Anakin didn't know what to expect when he had entered the chancellor's office to debrief but it certainly hadn't been a collection of Jedi council members trying to calm down a sword-wielding clearly malnourished very visibly injured and traumatized child who looked like they hadn't slept in ages judging by the huge dark bags underneath their eyes, who was wearing what looked like threadbare padawan tunic remains over a black undersuit, that was under a long dark brown trench coat that was covered in dust mud blood and all manner of different stains he also wore armor along with a tattered blood-red cloak with a white furry mantle. The more Anakin looked at this child the more familiar they seemed to become they had wild thick unruly red hair that was shoulder length and all over the place but what made Anakin white screen and freeze completely was the boy dull near lifeless turquoise blue eyes those eyes he didn't think he could ever forget those eyes and the person they were always associated with "Obi-wan???" he asks in a disbelieving quiet tone please let me be wrong he thinks desperately, he sees the chancellors visible shock at his inquiry and he sees the resignation in the other councilors gazes. The boy's dull near-emotionless gaze snaps to him "who's asking" the boy all but snarls clutching his sword tighter sides "it's Ben now anyway" the boy says coldly "haven't been Obi-wan in months now". Anakin feels as if he has been run through by his own lightsaber when he looks at Obi-wan how had this had happened to his master, he noticed the distinct lack of a padawan braid and felt his heart shrivel up slowly dying inside of his chest he was far too young to have been knighted which could only mean three things either his master hadn't been taken in by the Jedi yet or worse his young master had never found a master or in the absolute worst-case scenario he had been repudiated and abandoned currently Anakin prayed to every higher being he knew of that it wasn't the third option but deep in his heart he truly knew that it was the most likely option out of the three. Obi wan's eyes were full of distrust and a deep-seated paranoia he clutched tightly to his sword muscles coiled and ready to spring into action at a moments notice, Anakin also couldn't sense his master's force signature which frightened him because his master was currently a child so why did his master as a child have the same sort of duracreet shields he has an adult there was something seriously wrong with his master as a kid what had he been put through.

To say Palpatine was shocked at the appearance of a random sword-wielding child during his meeting with a few Jedi council members would be an understatement he was also surprised by the boy's blatant distrust of everyone in the room and downright hostile nature he didn't think he could be more shocked until Anakin uttered the name of that accursed Jedi master that he hated so much for the man could ruin his best-laid plans just by existing the kid had then shaken his very knowledge of this particular pesky Jedi by responding to the name with ice and pure venom laced into his voice. what the hell he thinks how in the sith hells was this Kenobi as a child he was nothing like the wretch of a man Palpatine was forced to deal with. But as he looked deeper he saw the truth ringing out clear within the force he had been shaken for the first time in years and it was caused by the child version of the impudent gnat of a Jedi master he was trying to kill, what the hell was wrong with Kenobi as a kid what had happened to him to make him act like this it would have to be something big and he had to give props to whoever or whatever had traumatized this seemingly unflappable Jedi enough that his personality had done an entire 180 from what Palpatine was used to.

Dare Palpatine say it maybe had he been able to spend time with the child alone in the past he might've been able to twist the boy's brilliant strategic mind to his side. Well he thinks there's no reason he couldn't try it in the future because as brilliant as getting the chosen one to be his apprentice was it was far too easy and he had quickly gotten bored of how easy it was to manipulate the young knight, Obi-wan had proven time and time again that he was worth some of Palpatine's begrudging respect and unlike Anakin was very difficult to manipulate or even get a read on sometimes because of his tight strong tall duracreet mental shields and well Palpatine did so adore a challenge but he just hadn't been able to find anything he could use against the other man to twist him he really was the poster boy for a good Jedi and reminded Palpatine far too much of the Jedi of the past now Palpatine knew the boy wasn't as stoic and unflappable as he thought he was he believed he could stand a chance in turning the boy if he played his cards right.
Little did he truly know what he was messing with and if he had known he would have known to abandon his plans right there and flee because the moment he messed with the young Kenobi something within the boy would take notice of the threat to its own bond with the boy and would seek to eliminate him.

