Master Control
Chapter 54
"What exactly am I looking at here?" The large red skinned humanoid with four arms of muscle scooped up some of the strange noodles that seemed to have pores in them leaking juices. The black tank top with a white line running down the center of his chest with the omnitrix in the center of it.
Sitting on the stools that were on the outside deck of a skyscraper with bridges between them serving as streets, the bustling alien city life was a constant behind them. Kendo, sitting right next to Izuku's transformed state, was wearing a black chrome jacket with neon blue highlights glowing as they ran up and down her sleeves and to her collar. With some basic shorts and some boots that lit up wherever contact was made, she was turning her alien appearance into something more casual. The only noticeable trait of her current body was her glowing pink hair flowing in a ponytail along her head.
Honestly, she looked like one of those digital neon city vaporwave art pieces.
"Not exactly sure." Kendo, with her own bowl in front of her grabbed the strange utensil that looked more like an elongated corkscrew. "But the locals seem to love it."
"Huh." Mirroring her actions, Four Arms began cautiously slurping away at it. Chewing slowly as he rolled the flavors around his mouth. "Is this, a meat?"
"It definitely has protein." Kendo, snacking on the noodles with her own curious look on her face. "But I can't tell if it's plant based or not."
"Uh huh." Picking up one of the noodles, Four Arms inspected it more closely as he tried to decipher the meal's true nature. "So, do we have to pay for this or-"
"It's on the house." A familiar voice approached from the kitchen area, Four Arms' four eyes widening as he recognized their chef.
"Bivalvan! How have you been?"
"Better than before." The humanoid crustacean wiped a dish while releasing some water from his palms to soak it. His eyes narrowed on the symbol of the omnitrix on Four Arms chest. "I heard that threat you were hiding from was taken out. I assume that was you?"
"Wait." Kendo looked between the two. "Izuku, you know this guy?"
"Oh yeah! Bivalvan was one of the first aliens I helped." Four Arms, now a lot comfortable in this strange environment took a hearty scoop of his food to gulp down. "I see you decided to go for the city life instead of the countryside."
"I needed to make some money." The alien shrugged. "There's always places like this that need help, so it's ok just to get started. I'm looking to hear back any day about a shipyard engineering position."
"Good for you." Four Arms genuinely was happy for the alien, glad to see him doing well. "You did have a lot of engineering skills in making repairs with scrap yard parts. What about the others?"
"Ra'ad has been working on that ocean planetworking as an electrical systems supervisor. While Galapagus has been looking over Andreas in a less inhabited planet that lives more off the land than trade. What about P'andor?"
Fighting the urge to spit at the mention of his name, Four Arms only growled out his response. "He nearly caused a nuclear disaster in Japan, almost killing millions. Now he's locked up and under tight security."
"We should have warned you." Bivalvan gave his apology, before glancing over to Kendo. "So, how do you know the wielder of the omnitrix?"
"I was a human and we went to school together. Then my dad, an Adronite, invaded Earth and tried to get us together to repopulate his species. Ended up burning through my body fighting him alongside Izuku here."
"Wait." Four Arms was nearly done with his meal when he turned to the neon pink glowstick. "That's what he meant?! I thought he wanted me to restore the Adronite species with the omnitrix!"
"You can restore species?" The girl questioned back, both getting surprises for the day.
"I'd need a planet for them but, yes." Four Arms summed it up.
"I better get back to work." Bivalvan waved them off as he went back to the kitchen area. "Feel free to get seconds."
"Thank you!" Kendo gave a short wave in reply before returning back to her meal. "Eating is, so different now. I technically taste it, but my body doesn't have any reaction to it."
"I wonder if it's the same with my energy being form." Four Arms wondered shortly, but was happily enjoying having a body of flesh to appease his appetite. "I'm thinking about calling it Lantern, or Syndronite. Oh! What about Projector? Cause he can project manifestations of light?"
