Chapter Text
"Can you tell us what Oikawa Tooru said to you as his last words?" A reporter wondered. The team stopped. Iwaizumi looked at his friends, and then back at the reporter.
"He said 'One day you'll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember. Someone told me when I was just a child, these are the lives you will remember' We miss you Oikawa" Iwaizumi looked to the sky as he said the last part. The reporter left them alone. Iwaizumi started having flashbacks.
"Iwa-chan! Look, did you see what I did!" Oikawa pointed to the ball he had just spiked. It was their last year at Seijoh, everyone was practicing hard.
"I saw it. You did good, Kawa. Let's close up now, its getting late" Iwaizumi smiled at his friend. Oikawa bounded over to him and took his hand.
"I love you Hajime" Oikawa leaned his head against Iwaizumi. The shorter boy didn't have to answer, he could've but it didn't matter, Oikawa knew he loved him too. It was the first time Oikawa said I love you to him. Normally Iwaizumi would be the one to say it.
_________________________________________
"Iwa-chan!" Eight year old Tooru ventured into the Iwaizumi home in search of his friend. He'd noticed the dark brunette hadn't been at school, and he hadn't met Tooru in the park for their usual volleyball practice. Iwaizumi-san, Hajime's mom, came out of the kitchen.
"Hey Tooru. Hajime is upstairs, he got sick last night" She explained. Tooru nodded and went up the stairs to Hajime's room. The older boy was laying in a pile of blankets, fast asleep.
"Hey Iwa-chan! Your mom said you were sick" Tooru sat down next to Hajime and stayed there. He even fell asleep. The next day, he went home with a cold.
_________________________________
Tooru grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and started writing. Two days ago, he'd gotten sick, and ended up in the hospital. Hajime was in the room next to him, also sick. Hajime had gotten it from Tooru, since they were always together. He quickly finished his letter and wandered out of his room. He slid the paper under the door and waited until he noticed it disappear. Hajime had gotten it. The darker brunette opened it and read what it said.
"Hey, Iwa-chan! This hospital is boring. The nurses are nice, but I've had a few mean ones. I miss you, we can't really see each other so that's torture for me. I'm sorry I got you sick, and I'm sorry your stuck in this hospital. Its weird how our rooms are right next to each other but we can't see each other. Its complete bullshit if you ask me, don't tell my parents I said that. I hope your doing well and get better soon. I miss you and volleyball! Can't wait to practice again" Your friend, Tooru Oikawa, or according to you, Trashykawa
P.S. I still hate these names you give me
Hajime burst out laughing. He could hear Tooru next to him. He grabbed a pen and wrote a letter back, then slid it under Tooru's door. The taller boy grabbed it and eagerly read it.
"Your really shitty you know that. I miss you too though. Your my best friend, Tooru. I know I'm mean but I care about you, don't leave me. Its not your fault we're stuck here. Besides, I'd rather be in here with you than alone. I miss volleyball as well, it was our life and now its gone temporarily. I won't tell your parents you cursed as long as you don't tell mine I do, or tell them about my harsher names for you. It is weird how we haven't seen each other but it'll be over soon and then we'll never leave each others sides. I hope your doing okay and get well soon. Can't wait to practice again" Your friend Hajime Iwaizumi, or according to you, Iwa-chan.
P.S. Never stop being you Shittykawa
Iwaizumi snapped out of his memories, he had tears running down his face. He still had those letters they passed secretly under each others doors. He still remembered when Tooru spent the night with him unknowingly and then got sick because of it. He still remembered the first time they said I love you to each other.
"Senpai, are you okay?" Yahaba interrupted Iwaizumi's thoughts.
"I'm fine, come on. Let's get to practice. I'm captain so I have to be responsible and lead you guys through practice" Iwaizumi teased. Oikawa was gone, but he would never be forgotten. That night, Iwaizumi walked to the cemetery alone. He stopped in front of one stone.
"You never did stop being you. Your life certainly was one that will be remembered" Iwaizumi smiled down at the stone.
Oikawa Tooru

Chapter Text
Oikawa loved his team. They were the best in his eyes, some had some weird habits[like Yahaba's love for slamming Kyotani into walls. And Kyotani's love for being slammed into walls] but they were okay. One of the best things about his team that he absolutely adored was when three of them would slip into the mental state of babies. Oikawa had found out about age regression when he was twelve, and Iwaizumi started acting funny during practice at Kitagawa. Oikawa had quickly dismissed himself and Iwa from practice and asked what was wrong. Iwaizumi did good explaining it to him. When they got home, Oikawa looked it up. He was fully accepting, which made Iwaizumi happy. From then on, Oikawa learned his friends habits when he was starting to slip and he would dismiss them from practice. Then they graduated and went to Seijoh and Oikawa picked up on the same behavior in Kunimi and Kindaichi that he had in Iwaizumi. He pulled them aside and asked about it. Apparently, they hadn't known what regression was and had just started feeling younger on some days so they went with it. After that, the three littles started making more appearances, it was rare for one of them to regress without the other two joining soon after.