Obi-wan could feel murderous intent emanating from his other voices or as he likes to call them Πολλά (Pollá) they rear their heads clear in their blatant distrust of everyone in the room and their want to tear everyone to shreds before they can lay a hand on Ben. Ben grits his teeth against the cacophony that is Πολλά (Pollá) they sense Ben's mental discomfort and shove their louder less cooperative voices into a separate room in the mind space so Ben can no longer hear them yelling. Ben breaths out a sigh of relief and mentally thanks Πολλά (Pollá) before they both reassert their attention to the potential threats to their well being who are currently surrounding them. He doesn't like how close these people are to him he doesn't want them getting any ideas, he wants them to back the hell off he doesn't care for their concern and shock which is permeating his force sense right now trying to throw him off and distract him, so he shoves the feelings of safety and comfort back at those who sent it at them and he does it quite violently so they will get the message to stop. "What the hells your problem kid" snarls Anakin who has no idea emotionally how to reconcile with this kid being his future master. "A lot of kriffing things are wrong with me" snarls Ben his dull eyes alight with rage "what the hell do you want me to do about it Skywalker let out my every current emotion" growls Ben frustration and exhaustion evident in his tone, "ya know what yes" yells Anakin "it would be more productive than anything you've ever done Obi-wan". Ben's eyes turn shrouded and dark and an almost hysterical laugh claws its way out of his throat "oh because you know so much about me" he snarls.

Oh my thinks Palpatine this was just too good Anakin was such a fool that he was tearing apart his own relationship and bond with Obi-wan by himself he didn't even need Palpatine's help to ruin everything connecting him to the light. Obi-wan clenches his fists as his mind flickered with ideas of different ideas that would perfectly show his current emotions and mental state ah~ he thinks got it Πολλά (Pollá) could use your assistance during this he calls into his mind Πολλά (Pollá) readily agrees because he's wanted to give Skywalker the shock of the century for ages now.

Chapter Text

Obi wan's eyes flicker open to reveal glowing crimson red irises and he speaks with several echoing overlapping voices "you have much to learn, and we've been holding too much in for too long you will realize why we're so "emotionless" in your eyes and believe me when I say we have a damn good reason to be the way we are". The chancellor's office fades away to a void of white a vast expanse of nothing. "sooo" says the young Obi-wan "what to show you what to show you first ah this will do nicely~"

The void then fades away to reveal a decimated city, and they catch sight of a different Obi-wan dressed only in his tattered and torn padawan tunics and robes running through the streets carrying a child on his back a blaster in one hand and a sword in the other. He looked like a teen on a mission, he dodged blaster bolts being fired at him from behind before snapping around and firing off 4 shots all of which hit their targets with pinpoint accuracy. "Woah," says Anakin "I didn't know you were that good with blasters" "yeah kinda became a necessity until I stole a sword from the Daan armory during one mission then I began to duel wield" admits Obi-wan casually. "you duel wielded with a sword and a blaster," says Anakin in utter shock "yep" Obi-wan admits happily "it's actually quite effective" he states matter of factly "but anyways put your attention back on my other self the scene might change after a couple of minutes.

Everyone's attention turns back to the other Obi-wan, who had now arrived at the secrete sewer entrance to the youngs base, they watch as Obi-wan seemingly taps out a rhythm on a sewer grate. The scene then warps to reveal three young teens standing around an old holographic war table. The one on the left side of the table had long copper hair tied back in a messy bun and pale green eyes she wore a baggy black undersuit under patchwork armor. The one on the right side of the table had curly brown hair and dark hazel eyes he wore a baggy dark blue undersuit under patchwork armor and a long black trenchcoat and the third stood in the middle they had unruly copper red hair and green grey-blue eyes they wore cream-colored tunics and a dark brown obi underneath patchwork armor. "That's you?" asks Padme in shock Obi-wan nods "who are they" inquires Bail gently "They're Nield and Cerasi, two of my closest friends during this force damned shit show of the start to my teenage years," remarks Obi-wan with a genuine smile, that shocked Anakin he'd never seen Obi-wan smile so easily about anything smirk yeah sure but smile no never.