"That makes it sound like it's an illusionist instead of the powerhouse it is."
Yep, just two aliens chilling at a weird noodle bar in a space city. Even if it was loud, the atmosphere was somehow relaxing in a way it almost made him forget all the things back home.
Almost.
Itsuka could see the way his shoulders fell, the happy fit red man aging rapidly before her eyes. "You still have a busy day ahead huh?"
"You have no idea."
Scooting back and forth in her wheelchair alone in her room, Pony was anxious with how their first real 'date' would be like. She had picked out a simple white button up beach shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and a frilly tropical skirt that just went past her knee. Lifting it up, she checked on the state of her shortened leg. While the stitches were gone, there was a small bud in its place that was growing from the end of it.
She didn't bring this up to any doctors in fear that they would start putting her on heavy medication or cut off even more of her leg. Instead she would bring it up in person with Izuku, because it was technically his alien powers that he used on the injury before to repair it, and some of it was left over so maybe this was it?
Hopefully she can get a prosthetic down the line that would let her keep the flower to be.
Double checking her phone, she couldn't help but groan when she saw what time it was. Unfortunately, while life was boring for her back home in the states, Japan was probably the busiest thing happening right now. Izuku, was probably blaming himself for the damage and doing everything he could to fix it.
Luckily he was actually working with people who knew his secret, otherwise he would go completely overboard and burn himself out.
Oh who was she kidding he'll always find a way to burn himself out. If the new hero app she followed was any indication, Izuku was out there everyday trying to help. Even if there was tons of people who somehow hated his alien forms.
A dark portal emerged in front of Pony, and while her first experience with that quirk was awful, Izuku had turned it into something she looked forward to. Voidrift stepped through the dark cloud, taking a moment to look around her room and seeing all the merchandise she didn't take with her to Japan.
He also saw the messy state of her room.
"Izuku!" Pony quickly pushed him away with her horns as she wheeled herself right behind him. "You were supposed to text when you were ready to pick me up!"
"You said I could drop by whenever!"
"You're supposed to text first!"
"Alright alright I'm sorry! I got caught up making dinner and giving the kids a wash. Where did you want to go? I'll take you anywhere."
Pony stopped fighting to get him out of her room, and actually tried to gauge to see how serious he was about this. "Anywhere?"
He immediately felt like he should backtrack on that, but given the fact that he was late he couldn't deny her request. "Yeah….you have somewhere in mind?"
A metal disc was hovering through the woods slowly. It was smooth on all parts, some other pieces opening up to reveal a multitude of tools at its disposal. It was pointing its several appendages around the area, small lights flashing as it collected data. It began moving towards a recent crater, a mechanical eye opening from the top to further examine the-
*CRASH*
A blur of yellow bounding between the trees crashed into it, shattering the foreign machine into smoking pieces.
The yellow was in fact a large ball of organic plating, unrolling until a round white humanoid with stubby limbs and a face on its chest, with a white hourglass symbol below its mouth, was standing in place to see the damage it caused.
"Oops. Hope that wasn't important."
"Kota! Where did you go off to?!" His mother's voice called out from nearby, too close for comfort.
Luckily the hourglass on his chest began flashing red with a low beeping, until in a bright flash of crimson the alien rolly polly was turned back into the young boy. Just before his mother came out from the treeline.
"Kota, what are you-" The mother looked towards the large crater, moving towards it as she investigated it herself. "Did a meteor strike here?"
"I don't know." Kota quickly stated, hiding the watch behind his back.
"Is this why Ragdoll said she noticed you coming over here a lot?"
"I don't know." He kept playing dumb.
"Well what do you know?"
"I don't know." Too dumb!
While it was clear that his mother suspected there was in fact something he knew, she had nothing to prove. "Ok, well let's get back to-WHAT IS THAT?!"
Kota spun around, seeing a metal glistening cloud moving down from the sky towards them. "Ummmm. A weather balloon?"