"Hey, Oikawa! Look at them" Mattsun pointed to the littles. Kunimi was curled up with his favorite blankie and his thumb in his mouth. His hand was clutching tightly to one of his favorite stuffies, a shark. He was fast asleep. Iwaizumi was moving a godzilla toy around in the air and making sound effects himself, which included the cutest little 'rawrs' he could manage. Kindaichi was watching in fascination as the godzilla toy moved around. Oikawa melted at the sight of them.
"Iwa, why don't you let Yuuta play with the toy" Oikawa called out. Iwa looked up at him and then grabbed another toy that was laying nearby and he gave the godzilla one to Kindaichi.
"Hewe ya go" Iwa patted Kindaichi's head after that and then turned his attention to the new toy he had grabbed. Oikawa continued to watch them closely. He knew he should be practicing but it seemed the entire team was too afraid a ball would hit the trio of littles if they continued practicing. Kunimi stretched out, accidentally kicking Iwaizumi and Kindaichi and then he looked up at them and giggled. He crawled over to Iwa and put his hand where he'd kicked him. Oikawa figured this was his way of apologizing since he seemed too young to be able to form the right words. Kunimi had to be close to a year or two old. Kunimi then crawled over to Kindaichi and did the same then settled down with his head on Kindaichi's shoulder and went to sleep again. Kindaichi laid down, Kunimi's head was now on his stomach, and closed his eyes. Oikawa walked over to them, they were all getting tired so he had to lay some mats out for them to sleep on. He picked Iwa up first and set him down on one of the mats the coaches agreed to buy just for them, then he set one of the Godzilla stuffies and Iwai's blankie with the little. He moved Kunimi over next and did the same, with a shark stuffie instead, and then Kindaichi with a tiger. The rest of the team sat down in a circle, content to just pass a ball around instead of actually practicing. An hour later, Kindaichi woke and started crying, which woke Iwa, who woke Kunimi, who didn't like being woken up and was very grumpy.
"Great" Oikawa stood up. Kyotani and Makki followed him. Oikawa moved to pick up Kunimi, but the younger moved away and reached out for Kyotani instead. The second year looked surprised for a minute, Kunimi had never wanted to be held by him when he was little, but the shock wore off and he picked up Kunimi. Iwai made grabby hands at Oikawa and Kindaichi was being held, contentedly by Makki.
"Hey Iwai, can you tell me how old you are?" Oikawa looked down at his friend. Iwaizumi shrugged and wriggled out of Oikawa's arms. He ran over to one of the balls and grabbed it, turning to Oikawa with the happiest grin Oikawa had ever seen on him.
"Ball!" He shouted and went back to Oikawa. He held the ball up proudly. Oikawa took it and sat down.
"You wanna play?" Oikawa guessed. Iwaizumi nodded and sat down. Kindaichi and Kunimi watched in fascination from the other two caregivers arms as Oikawa rolled the ball over to Iwaizumi, who rolled it back, and giggled and clapped his hands, looking proud of himself.
"Kyotani, check Kunimi. He seems to be the youngest right now and we don't need any accidents" Oikawa instructed. Kyotani nodded and walked off to the clubroom with Kunimi clinging to him. Oikawa rolled the ball back to Iwaizumi, who rolled it over to Makki's feet. Kindaichi moved to be set down and he grabbed the ball, rolling it back over to Oikawa and then sitting down. Soon, Kunimi had joined them. The coaches walked in after a while. Oikawa had noticed one thing about Kunimi, he barely changed when he was little, his behavior didn't change much, but little Kunimi was very blunt.
"Old!" He pointed to the coaches. Laughter erupted through the gym. Kunimi giggled to himself, he looked proud of himself.
"Now Kunimi, that's not very nice" Mattsun walked over. Kunimi stared at him in confusion and then went over to the coaches.
"But old" He repeated. Nobuteru looked at Sadayuki and then picked up the little. Oikawa would forever be grateful for how understanding the coaches were. He knew that if Kunimi had said something like that to their middle school coach, it wouldn't have ended well.
"I'm so sorry!" Oikawa walked over to the coaches. They laughed.
