safe even if it costs me

everything.

Adele: Mark i know you're willing to help but this is personal.
Mark: Of course it's personal because of Viggo's stupid son John came back into something he did everything he could for fives to stay out of. And when he did come

back Santino was an idiot and burnt down the man's house and because of it me and Reagan thought we had lost Ares.

Adele: I know that. Okay and you guys almost lost Reagan because of her sister. I get it.
Mark: Yeah well according to Reagan she's only got one sister and she's related to Oliver Queen.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Mark: Of all the times to tell me this. Why the hell did it have to be two days before Ares and Reagan's wedding?
Adele: Because i knew if i didn't. You were never going to be told and then you and the rest of the Crows Batwoman included would of been blind sided.
Mark: I get that you didn't want us to be blind sided but.
Adele: Whatever he has planned for Gotham isn't good and we all know what he can do in order to get what he wants.
Mark: His son is who killed his Wick's dog and stole his car.
Adele: I realize that. He had a lot of people in his pocket back in New York. Just imagine how many people bad cops or maybe even a bad agent in the Crows again.
Mark: Right because we don't have a shortage of those.
Adele: I'm sorry Mark.

(He looks at her and then looks off then he grabs her into a hug getting her to smile at him as their hugging he kisses her head then pulls away from it. Then she

pulls away from him.)

Adele: I just don't know what to do Mark. I mean i can come out hiding as much as i can to keep you guys in the loop but.

(Mark looks at her and nods his head at her.)

Adele: I can't stay out in the open to much longer because if Viggo finds out i'm here.
Mark: I'd say Batwoman would protect you but.
Adele: Not even the bat can know i'm alive.
Mark: I know she can't.
Adele: Okay. I better go.
Mark: Okay.

(He looks out of the window and sees something pointing at the back of Adele's head and quickly grabs her bringing them both down to the floor as they go down the

bullet goes into the wall and Mark quickly grabs out his weapon and goes to fire until he realize it was a sniper and then looks down at Adele who looks up at him.)

Mark: You realize coming here was crazy right?
Adele: Starting too.
Mark: I gotta call in my boss and you're not arguing.
Adele: Okay.

(Mark grabs out his phone and calls Jacob who answers right away and tells Mark to take her into Crow and then he hangs up as he helps her up and they rush from his

apartment as the sniper takes another shot at them and the door closes right as they get outside of the apartment.)

Mark: Viggo!
Adele: I think he's here.
Mark: Shit. We're getting the Bat involved.
Adele: Okay.

(He helps her up and they rush off towards his truck. Later back over Crow Head Quarters Mark and Adele walk into their command center.)

Mark: Tyler!

(He walks over to them and he tells him what happened and nods his head at him. As he walks her up to their medical wing as they walk out Mark calls Xander who answers

right away.)

Mark: Hey X.
Xander: Hey. You know it's dangerous to call me.
Mark: I know it is. Why you think i'm using the burner Adele sent me.
Xander: What's wrong?
Mark: Tell Me Adele's with you?

(He turns and looks behind him to see her sitting down talking with Nicks and Tolan.)

Xander: Yeah. She hasn't left the safe house. Why?
Mark: Because i think we've got ourselves another skin pirate in Gotham and she's using Adele's face.

(He looks around annoyed.)

Xander: Shit.

(She looks up at him confused.)

Adele: What?
Xander: We gotta go to Gotham.
Adele: Why?
Xander: Someone's using your face.
Adele: Wouldn't it be smart to keep me out of sight.
Xander: Normally yes. But.
Mark: No she's right keep her there i don't want this person to know where you guys have been.
Xander: Okay.
Mark: I'll call and try to keep you guys updated on this.
Xander: Okay. We're gonna get her back to you man.
Mark: I know you will. I just hope it's before i do something stupid.

(He turns and looks at Tyler whose talking with Sophie. Then he goes back to his conversation with Xander than hangs up with him as he turns and looks at Julia.)

Mark: Hey.
Julia: Hey. I talked to Kate.
Mark: And.
Julia: She's gonna keep her eyes out for anyone during her rounds tonight.
Mark: Yeah are right.
Julia: You are right?
Mark: You know i just find it funny how she suddenly shows back up in my life. Two days before Ares and Reagan's wedding.

(Julia looks at him and then looks off as she looks at him again.)

Julia: Skin Pirate?
Mark: Yeah. And i know of only one person who has Adele's body shape.
Julia: Perkins!

(Mark nods his head at her as she looks off annoyed as Mark grabs out his phone and calls Winston who answers right away.)

Mark: Yeah it's me.
Winston: What's wrong?
Mark: I think Perkins is alive.

(He falls silent on the other end.)

Winston: You sure about this?
Mark: Yeah i believe she's wearing a mask.
Winston: Of whose face?
Mark: My dead girlfriends face.
Winston: I'll have Jonathan there shortly.
Mark: Are right.

(Then they hang up as he looks at Julia.)

Mark: Get Ares and Reagan down here right now.

(She nods her head at him as she grabs out her phone and calls Ares who answers right away and tells her to get down Crow Head Quarters. After she hangs up with her

she looks at Mark.)

Julia: Mark!
Mark: I'm suddenly starting to understand why Julian and Ava went after the Evermoist members.
Julia: Why?
Mark: Perkins knew about my relationship with Adele and in order to get to me.
Julia: She sent the Jerome's after Evermoist.
Mark: First the accident and when neither one of them died in the accident.
Julia: She sent Ava after Veracity and Julian after Calamity.
Mark: I'm starting to think Julian was a distraction.
Julia: He distracts you long enough.
Mark: It gives Ava the chance to inject Vera with so much LSD.
Julia: She od's and because her heart can't handle the stress of the drug.
Mark: She dies.

(She looks at him and then looks off then looks back at him.)

Mark: One of my bestfriends lost her sister while the other lost her girlfriend and three other's lost their bandmate.

(She looks at him and feels bad for him and knows how he still felt about Veracity but didn't say anything due to her being with Thea.)

Thea: Mark!

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Hey.
Thea: We got a call from Kate. What the hell is going on?
Mark: You and Oliver remember Perkins.
Oliver: The woman who broke the rules and tried to kill Wick on company grounds?
Mark: The very same.
Oliver: What about her?
Mark: The bitch is alive and is wearing a mask.
Oliver: What?
Mark: She's using Adele's face in order to make me think she's her.
Julia: But he did put a lot of things together involving the woman.
Reagan: Oh do tell i'd love to kill the bitch again myself.

(They turn and look as Ares and Reagan walk into the room.)

Mark: Yeah well unless we can prove it's her behind the mask there's nothing we can really do.
Ares: How we find out she's the one behind it?
Mark: I don't know.

(Over the next couple of hours they continue to try and figure out how to stop whatever other plan Perkins has or figure out if Viggo is actually alive as they

continue to search for any proof of whose wearing Adele's face in order to trick Mark into believing their Adele. As their search continues Mary rushes in and hands

Mark the tablet and he looks at the blood work. As he's looking at it he turns and looks at her.)

Mark: You're sure about this?
Mary: I ran her blood twice the woman down in your guys interrogation room is the real Adele.
Mark: Okay so if the real Adele is down stairs.
Kate: Who the hell is at the safe house with Xander?
Mark: Perkins!

(He grabs out his phone and calls Xander again as he's waiting for him to answer Mark looks at the tablet again when he doesn't get an answer from Xander Mark looks at

over at Kate who looks up at him.)

Kate: What's wrong?
Mark: Xander's not answering his phone.
Ares: Let's go.

(They rush from their command center to go and see what's going on over at the safe house. Later over at the safe they all run up to the door quickly followed by John

Jason and Drew who they had just recently very much like Morgan found out that he's alive and willing to help to finally help take down Viggo and his men once for all

as they get to the apartment Mark's given the okay to kick the door in and kicks in as it flies open they all rush in and look around the apartment as their looking

Mark walks into one of the rooms followed by Ares and Reagan as their looking Mark sees someone on the ground and rushes over to them as he gets to them he kneels down

next to them.)

Mark: Nicks!

(He feels for a pulse and gives off a sign of relief.)

Reagan: He breathing?
Mark: Yeah. Nicks.

(He starts coming too and looks around the room at them.)

Nicks: Mark!
Mark: Yeah you are right?
Nicks: Yeah.
Mark: What happened?
Nicks: We were in here waiting for your call to come through when Adele started acting weird Serena figured out what was going on and quickly grabbed for the gun but

then she grabbed her and they both faught for the gun. As they were fighting for i came in to try and break it up but i was hit from behind and they knocked X out as he

tried to come in and do the samething.

Mark: Where's Serena?
Nicks: I don't know.

(He looks at him and then looks around. Then they hear something out in the living room and quickly rush out to see what's going on as they get out there they see

whose there and Mark charges him sending them out the door as they hit the guard rail he knocks the breath out of him as he gets his barring's he starts beating on him

as he continues to beat on him he sees one of Viggo's men rushing up them and acts quickly as he grabs his gun and shoots out his leg as he knocks the man he was just

beating on unconscious he gets up and walks over to him as he gets to him he looks up at him.)

Mark: Avi!

(He looks up at him.)

Mark: And here i didn't think this new earth could get any less strange.

(He looks at him as Mark press down onto his leg getting him to scream out in pain.)

Mark: Where are my friends?
Avi: I don't know.
Mark: So what the hell are you doing here then?
Avi: I came looking Cage.
Mark: Why?
Avi: Why you care?

(Mark presses down onto his leg getting him to scream out in pain again.)

Mark: What you want with Xander Cage?
Avi: Okay okay. It's not Cage he wants.
Mark: Whose he want?
Avi: Your girlfriend.

(Mark looks at him.)

Mark: Adele's dead.
Avi: Not her.
Mark: Well then who?
Avi: Veracity Kane.

(Mark quickly steps off of him and looks at Kate who looks just as surprised by him bringing up her sister's name.)

Kate: My sister's dead.
Avi: No she's not.
Mark: What?
Avi: She's not dead.
Mark: I saw her body.
Avi: You saw what we wanted you too see.
Mark: Who the hell was in that bed Avi?
Avi: Jonathan Cartwright.

(Mark looks at Kate who looks at him.)

Kate: You killed Mouse?
Avi: No. That stupid psycho bitch that your friends girlfriend calls a mother.
Mark: Ava killed Mouse?
Avi: Yes. We didn't want either one of the Evermoist members to die. And when we heard about the accident that those caused when Julian messed with Morgan's breaks.
Mark: So you guys didn't want anyone dead?
Avi: No. At least i don't.

(Oliver walks over to him and picks him up getting him to hurt himself.)

Oliver: Who ordered the hit against the Evermoist members?
Avi: Stella Kidd.

(Mark looks at him and then looks off not sure of what to say to him.)

Oliver: Why?
Avi: She wanted one of the members to die and when one did she said Veracity wasn't the one who was supposed to die that day.
Mark: Who was?
Avi: Wendy Seagers twin sister Serenity.

(Mark looks at Kate who looks off even more annoyed than she are ready was.)

Kate: Where's my sister?
Avi: That i don't know. All i know is that she's alive and out there somewhere.
Mark: For your sake she better be. Arrest him and the other's.

(One of the agents rushes over to him and puts him handcuff's as Oliver walks over to him.)

Oliver: Mark!

(He looks at him.)