It began to unfold itself, arms emerging from its sides with three mechanical legs snapping out under itself. Finally, a head popped out from the top with two glowing orbs to serve as eyes.
Glancing down to his watch, Kota was only greeted with red. Guess he would have to leave this up to the professionals for now. They saw as its gaze settled on Kota's wrist, barrels of glowing hot energy charging towards the child.
Those heroes better act fast!
The morning sunrise of the islands was a pleasant view. The path they took through the tropical trees and plants added to the relaxing atmosphere.
Well, Pony thought it was relaxing, but Izuku looked on edge.
Putting on the brakes of her wheelchair, Pony looked up towards Izuku who was pushing her along. "Everything ok?"
"Y-yeah." Izuku did his best to look confident, while also ignoring the several mental notifications from his omnitrix detecting several foreign lifeforms. "So far."
Hawaii, her choice just had to be Hawaii.
"You're going to be doing online school right?" Izuku tried to shift the conversation. "Or were you going to wait until the start of the next semester?"
"I tried to get in some summer classes, but I was too late to sign up." The girl pulled back the small lever next to her wheel, letting Izuku continue to push her along the floral trail. "I really wish I could help back in Japan, things are really boring here in the states."
"I miss boring." Izuku retorted, making Pony laugh.
"Says the guy who actively avoids doing anything considered boring."
"Yeah." He admitted with a small chuckle. "I guess you're right. Nothing is boring when you have an alien watch from another universe on your wrist."
"Or a foreign girlfriend?" She teased, immediately blushing about how corny that sounded.
The two were very new at this, being a little more open with their feelings but still treading lightly for their own sanity. How can people just go from being friends, to suddenly super touchy feely?
Their awkward hormone filled brains tried to find something else to think or do, and that's when Pony spotted the shore with plenty of people on surfboards.
"Hey!" She pointed towards the beach. "We should go check that out! I always wanted to go surfing…but…"
She wiggled her stump, suddenly caught in the whirlpool of all the things she had hoped to do before, but seemed almost impossible now.
"Let's do it."
"What?" Pony glanced up to Izuku, who had a grin of determination.
"Let's go surfing."
"How?"
"America is ok with open quirk usage right? Who's to say I don't know someone who can help?" Holding up the omnitrix, the dial brightened as it began displaying a particular alien that could assist.
"GET BURIED YOU METAL FREAK!"
Pixie-Bob used her control over the Earth to pull the massive robot into the ground, the machine stopping its assault to assess its current situation.
"Where did it even come from?" Tiger questioned as he began trying to look up what he could but there was something messing with their electronics.
"It just, floated down from the sky!" Mrs. Waterhose was still bewildered by the machine. "Then it started trying to attack Kota!"
"Well we can't forgive that!" Mandalay reached out mentally to whoever was near the area to alert them of the danger.
Pixie-Bob continued to sink the machine, and with the head that was still poking out from the ground, it targeted her.
*PEW*
It launched a beam right at her, burning at her costume and punching her across the woods. With its captor no longer conscious, it began to break itself free of its entrapment and push itself out. Tiger attempted to assault it, to break it apart with quick blows across its surface. The metal seemed impervious to the hero's attacks, and swatted him away with ease.
A torrent of water suddenly wrapped around its frame, forcing it onto its back as Mrs. Waterhose was using her hydrokinesis to end the fight soon.
"Ragdoll!" Mandalay shouted to the other heroine who was attempting to overcome their problems with their communicators. "Do we have any back up?!"
"Still working on it!" She tensed as she tried to manually adjust the frequencies. "But it's still not…KOTA!"
"What?!" His mother shouted, briefly losing her concentration as their foe managed to point one of its guns towards them.
"Kota! He's coming towards us-"
*BOOM*
The next thing she knew was that her ears were ringing, Mrs. Waterhose realizing she was laying on the leaves and dirt below. Forcing her bruised and battered body up, she saw the towering machine with its metal glistening from droplets of water, stepping towards her with clear intent to finish her off.