"It's ok. We know how he is. We're not mad, and your not responsible for him. You could've called us when they started slipping" Sadayuki assured him. Oikawa nodded.
"I know but you already did so much to help with this, you even bought their toys with your own money, I didn't want to bother you anymore" Oikawa admitted.
"Your not responsible for them. Your a kid yourself, we're adults. Let us help" Sadayuki assured him. They walked further into the gym.
"Now, what's happened so far?" Nobuteru wondered.
"They've had a nap already, Kyotani took Kunimi to the clubroom, and did he need changed?" Oikawa looked to the second year, who nodded.
"I think Kunimi was one or two before the nap but he seems older now since he's talking, so I'd say he's around three or four. Iwai, I think, is four or five and Yuuta is probably three" Oikawa listed. The coaches nodded and sat down, instantly surrounded by the littles. Looking around at them, Oikawa felt full and happy, this was good. He was happy, and he wouldn't change this team for any others. They were his team, littles and all.
Notes:
I decided to change this into a oneshot book because I don't feel like making anymore fics. Below is a list of things I will and will not write.
Will not
Adult and kid sexual relationship[there cannot be more than four years between the characters for it to be romantic relationship]
Sex[I am a minor and would not feel comfortable doing so. I will write two characters kissing or mention them making out but I will not do descriptive sex]Will write
Platonic relationships
age regression[this includes the characters wetting themselves, diapers, adults can care for those who have regressed but it will not be sexual, and lots of happy babies]
angstHope you enjoy! Please leave suggestions.
Chapter 3: Bokuaka
Summary:
Akaashi just wanted to be happy. He thought that happiness would come from Bokuto.

Chapter Text
Akaashi was missing. Bokuto had already tried calling Akaashi five times and sent over twenty texts with no answer. He was close to throwing his phone against a wall in frustration. It wasn't like Akaashi to not answer texts or calls. He tried calling Kuroo and Kenma, they were the next closest ones to Akaashi, and then Daichi and Suga. No one had seen him.
"Akaashi. Please answer. I'm really worried now" Bokuto left yet another voicemail. Hours passed, still no answer. Bokuto finally decided to go looking. He searched all Akaashi's favorite spots and all the parks in their area. When he got to the last park, he saw Akaashi with his hoodie up and covering his face, sitting on a bench.
"Akaashi!" Bokuto ran over to him. Akaashi looked up.
"Hey Bokuto-san. What are you doing out here?" Akaashi wondered. Bokuto didn't answer his question, he noticed how nervous Akaashi was. His hands were shaking, and his eyes were red.
"What happened?" Bokuto wondered. Akaashi held it together for a minute before bursting into tears. Bokuto was quick to bring him into a hug.
"They found out. My mom found out, she didn't take it well. They know, everyone knows. I'm disgusting, Bokuto-san. I.." Akaashi stopped. Bokuto shushed him. He brushed Akaashi's hair aside.
"Don't worry about them. Focus on me" Bokuto kept his former setter's attention on him. Akaashi took a few deep breaths and then smiled. He took in the sight of Bokuto.
"My boyfriend. How did I get so lucky?" Akaashi kissed Bokuto's nose. The former captain pulled away and laughed.
"I'm the lucky one" Bokuto replied. Akaashi leaned against him.
"You didn't answer any of my calls or texts" Bokuto mentioned. Akaashi hummed. He could care less about that now. He could feel himself drifting into sleep. Bokuto stood up and grabbed Akaashi's things. He carried him home and laid him down on the bed to get some clothes out for his boyfriend.
"Keiji, come on wake up" Bokuto helped him up and took him to the bathroom. When he was finished, they went back to the bedroom. Bokuto laid the former setter down and crawled into bed next to him.
"Keiji, what happened?" Bokuto was still confused. Akaashi looked at him. He looked too tired to talk. Bokuto brought him closer. Akaashi laid his head on Bokuto's chest. Bokuto understood, they would talk tomorrow. For now, they were content in each others arms. Akaashi buried himself in Bokuto's arms. His boyfriend was warm, a personal heater. Bokuto ran his hand through Akaashi's hair.
"I love you Koutarou" Akaashi whispered, as he drifted off to sleep. Bokuto couldn't contain his excitement.
"Your my life Akaashi. I love you forever" Bokuto responded. Akaashi smiled.
_____________________
"What a lie that was huh, Bokuto-san?" Akaashi held back tears. He watched with tears in his eyes as Kenma walked down the aisle to his soon to be husband. Beside him, Osamu was offering support to Akaashi. Akaashi took the former spikers hand and squeezed. They'd gotten together when Bokuto made his and Kenma's relationship public.