Mark: Yeah?
Thea: If she's alive.
Mark: We're gonna find her and when we do you'll get the woman you love back.

(Thea looks at him and knows how he still feels about her and knows he's trying his hardest not to say anything to her out of respect for her and her relationship with

Veracity but she looks at her brother.)

Oliver: I know.
Thea: He's trying his hardest not to say anything and it's not fair him.
Oliver: No it's not. But he loves Adele just as much.
Thea: Not nearly as much as Veracity.

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Oliver: No he doesn't. But he's not gonna make you break up with her. He knows how you feel about her.
Thea: I know he does. It's just what the hell am i going to do when we find her Ollie i love her. But i just.
Oliver: If you being with her so far hasn't messed with your friendship there's no reason as to why it would now.

(She nods her head at him. Later back over at Crow Head Quarters after arresting Avi and the rest of his men Cutter included they arrived back at Crow Head Quarters to

start up the search for Serena Perkins and Veracity as soon as they started their investigation Calamity arrived at Crow looking for Mark after he called her she

headed over to go and talk to him. Seeing her walk in he walked over to her and they walked out of their command center once their out of ear shot he turned and looked

at her as he looks at her he tells her what Avi told them as he's telling her she looks at him in shock and then looks off not sure of what say to him.)

Calamity: You sure it's her? Or the fact that you can take this guy at his word?
Mark: Well no we don't know if it's actually her. And i know i can't take this guy at his word given who he worked with.
Calamity: So if it is her?
Mark: If it is her then Kate and Mary will have their sister back and Thea will have her girlfriend back.
Calamity: Where's that leave you?

(He looks at her and then looks off as he looks back at her.)

Mark: I honestly don't know. I really don't it's just. with Veracity supposedly still being alive. I can honestly say i don't know where that leaves me. I mean i'm not

gonna tell Thea to break up with her. I wouldn't do that.

Calamity: Good to know.
Mark: I was just telling Jason not to long ago. How unfair it was that we got you back. Just lose Veracity.

(She looks at him and feels bad for him as he looks around but looks at her.)

Calamity: It hasn't really been all that easy on me and the other girls.
Mark: I know that. I know her death hit you guys just as hard but.
Calamity: It her death hit her family a little harder given the hell they've all been through.
Mark: Yeah.
Calamity: I just don't know what to do with this information. I really don't. I mean with as happy as i am that she could be alive.
Mark: What?
Calamity: There's other part of me that wants it all to be a lie so that she can rest in peace you know.
Mark: I do actually.
Calamity: I just don't know what to think Mark i really don't.

(He looks at her not sure of what to say to her.)

Mark: I don't know what to say think either Calamity. As happy as we'll all be if it turns out to be true bout Vera being alive.
Calamity: Yeah.
Mark: Hey.

(She looks at him.)

Mark: Cal if she's still alive.
Calamity: It will be the happiest day of mine and the other girls lives. Other than being with the women we love.
Mark: Yeah.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Calamity: It happened once. And never tell Beca.
Mark: I wouldn't dream of it. She's who you wanna be with and it never should of happened. Just don't.
Calamity: We were safe.
Mark: I know that.
Sophie: Mark!

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Yeah.
Sophie: We've got a hit on where Perkins could have both Serena and Veracity.
Mark: Where?
Perkins: Right here Buchanan.

(Mark turns and looks at her as he sees her he has Calamity back up and she stands on the other side of the wall as a group of agents rush forward guns at the ready.)

Perkins: Awe now Mark their hurting my feelings.
Mark: Funny i didn't think you had any given how quickly you turned Marcus over to Viggo.
Perkins: He was asked to kill John Wick and he couldn't do that right.
Mark: So you thought you'd break company rules and try to kill John in the Continental?

(She looks at him and keeps the gun in Serena's side getting her to wince.)

Perkins: Keep it up Mark.
Mark: What you want?

(She shoves Serena to the ground as she goes down she puts the gun to her head and looks at Mark.)

Perkins: You to pay.
Mark: For what? Huh? How the hell is kidnapping one of my friends away to make me pay.
Perkins: Oh so you think me kidnapping her was the only thing i did.
Mark: If you don't think i haven't figured out that you're the one who had Julian Jerome mess with the Breaks on Morgan Corinthos car you're even dumber then people

give you credit for. And to have his breaks go out right as Morgan was about to reach the truck getting ready to turn. Just how did you know that Calamity would be on

that very same strach of road there Perkins huh. Because of you three of my friends nearly lost the women they love and one other one who did lose the woman she loves

all because you told Ava to inject her with LSD. You knew with that much in her system it would kill her and you didn't care.

(She looks at him.)

Mark: And then to really top it all off. You had to go and have my girlfriend killed.

(Mark having reached her puts his gun to her head getting her to back off a little.)

Mark: You know everything on this earth was going just fine until you and Avi showed your faces on it again. And because of you Avi and the Jerome's one of my

bestfriends and my girlfriend are dead.

(He keeps the gun on her head as she looks at him and points the gun at him getting him to look down.)

Mark: You can kill me all you want. But the thing is. You pull that trigger and you'll every agent in this building looking for your ass non-stop. And if you think the

Bat will let you walk out of this city without having something done to you. You're out of your mind.

(He cocks the gun and keeps it pointed at her head. As she's got her own on his abdomen. As he's got it pointed at her head Kate and Kara walk up to them Mark feeling

them behind him doesn't turn around to face them but instead keeps the gun pointed at the woman's head. Then he sees someone with a gun pointed at Kate and acts quickly

getting him in the shoulder sending him down as Serena kicks Perkins leg out from her under her and Mark moves out of the way as they get into a fight as their

fighting Mark walks over to everyone else.)

Tyler: You are right?
Mark: I'm fine.

(Over by Serena and Perkins she gets the upper hand as Cutter comes back in and goes to shoot her but Mark gets to them in time and throws them into one of the

training rooms as they get in there they both go to the floor as Mark starts beating on him as he's beating on his face he gets barring's and shoves Mark off of him

once he's off he gets back up and looks at him. As he gets back up Mark stands up and charges him sending them into the training platform as they hit it Cutter gets

the upper hand and hits Mark in the head with the rod lying there sending him to the side as he goes over Mark shakes his head and then turns to look at him as he

turns and looks at him he sees him with a knife out and Mark kicks in the stomach getting him to double over and then kicks his legs out from under him once he's down

on the floor as he lands Mark gets up and looks at him as he gets back up and tackles him into the training platform as their fight continues Mark's able to get one of

his hands free and punches him sending his head to the side as he goes to the side Mark goes to get up but Cutter gets up and wraps his arms around his neck getting

Mark to fight him off even more as they get up he backs them up into the wall getting him to hurt himself as he hits the wall he loosen's his grip on Mark and he's

able to get out of his grip once he's out he shoots his leg out from under him and he goes down as Mark puts the gun to his head as he keeps his arm twisted behind his

back.)

Mark: Give me one reason i shouldn't kill you?

(He looks up at him.)

Cutter: I'd keep me alive if you wanna find your girlfriend.
Mark: Like i told your bitch out there my girlfriends dead.
Cutter: I wasn't talking about Adele Wolff.
Mark: Veracity wasn't my girlfriend.
Cutter: No but you wanted her to be.
Mark: Been there done that.

(He looks at him and then laughs as he grabs out his knife and gets Mark in the leg with it getting him to let his arm go and then goes down himself as he goes down

Cutter gets his barring's and starts beating on Mark as he's beating on him Mark grabs his leg and punches it in the bullet wound sending him down again as he goes

down he grabs the knife out of his leg and throws it away from him and out of Cutter's reach or so he thinks that is until he grabs it and goes after Mark again as he

gets to him he turns him over and goes to try and stab him in the chest with it seeing what's going on Jacob rushes forward and tackles him to the ground as gets him

there he throws the knife away from him and then starts punching him sending his head to the side as he continues to punch him Mark gets his barrings back and tries

reaching for his boss but can't. But keeps at it until he gets up and grabs his arm and stops him.)

Mark: Commander.

(He stops what he's doing and looks at him.)

Mark: We finally got the bastard.

(He nods his head at him as Mark backs up to go and walk out of the room as Cutter gets the upper hand again and goes off after Jacob whose just gotten off of him as

he gets up he sends them both to the ground as Mark turns to see what's going on he sees where he has the knife and flashes back to the night Ares was stabbed and then

quickly comes out of it as he rushes over to them and tackles him to the ground again as he lands Mark grabs the knife and twist it and throws it away as he grabs up

his gun and hits him in the face with it knocking him out once he's out he rushes over to his boss and checks him over.)

Mark: Commander.
Jacob: I'm are right.
Kate: Dad.

(Mark moves out of her way and let's her in as Ares rushes over to him and helps him up but he quickly loses his footing and Calamity catches him and sits down on the

ground.)

Mark: Thanks.
Calamity: Anytime.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Can it be Ares and Reagan's wedding day yet.

(They look at him and laugh. As Mark falls into his ex who laughs at him even more as she hugs him.)

Mark: I miss Vera Cal.
Calamity: I know.

(She keeps a hold of him as he looks over at her family.)

Mark: I miss her so damn much.

(She smiles at him as she continues to hug him as he finally breaks down in her arms as she's holding him as she's trying to keep from losing it along with him. As

they all sit there trying to wrap their heads around everything that's happened Mark continues to cry in his ex's arms whose still trying to keep from losing it she

finally loses it when Beca walks up to her and grabs her as Alex walks up to Mark and takes him from Calamity and hangs onto him as she's holding him she looks over at

her sister whose got her girlfriend in her arms. She looks at Mark again whose starting to calm down from losing it he looks up at her and smiles at her.)

Alex: I'm sorry Mark.
Mark: It's fine. As long as this prick and that bitch go down for her murder.
Sophie: They will be.

(She turns Cutter over and puts him in hand cuff's. Once he's hand cuffed they get him up and walk him out of the room as they walk he limps out of the room as Mark

leans against the training platform thinking about the woman they had lost two months ago and can't find himself wanting to get over her even if he does have a

girlfriend he puts his head back and tries to keep from losing it again but can't and loses it again as Reagan walks over to him and grabs him into a hug getting him

to smile at her. Over the next couple of hours Mark stay's sitting there after Mary worked on his leg and walked off to go up and check on her father. Later night over

at the Hold up Ares and Reagan's bachlortte party is in full swing everyone is there talking and joking around trying to enjoy themselves after the day they had in

between finally catching both Perkins and getting Cutter off of the streets after finally getting them both off of the streets Mark went to see Veracity's grave site

as he was visiting with her he talked and joked around with her as of she was there with him once his visit was over he turned and left to go home and get ready for

Ares and Reagan's Bachlortte party. As soon as he got to the club he walked up to the counter and sat down wanting to be away from everyone as he's sitting there the

bartender walks up to him.)

Bartender: What can i get you?
Mark: Lime and soda.

(He nods his head at him then turns and walks off to go and make his drink as he's sitting there Morgan walks over to him and sits down next to him.)

Morgan: Hey man.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Hey.
Morgan: How you feel?
Mark: Like crap.

(He nods his head at him.)