"We can enter from the sewers to put us at a tactical advantage because the Daan believes that the sewers were sealed of decades ago and the Melida believe they are inaccessible and unstable due to past biological warfare," says the other Obi-wan looking up from his datapad "how did you know that," asks Anakin in shock "oh I hacked into both of their past archives and their current archives if you don't want information leaked then protect it better says their Ben with a little smirk his eyes glinting in the rooms low lighting. "Did you hack their archives again Ben?" asks Nield knowingly "oh absolutely" replies the other Obi-wan his eyes glinting dangerously almost glowing in the low lighting "they did leave them rather under defended" he states matter of factly " I mean if they don't want me getting in the least they could do is put in a decent firewall" says the other Obi-wan clearly irritated and disappointed "Your disappointed" laughs Cerasi incredulously "YES" says Obi-wan "I could build better defenses in a couple of hours damn it" "we'll be sure to put you in charge of all technological-based things then Ben" chuckles Nield. Other Obi-wan rolls his eyes "yeah I know not the time but still my point stands" "and that is?" asks Cerasi "The Elders are kriffing dullards with no comprehension of technology and coding" "Now that's a kriffin mood" says Nield hazel eyes crinkling in silent laughter Cerasi is much more vocal when she starts to shake with loud laughter "o...oh...oh my stars you did not. Hahahahahaha, it's funny and so true but they would kill us if they ever heard about this" Cerasi tacks on after calming down "let em try" says Obi-wan waving off the threat of imminent death "they've already failed several times now, it's actually kind of embarrassing if you think about it, I mean they're full-grown adults trying and failing to kill barely teenagers". The talking between the teens is still going on in the background.

"Damn so you were always a sassy bastard," says Anakin, "what do you mean by failed to kill you several times now," asks Palpatine "oh yeah they've already tried to take me out of the equation several times now, and it seems that they're just not learning their lesson," says their Obi-wan "which is???" asks Palpatine perplexed "oh I don't die, or at least they haven't found anything permanent yet...." says Obi-wan matter of factly "I await the day that someone finally does because that will at least be interesting" Palpatine looks like he's contemplating his entire existence ("IS THAT WHY NONE OF MY PLANS HAVE WORKED BECAUSE HE'S SOME SORT OF IMMORTAL KRIFFING SOLDIER", he screams incoherently behind his mental shields). "So anyways," says Obi-wan completely disregarding the mind broken Palpatine "we're probably gonna move on in a few seconds, so you should all prepare yourself for what's to come" "why???" asks Padme worriedly "oh because It's only gonna get worse from here on out Senator my apologies," says Obi-wan politely (oh so he's polite to Padme and Bail thinks Anakin angrily but not to me the Chancellor or anyone else.)

The scene then warps once again they find themselves in a very dilapidated clearly historical building children and Teens and adults and elders standing on opposing sides all armed to the teeth and armored up. But they're negotiating (oh hope this is the end of the war thinks Padme optimistically despite what Obi-wan had just said prior) all of a sudden a blaster shot rings out across the silent and one of the negotiating teen's body falls to the ground now lying motionlessly two screams ring out through the building "NOOOOO" screams a brunette (Nield) collapsing near the body sobbing heavily "BEN" he screams and a blur flies past the future group a primal scream of loss tearing out of the young body as other Obi-wan comes to a stop in front of the brunette holding two swords his eyes glinting crimson red "I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD WHEN I FIND OUT WHO DID IT!!!" he snarls his eyes hard tears leaking silently down his face which was the picture of pure rage and despair at the same time. "Oh gods," says Padme noticing a hint of copper hair, her hand coming to cover her mouth tears streaming from brown eyes "was that.....", "Cerasi.....yes...it was her," says Obi-wan his gaze hard, cold and full of grief. (oh sithspit thinks Anakin in utter shock she died in front of them that's too much that's too kriffing much he thinks angrily) everyone else's faces are a variety of shocked, horrified, and concerned. The Jedi that are present are upset that they'd believed Qui gon's words and left Obi-wan to suffer through this alone. Palpatine is secretly wondering about the red eyes they weren't sith eyes so what the hell was going on with kid Kenobi and why did it feel like his bloodlust had rocketed up astronomically in just a few seconds.