"Your my life Akaashi. I love you forever" Osamu leaned down to whisper in the setters ear. They were the same words Bokuto had said to him on that one night when Akaashi's parents found out he was gay. He'd promised to love Akaashi forever but two years later he revealed that he loved someone else.
"I love you Osamu. Your my life too" Akaashi returned the comment. He truly meant it this time. He wasn't even sure if Bokuto had meant it. Akaashi wasn't sure if it was out of spite towards Bokuto, or just a feeling but they kissed where everyone could see, effectively taking the attention away from Kenma and Bokuto. Akaashi smiled at Osamu when they were done, ignoring the angry looks from the grooms. At that moment he only felt one thing. Love. He could only think of one thing to say to convey how much he loved Osamu.
"Let's get married" Akaashi leaned against Osamu's chest. The grey haired man agreed. And they did, three months after Bokuto and Kenma. They posted it on every social media platform they could.
'So this is love' Akaashi thought. He never truly felt it with Bokuto but now he was happy. And that would never change.
Notes:
So this was supposed to be angst, but then it was happy halfway through, and then I went back to writing angst. I feel like this was really bad. Let me know what you think.
Chapter 4: Iwaoi
Summary:
Iwaizumi thinks over Seijoh's loss to Karasuno.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Iwaizumi wasn't oblivious to the whispers and taunts aimed at his team. He knew some people saw him as too rough with the team, Oikawa especially, or saw the setter as annoying. But he didn't care, Seijoh was his team, and he didn't regret it. Looking at his setter now, he still didn't regret it. Iwaizumi couldn't help the smile that crept onto his face at how beautiful Oikawa looked. They were walking down the sidewalk, after the big game against Karasuno.
"What are you smiling about, Iwa-chan?" Oikawa interrupted the smaller boys thoughts. Iwaizumi brushed him aside.
"Don't worry about it Shittykawa" Iwaizumi took his setters hand. Oikawa looked down at it. He couldn't help but feel Iwaizumi was hiding something from him. Did he do something wrong?
"Iwai, what did I do?" Oikawa pulled away. Iwaizumi looked shocked.
"Nothing, Tooru. You didn't do anything. Why do you say that?" Iwaizumi wondered. Oikawa looked at him. He could see the sadness in his spiker's eyes.
"It wasn't your fault Hajime. We just weren't good enough" Oikawa put a hand to Iwaizumi's face, holding his cheek. Iwaizumi didn't have to ask to know what he was talking about. That wasn't what had been on his mind but it needed to be talked about.
"It was, Tooru. If I had gotten that spike, we would've won. I can't even call myself the ace if I couldn't get that" Iwaizumi looked down at the ground, they'd stopped walking but he wasn't sure when. Oikawa lifted his face to look in his eyes.
"You are fine Iwaizumi. None of that was your fault. Somethings just aren't meant to be" Oikawa assured him. Iwaizumi didn't believe him, how could he when he thought he'd screwed up so bad, they lost.
"But it was! How can you deny it?" Iwaizumi knew he shouldn't talk to Oikawa like this. Oikawa was the captain, and even if Iwaizumi seemed more in charge during practice, he still had to be respectful towards Oikawa. Which is why he wasn't too surprised to feel a light hand smack him upside the head. He still turned to glare at Oikawa.
"Because as the captain, I've learned we're not going to get every point and we're not going to win every game. It's a hard thing to learn but its necessary. Remember that Iwaizumi" Oikawa ignored the glare. Iwaizumi relaxed, he didn't look as angry though his head hurt from where Oikawa hit him.
"I guess" Iwaizumi looked away from Oikawa.
"I understand what your feeling Iwa-chan. I feel the same, I've felt the same way you have" Oikawa added. Iwaizumi didn't doubt it. Oikawa was smart, and he had experience with volleyball. He'd probably felt and experienced more than Iwaizumi.
"I still think its my fault" Iwaizumi said after a few moments of silence. Oikawa didn't answer for a while.
"It'll go away. Don't worry. The team will be here for you" Oikawa turned down Iwaizumi's driveway.
"And I'm here for you" Oikawa added. Iwaizumi smiled and chased after him, they quietly crept into the house and went to Iwaizumi's room. Iwaizumi knew he was seen as stronger, the one to lead Oikawa, the one always there to help. That was partially true but Oikawa was just as strong. He was willing to take over Iwaizumi's duties and let the vice be a kid again, without any responsibilities. They took turns leading the team, they took turns with everything so the other would have a break. And they were there to reassure each other when one was feeling down, always.