Morgan: I hear ya.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: How you doing?
Morgan: I'm getting there. It's still a shock to know Ava would do that. I'm still.
Mark: No Morgan come on. It's not your fault i don't blame you for their accident. They all survived the accident. And Veracity would still be here if she hadn't of.
Morgan: Yeah.
Mark: You don't have to sit over here with me man.
Morgan: No come on. I want to besides sitting over there with all of the happy couples kind of.
Mark: Yeah.
Morgan: I know how much you miss them.
Mark: Yeah i didn't think i'd ever have that hope of ever getting Adele back pulled away from me. Or never getting to see Veracity again.
Morgan: I hear ya.

(Mark laughs at him.)

Mark: Yeah no kidding.
Morgan: Hey i wanted to ask you something.
Mark: I swear whatever it is. I saw Chase do it.

(He looks at him as Morgan starts laughing at him.)

Chase: God.

(He walks off laughing at them.)

Mark: I'm sorry.
Morgan: No it's fine. In fact that was funny.

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Well thank you.
Morgan: You're welcome. Anyway. No i was wanting to know what it's like to kiss a guy?

(Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Uh well. It's nothing really all that different from kissing a woman.
Morgan: I know I know that.
Mark: Oh you mean't.
Morgan: Yeah.
Mark: You know it's very hard to explain. Why you ask?
Morgan: Just wondering.
Mark: Oh okay.
Morgan: You don't believe me?
Mark: I didn't say that.
Morgan: You could of fooled me.

(Mark looks at him and laughs as the bartender hands him his drink and he pays for it as he nods his head at him as he turns and walks off.)

Mark: All i can say is kissing a guy is completely different from kissing a woman.
Morgan: How's that?
Mark: Well to me kissing a guy their lips are rough to me and well kissing a woman the lips are soft so.
Morgan: Ever thought about you know?
Mark: Sleeping with someone else?
Morgan: Yes.
Mark: I have and why are you all of sudden so interested in me?
Morgan: You're cute.

(Mark looks at him and laughs as he looks off.)

Mark: Boy if Michael was over here to see you hitting on me.
Morgan: I-I-I know he'd never let me live it down.
Mark: What are brother's for?
Morgan: To pick on but that's not the point.
Mark: What the hell is the point?
Morgan: Not that.

(They start laughing than calm down as someone walks up to them.)

Mark: Hey it's everyone's favorite superhero. Don't tell Kara i said that.
Morgan: I won't. Hi Kate.
Kate: Hi. How you doing?
Mark: I'm are right.
Kate: Okay. And if you wanna go home. I'm sure Ares and Reagan wouldn't be offended.
Mark: I know they wouldn't be. I just wanna be here for them.
Kate: Okay. But like i said.
Mark: I know.

(She nods her head at him as she turns and walks off again as Mark looks back over at them and then looks at Morgan.)

Morgan: You are right?
Mark: Yeah.

(Over the next ten twenty minutes Mark and Morgan continue to talk and joke around as their joking around Mark looks back at his friends and starts feeling upset again

so he gets up and walks out of the club seeing him walk out Ares feels bad for him because he doesn't have either he loved here with him. Knowing how he feels Morgan

gets up and goes after him which gets his brother to look up at him but knowing how he feels he doesn't go after him.)

Kate: You are right?
Michael: Yeah i'm are right.

(She nods her head at him as they get back to the party. Later over at Mark's he's sitting down on his couch with his head back thinking as he's thinking someone

knocks on his door he gets up to go and see who it is as he's walking towards the door he's limping from where Cutter stabbed his leg as he gets to the door he opens

it to find the last person he ever thought to see there.)

Mark: Morgan!
Morgan: Hi.
Mark: Hi. what's going on?
Morgan: I know you said that kissing a guy is really no different from kissing a woman. But i just.
Mark: You just what?
Morgan: I wanna do something that i hope you won't get to mad at me for doing.
Mark: Depends on what you wanna do.

(He walks into the apartment more and Mark looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: What you doing?
Morgan: Something i'll more and likely regret doing in the morning.

(Mark looks at him and laughs as he realizes what he means and grabs him into him.)

Mark: I have a feeling you won't be regretting it.
Morgan: I sure hope not.

(He kisses him catching Mark off guard. Meanwhile over at the Hold up everyone is still there talking and joking around as Oliver looks at the time and tells Reagan

who nods her head at him.)

Reagan: Yeah okay. Babe i'll see you tomorrow.
Ares: Yes you will. I can't wait to call you my wife.
Reagan: I can't wait either. I love you.
Ares: I love you too.

(She kisses her then pulls away from her as they turn and walk out of the club to go back to their hotel for the night. As the party draws to a close everyone gets up

to leave the club for the night and head back to their places for the rest of the night so that they can get some sleep and be well rested for tomorrow because

tomorrow starts the rest of Ares and Reagan's life. They just hope they can get through it as peacefully as they did with the Bachlortte party.

Chapter Text

The following morning.

(It's the morning of Ares and Reagan's wedding over at the Hamilton-Kane penthouse Ares is up and reading the paper as Kate walks up to her and sits down next to her.)

Ares: You are right?
Kate: Yeah. It's just with everything that has been going on the last several months between the accident to losing my sister and then Mark losing his girlfriend i can

understand him leaving the club the way he did last night.

Ares: I'm sure you can. But not a lot of other people would see that.
Kate: Yeah well.
Ares: But no i hear ya. He misses them and i can really understand him leaving the way he did. He still loved your sister and he loved Adele but.
Kate: Losing them the way he did doesn't take away the way pain he felt when he lost them.
Ares: No it won't. But at least one good thing came out of this nightmare.

(Kate looks at her and laughs.)

Kate: Yeah Mary is so happy to have her mother back. But Alice isn't.
Ares: You really care what Alice thinks?
Kate: No i don't.
Ares: Okay good.

(She laughs at her as Mary walks up to them and sits down next to them.)

Kate: You are right?
Mary: Yeah. It's just if you and Kara ever get married you're planning your own bachlorette party.

(Kate looks at her and laughs along with Ares. Which gets Mary to look at them.)

Mary: What?
Ares: Yeah i some how have a feeling if her and Kara ever get married there's noway you'd let them plan their own bachlorette parties. Or party.
Mary: Yes i will.
Kate: Mary they wanted to use a wedding planner to plan the wedding and the bachlorette party but you took over the planning.
Mary: I just thought.
Ares: I'm sure the venue is going to be very pretty Mary.
Mary: Yeah speaking of that i gotta back to Mark's building and do the last minute details on his penthouse.

(They laugh at her.)

Mary: Shut up.

(They continue to laugh at her as she walks off towards her room as Kara walks out into the living room.)

Mary: There are time where i really hate your girlfriend.
Kara: Why what she do?
Mary: She's picking on me.
Kara: What are sister's for?
Mary: To pick on. But Reagan's wife to be isn't helping anyway.
Kara: Yeah that's Ares for ya.
Ares: Hey.

(They start laughing at her face.)

Kate: I can honestly see what Reagan sees in you now.
Ares: Oh yeah what's that?
Kate: You put up with so much.

(She looks at her and laughs.)

Ares: It's kind of hard not to.

(Kate looks at her and laughs.)

Kate: I hear ya.

(She laughs at her as Kara walks over to them and sits in Kate's lap getting her to laugh at her.)

Kara: You are right?
Kate: Yeah i'm fine. Have you heard from Mark yet?
Kara: No. But than again. I have a feeling he might not even go to the wedding.
Ares: If he doesn't i'm not gonna stop him.
Kara: I'm so glad you'd be okay with that.
Ares: He's still grieving he really loved them both and losing them in a span of one week doesn't make it any easier on him.
Kara: Yeah i know. I don't know what i'd do if i ever lost Kate here or anyone i love the way he lost her.
Ares: Hope you never have to find out.
Kara: No actually i did lose someone i loved.
Kate: Your?
Kara: Yeah. They found his body last year and Alex shut herself off.
Ares: That what Mark's doing?
Kara: Pretty much. But then again from what i hear from both Oliver and Thea both Mark and Reagan shut themselves off when they lost both you and Santino.

(Ares looks at her and then to who Kate smiles at her as she kisses Kara's head getting her to smile at her as the elevator to the penthouse opens and Mark walks off

of it followed by Morgan and his brother.)

Mark: Hey all.

(They turn and look at him.)

Kate: Hey. You are right?
Mark: Yeah i'm fine. We just come barring breakfast that could feed an army. And well Kara.

(She looks at him as Kate's trying to keep from laughing.)

Kara: I'm not that bad.
Mark: Kara you could easily make Kate broke with how much you eat.
Kara: Shut up.
Mark: Anyway.

(He puts the bags down and looks at Ares then looks at Morgan who can't help but laugh at what he said along with Michael.)

Mark: Tell me i'm wrong.
Michael: We would but that was funny.
Mark: I know.
Ares: What you get?
Mark: Well i know Kate's veggin so i got her this.

(He hands Kate her food and she laughs at him.)

Kate: Thank you.
Mark: Anytime. Your parents and Mary up yet?
Kate: Mary is i don't know if my parents are awake yet.
Jacob: Hey.

(They turn and look at him.)

Mark: Hey. Um i know you guys normally have someone make your breakfast but. I thought it was Ares and Reagan's special day so i went out and baught food.
Jacob: Wow.
Mark: Yeah. They said the samething so.

(They start laughing than calm down as Reagan walks off of the elevator followed by Oliver Thea Mia William and Felicity.)

Oliver: Hey.
Mark: Hey. I thought we could all have breakfast together. I would of invited The Bellas and Evermoist but they were are ready in the studio recording the album their

gonna put out so.

Ares: Mark!
Mark: I'm are right i swear if i wasn't i wouldn't be here.

(She nods her head at him.)

Mark: You don't believe me do you?
Ares: It's very hard too. Given what we all learned yesterday.

(He looks at her and then they walk out towards their balcony as they get out there he closes the door and he looks at her.)

Ares: What's going on?
Mark: I slept with Morgan last night.

(She looks at him and laughs off the shock.)

Ares: Oh wow.
Mark: Yeah. We haven't told anyone. But than again we haven't really talked about it.
Ares: Mark if anyone ever finds out about what happened between you two.
Mark: So what? We're two grown men who know their doing. And the only person who could really blackmail us is in a prison cell where she belongs and the other one is

dead.

Ares: I was talking about someone else.
Mark: Brit can't do anything. She's more worried about Brad then anything.
Ares: Why?
Mark: It happened last year. But Cyrus had Brad attacked in his cell and he nearly died because of it.
Ares: Explains why him and Lucas are back together.
Mark: Yeah. It doesn't make Julian very happy but than again.
Ares: Julian tried have his son's nephew killed.
Mark: Not just Morgan.
Ares: I know them too. But what i want to know is. Why the hell would Stella Kidd want Serenity dead. As far as i can tell.
Mark: I know Wendy's the one dating Severide.
Ares: So why go after her sister?
Mark: Well Serenity and Wendy are twins.
Ares: I know but you can tell them apart just by the hair and the outfits.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Ares: Shut up.
Mark: I would. But i saw the look on your face.
Ares: Okay so i gave a look don't tell Reagan.
Mark: Now that is something i'd never do. At least not on your wedding day.

