Chapter Text
Hello everyone!! ;u; It's been a MINUTE.
I'm sorry this isn't a new chapter. （；´д｀）ゞ I've been feeling really blocked with this. I know exactly where I wanna go in the story however I got distracted for a while doing other canon stories and some zine projects, etc etc. And then by the time I looked around I realized my writing had improved SO MUCH. This fic was my first ever and I love it with my whole heart but it was a little disheartening to want to write the next chapter when I knew it would stand out compared to the chapters previous.
SO I'm happy to announce that I'm not abandoning this fic or anything! Instead, I'm currently working with my friend and beta reader for all my other stuff to do a complete rework of the previous chapters! It's a ton of work. ^^; As there is a lot to edit however I'm feeling very pleased that we're going through it so thoroughly (you don't want to know how many edits we make on just one chapter alone, ugh).
We're almost done with the first five chapters and then I will post them! I will be remaking the end notes to have the date updated so it's easy to tell what has been edited and what hasn't. I'll also include all the links like this one, as well as a link to my beta reader(s). (Another friend of mine looked it over months ago and I never uploaded their info either so I will correct that this time!)
If you love this story as much as I do (and I know many of you left lovely, lovely comments that still bring me a lot of joy whenever I return to read them over again) I hope you'll enjoy it! Even if you don't want to reread this fic, I hope that you'll start reading the new chapters once I start rolling them out. > w< I just need to edit stuff first so I can come into the fic freshly energized!
I love Carys and I still want to finish her story. 😤 (Then I have another Modern AU idea for her... too many thoughts, not enough time honestly.) I just wanted to give everyone who followed this story a heads-up! Thanks to anyone who has ever read this fic and shown your support. The engagement on this fic really got me pumped and I'm not sure I would have gotten into writing as heavily as I did, let alone been able to pump out over 200k in one year if it wasn't for all the lovely comments and the people who kept coming back with each chapter.