Notes:
This was really bad. Let me know what you think. Sorry its short. I'm not feeling too well right now and trying to write when your cramping and your stomach hurts on top of that is not fun.
Chapter 5: Kinkuni and Kageyama
Summary:
Kageyama finds out about Kinkuni during an unexpected storm.

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Kunimi just wanted to relax and take a nap. Kindaichi was with him for the day, before he had to go back to his own college. The two wanted to cuddle and watch a movie. But an obnoxious knock interrupted that. Kunimi rolled his eyes and answered the door. He immediately wanted to slam the door when he saw who it was.
"What? You chose a bad time" Kunimi glared at the person. Kageyama avoided looking at him.
"Who's there babe?" Kindaichi walked over to stand behind Kunimi. Kageyama looked between them. Kindaichi looked like he wanted to slam the door as well. He patted Kunimi's shoulder and moved out of the doorway.
"Let him in. Its storming outside" Kindaichi let Kageyama pass. When the former setter was out of earshot, Kindaichi leaned down to whisper in Kunimi's ear.
"Be nice" Kindaichi warned. Kunimi begrudgingly agreed. The three of them sat down, Kindaichi and Kunimi in one chair, with Kunimi on Kindaichi's lap, and Kageyama in another. Silence stretched between them for a while, making it awkward.
"Um...you have a nice apartment" Kageyama complimented. Kunimi glared at him, until Kindaichi put a hand on his hip.
"Thank you" Kindaichi smiled. Kageyama looked between them again. Kunimi and Kageyama stared at each other. Kunimi leaned into Kindaichi and kissed his cheek.
"I'm going to get some drinks. Do you want anything?" Kunimi wondered. Kindaichi shook his head. Kunimi nodded and walked to the kitchen, ignoring Kageyama. He was doing a good job, making it known that he wasn't happy with Kageyama being there. Kindaichi watched him go. He wasn't very happy with Kunimi's behavior.
"Why are you here Kageyama? We haven't exactly tried being friends with each other" Kunimi walked back in. Kindaichi stared shocked at his boyfriends behavior.
"Akira!" Kindaichi scolded. Kunimi looked at him.
"What? Its true. We haven't talked outside a professional setting since middle school and suddenly he just shows up out of the blue. I want an explanation" Kunimi pointed out.
"No. He's right. It was just storming and I was in the area. I didn't think of how you guys would feel" Kageyama admitted. Kindaichi sent a stern glare towards Kunimi. Kageyama ignored it.
"The truth is, I was hoping to meet up with you guys. It's been weighing down on me lately about what happened in middle school. And I wanted to say I'm sorry. I treated you guys like shit, and you didn't deserve that" Kageyama apologized. Kunimi scoffed.
"Damn right we didn't. And don't think that just because you're apologizing we'll forgive you" Kunimi warned. Kageyama nodded. Kindaichi was quickly growing frustrated with Kunimi's attitude towards Kageyama. He laid a warning hand on Kunimi's hip and squeezed, making the younger boy tense. It was no secret that Kunimi was more submissive, in everything, and could be a brat at times. Which is why Kindaichi was the perfect boyfriend for him.
"We were just as much at fault as you were Kageyama. We all made mistakes and we're sorry for it" Kindaichi replied.
"Speak for yourself, Yuuta" Kunimi retorted. Kindaichi frowned, his hand moving dangerously close to Kunimi's ass. Kunimi tensed and squirmed. Kageyama tried not to smile, he had a good idea of what was going on. Kageyama looked away to hide his smirk. Kunimi saw it regardless.
"Apologize and be good" Kindaichi whispered in Kunimi's ear. A faint blush tinted the smaller boys cheeks.
"I'm sorry Kageyama. Yuuta was right, we all had a part in what happened. It wasn't just your fault" Kunimi tried to not choke on his words. Kindaichi hadn't moved his hand. Kageyama thanked him.
"So.. um. The storm hasn't let up and its getting late. Do you think I could..?" Kageyama hinted. Kunimi looked outraged at the idea. Kindaichi stood up.
"Of course. We'll set up a spare futon for you" Kindaichi walked off. Kunimi pouted in Kindaichi's seat and glared at Kageyama. He'd ruined their perfect night and now Kindaichi was upset with Kunimi.
"I apologize for intruding, Kunimi. I hope you didn't have anything important planned tonight" Kageyama avoided smiling, knowing it would just annoy Kunimi.