*BWOOSH*
The flash of blue light alerted it to something, rotating its body towards the source and getting a faceful of lightning.
"Don't you know?" The black cyclops with two long tendrils emerging from its head jumped through the air and landed on its shoulder. "Water and electricity are a bad mix!"
The plugs along the appendages on his head snuck their way under its plating, frying the circuitry underneath until it began sparking wildly. He jumped away, just in time for the machine to explode where it stood in a blazing ball of fire.
"Are you ok?"
Mrs. Waterhose realized the question was directed towards her, the strange man being very careful as he helped her up.
"I, think so…my son!" The mother felt renewed worry fuel her tired body. "My son, it was after my son and-"
"I'll go find him!" He quickly interrupted, finding an excuse to leave before things got too complicated.
But when he turned away, she couldn't help but notice the symbol on his chest was just like the one on her son's wrist.
"W-woah!" Pony wasn't used to trying to stand on one leg, but with two arms, or, tendrils helping to keep her balanced it was just as good. Wearing a simple swim top and a short swim skirt, the teen felt the mist of the water brush against her face.
The wave began to grow, the board she stood on starting to fall forward and instinct screamed for her to bail.
"Steady now." The large jellyfish like alien right behind her kept her steady, keeping her foot on the wooden board as another limb wrapped around her waist. "You've got this!"
"Woooooaaaaahhh!" The wave began to curl over, Pony watching as the water was wrapping all around her.
"Go with the flow!" He leaned her body to the side, their weight steering the front of the board with it to ride the current.
"Aaaaaahhhahaha!" Her screams turned to excitement, her gut tingling as the time she was spending with Izuku was cementing itself into her memory.
This was the best date ever!
This was the worst date ever.
Shoto, wasn't one for being subtle. So when one day Himiko got a message that he wanted to get something to eat together she let Mina know she was going out and bailed on the dinner Izuku had made.
Himiko actually wore clothes for a change. Nothing crazy, just a little something she thought was nice. Aka a shirt with no sleeves that had a really wide neckline that slipped down one of her shoulders, exposed a little bit of her stomach, and some shorts that Mom would say are way too small.
Shoto offered to pick her up, but she turned him down since she didn't know how to let him into the weird invisible bubble her house was in.
When she showed up to the address though, she thought she had the wrong place. Nope, apparently the super fancy restaurant was the right place. She saw all sorts of people in exotic dresses and suits that cost way too much for the fact that they had the same design as the cheap ones. Oh, and a bunch of jewelry.
Out in the front of it, was Shoto in a little tux with an absurdly large bouquet of flowers in his grasp.
Still, she tried to play along with it. Strutting her stuff up to her date who stiffened up immediately on seeing her.
"What's wrong?" She teasingly posed in front of him. "Am I underdressed?"
"I think you look like yourself."
"Which is?"
"...pretty?" He tried, he really did. Which was both parts pathetic and adorable.
Sucking her clothes into herself in a quick twirl, Himiko created her own fancy dress with swirls of purple and gold in a paisley pattern. Wait, she could do better. Locating a piece of broken glass nearby, she quickly picked it up and chewed it until it was nothing but dust. Blending it into her outfit and altering the color around her eyes for makeshift makeup, she added a little extra dazzle with sparkles to her appearance.
"Oh, and thank you for the flowers." She grabbed the bundle, swallowing it whole and adding their petals to the bottom of her dress and the ends of her sleeves, leaving one intact at the top of her chest and putting another in his suit pocket.
He seemed even more silent and rigid, Himiko wondering if it was too much for him. Giving a small pat to his cheek to try to wake him up from his daydreaming, she towed him towards the entrance.
Hopefully she could try and save this.
Pony was starting to wonder if Eri was subtly pushing her love onto the beach into everyone's hearts. Or maybe it was because anything to do with the sea is when Izuku and his family would be there. Either way, even if her decision was influenced by one girl's obsessive interest she was able to enjoy her time here.