(She looks at him and then looks off as he's trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: Anyway.
Ares: Look Mark i just.
Mark: Look Stella might have her reasons for going after Serenity and their not all good. But the thing is she's not gonna get away with it forever.
Ares: Because of Stella Kidd Calamity and her bandmates nearly lost their lives in that accident. I mean Veracity did die. But.
Mark: No hey. It's just Out of all the people to go after why them?
Ares: I guess Stella knew it would do the most damage if not one but all four of them died in that accident and she didn't care if she broke hearts in the end.
Mark: Wendy had just found her sister again.
Ares: I know she had. You know it's funny.
Mark: What?
Ares: We came out here to talk about you and Morgan and somehow the conversation switched over the accident.
Mark: I can slick that way.

(She looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: But no. It's just i never thought i'd be one to sleep with one of Sonny's kids i didn't.
Ares: What makes Morgan so much more different.
Mark: It was nice to be able to stick it to Ava Jerome.

(She laughs at him.)

Ares: Wow.
Mark: I'm sorry. I had to.
Ares: Oh no i know you did. But seriously.
Mark: Okay so it wasn't all that funny.
Ares: Oh no it was funny. I just didn't think you'd actually say that.
Mark: Yeah i know and i know it was wrong.
Ares: In a way it was but very funny.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: I'm sure. Anyway. You nervous?
Ares: At the moment i'm not. But then again ask me in about.

(She looks at her watch and laughs.)

Ares: Wow three hours.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Yeah okay.
Ares: Are right. Mark!
Mark: Yeah.
Ares: Why'd you sleep with Morgan?
Mark: I can honestly tell you i don't know why. Because up until last night i was still grieving over losing two of the women i loved and then we learned what we did

last night and i just i found a lot of comfort in Sonny and Carly's youngest son.

(She nods her head at him.)

Mark: I just. He's a great guy he's nice he's hot i won't denie that part in the least. But.
Ares: What?
Mark: I can honestly say i don't know if what happened last night will lead to anything.
Ares: Do you want it too?

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Mark: Honestly.
Ares: Normally helps.
Mark: No i don't.
Ares: What happens if he does?
Mark: We'll talk about it.
Ares: Okay.

(He smiles at her as he looks out at the city.)

Ares: Hey.

(He turns and looks at her.)

Ares: We all miss them Mark.
Mark: I know that. I just can't seem to keep either one of them off of my mind.
Ares: I can tell. I mean you can walk around and be fine but when it comes around to those two women you can't focus.
Mark: Trust me. I've tried.
Ares: You can try as much as you want the hurt you feel from losing them doesn't help. Mainly when the person behind those two people's death's keep trying to get out

of doing time for their crimes.

Mark: I know that.
Ares: Don't let what Ava and Julian are doing try and keep you from moving on with your life. Although them trying to make you and her friends think that Adele is

alive wasn't funny.

Mark: Yeah i know.
Ares: But they thought it was.
Mark: Their also heartless so that doesn't really surprise me.

(Ares looks at him and laughs again then calms down.)

Ares: I'm sure. Hey speaking of getting off topic.
Mark: No i haven't seen any of them since Veracity died. I've been kind of trying to stay away from Chicago since she died.
Ares: Okay. Which will of course lead me to my next question. Which is why?

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Mark: Ares i don't blame them for her death i don't. The doctor's and nurses over at Med worked hard to try and bring her back but. I just haven't been able to step

foot into Chicago and it's not because of the Doctor's and the nurses over at Med and it's not because of the Firehouse didn't try hard enough to get them out of the

truck. It was a completely different thing.

Ares: So what's keeping you out of Chicago?
Mark: Their accident took place just blocks away from the House blues there and in order to get to where the hospital or the firehouse is i'd have to pass by the spot

and i just. I can't do it.

(She looks at him and feels bad for him.)

Ares: You can't stay away from Chicago all because you're more an likely going to come up on the street where they had their accident. If people stayed away from

Chicago all because someone they cared about died there or if we all stayed inside all because of Covid we'd never live our lives. It's a new year Mark. I think we all

should try and get on with out lives.

Mark: It's so easy for some people to say that.
Ares: Mark because of us we saved a city staple. Because of you and your idea to buy out Old Tucson from the county that it's in. It's once again open to the public

and open to anyone who wants to go and see it. Weather they wanna go wearing a mask of without it. It's not being enforced so anyone who wants to or doesn't want to.

They don't have too.

Mark: Now we're talking about Covid okay.

(She laughs at him.)

Ares: All i'm saying is that. We all have something we're trying to stay away from. Topics such as Covid or wanting to stay out of city all because someone died in it

or because it snowed or rained while you were there.

Mark: Are you telling me to get over myself?
Ares: Not in so many words.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Yeah okay.
Ares: I'm not saying you have to go because i'm not. It's up to you on weather you go back there or not.

(He nods his head at her.)

Mark: Okay.
Ares: Are right.
Mar: You mind if go.
Ares: I don't have a problem with it. I mean the wedding isn't for another three hours so.
Mark: Okay. I'll head out there to see everyone after breakfast.
Ares: Okay.

(They walk off back inside of the penthouse as they walk in Mark closes the door behind them once it's closed they walk over to the table and sit down to talk and joke

around with everyone before the wedding. Later over in Chicago Mark pulls up to where the girls had their accident and pulls over once he's pulled over he stops the

truck and sits there as he's sitting there he puts it into park then shuts it off once it's off he gets out and closes his door. Once it's closed he walks over to spot

where Calamity's truck was sitting after the accident and looks down at what all of the bands fans did in order to help them remember the member the band lost as he

kneels down next to her memorial he grabs up something that's on the ground and looks it over as he's looking it over someone walks up to him and puts his hand onto

his shoulder getting him to turn and look at him as he looks at him he stands up to look at him.)

Mark: Hey man.
Casey: Hey. I didn't think we'd ever see you in Chicago again.
Mark: Yeah well i was told by a friend to get over myself.
Casey: Ares!
Mark: Ares! When did they?
Casey: The day she passed away all of their fans came here and set this up they candle's pictures and messages for her hoping that she can read them.

(Mark looks at him and laughs as he shows him what he was looking at.)

Mark: You don't realize how much someone means to you until their gone.
Casey: I hear ya.
Mark: Losing Veracity was one hell of a blow to her bandmates and their fans. And to her family it was an even bigger blow given how Kate lost her mother and sister

the same way.

Casey: A car accident?
Mark: Yeah. Only thing is her sister is very much alive only a nutcase and her mother's dead.

(He looks at him and nods his head at him.)

Mark: The Joker had rammed into the back of their mother's car which sent the car into guard railing. I mean the car was still there and Kate was able to get out but

Alice wasn't.
Casey: Their mother?
Mark: Died on impact.
Casey: Oh gees.
Mark: Yeah. You know arriving at the time me Severide and Seager did seeing the shape the truck was in knowing or well hoping they weren't all dead.
Casey: What the hell were they trying to do?
Mark: To prove that they could kill for innocent women and not get caught. Only thing is Ava couldn't hide behind her rich husband.
Casey: Really?
Mark: Yeah. The second he heard about the accident he had known what both her and Julian did in order to get someone in line.
Casey: I really am sorry man.

(Mark looks at him and laughs as he looks down at the picture again then places it back down onto the ground as he looks at him.)

Mark: Don't be. You guys did everything you could to get them out of the truck and on to the hospital. Too bad the Jerome's didn't give up after screwing with Morgan's

breaks.

(Casey looks at him confused.)

Casey: Someone messed with his breaks?
Mark: That's what the CPD figured why?
Casey: Come with me.

(They both walk off towards where they found Morgan's car as they get there Casey turns and looks at him.)

Mark: What's going on?
Casey: Okay first of all what do you see?
Mark: You.

(He looks at him and laughs.)

Mark: Are right are right. Um not a whole lot.
Casey: Look down.

(He does as he's told and looks down.)

Mark: What am i looking for.
Casey: Well we've had rain since the accident but. When we found Morgan's car there were skid marks.

(Mark looks up at him.)

Mark: Skid Mark's.
Casey: Yeah. And they lead all the way to his car.
Mark: Which mean's his breaks started working right after hit Calamity's truck.
Casey: Or he was helping them and didn't want anyone to know.
Mark: But why? I mean he'd told his parents that he wanted nothing else to do with Ava and Julian Jerome.
Casey: We all do things that we all wish we could take back.
Mark: How how long after the Evermoist getting to the hospital did it take for you guys to get the call about Morgan's car being found?
Casey: An hour later.
Mark: You mean his car had been sitting here an hour and no one bothered to call the fucken police.
Casey: I know. Me Severide and Seager all thought that was strange too so we looked into it.
Mark: And?
Casey: Mark we didn't know about Morgan's car because it wasn't Morgan who hit them.
Mark: Who the hell was it?
Casey: Ava Jerome.

(He looks at her and then looks off.)

Mark: So who the hell hit Morgan?
Casey: According to Jay he wasn't even in the accident that day.
Mark: Casey we all saw him.
Casey: I know we did. But the CPD seem to believe he was placed into the car after the accident.
Mark: Well now that makes senses.
Casey: What?
Mark: I saw how badly Veracity and the other members of the band looked while they were in the car and i got an even better look when they taked out of it.
Casey: Okay?
Mark: Casey they had bruises and cuts all over them due the glass breaking when truck was crashed into.
Casey: Morgan didn't have any of those when we pulled him out of the car.
Mark: Son of a bitch was apart of it. They had him beaten up in order to make it seem like he was in the accident.
Casey: But what they didn't take into account was.
Mark: That they had cuts and bruises all over them from the window's breaking.
Casey: Hey.
Mark: God. This sucks because we can't prove it.
Casey: Are you sure about that?
Mark: Yes i am.
Casey: What's going on?
Mark: It's the day of Ares and Reagan's wedding and i can't put something like this on it.
Casey: Mark her bandmates and her girlfriend have a right to know who was behind the accident.
Mark: It just makes Morgan out to be a damn victim.
Casey: But he would of known about this accident before hand.
Mark: Yeah this maybe true. But if he was still working along side them. He could turn it around and make it seem like Ava wanted him dead and that's the story he's

been along with the last several months Casey.

Casey: Mark!
Mark: Hell it's even going to work out in favor even more now that.
Casey: Now that what?
Mark: I slept with him.

(He looks at him and then looks off. Then he looks at him again.)

Mark: I just.
Casey: You still loved her.
Mark: So damn much. I just i never wanted to say anything to Thea because i know how much Veracity mean't to her.
Casey: So in order for her to be happy you kept quiet on how you still felt about her girlfriend.
Mark: Yes. God this is going to piss her and Kate off. Not to mention her bandmates.
Casey: You seriously wanna keep this from them i mean i know it's Ares and Reagan's wedding day. But they all have a right to know who really slammed into Calamity's

car that day.
Mark: Yeah i know. Get Voight and meet me back in Gotham.
Casey: Okay.

(Mark walks back over to his truck as he's walking back over to it he calls Jacob who answers it on the first ring.)

Jacob: Kane!
Mark: Yeah commander is Morgan Corinthos still at your place?

(He looks around and spots him.)

Jacob: Yeah why?
Mark: Keep him there i'll explain it once i get back there.
Jacob: Okay.

(As he gets to his truck he gets in and closes the door once it's closed he starts it up and quickly puts it into drive and takes off back towards Gotham. Minutes

later Mark arrives at Catherine and Jacob's building as he pulls up he stops the truck and puts it into park once it's in park he shuts it off and quickly gets out of

it as he gets out Voight pulls up behind him. As they all get out of their veichles a group of Crows arrive and walk inside of the building with Mark leading the

charge.)