"We did. Just so you know" Kunimi snapped. "But its fine. I wouldn't want you wandering out when its storming or whatever. Its too dangerous". Kageyama couldn't help but smile at that. He felt things would get better. Kindaichi came back in with some spare pjs that wouldn't fit either him or Kunimi. Kageyama thanked him and went to change. When he came back out, the three stared at each other. Kunimi was behind Kageyama and Kindaichi in front of him. Kindaichi reached a hand out to Kunimi, who gladly took it and stood by his boyfriends side.
"Well, we'll see you in the morning" Kindaichi awkwardly waved at Kageyama. The former setter nodded.
"And breakfast is at nine. Don't miss it or you won't get any food" Kunimi added as the door to his and Kindaichi's room closed. Kageyama stood there for a minute. A million thoughts went through his head. The most important one being
'Kunimi and Kindaichi are dating?'. He walked off to the spare room. He stopped and then turned back and knocked on Kindaichi and Kunimi's door. Kindaichi opened it.
"Do you need something?" He wondered. Kageyama saw Kunimi sitting on the bed, looking murderous like Kageyama had interrupted something.
"Are you gay?" Kageyama blurted out. That was not what he meant to say. Kindaichi laughed.
"Well I guess we were making it kind of obvious. Yes, we started dating in our third year, four years ago" Kindaichi nodded. Kageyama said goodnight again and walked off.
Notes:
This was not supposed to be like this. Kindaichi and Kunimi were supposed to confront Kageyama about what happened in middle school. I feel like this was dangerously close to being sexual which was not my intention. Also, they are all above eighteen.

"Okay, does everyone have their water?" Tetsurou double checked the bag, making sure they had everything.
"Yes. Tetsu, now lets to. Kou is getting impatient" Keiji took Tetsurou's hand and walked out the door, he was holding Kenma's hand and Kenma had Koutarou in his other hand. They got to the concert soon and were just in time for the first song. Despite having fun, things quickly went wrong. Koutarou and Kenma went to the restroom, while Keiji and Tetsurou waited outside. Tetsurou leaned down to be level with his boyfriend.
"I'm going to get us some food. You going to be okay here?" Tetsurou waited for Keiji to answer before he walked off. Keiji leaned against the wall with his arms crossed and waited. Koutarou and Kenma were taking a while.
"Hey pretty. You here alone?" Keiji mentally gagged at the girl that came up to him. He made a disgusted face as he looked at the girl.
"No. I'm waiting on my partners" Keiji looked away from her. She was twice his size, probably the same height as Tetsurou or close.
"I don't see anyone. Why don't you and I have some fun?" The girl grabbed Keiji's collar. He pulled away, hoping Kenma or Tetsurou or Koutarou would come back and get him out of this situation.
"Come on. I want to see what you can do. With those big muscles, you must be capable of a lot" Keiji backed further into the wall as the girl got closer.
"Please leave me alone" Keiji begged. He didn't sound as confident as he did. His voice came out in an almost squeak.
"Where's the fun in that?" The girl rea hed her hand down and squeezed making Keiji tense. Thankfully at that moment, a hand came out and grabbed the girls wrist.
"He. Said. No." Tetsurou twisted the gjrls arm up, away from Keiji and stepped in between the shorter boy and the girl.
"And who are you? His brother?" The girl sneered at Tetsurou. The former captain laughed.
"I'm his partner. One of them at least" Tetsurou answered. Two more figures joined Tetsurou.
"What happened?" Kenma questioned. His dark eyes peered into the girls. Tetsurou glanced at his partners before his attention was once again on the girl.
"She touched him" Tetsurou stated. Kenma nodded and went back to Keiji. Keiji had sat down but happily got up to let Kenma sit. He was then pulled down to sit on Kenma's knee, sideways.
"Get out of here and leave our boyfriend alone" Tetsurou glared at the girl. She scoffed and pulled away from Tetsurou.
"Whatever. He was ugly anyways" Tetsurou felt a rush of anger at her words. He ignored them and went back to Keiji.
"I'm so sorry! I should've never left you" Twtsurou knelt down. Keiji ignored him in favor of throwing himself into the taller man's chest. Tetsurou caught him and stood up, Keiji was now dangling from his arms.
"You didn't know. I'm not mad" Keiji buried his face in Tetsurou's neck.
"Come on. We can go home if you want" Tetsurou started to the door. Keiji shook his head.
"I want to stay. We already paid" Keiji explained. Tetsurou set him down and took his hand like a child. They enjoyes the concert afterwards and had a nice dinner at a fancy restaurant. No one else bothered them, but one of the three always made sure to be with Keiji at all times.