Sitting near her wheelchair on the sand, she glanced back to see Izuku in his Ampfibian form giving back the surfboard to the stand he rented it from. There were lots of fun little booths around. Pineapple juice stand, kebabs, sea shell gifts, a funky little blue dog next to a child trying to sell grass skirts. Her allowance wasn't much, but she could probably get at least something to eat and a gift for-
"Excuse me young lady!" A high pitched voice yelled out. Many heads turned to look towards the source including her own, but Pony was unfortunate enough to have the person calling out to her. It was someone with extremely thin proportions and hardly any definitive joints waving to her with sickly yellow skin. Their hands stretched out into three fingers on each one, their legs were stumpy with toe toes on each and that dress did nothing to hide the third one. The face though, was covered in makeup, and that toothless smile revealed two tongues in their mouth. Most notably, was the large single eye leaving no room for a forehead that had a shaky wig barely hanging on to its scalp.
"Me?" Pony held a finger to herself, the woman, more likely a crossdresser nodded in affirmation.
"Yes! I couldn't help but notice you out there with your friend! But he doesn't look the friendliest, are you alright? He didn't sting you did he-GAH!"
The person was promptly picked up by a much wider man dressed more casually. But not even his simple floral shirt and pants could hide how bulky he was with his dark purple skin tone. The sunglasses with a fake mustache he wore on his face only drew more attention to his oddly round nose and four eyes.
"Jumba!" The skinny one whined as he was pushed behind the man. "Not in front of the natives! I'm trying to-"
"These are very delicate matters." Jumba, she assumed his name, addressed her in a more serious matter. "But, we couldn't help but notice your, 'friend' here is new around. We wanted to ask where he was from, and what he was doing around here with you and-"
Pony would have stood up and yelled at them immediately, but instead she angrily began to pull herself up on her wheelchair while her foot kept sliding around in the sand. "Oh I see how it is! I thought since this was America we wouldn't have to worry about any of this but no! You all just have to get pissy against Izuku despite everything he does to help! You two of all people should know not to judge heavy mutation types! He wasn't even doing anything! We were just having a great time and you two just had to RUIN IT!"
Once she got back in her chair, she kicked a hefty amount of sand towards them. Jumba easily blocked it with his arm, but as for the other one.
"MY EYE! SAND IN MY GOOD EYE!"
"You only have one idiot."
"Excuse me?" Ampfibian hovered up to be right behind Pony, the air starting to hum around him. "Is there a problem here?"
"Pleakley! You're scaring away all the customers!" A small local girl ran up in her oversized red outfit with white leaves patterned on its fabric, not even caring for how much pain and agony the fellow was screaming out.
"Eechibaba!" The strange blue dog stood on its hind legs, also scolding the-
"Uncategorized DNA detected."
Izuku's omnitrix announced on his chest, gaining the notice of its target. Before he knew it a wide yellow beam emanated from the device, running itself over the small creature who was watching the phenomena with ears perked.
Pony saw the light, and taking another look at the weird dog, the two heavy mutation quirk persons…."Izuku, I think…"
"Yep." Ampfibian nodded, probably looking at some of the strangest group he has encountered so far. "Aliens."
He had been warned this place was filled with hundreds of genetic experiments, and was constantly notified of there being aliens on the island. At first he was scared of just what might be here, but if this was it, then there was no reason to avoid the island.
"Aliens?!" The girl was suddenly alert to their observers. "No one said anything about aliens! Aliens keep away from Earth so they don't get sick and make their heads explode! So if there were aliens here, you'd be covered in green brains and blue blood!"
"Powh." The blue creature voiced with a short motion of his clawed hand.
With a new light that perhaps there was a miscommunication between intentions, Pony decided to give them another chance. Holding her hand out and leaning forward, she started over. "Hi, I'm Pony."