Mark: Are right my commander and his wife live up on very top floor.
Jay: He lives in a Penthouse.
Mark: It's his wife's and yes he does.
Kim: Lucky bastard.
Mark: Yeah no shit.

(She laughs at him as he sees Sophie and Julia walk up to him.)

Sophie: I called and told Kate.
Mark: Why?
Sophie: It's best if she wasn't blind sided by this.
Mark: Yeah okay.
Julia: Besides Kara's up there.
Mark: I'm just glad the other Evermoist member's aren't here.
Ares: Actually they arrived shortly after you left.
Mark: Oh great. Wick you and Ares have the roof across the street don't fire until you're told.
John: Understood. Let's do this.

(He looks at her and laughs as they rush onto the elevator. Later up on the very top floor Mark Sophie and Julia walk off of it along with Voight and his team.)

Mark: Commander.
Jacob: Kate told us. You are right?
Mark: Not even close. Where's Oliver and Thea?
Mary: She went to see Veracity's grave after Kate told us.
Mark: Okay.
Michael: Hey.
Mark: Hey.
Michael: You are right?
Mark: No. I'm couldn't be any less okay.
Michael: They told us.
Mark: And you can tell i'm trying my hardest not going over there and knocking his damn lights out.
Michael: I hear ya.
Jacob: I'm pretty sure this isn't how Ares and Reagan wanted their wedding day to start.
Mark: I know it's not.
Sophie: How you wanna handle this.

(Then they hear someone punch Morgan sending him down seeing who did it Mark rushed forward as he gets to them he grabs Calamity and pushes her back.)

Mark: Hey hey Cal come on. He'll get what's coming to him.
Calamity: Unless his ex whore gets her way.
Mark: She won't Michael and his parents know what Morgan did and aren't to happy with him.
Calamity: Our friend is dead because of him his ex bitch and her damn brother.
Mark: I get it Calamity i do. I'm just as pissed off by this. Vera didn't deserve to die the way she did. No one does.

(She looks at him and nods her head at him.)

Mark: We're gonna get him okay.

(She nods her head at him.)

Mark: Charity!
Charity: Cal.

(She grabs her friend and pulls her back as Mark turns and looks at Morgan who has just stood up.)

Morgan: Mark!
Mark: Save it. Because of you Ava and Julian an innocent woman is dead. The woman she loved is going through hell all over again and not to mention her friends and her

family. I mean damn it Morgan you swore to me and to Michael along with your parents that you were done working with Julian and Ava.

Morgan: I was but than Ava came to and told me that she knew the way to help me get the person i wanted.
Mark: And that was to try and kill them and when the accident didn't work.
Morgan: None of them were supposed to die okay i'm sorry.
Mark: My bestfriend just lost another sister Morgan and another friend just lost the woman she loved and them they didn't just lose a bandmate they lost a friend.
Morgan: I.
Mark: Veracity is dead because of you and Ava. I hope you can live with that.
Morgan: Mark!
Mark: Before you even bring it up. Last night was a mistake. Jay get him out of my sight.

(He walks forward and turns him around as he's hand cuffing him Atwater's reading him his rights as Mark turns and walks over to the window and looks out of it as Kate

walks up to Morgan.)

Kate: I really do hope you and the Jerome's are happy about what you did.
Morgan: I.
Kate: My sister is dead because of you. My family hadn't lost enough. You three just had to go and make it worse and not to mention to do it to someone who had nothing

to do with your father's line of work.
Morgan: I.
Kate: Veracity might of been adopted but she was still my sister.

(Jay and Atwater look at her and feel bad for her as they walk him out of the Penthouse as Mark's looking out of the window still. As Kara walks up to him.)

Kara: Hey.

(He turns and looks at her.)

Mark: Hi.
Kara: You really liked him.
Mark: I did. And i was even thinking about happened between us last night and having it turn into something.
Kara: His loss. I mean he's the reason you lost Veracity.
Mark: He is.
Kara: Okay. Just don't let him helping both Ava and Julian kill Veracity keep you from moving on with your life.
Mark: I won't.
Kara: Okay.

(She smiles at him as she walks over to Kate. As he's standing there he looks out at the city again thinking about the two women he lost and knows he'll never get to

tell Veracity how he still feels about her.)

Three hours later.

(Over at Mark's Penthouse everyone is there getting ready to watch Ares and Reagan get married as their all ready for Reagan to walk down the aisle Mark's up there

standing behind Ares whose looking nervous.)

Mark: Will you relax.
Ares: I'm trying.
Mark: Try a little harder will ya.

(She laughs at him as they start up the wedding march and they all look down the aisle at Reagan whose standing there with Oliver.)

Ares: Oh wow.
Mark: Yeah.

(She laughs at him. As she's walking towards them Mark looks around the room at their friends and family and smiles at them as Reagan reaches them and J'onn askes who

gives Reagan to Ares.)

Oliver: I do.
Mark: No he doesn't.
Oliver: Don't make me hit you.
Mark: Oh boy.

(They start laughing as they get up to J'onn who starts up the ceremony through out the ceremony both Ares and Reagan exchange vows and rings once they've exchanged

both their vows and Rings he got to the I Do's.)

J'onn: Reagan Queen do you take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife to have and to hold in sickness and in health for richer or Poorer all the days of your life.
Michael: Don't it.
Chase: It'll ruin your life.

(Michael starts laughing at his wife's face.)

Willow: Thanks for that Chase.
Chase: I'm sorry it was there.
Reagan: I do.
J'onn: Okay Ares.
Ares: Yes.

(They start laughing than calm down.)

J'onn: Do you take Reagan here to be your lawful wedded wife to have and to hold in sickness and in health for richer or Poorer all the days of your life.
Sonny: Don't do it.
Jason: It'll ruin Santino's life.

(They start laughing at his face as he looks off.)

Ares: Oh shut up you two. I do.
J'onn: Okay. Now by the powers invested in me and the state of Illinois i now pronounce you wife and wife Ares you may now kiss the bride.
Ares: Finally.

(Reagan laughs at her as she kisses her as their kissing everyone starts clapping for them then they pull away from each other.)

J'onn: Whose last name you taking?
Ares: Her's.

(Reagan looks at her and smiles at her.)

J'onn: Okay. Ladies and gentlemen may i be the first to introduce to you Mrs. and Mrs. Reagan Queen.

(They all stand up and start clapping for them as they walk back down the aisle as newly weds as they walk down the aisle Mark walks over to Brett and she wraps her

arm around his and they walk back down the aisle along with Marco and Damien who were also standing up there with Ares. As both Ares and Reagan walk off towards the

elevator to go over to the Hold up for their wedding reception.

(Later over at the Hold up all of Ares and Reagan's guests are there waiting for them to arrive as their all their waiting Mark walks up to the Bellas who are just

finishing up a song as they see Mark seeing Beca kneels down and he tells her in her ear and she nods her head at him. As she turns and looks at the other's.)

Beca: Reagan and Ares are here.
Aubrey: Okay.

(As they get to where the entrance of the club is they stand there as Aubrey introduces them as they walk in everyone turns and looks at them as they start clapping

for them again making them laugh at them. As they walk in they head over to the dance floor and start dancing to the next song the Bellas are performing. As their

performing oddly enough the song their doing is from Steps called Story of a heart which make's Mark laugh at them but he smiles at his friends who are dancing to it.

As the song ends. Mark walks over to Reagan and hugs her getting her to smile at him as he pulls away from her.)

Reagan: You are right?
Mark: I'm are are right as i can be. But i do love the choice of song.
Reagan: Yeah. We figured you'd like that. Given how close you are to the group.
Mark: Not as close as some people might think.
Reagan: True.
Mark: Anyway. Yeah that was one hell of a song to use.
Reagan: I'm surprised they agreed to it.
Mark: Yeah well the Bellas will surprise you.

(She looks at him and nods her head at him as she can see the pain still in Mark's eyes from losing both Adele and Veracity but is trying very hard not to let it

show.)

Reagan: Mark!

(He looks at her.)

Mark: It's your wedding day Reagan i don't worry you and Ares.
Reagan: Yeah well i am worried.
Mark: I'm fine.
Reagan: Okay.

(He nods his head at her as he looks around and walks over to his friends as he gets to them he starts talking and joking around with them as their joking around

Reagan walks over to her wife. Over by Mark as their talking Kate and Kara walk over to them and join in the conversation. As they continue to talk Mark tells them a

story that gets Kara to look at him and give him the finger and it makes them laugh at him.)

Kara: I never said that.
Mark: Yes she did.

(They continue to laugh at her face.)

Kara: I didn't.
Mark: Really? Hey Barry.

(He turns and looks at him.)

Mark: Hey Barry come here a minute.

(He walks away from Iris and Nora and over to Mark as he gets to him.)

Mark: You remember when you guys first met Kate right?
Barry: Yes. Why?
Mark: You remember what Kara said as she walked away from the railing.
Barry: She can be the rain on my parade.

(Mark and the other's start laughing at her face.)

Kara: Oh my god. You guys suck.
Mark: Yeah that's not the only thing Kara sucked.

(She looks at him as Kate's trying to keep laughing.)

Michael: Oh my god.
Mark: Yeah Kate was saying that a lot that night.

(Kate looks at him as Barry walks off laughing at her face.)

Kate: Shut up.
Chase: I'm sure Mark Alex could be saying the samething.
Alex: Leave me out of my sister's sex life. Although.
Kara: Hey hey. She's mine go find your own girlfriend.
Alex: I would but she's hiding behind me.

(Maggie looks at her.)

Chase: How can you see her.
Mark: Oh.
Chase: What?
Mark: She might be tiny. But she can still kick your ass.
Sasha: Or kick him in the nuts.

(Mark and Michael start laughing at his face. As he looks at her.)

Chase: Oh you guys are messed up.
Mark: Not as messed up as Kate's suit was.

(Kate looks at him and then looks off.)

Kate: I swear i'm going to kill Luke.

(They continue to laugh at them as Mark hugs her getting her to laugh at him then he pulls away from her.)

Kara: You good?
Mark: Yeah i'm fine. Just glad Ares and Reagan finally got to their i do's.
Kara: Yeah.
Mark: I mean i know the way the day started wasn't the way they wanted but hey.
Michael: At least you finally got the third person involved in the accident.
Mark: Yeah. I just wish that person hadn't of been your brother.
Michael: You and me both.

(Mark nods his head at him as he looks over at the stage.)

Mark: Hey Sasha join me for a dance.
Sasha: Yeah.

(He grabs her hand and they walk off towards the dance floor as they get there they start dancing which makes the Bellas smile at them as they continue on with the

song their doing over by Ares and Reagan their watching Mark with Sasha and laugh at him.)

Ares: He seems to be doing okay.
Reagan: Yeah he is.
Ares: You're still worried about him?
Reagan: Can you blame me. He seemed to be doing so much better but then.
Ares: You do realize he's been trying to make today about us and not about him. He's trying to keep up his cheerfulness.
Reagan: Another words.
Ares: Stop worrying about him and how he's doing and enjoy the rest of our wedding.

(She grabs her and kisses her getting her to laugh in it then she pulls away from her as Reagan smiles at her.)

Reagan: Okay.
Ares: Okay.