"Suga! I missed you" Daichi threw his arms around the former setter. Suga laughed, it was a wonderful sound to hear, and returned the hug. He buried his face in Daichi's neck.
"I missed you too Daichi. How's the team?" Suga wondered. That confused Daichi, Suga had visited the team many times. He brushed it off and told his friend about how the, now, third years were doing and the second years, and the new first years that had joined. They talked for hours, Daichi became more and more confused as the time went on. Suga was acting like he didn't remember anything from after they graduated. Daichi took Suga's hand and pointed to the ring on his finger.
"Do you remember this Suga?" Daichi waited. Suga looked down at the ring. It was a basic ring, nothing fancy. Suga smiled and took it off.
"It's my promise ring that you gave to me the day of our graduation. I gave you a similar one. We were supposed to get married" Suga answered, turning the ring in his hand and then putting it back on. Daichi smiled, at least Suga remembered that. He had no idea why that was the only thing after graduation that was present in the former setter's mind. Maybe Suga was just distracted and couldn't think. Daichi stood up and led Suga out of the restaurant they'd been eating at. They walked down to the beach and sat down.
"We should do this more often" Suga sighed. The breeze rustled his hair making it stand up and then curl. It was a beautiful sight and Daichi felt he could stare at his boyfriend forever. Suga looked at him and Daichi quickly looked away. Suga laughed at him and then pushed him playfully. He grabbed some sand and poured it on Daichi's shorts, squealing when Daichi did the same. Daichi brushed the sand out of Suga's hair and kissed him, this was a perfect day. Suga returned the kiss, and leaned into it.
"I love you Daichi. I couldn't ask for more than what you have already given me" Suga leaned onto Daichi's shoulder and closed his eyes. His hair tickled Daichi's face but the former captain didn't move.
"I love you Suga. But, where is this coming from?" Daichi pulled away from Suga to look down on him. Suga gave him a teasing smile. He scrunched his face up at Daichi and booped his nose.
"What, am I not allowed to profess my love to my boyfriend?" Suga teased. Daichi kissed his nose making the shorter boy laugh. Suga stood up and started running, looking back occasionally to see if Daichi would chase him, which he did. After a while they collapsed on the sand and laid down. They stayed there for a while until it was almost dark. The beach had been their favorite spot to go to for dates.
"Come on. I'm going to go get some ice cream" Suga stood and walked off, leaving Daichi in the sand. He never returned. Daichi waited almost twenty minutes before going to look for Suga. He wasn't at the beach and no one had seen him, not even the guy who was selling ice cream. Daichi started walking the beach. He walked down the street and somehow found himself at the hospital not far from the beach. He walked in, having no idea why but just following his instincts. When he got to the waiting area, he found Suga's promise ring on one of the tables. An identical one was sitting in the hall, they were making a trail to a certain room. Daichi walked into the room, Suga was standing at the window, which was open. His hair was flying different directions from the breeze and the curtains were hiding him.
"Suga? Why'd you leave? I was waiting for you?" Daichi reached out to Suga. The ashen blond turned his head, he was smiling and looked happy. Suga laughed, it sounded faint, almost far off like Suga wasn't near Daichi.
"You have to let me go Daichi. They need you" Suga's smile faded. Daichi froze, what was Suga talking about? The blond started fading until he was invisible and the curtains stopped moving. Everything turned darker. Daichi felt a heavy weight on his chest and woke up. A certain ashen blond kid was sitting on his chest.
"Dad! Wake up, wake up! Eiko's crying" The kid shook Daichi until he was sure his dad was awake. Daichi recollected his thoughts for a minute, that dream had felt so realistic. He gently felt the empty spot next to him and then got up. He set his oldest kid, a boy named Kauchi down. He was the oldest of three, Kauchi, Keitaro, and Eiko. Kauchi is eight, Keitaro is six and Eiko is three. Daichi took one last look at his and Suga's bed and then walked downstairs to take care of his children.
Notes:
Sorry I haven't updated in a while. Things have been so chaotic.
Kauchi was named after (Kou)shi and Dai(chi). I just changed the O to an A.
Keitaro was named after (Kei)ji and Kou(taro).I might make another chapter or maybe a nextgen series around the younger children of Haikyuu ships. Let me know what you think.
If anyone is confused, the memory is set after they graduated so during their first year of college but Suga didn't make it that far. Daichi adopted Kauchi, Keitaro, and Eiko and subconsciously chose two with close to the same shade as Suga's hair to remind him of his boyfriend.