The blue alien shook her hand like a polite little gentleman. "Stitch."
He talks?!
"I'm Lilo." The child was next, grabbing one of Ampfibian's tentacles and shaking it with no fear caution.
"Ampfibian."
"An Amperi." Jumba was finally done insulting the skinny alien, not shaking his hand but still invested in the meeting. "I could have sworn your species was extinct not too long ago, but you are clearly evidence of the contrary. I am Jumba, and the walking slug dressed as a woman is Pleakley."
"Pleasure to meet you!" Said alien was trying to readjust the wig with one hand and hold out another to shake Pony's.
"Wait." Lilo pointed towards Ampfibian. "He's an alien?"
"And a long way from his old home." Jumba folded his arms, really taking in the prime specimen's figure. His skin shimmered with a healthy shine, the hyperconductive veins following an ideal path to the muscles, and the subtle static that could put him out of phase with no effort. Truly, this was more than just some random survivor. This was a crafted work of genetic art!
And at the center of it all, was a symbol he had not seen in years.
"The omnitrix. You have it?!"
"Shhhh!" Ampfibian put a tentacle over Jumba's mouth.
"THE OMNITRIX?!" Pleakly cried, getting another tentacle to cover his mouth.
"What's an omatick?" Lilo asked next, getting a third tentacle to shush her.
Izuku eyed the self proclaimed Stitch, waiting to see if he too could potentially shout out the most prized device in the universe that aliens from across the systems would destroy countless worlds to-
"Meshkabuska?"
…ok?
Well, there were aliens on Earth that he didn't know that identified the omnitrix. With no current ideas, Izuku decided that besides finding a more private place to talk he needed someone else involved. "I need to make a call."
Life, while getting harder was becoming more rewarding.
Sure he lost his apartment in the recent destruction, but he had gotten so much more.
Even if it was just at a seafood market browsing through their collection of tastes, even if he had an eyepatch across his face, even if his arm was getting tired from having to use a cane all day to keep himself from falling over, it was all worth it just to see her happy being with him.
"What do you think?" The heavenly voice asked, Naomasa watching as Inko pointed between the different species of aquatic life laid out on the ice. "Should we get some halibut, or shrimp?"
She had offered him a place to stay, a family to be with, and while they hadn't announced anything to the children yet he was already involved in their lives.
"It all sounds amazing."
Across the globe in a small mass of land in the middle of the pacific ocean, a large home had opened its doors to two particular guests and a frequent visitor.
"You were supposed to be relaxing." Agent Bubbles stood in front of the timid Izuku, who was fully human and sitting on the couch next to Pony. Others sat nearby, participating in the discussion or listening in because they were curious, bored, or a mix of the two.
"We were!" Izuku defended himself. "And then, well things got complicated."
Lilo, who was sitting next to Pony, tugged on the girl's shirt to get her attention. "Did we get you in trouble?"
"No one's in trouble." Agent Bubbles assured the child. "We're just clearing things up."
"So, you work for him?" The adult of the house, or the girl who was forced to take on the role of the adult much earlier than she expected in life, Nani pointed between Izuku and the agent.
"In a way." Izuku admitted. "Since I got the omnitrix, I've been forced to use it a bunch. Especially when aliens are involved. He stepped in and helped me so I could do it more legally and openly. My identity is secret-"
"Hardly." Agent Bubbles reminded of Izuku's frequent habits of getting discovered.
"-but I can turn into millions of aliens and help out wherever I can now. Japan really needs it."
"You're a hero?!" Lilo shouted, her interest immediately skyrocketing over hearing of Izuku's status.
Izuku was about to correct her because technically he was sort of a legal vigilante, but Pony beat him to it.
"He is." She squeezed his hand with her own. "He's an amazing one."
"That's one way to use it." Jumba sulked, seeing much greater potential in the device. "I should never have left that slimy toad alone with my work."