(She kisses her again then pulls away from her as Mark and Sasha walk off of the dance floor talking and joking around as they walk back over to their friends as they

get to them Mark grabs Michael and pretends to beat on him which makes both Willow and Chase laugh at them along with Sasha as he's goofing around with his friends

Calamity and the other members laugh at him as he looks over at them and waves at them getting them to smile at him as he walks away from and over to them as he gets

to them he grabs Calamity from behind and hugs her getting her to laugh as he pulls away from her. Through out the night Mark talks and jokes around with his friends

and pulls pranks on the brides with the help of Michael and Chase. With every prank they pull Ares threatens to get him but he hugs her getting her to laugh at him as

he spends time with.)

Mark: Hey got a question for ya.
Reagan: What?
Mark: How you two feel about being married so far?
Reagan: Really good. Minus the pranks.
Mark: Yeah sorry.
Reagan: No it's fine. Anyway. I know i promised Ares i'd enjoy the wedding more but.
Mark: I'm good. Really i am. It's almost like knowing that we got em all of the streets it's like this big weight was lifted off of my shoulders.
Reagan: Okay good.
Mark: To be honest Reagan your's and Ares wedding is doing a lot to make me feel better.
Reagan: Why's that?
Mark: I'm among your guest who are a lot of our friends from time in Santino's Crew.
Reagan: Yeah. I honestly didn't think anyone of them would show up. Most of all Wick over there.

(Mark turns and looks at him.)

Mark: Yeah was talking to Jason and he said Helen made him come.
Reagan: Oh wow.
Mark: Yeah apparently Wedding's aren't his thing.
Reagan: Are they your's?
Mark: Yes they are.
Reagan: Okay than.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: I'm happy for you and Ares Reagan i really am.
Reagan: I know you are. You haven't really showed any sign of not being happy for us.
Mark: No i haven't. Anyway.

(She laughs at him as he continues to talk and joke around with them he walks over to the stage and walks up onto it as he gets up there he grabs the mic and tells

Jokes getting everyone to laugh at him.)

Michael: Oh my god.
Chase: You don't realize how funny someone is until they tell Jokes about the Queen Siblings.

(They start laughing as Mark tells his speech and then walks off of the stage laughing as he walks over to them. Over by Ares and Reagan she's still laughing at her

wife's face.)

Reagan: Babe shut up it's not funny.
Kate: I thought so.
Reagan: Of course you thought it was funny. It wasn't pointed right at you.
Kate: Hey I've a lot of things pointed right at me. It's just not all fun.
Kara: Oh my god Kate.
Kate: I'm sorry i had too. It was funny.

(Then Mark walks over to them and up to Reagan.)

Mark: Hey.
Reagan: Hey.
Mark: Ares can i borrow your wife for a minute?
Ares: Only if i get her back.
Mark: I promise you she'll be back by your side.
Ares: Okay.
Mark: Are right.

(He grabs Reagan's hand and they walk out onto the dance floor and start dancing to the song the Bellas are singing as they continue to dance they start talking and

joking around as Ares watches her wife and bestfriend spending time together as the song continues and ends they both walk back over to Ares and the other's.)

Reagan: Is that song from one of their albums?
Mark: Yeah. It was from the one two years ago.
Reagan: Oh wow.
Mark: Yeah. Whenever they went out on tour that year they had Evermoist as their band.
Kate: Nothing like having their girlfriends playing behind them.
Mark: Yeah no kidding.

(They start laughing then calm down as he looks over Evermoist and then back at them. As they continue on with their conversations the Bellas take some time after

singing their last song and go to spend time with the Evermoist members as they get to them Beca kisses her girlfriends cheek getting her to turn and look at her.)

Calamity: Hey.
Beca: Hey.
Charity: I don't know about you two. But they keep getting better. I'm starting to feel a little jealous.

(They start laughing then calm down as Calamity kisses Beca's head then pulls away from it as she hangs onto her.)

Emily: You trying to say we're still better then Evermoist.

(Charity looks at her and then looks off as they laugh again.)

Charity: Okay i change my mind. Serenity i hate your girlfriend.
Serenity: Why?
Charity: She hurt my feelings.
Cynthia: Awe poor baby.

(She kisses her getting her to laugh in it then she pulls away from her.)

Charity: Okay i feel better.
Calamity: And here you said i was whipped.

(She sticks her tongue out at her making them laugh at her.)

Beca: Anyway.

(They continue to laugh and joke around with them. As the night continues Ares and Reagan make their way around the club talking and joking around with their guest as

they go back and forth between their guest they look over at their friends talking and messing around and they laugh at them as Mark and Chase throw poppers behind his

friends and he runs off.)

Casey: Mark!

(They run off with him and Severide right behind them as they run off Mark runs up to Kate and puts her over his shoulder and runs off with her on his shoulder.)

Mark: My Batwoman.

(Mary and Mia turn and look at them then start laughing. As they continue to run around with Kate over Mark's shoulder he runs back in and puts her back down next to

Kara whose laughing at them as Severide walks up to him and pretends to beat on him then they calm down as Mark puts Seager over his shoulder and runs off with her

which makes everyone laugh at him.)

Mark: My Seager.

(Severide looks at Casey and Dawson who are laughing at him.)

Severide: Mark Buchanan get back here with my fiance.
Mark: No.

(He keeps running around the club with her on his shoulder as he finally brings her back and sits her down again which gets her to laugh at him as Mark realizes what

Severide said.)

Mark: Fiance?
Severide: Yeah.
Mark: Well shit. Dude congrats.
Severide: Thank you.
Mark: You're welcome. And i'm sorry.

(He looks at him as she starts laughing. As Serenity walks up to her sister and hugs her.)

Serenity: Congrats wen.
Wendy: Thank you.

(She laughs at her as they continue to talk and joke around as Mark looks over at Ares and Reagan and waves at them making them laugh then he gets back to his

conversation. A couple of hours later Mark looks over at the Bellas and walks over to them.)

Mark: Hey.
Beca: Hey.
Mark: I have an idea.

(They all look at him.)

Beca: We're listening.
Mark: You know that song you guys have been wanting to perform the longest time well since.
Beca: Yeah.
Mark: Why not perform it here.

(They look at him and look around the room.)

Stacie: You think?
Mark: Why not. There's people here and i'm sure Ares and Reagan won't mind.
Beca: There's a thought. Babe what you think?
Calamity: I think it's up to you guys.
Beca: Yeah i know. But i'm asking for your opinion.

(She looks at her and laughs.)

Calamity: I think if you guys wanna perform it it's really good song and i'd be really upset if you didn't.

(Beca laughs at her as she kisses her then pulls away from her.)

Beca: You're cute when you pout.
Calamity: I'm not pouting.

(She smiles at her as she kisses her then pulls away from her.)

(She kisses her again then pulls away from her as she walks away from her along with the other Bellas.)

(They get up and walk over towards the stage as the Bellas walk up onto it as they get up there Mark watches them and smiles at them. Up on the stage the Bellas are

getting ready to perform the song Mark asked them to sing. Over by Lucas he walks up to his sister and Brother in law to watch the Bellas sing. up on the stage the

Bellas are getting ready to perform the song they wrote for three out of the ten members girlfriends once their all ready Beca talks to everyone there.)

Beca: Hey everyone. I just wanted to say one last time tonight a big congrats to Ares and Reagan for taking one of the biggest steps in any relationship and wish them

nothing but the best in the years to come for them.

(They both look at her and nod their heads at her.)

Aubrey: Yeah because that next step is so hard. (Coughs) Calamity.

(They start laughing at her face.)

Calamity: Hey.
Beca: Yeah babe so rude.
Calamity: Look here you.

(She walks up to her and kisses her getting her to smile at her then she pulls away from her.)

Beca: You know i love you.
Calamity: I know.
Beca: Oh good i was scared there for a minute.

(She laughs at her as she walks off and over to her bandmates who are laughing at her.)

Serenity: You're gonna ask her aren't you?
Calamity: Yup.

(They both clap hands with her making her laugh. At them as they finish getting once their ready Beca waves Evermoist up onto the stage and they walk up onto it once

their on there Calamity and Serenity grab up their guitars and look at each other as Charity seats down at the drums once she's seated they all look at each other and

know someones missing but can't help that fact. Over by Reagan she looks at her wife who nods her head at her and walks up onto the stage and over to them.)

Reagan: Calamity!

(She looks at her and takes her guitar off and puts it down as she walks over to her.)

Calamity: Yeah.
Reagan: I know i'm not Veracity but if you three would like i'd be more than happy to play in her place.

(They look at her and smile at her.)

Serenity: To be fair Cal i don't think Vera would trust anyone else with her guitar other then Reagan.

(Calamity looks at her and nods her head at her.)

Calamity: Just be careful with it.
Reagan: I promise.

(She nods her head at her as Mark walks up onto the stage and helps Reagan with Veracity's guitar. Once it's around her shoulder's he looks at her.)

(She looks at him and smiles.)

Reagan: I sure hope so.
Mark: Okay.

(He helps her finish getting the guitar ready once it's all set up he looks up at her and then walks off of the stage as he walks off Reagan looks at the other three

members and smiles at them which gets them to do the samething as they wait for the Bellas.)

Serenity: All good on mine and Calamity's end.
Aubrey: Charity!
Charity: All set.
Beca: Reagan!

(She looks at her and nods her head at her.)

(They nod their heads at her Beca continues to introduce the song once she's finished they start snapping their fingers as Lily starts the song off with beat then is

followed by the band with their instruments.)

(She looks at him and smiles at him as she takes the guitar off and with help from Serenity puts it back onto the stand as she hugs her friend who smiles in it then

she pulls away from him.)

Reagan: I miss her Mark more than anyone knows.

(She smiles at him as her wife walks up onto the stage and she walks over to as she gets to her she hugs her.)

Ares: She'd be so proud of you baby.
Reagan: Yeah i know that.
Ares: Okay come on.

(They walk off of the stage as Mark looks at the other members of the band who get upset but quickly get brought into a hug by their girlfriends which makes them smile

at them. Over by Lucas he can see the look on Mark's face and feels bad for him as he walks off of the stage and sees him head over to the bar as he gets there he

orders a lime and soda as he walks up to him.)

Lucas: Hey.

(He turns and looks at him.)

Mark: Hey.
Lucas: I'd ask if you're okay. But.
Mark: I'm not. And i haven't been all night.

(He looks at confused.)

Lucas: Really?
Mark: Dude I've been putting up a front and trying my hardest not to lose it in front of everyone.

(He nods his head at him. Then the bartender hands Mark his drink and he pays for it as Lucas looks at him.)

Mark: It's a lime and soda. Just because i'm feeling like crap doesn't mean i'm jumping off of the wagon.
Lucas: Good to know. Hey look i know this is a little forward but.
Mark: God yes please.

(He laughs at him as he downs his drink and turns to leave the club. As they walk out Ares and Reagan start laughing as Jacob walks up to them.)

Jacob: Time to get to your honeymoon.
Reagan: Yes.

(They both walk out of the club towards their awaiting limo as they get outside they see Mark standing next to it.)

Reagan: What?

Reagan: You're standing here i'm scared.
Mark: Don't be.

(He opens the door and they both get into it as they get in he closes the door and walks towards the cab of the limo and he knocks on the window. After knocking on it

the window rolls down and Mark looks inside of it and laughs.)