Other Obi-wan watches as the adults and elders flee in pure fear. He turns back to the sobbing Nield and rests a hand on his shoulder standing sentry over his only remaining friend as he pours his emotions out holding their dead Platonic soulmate, tears trickle down from glowing crimson eyes. Nields left-hand reaches up and clutches at Obi wan's hand tightly as he tries to tether himself through the storm of emotions he is feeling (this is horrible thinks Padme no one should have to experience this let alone a child).
Once more the scene shifts except other Obi-wan is alone and he is visibly shaken and scared he's clutching his knees to his chest with his right hand and with the other he shakily holds a piece of dura sheet paper which is being crushed in his unnaturally strong grip, as tears pour down his cheeks. (this is horrible everyone thinks I wonder what happened) Obi-wan clutches and tears at his hair with his right hand "Damn it this isn't getting you anywhere Ben it never does, so TURN IT OFF" (what does he mean by turn it off thinks Palpatine) Other Obi-wan takes a deep breath and rises to his feet the tears have stopped abruptly and his eyes reopen to reveal cold glowing crimson red orbs that lack a spark of emotion (Holy shit thinks Anakin did he mean turn his emotions off) Obi-wan stalks from the room having dropped the sheet of dura sheet paper to the floor, Padme leans forward to understand what had made Obi-wan so unnerved her face turns chalk white her eyes shrink in pure fear she shakily clasps her hand over her mouth as tears pour from her eyes "o...oh oh stars no" she says, "Padme?!" Anakin inquires worriedly "what did you see" Padme points shakily at the dura sheet paper and Anakin's Astral/spirit form reaches out and finds he can pick this particular sheet of dura sheet paper. When he catches sight of the threatening missive that was written in red ink it takes him a whole 15 seconds to realize that this red ink is blood, these bastards had written a threatening letter to Obi-wan in blood, and judging by Obi wan's reaction there was only one person that it could be. The Chancellor leans over his shoulder steel blue eyes widen in shock "oh my stars, that's horrific" he utters shock horror, and concern in his gaze.

The scene sweeps away again And it shows Obi-wan standing chained armourless in a large cage with no ceiling staring upwards with resignation and acceptance the future group's gazes turn upwards and sees the huge slab of durite hanging over the cage suspended by a crane-like contraption. (Oh Stars and gods no think Padme and Bail horrified) "they're trying to crush you to death Obi-wan," says Anakin in utter horror and fear their Obi-wan nods mutely looking at the scene with a deep-seated burning hatred in his gaze but Anakin could tell that the hatred wasn't for what was happening to him, Anakin turns to the left and spots a near-hysterical Nield on a balcony being held back by several individuals "they forced him to watch....." Anakin says his voice almost a whisper "that's why you're mad" Obi-wan nods tersely as someone in the background yells to pull the lever and everyone watches in abject horror as the huge slab of durite falls towards the trapped Obi-wan who is looking up at it fists clenched and teeth grit. They all turn away unable to bear such a sight except for Palpatine who looks only to try and figure out the key to Kenobi's "immortality". They can hear the anguished screams of Nield and its absolutely horrifying "BEN, nonononononono you can't die as well not you please don't leave me" Nield pummels the people who held him back from stopping the execution, his hands are covered in blood when he finally pulls away and runs over to the cage collapsing next to it sobbing hysterically "oh gods NO Ben this was never meant to happen please don't leave me I can't lose you and Cerasi, please be alive I know its impossible and I'm hoping for a miracle but please....." The huge durite slab shifts and everyone's eyes dart to it in pure shock they know that somehow Obi-wan had to survive this but seeing it happen just adds to the impossibility of the whole situation, the slab shifts again then is flung violently up and out of the cage revealing Obi-wan bloody but someway somehow still alive and breathing. Obi-wan catches sight of his hysterically sobbing best friend and he pries the bars open wide enough with the force so he can step out of the cage then he collapses next to Nield who latches onto him as soon as his knees hit the ground they both cling to each other crying without showing signs of slowing and or stopping at any point.