"Turn into a dinosaur!" Lilo requested as she jumped out of her seat to be right in front of Izuku. "Or a big bug!"
"Lilo, leave the boy alone." Nani came to try and intercept her younger sister, but then a blue ball of fuzz joined in.
"Me! Be me!" Stitch jumped alongside Lilo as they started imagining all the things Izuku could become.
Well, since they were in a private setting.
*BWOOSH*
In his seat, Izuku fulfilled the first request to the best of his ability. Becoming a dinosaur like humanoid with a long beak on his face and a squawk in his voice, the two children were in awe with the transformation.
"What's this one do?!" Lilo questioned as she saw wings fold out from Izuku's back.
"This is Astrodactyl. I can fly, use laser whips, and make giant blasts of star power."
"Next, next!" Stitch loudly proclaimed, and in a flash of green Izuku turned into another alien resembling a large metal horned beatle.
"Eatle!" Embracing the mood, Izuku shouted his transformations name. "My jaws are so powerful to munch through cars with ease, and whatever I eat charges my horn where I can shoot out a laser!"
*BWOOOSH*
Then, Izuku turned into his latest sample. There wasn't too much difference between Stitch and Izuku's newest form, but Izuku did stand a little taller with his frame more firm in its muscles, and his turquoise coat giving a slightly more green look compared to his counterpart.
"Ooooooo." Lilo and Stitch looked over Izuku's new transformation, that was even wearing an orange jumpsuit with sleeves along his four arms.
"Four arms?" Izuku looked over himself, feeling the differences on his body. "Spines? And I have antennas?"
Stitch gave a short tap on his shoulder, Izuku looking over to see two arms pop out from his sides and the rest of the features coming out of hiding. Curious if he could do the same, Izuku sucked in his lower arms and tucked in his extra protruding appendages. "I wonder where it goes."
"Oh great!" Lilo pulled both of them into a hug, overjoyed by the development. "Now there are two of them!"
"Yaaay." Nani seemed less enthusiastic about it.
"OH me me!" Pleakley all but begged. "Do me next!"
"I think we've seen enough." Agent Bubbles interrupted the moment. "Jumba, you mentioned something about the omnitrix being 'your' work?"
"Yeah." Izuku, switching back to human held up the omnitrix. "I don't quite understand. The omnitrix was made by Azmuth in-"
"Azmuth?! Bah!" Jumba seemed insulted by the notion. "Sure he was there, but it was I who began collecting samples and pushing them to their prime conditions! Not to mention I perfected the omni principle and created a genetic energy source that is the lifeblood of the device! He is the Edison of the alien community! Taking credit for work many others have done!"
Not entirely sure how accurate that was, Izuku was suddenly stopped as Jumba latched onto his arm and wiggled his wrist around. "Do you really think that little Galvan could come up with something original? I can prove my work is in here by….wait a minute."
Now that he was up close to the device, Jumba began running his large fingers over the sleek design. "This isn't my work."
"So you didn't make the omnitrix?" Pony tried to get clarification.
"Of course I made it!" He quickly shot back, but started to make some clarifying points. "Well, maybe not the device itself, but the energy signature it uses to mold the DNA samples into stable life was my creation. Which is the most important part if you ask me!"
"So why did you end up in this universe?" Izuku questioned the alien, still trying to solve the puzzle that the others weren't piecing together.
"What do you mean?" Jumba, was now just as confused as Izuku. "Wait, are you talking about parallel universes mimicking our own? They don't exist."
"But the omnitrix is from another universe." Izuku thought he was reminding the man of something he forgot. "I was there, I fought there and if you didn't make the omnitrix there then-"
It wasn't the same one.
He had an omnitrix from another universe, but what about one that could have existed here before he got his?
The rumors that were already spreading through this universe, the ones that Esta and Nolan were listening in on. There's no way at that point knowledge of a device from another dimension was in this universe, so then there had to be another one sparking the rumors.
A second omnitrix.