Mark: Nice timing Deeds.
Sonny: I do try.
Mark: Take them back to my building. Their gonna be using the penthouse for their honeymoon.
Sonny: Are right.

(Mark backs up as he rolls the window up and puts the car into drive and drives them off towards Mark's building as they pull off Mark smiles at them and then looks

over at Lucas whose standing off on his own as he gets to him he laughs at him.)

Lucas: A friend of your's?
Mark: Yeah. He's a friend of Reagan's favorite YouTuber.
Lucas: Oh no shit.
Mark: Yeah. Hey look thanks for coming on such short notice i know you and Brad are.
Lucas: We're not together.
Mark: Oh i thought.
Lucas: I couldn't look past him helping Nelle keep Wiley away from Michael.
Mark: Yeah that wasn't really called for.
Lucas: No it wasn't.
Mark: Anyway. Lucas tonight i just want a friend. Last time i slept with someone it turned out he was more involved in Veracity's death then he was willing to let on.
Lucas: Yeah okay. If it's just a friend you want tonight i'll be more than happy to be the friend you want.
Mark: Are right. Come on.

(They both turn and walk off down the street to go back to Mark's place to talk and get to know each other as friends and maybe someday become something more if that's

what either one of them wants. Back over in the limo both Reagan and Ares are talking and joking around as they continue on their way to Mark's building to spend the

night up in his penthouse as their on their way they look at each other and smile as they still can't believe their married and headed out on the honeymoon are also

thinking about what the future holds for them.

Chapter Text

Two years later.

(It's been two years since Ares and Reagan got married and settled down in Gotham shortly after they got married Mark offered them the penthouse but they both turned

him down and he laughed at them as he nodded his head at them as he said okay and then walked away from them. In between the happy ending for Ares and Reagan they did

have one sad day in their lives and that was the day they lost Veracity and to this day Mark her bandmates and her family continue to grieve over losing her it doesn't

make matters any better for Mark knowing that he had lost Adele just a week after they lost Veracity. In between those losses and a one night stand with one other

person who was behind Veracity's death and the rest of bandmates accident before she died. After learning who was also behind her death Morgan's family felt really

upset by what he once again did for the Jerome's and couldn't believe he would actually do it. And for the first time in a while he had no excuse for why he did it but

he did have an apology for her family and friends and told them he wished he hadn't of agreed to help them again. Shortly after Morgan was arrested and tried for his

part in Veracity's death he was sentenced ten years in prison with the possibly of parole with good behavior after Morgan's trial and both Reagan and Ares returning

from their honeymoon shortly after Mark distanced himself from his friends. But not for long not long after the trial The Bellas and Evermoist got to go back out on to

tour to open and to play for Steps on their latest tour while out on the tour at the final show Calamity took the next step in her's and Beca's relationship and asked

her to marry her at the final show after months of planning the wedding they both decided to get to married in front of a justice of the peace. In between engagements

and weddings not to mention tours. Mark found himself growing closer and closer to Michael's uncle and with a lot of push and picking at him he finally asked him and

out he accepted all of that is leading up to two years later it's the year twenty-three after about year of marriage both Ares and Reagan decieded to add to their

family and started to try and have a baby after about a two or three month wait Reagan found out she was pregnant and after nine months she gave birth to a little girl

who they named after two people they all miss very much they named her after both Veracity and Adele. So her full name is Veracity Adele Queen. Over at Mark's record

label he's in his office as someone knocks on the door he looks up when he hears it open and smiles at who it is.)

Mark: Hey.
Reagan: Hey. I brought someone here to see you.
Mark: Who?

(She walks into the office with a two year old as he sees her he stands up and walks over to them.)

Mark: Hey here she is.

(As he gets to them Reagan hands her over to him and he holds her.)

Mark: What brings you two by?
Reagan: Ares is still on a mission for Santino and well.
Mark: Awe. Your mommy got bored didn't she?

(She laughs at him.)

Mark: Yeah.

(He kisses her head then pulls away from it as he looks at Reagan as he walks over to the couch and sits down. As she's there visiting with him Mark picks at the baby

which makes Reagan laugh at him. As their there spending time together Mark and Reagan talk and joke around that is until Calamity walks into the office and sees Mark

with the baby and smiles at him.)

Calamity: It's amazing how good he is with her.
Reagan: I know right.
Mark: I've dealt with babies before she's no different.
Reagan: True.
Mark: She's just so cute. If it wasn't for the fact that her and Beca had just gotten married.
Calamity: Yeah let's give me and Beca a year or two before we even talk about kids.
Mark: Yeah okay. How's the album coming?
Calamity: Really good. I mean in between the tour two years ago to the new albums due out next year it's very hard to think.
Mark: I know that feeling all to well.
Calamity: Yeah.
Mark: Yeah. I mean trying to figure out what song to release or what song to write is not as easy as some artist think it is.
Calamity: Yeah as we're all learning very quickly. I mean that song you wrote two years ago helped us out a lot. Mainly me and Beca.

(He looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Yeah. And all i did was talk to Winn about my writers block.
Calamity: You're an amazing friend Mark i hope you know that.
Mark: I do and thank you for saying so. I mean Lucas tells me all the time that i'm a great friend but i never seem to believe him.
Reagan: How are things going with you two?

(Mark looks at her and smiles.)

Mark: Good. Actually really good.

(She laughs at him along with Calamity.)

Mark: I honestly didn't think i'd ever be this happy again. Not after losing Veracity or Adele.
Reagan: Yeah we know.

(He kisses his niece head again then pulls away from it as Lucas walks into the office hearing the door open Mark turns and looks at it then smiles when he sees him.)

Mark: Hey.
Lucas: Hey.

(He walks into the office and closes the door as he closes it he walks over to Mark and kisses him then pulls away from him as he looks down at Veracity's namesake.)

Lucas: How you doing cutie.

(She smiles at him as Mark hands her up to him once he has her he holds her and she plays with his face which makes them laugh Mark seeing how good he is with her

stands up and walks around him as he gets her in the side making her laugh he looks at his boyfriend and smiles at him as he kisses her head then pulls away from it as

he looks at him.)

Reagan: We'll go so you two can talk or do whatever it is you do?
Mark: We're not at that stage in the relationship yet.
Reagan: No but i have a feeling by the way you're looking at him you want to be.
Mark: Take your child and get out of my office you smart ass.

(She starts laughing as she grabs her daughter back from Lucas and both her and Calamity walk out of his office as they walk out Mark turns and looks at him.)

Lucas: She right about what she said?

(Mark turns and looks at him.)

Mark: Yeah. But i don't want to rush either one of us.
Lucas: It's not rushing if it's something you want.
Mark: Yeah but taking what's going on between us shouldn't it be what we both want.
Lucas: Who said i didn't want it.

(Mark looks at him and laughs as he walks over to his door and locks it as Lucas walks over to him as he gets to him Mark kisses him getting him to smile in it as

their kiss continues they both fall back onto his couch as they land on it Mark smiles in it then he pulls away from him as he looks down at him.)

Mark: I've been wanting to do this.
Lucas: Well than i think it's about time we do something then.
Mark: I couldn't agree more.

(He leans in and kisses him again as their kissing Mark's phone goes off getting them to pull away from each other.)

Mark: I'm sorry.
Lucas: No it's fine.

(Mark grabs his phone out to see who it is seeing the number he gets annoyed but answers it.)

Mark: Seriously?
Luke: What?
Mark: Why is it whenever i'm doing something you're always calling. And don't say that you aren't because you've done the samething with Kate.

(He puts his head down and knows Mark's annoyed.)

Luke: Okay so i do call you. But that's only because you need to come down to Kane Tower.
Mark: What? Why?
Luke: It's better if you see this person for yourself.
Mark: Okay fine.
Luke: I'm sorry if i'm interrupting something but i also just did the samething with Kate and believe she wants to kill me.
Mark: So if you are ready called Kate why'd you call me?
Luke: Because he won't leave until he sees you.
Mark: Who is it?
Luke: He told me not to tell you.
Mark: Luke if you want me to go down there find out.
Luke: I've tried.

(Then Luke's phone gets taken away from him and he turns to see who it is.)

Kate: Mark just do it or you'll never get him off of the phone.
Mark: So there's no one there wanting to see me?
Kate: Yes there and Kara's been trying to get him to tell her who he is but he's not budging.
Mark: Fine.

(Then he hangs up with her and looks over at Lucas who stands up to look at him.)

Mark: I gotta get down to Kate's building.
Lucas: Why?
Mark: Because apparently there is someone there wanting to see me and he won't tell them who he is.
Lucas: Want me to go with you?
Mark: Yeah.

(He walks over to his desk and grabs up his coat once he has it he they both walk out of the office and head off towards Kane Tower as their walking out he calls Ares

who has just gotten back into Gotham and heads off towards Kate's building. After hanging up with her he sends Sophie a text and then sends it once it's sent they

continue on their way. Later over at Kate's building Mark walks up to her.)

Mark: Kate!

(She turns and looks at him.)

Kate: Hey.
Mark: Hey. What the hell is going on?
Kate: Luke's got someone up in my office asking who he is but he won't say anything.
Mark: He hasn't said anything?
Kate: Yeah.
Lucas: He could be like Ares was.
Mark: A mute.

(He nods his head at him.)

Lucas: How old is he?
Kate: He's not someone old enough to be traveling on his own that's for sure.
Mark: He's a kid?
Kate: Yeah.
Lucas: So why Luke say he won't go anywhere without seeing Mark?
Kate: Luke said he had this.

(She hands Mark what looks like a birth certificate as Mark looks it over and sees the name on it.)

Mark: He thinks i'm his father.

(She looks at him and nods her head at him.)

Mark: I just. I don't get it. Whose his mother.
Kate: He's Veracity's.

(Mark looks at her and then down at the birth certificate again and sees the name on it. As he sees it he leans against the reception desk as she looks up at him.)

Mark: I'm are right Sabrina.

(She nods her head at him as she gets back to work.)

Mark: Veracity Kane!
Lucas: I thought you two only had one date?
Mark: That's what we told everyone.
Lucas: Okay i'm confused.
Mark: We dated for about a year.
Kate: And you two never told anyone?
Mark: We told Calamity and the other members of the band that even includes the Bellas.
Kate: But no one else?
Mark: No. We thought if we kept it secret it wouldn't bring Austin in to look for her and it worked.
Kate: When did you two break up?
Mark: About a month or two before the USO tour.

(She looks at him and then looks off.)

Kate: Would Austin have any idea about?
Mark: Not if she kept him hidden.

(She looks off and then takes him up to her office. In the elevator Lucas is looking at the birth certificate Kate handed Mark and thinks back to when he had a paitent

come into the hospital to see him and remembers who it was and realize's that same woman is Veracity and he looks at Mark.)

Lucas: That's why she looked so familiar.

(Both Mark and Kate look at him.)

Mark: Who?
Lucas: Veracity!

(Mark looks at him again and then to his bestfriend.)

Kate: What about my sister?
Lucas: Mark you remember that woman i told you and Brad about?
Mark: The one who walked up to you and asked if you had time to talk.
Lucas: Yeah.
Mark: I remember her. Why?
Lucas: You said you and Veracity dated for a year and broke up just before the USO tour right?
Mark: Yeah.
Lucas: When?
Mark: I don't know. Maybe a month why?
Lucas: Because if i remember right.
Mark: What?
Lucas: Mark she was the woman i talked to that day.