Chapter Text
"I wish for a brother!" Atsumu whispered excitedly, blowing out the fifteen candles on his cake and hoping his wish would come true. He never noticed the faint outline of a boy standing next to him, the same age as him. That night, he lay in bed, thinking up different things for his imaginary brother. In his mind, the non-existent sibling would come as a baby, not a teenager, he would have black hair, the same as Atsumu and would grow to be the same height Atsumu was now. The entire night was spent thinking up little things for his brother, they would argue and fight and sometimes hate each other of course, his brother would be a big eater and would love onigiri. Maybe someday, they could have another little brother or sister. It wasn't long before Atsumu fell asleep, and the night passed, bringing in a new day. When Atsumu woke up, someone was tugging on his sheets in annoyance.
"Tsumu! We're going to be late and then mom will get upset!" Atsumu looked over his bed, staring at the boy in his room.
"Who are you?" Atsumu couldn't take his eyes off the strange boy, he looked exactly like Atsumu described his imaginary brother the night before, except older and taller and he was talking and walking and most definitely was not a baby.
"I'm Osamu. Duh" Osamu rolled his eyes. He knew what was happening, he knew he was just a figment of Atsumu's imagination. Atsumu still didn't look away.
"Osamu. Right, sorry I overslept" Atsumu threw his covers off. The best thing for him to do now was just play along. He climbed down from his bed, and since when did he have a bunk? He walked out of the room, Osamu went to the kitchen since he was already dressed and ready for school. Atsumu came out ten minutes later and they walked to school together.
"How long are you going to keep me here?" Osamu wondered. Atsumu looked at him, confused, he was sure there was no way the boy of his imagination would know that he wasn't real.
"I know Atsumu. You wished for me last night, happy birthday by the way" Osamu looked at the ground. Atsumu felt he should comfort him, but he didn't know how.
"Thanks, I guess. I don't know how long I'm supposed to keep you here. I didn't even think my wish would come true and you're not exactly everything I wished for last night" Atsumu pointed out.
"What do you mean? I have black hair, I love onigiri, sometimes we fight and argue and hate each other, I'm a big eater and we're the same height. Isn't that everything you wished for?" Osamu wondered. Atsumu nodded.
"Yeah, but you're not a baby. Last night I wished for a baby brother" Atsumu answered. Osamu stopped walking.
"And that's what you got. I'm younger than you. We're three minutes apart, your baby brother" Osamu explained. Atsumu silently facepalmed, he hadn't thought of that.
"Right, sorry. I forgot I probably had to be more specific last night" Atsumu started walking again.
"Are you not happy with me?" Osamu wondered. Atsumu shook his head.
"No! Your great, just, not what I was expecting. I wasn't expecting to wake up with a brother at all this morning" Atsumu said the last part to himself.
"Everyone's wishes always come true. It never really lasts long but I'm sure it won't be long before things go back to normal, let's just enjoy today while we can. I'll be gone by morning" Osamu told him. Atsumu looked at the younger, fake boy.
"What do you mean? Isn't this...isn't this permanent?" Atsumu wondered. Osamu looked at him.
"Oh no, Tsumu. Wishes are never permanent. If you wish for a toy, you get it, don't you? But eventually, you outgrow that toy or lose it, maybe it gets broken, it never lasts forever" Osamu continued talking the whole time. Atsumu listened to him, this was nice, a good change that he could get used to if he wanted. They spent the whole day together, practicing, eating lunch, went to class together, everything. Pretty soon, they were walking home and going to their room. It was almost nighttime.
"Is this it?" Atsumu wondered.
"I'll be gone at midnight. You've had me for exactly one day, now it's time to say goodbye" Osamu looked at Atsumu.
"But, it's not enough" Atsumu whispered. Osamu gave an understanding look.
"It's going to have to be. But hey, wish for me again next year?" Osamu held out a fist. Atsumu nodded, he would do that.
"But Tsumu, eventually, you have to let go of me. Before you know it, you'll be an adult, and you won't need me anymore" Osamu told him. Atsumu looked at the younger boy.
"I think I'll always need you. This has been the best day of my life, Miya Osamu" Atsumu replied. Osamu smiled, the clock turned to midnight and slowly, Atsumu fell asleep. The next day, he woke up, his bed wasn't a bunk bed, his room wasn't as dirty as it had been when Osamu was there, when he went to his bathroom, there was one of everything, not two, their kitchen table was set for three not four, his bag hung by the door, swinging by itself side to side. When he got to school, the seat next to him remained empty, at practice, #11 was being worn by Kosaku. On the bus, someone he didn't know sat next to him. Osamu had just disappeared without a trace.