Who knew who else was after it, or who was in possession of it now.
With the machine destroyed, and Kota rushing off before he timed out, wireless service returned to the area where the Wild Wild Pussycats could report their recent battle. Teams began sweeping through the area, picking up every piece of metal they could find to try and decipher its origins. Now later in the evening, Kota exhausted was about to go to bed. But on his way from the bathroom to the room he was staying in, he was intercepted by his mother.
"Hey." The woman kneeled down to him with nothing but love in her heart. "I'm sorry you had to fight that thing."
"I didn't fight it!" He quickly defended himself. "It was that cool electric guy that did that! I'm not him!"
She wasn't sure exactly where this was coming from, but she could only imagine how stressful this was for her son. "Look, I know it might have been scary when I asked you to use your quirk earlier to let me use until her Aunt and her friends could arrive-"
Oh, that's what she was talking about. Honestly Kota kind of forgot about that, focused more on a chance to back away until he could turn into a real super powered hero.
"-But you were really brave today, and we might not have made it if you hadn't helped." Mrs. Izumi wrapped her arms around him, grateful to be alive with her son at the least. "You made your father proud."
His dad, the one he inherited most of his quirk from. Kota, hadn't really thought about him lately. So caught up in the now that he forgot about his own father. When he first learned of his death, Kota wanted to blame heroes for throwing themselves to death without caring about how others might feel.
But, if he hadn't been a hero then his mom could be dead too.
Even when he didn't use the hero watch, he still helped keep his mom alive with the quirk his dad gave him. So…thanks dad. Thanks for helping him save mom.
Kota shortly returned the hug, not even giving it two seconds before going towards his room. He wasn't good at this part.
"Hey." She called out one last time, Kota looking back to his mom tapping her brace. "I'm thinking about heading over to the I-island expo to get this checked up on. I heard they've got some groundbreaking tech they're about to release that I might get put into this. Wanna come with me?"
A bunch of kids dream of going to the expo with all sorts of cool tech and rides, but the last thing he needed was him being trapped in a crowd of scientists that might try to take a watch he wasn't sure could pass through a metal detector. "No thanks."
"WE'RE BACK!" Mina let herself into the Midoriya home, Eijiro coming in right behind her. "We had a blast today! Eijiro made this big slip and slide park with his crystals and I used a low acidic solution to-"
"Shhh!" Eri harshly made the girl shut up.
While nothing bad seemed up with the house, Eijiro took a few steps further inside to see the very disheveled state Eri was in. Her hair was a mess, her clothes were dirty, and her horn was half the size it normally was! All around her, were passed out alien children, and a nearly passed out Cueball also among the blubies.
"What happened here?" He had to ask, because he couldn't figure out what would cause a pro hero and Eri so much exhaustion.
"Where to start." Cueball chuckled, still out of breath. "But, to sum it all up. Babysitting kids who can fly through walls is pretty hard."
Alright, I combined the Hawaii trip with the dates. While some could have had more written for them, a lot of these characters pretty much have their romance established. This is also probably the most I will write of Lilo and Stitch in this story. It was more than I planned, and it's probably further than I should have gone.
I don't want to turn this into a triple crossover sort of thing, but I do know a lot of readers still wanted to see some kind of interaction, so here it is.
Kota also revealed two more aliens he has, Cannonbolt and Feedback.
Next chapter, adventure of Blubies.
WARNING!
I have two games I'm excited to play coming through the mail, and I just finished the main campaign of Fallout 3 so I might be spending time on the DLC content. This may pull more of my free time away from writing, so while I'd like to promise that I'll continue the pace that I've been going I'm also super hyped to get through these games. So, just so everyone is aware, I might end up taking a break from this story for a little bit. I'm not burning out, but my interests are starting to pull me away from this story.
I will not abandon this story though, I'm way too close to the final arc to give up. It would take very extreme circumstances like brain death to keep me from finishing this.