(Mark looks at him and then to Kate.)

Mark: Why she would she of been in Port Charles?
Lucas: I don't know. She didn't even really give me her name. She just wanted some information on what to do in order to protect herself.

(He looks at him and then to Kate again as the doors to the elevator opens and they all walk out of it.)

Mark: You didn't run any tests.
Lucas: She did. Which is when she found out that she was Pregnant. I had Brad run the test.
Mark: He didn't tell anyone?
Lucas: No.
Kate: Anyone come looking for her?
Lucas: One guy. I'm guessing it was Austin because she quickly hed behind our nurses station.

(Mark looks at him and then looks off again.)

Lucas: Me and Brad would of said something. But.
Mark: No no. It's fine. You two were trying to keep her safe and i get that.

(He kisses him then pulls away from him.)

Mark: Thank you.

(He looks at him and smiles at him.)

Lucas: You're welcome.

(They walk off towards Kate's office as they get there Luke and Kara look up at them.)

Mark: Hey.
Luke: Hey. I was going to tell you but.
Mark: No no. It's fine. Where is he?

(Kara turns around in Kate's chair with a little boy in her lap. Mark seeing him nearly falls over as she gets up with him in her arms he looks at Mark.)

Luke: Given the year he was born we're thinking he's around four years old.
Mark: Okay. Hey buddy.

(As of knowing who it he is he puts his arms out for Mark to grab him from Kara and holds him as he's got his son in his arms he looks at his friends and kisses his

head then pulls away from it as he looks at them again.)

Mark: Babe just to be on the safe side.
Lucas: You want DNA test?
Mark: Yeah i don't want that bastard to come in and clam that he's his.
Lucas: Okay. I'll need a sample from you and him.
Mark: Okay.

(Kate looks at the birth certificate and then looks up at Mark.)

Kate: Mark!
Mark: Yeah.
Kate: Look at his name.

(He looks at her and hands the little boy to Lucas who happily takes him and he holds him as Mark looks at the name and nearly loses it.)

Kara: What?
Kate: His name is Victor Stephen Kane.

(She looks at her and feels bad for Mark.)

Lucas: Those names mean something to him?
Mark: Victor was my uncle he was killed and Stephen was Stephen Gately.

(He looks at him and then looks at Kate and Kara who nod their heads at him.)

Lucas: Oh god.
Kate: She gave him the names of two men who mean't everything to Mark.
Lucas: That a good thing or a bad thing.
Kate: Victor Lord Jr. Might of been an ass but Mark still loved him and well Stephen Gately he was one of Mark's bestfriends and one of the friends he kept putting off

going to see until it was too late. I mean he went to their shows before he died. But Mark still regrets not spending time with him.

(He nods his head at her as Victor turns and looks at Mark Lucas walks him over to his father and Mark takes him from him and hangs onto him as he looks at him and

leans into him which gets Mark to smile at him. As he's holding him Calamity walks into Kate's office followed by Beca Reagan and Ares.)

Calamity: Hey.

(They look over at her and laugh.)

Mark: Hey.
Calamity: Is that?
Mark: Yeah.

(She walks over to them and kneels down next to Mark and smiles at him as Victor looks over at Calamity and smiles at her.)

Calamity: We would of told you but. She made us promise not to.
Mark: No i can understand that.

(He kisses his head then pulls away from it.)

Kate: Why didn't she want Mark to know?
Calamity: It's not like she didn't want to tell him.
Kate: Austin!
Calamity: Austin!

(She looks off annoyed. As Mark kisses his head again then pulls away from it.)

Mark: Just to be on the safe side.
Calamity: No i think she'd understand.

(Mark nods his head at her. As their sitting there spending time with him Lucas walks back in and heads over to them to get a mouth swap from Victor once he has it he

gets one from Mark and kisses him then pulls away from him as Victor boops his nose making them laugh at him.)

Calamity: I think he likes your boyfriend.
Mark: Why not. I do.

(She laughs at him.)

Lucas: You guys got anywhere we can run this test without anyone knowing until they come in.
Mark: We can over to Crow. We know your dad will keep it quiet.
Kate: Yeah he will come on.

(They all walk out off her office. Later over at Crow Head Quarters in their command center Mark's sitting at the table talking and joking around with Julia and Sophie

as Reagan walks in and over to him.)

Mark: Hey. How's Veracity?
Reagan: She's okay. Ares has her.
Mark: Sounds about right.
Reagan: She's going to be one of those mother's who doesn't let her child out of her sight.

(Mark looks at her and laughs.)

Mark: Sounds about right. Right.

(He looks up at him and smiles.)

Sophie: He doesn't?
Mark: No. Lucas thinks he might just like Ares was.
Sophie: A mute.
Mark: Yeah. I just hope whoever had him didn't make him like this.
Sophie: Yeah. How's Lucas doing with this?
Mark: Well he seems to be okay. But than again he had to give up his rights as a father to Michael when the truth about Wiley came out.
Sophie: But Wiley is still in the family.
Mark: He is. Michael was talking about how he was going to be going through this change. From cool uncle to father in a matter of minutes of the truth coming out.
Sophie: And if he does come back as your's?
Mark: I'll be the damn best father i can be. Even if his mother isn't with us anymore.

(She nods her head at him.)

Julia: What's his name?
Mark: Victor Stephen Kane. Or once the DNA test come in it'll be Buchanan Kane.
Sophie: So you're gonna keep Veracity's last name with him.
Mark: Yeah. I mean she was his mother and Kane was her last name.
Sophie: Yeah i know.
Julia: It's just most people would.
Mark: Yeah well thankfully for him and his mother i'm not most people i want him to remember who his mother was.
Julia: The smart ass Evermoist member.
Mark: No that title goes to Beca's wife.

(Beca looks at him and smiles as she walks in followed by Charity and Serenity who see him and walk over to them.)

Mark: Hey.
Charity: Hey. Wow. I still can't believe it.
Mark: I know.
Serenity: We're sorry we never told you.
Mark: No hey. It's kind of hard to be mad at her given who she dated before me.
Serenity: Yeah. And he tried a number of a times after you two broke up too.
Mark: Did he now.
Serenity: Yeah. But than she was seeing someone else and not Reagan and Oliver's sister.
Mark: I swear if you say it was one of the Bellas i might freak out a little.

(They start laughing then calm down.)

Serenity: No it wasn't one of the Bellas.
Mark: Well than who?
Charity: You know very well.
Mark: Don't say it.
Charity: Okay i won't.
Mark: Okay know what it's gonna bug me.
Charity: She was dating Marco.

(Mark looks at and then back at him as he looks up at the ceiling which makes them laugh.)

Mark: Your mother has taste.

(He looks at him as he looks off trying to keep from laughing.)

Mark: Reagan i think i made him blush.
Reagan: I can see that. But than again. According to Ares it's not very hard to make him blush.
Mark: Yeah kind of like Calamity over here.

(She looks at him as Beca walks off laughing at her face.)

Calamity: I don't blush.
Mark: Right of course. Kind of like she doesn't pout.
Calamity: I don't
Mark: Oh Cal you're very much like Kate you pout.
Kate: I do not.
Mark: Your aunts full of it.

(He looks at him and laughs which gets them laughing as Kate smacks him in the head getting him to laugh at her then they calm down as Jacob walks down and over to

them.)

Mark: Family reunion.

(Kate looks over at him and laughs.)

Kate: Yeah.

(As he reaches them he kneels down in front of him and Mark hands him over to him and Jacob takes him from him and holds him as they wait for the test results to come

back to see if Mark really is the father of Victor. A couple of hours later Mary and Lucas walk into Center command and over to everyone.)

Mary: Hey.

(They all look over at her.)

Mark: Hey.
Lucas: We got the test results.
Mark: Okay.
Jacob: And?
Mary: Congrats Mark you're a father.

(Mark looks at her and laughs as Jacob hands him back over to Mark who holds him and kisses his head then pulls away from it as he looks at him. Mary hands the tablet

over to her sister and she looks at it as she's looking at it she smiles at her.)

Kate: He's got something else to help him remember Veracity.
Mary: Yeah.
Kate: In fact we all do.

(She smiles at her as they continue to watch Mark with Victor who looks at him and smiles.)

Mark: He's even got Vera's smile.

(They look at him and smile as he kisses his head again then pulls away from it.)

Kate: Hey.

(He looks at her.)

Mark: I'm are right Kate. I'm just glad he's okay.
Kate: So are we. I still can't believe it.
Mark: I can't either. But I'm just trying to figure out where's he been.
Kate: I don't know. She never mentioned she had a child.
Mark: Maybe for a good reason.
Kate: Yeah.
Mark: I wonder who had been taking care of him the last four years.

(Just then his answer walks into the room followed by Tyler and Adam.)

Tyler: Mark!

(He looks up at him and sees who it is and laughs.)

Mark: She gave him to Dante and Lulu?
Dante: We would of told you.
Mark: No i can completely understand why she didn't. I'm just glad he's here with me.
Lulu: Yeah she told us if anything were to happen to her. We were to hold onto him until.
Mark: She died two years ago.
Lulu: I know that.
Mark: You two weren't ready to give him up yet were you?
Lulu: I wasn't Dante had to talk me into doing it.

(Mark smiles at them as he kisses his head again then pulls away from it.)

Mark: You two ever wanna see him. Let me know and we'll set up time to go and see you.
Dante: That be great.
Mark: Are right. You wanna hold him?

(She nods her head at him as he hands him over to her and she holds him as she's holding him Mark smiles at his friend and can't help but smile knowing his son was in

good hands while they had him and will forever be grateful to them for what they did for Veracity and taking in their son when she needed it most. And even more

grateful to Lucas and Brad for keeping Veracity's pregnancy a secret away from Austin. He looks at him and smiles at him and Lucas catches the look.)

Lucas: What?
Mark: I'm just glad you and Brad kept Veracity's secret and didn't tell anyone.
Lucas: Yeah it was really hard to do that. I mean he didn't even tell Britt and he told her everything.
Mark: Wow.
Lucas: Hell at the time i'm pretty sure he would of kept it secret. She kept so many of them.
Mark: Yeah i know. But seriously thank you.
Lucas: You're welcome.

(He smiles at him as Mark walks over to Lulu and puts bunny ears on Dante's head which gets Victor to laugh and Dante to turn and look at him as Mark puts his hand

down.)

Dante: Dude what the hell?
Mark: Tyler did it.

(He looks at him as they start laughing.)

Lulu: So you and?
Mark: Yeah.
Lulu: Just don't hurt him or your'll have Sam on your case.
Mark: Yeah not just Sam.
Lulu: Yeah i'd be more scared of Carly.
Mark: Yeah.

(She laughs at him as Mark plays with his son whose trying to get away from Lulu and she hands him back to Mark. Who takes him from her and holds him as he's holding

him he looks over at his friends and smiles at them as they all spend time with Victor Reagan looks at him and smiles at him and can't help but very happy for him

given the hell they all went through to get here and knowing that Victor lost his mother at such a young age and knowing that Mark will do anything to help remember

the woman that his mother was makes everyone around him and Victor very happy because it doesn't matter what happens later on down the line. Victor will know just

because he lost one parent he's gained one back it's all thanks to his friends who took him in after Veracity had given birth to him and this is the year Mark got one

hell of a Christmas present even if it is a month early.