The Scene then shifts again to other Obi-wan who is standing on a balcony clutching a datapad in an iron-clad grip shaking in fury "⎓⚍ᓵꖌ╎リ⊣ ʖᔑᓭℸ ̣ ᔑ∷↸!, i ꖌリ𝙹∴ ∴⍑𝙹 ↸╎↸ ╎ℸ ̣ ᔑリ↸ ||𝙹⚍ ᔑ∷ᒷ ⊣𝙹╎リ⊣ ℸ ̣ 𝙹 !¡ᔑ|| ╎リ ʖꖎ𝙹𝙹↸ ⎓𝙹∷ ∴⍑ᔑℸ ̣ ||𝙹⚍'⍊ᒷ ↸𝙹リᒷ!!!!." he snarls animalistically (Translation for the future group: Fucking bastard!, I know who did it and you are going to pay in blood for what you've done!!!!.) his eyes are glowing crimson red and he raises up his sword and roars in a deep animalistic voice to his pack of force-bonded Dragons "ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ∷ᒷ'ᓭ ᔑ ↸ᒷʖℸ ̣ ℸ ̣ 𝙹 ʖᒷ !¡ᔑ╎↸ ᒲ|| !¡ᔑᓵꖌ ᔑリ↸ ╎ℸ ̣ ᓭ⍑ᔑꖎꖎ ʖᒷ !¡ᔑ╎↸ ╎リ ⎓⚍ꖎꖎ ∴╎ℸ ̣ ⍑ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ╎∷ ʖꖎ𝙹𝙹↸. ||𝙹⚍ ꖌリ𝙹∴ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ╎∷ ᓭᓵᒷリℸ ̣ ᔑꖎ∷ᒷᔑ↸|| ⍑ᔑ!¡!¡|| ⍑⚍リℸ ̣ ╎リ⊣" (There's a debt to be paid my pack and it shall be paid in full with their blood. You know their scent already happy hunting......) he says ominously. (Oh I do not wish to ever be the individual that is being hunted by Kenobi especially when he's like this thinks Palpatine with a hint of fear and apprehension) (DAMN he's tamed literal kriffing Dragons thinks Anakin incredulously), (I'm starting to believe there's nothing he can't do thinks Padme her shock increasing for every new thing she learns Obi-wan can do). (Well that's terrifying thinks everyone else)

" Welcome to мир (Mir) Mawat I do hope you and the others will find your peace here," says a much calmer Obi-wan his eyes were their normal blue grey-green color though there was still something impossibly sad in his gaze. He was welcoming in a group of beaten-down older teens, their Obi-wan growls his gaze shrouded and dark "I never should have trusted him" he snarls darkly. (Why thinks everyone else) "Thank you, Ben," says a light brown-haired and amber-eyed older teen who must be Mawat (he looks nice enough everyone wonders so why's our Obi-wan so mad at him). The other Obi-wan smiles slightly "your welcome Mawat, I hope you enjoy your lodgings if you need me I'm living up on the cliff over there" and Obi-wan points upwards at the nearby mountain Mawat nods and the other Obi-wan turns away and makes his way deeper into the country he founded with Nield after he escaped his botched execution. (Anakin feels like something terrible is going to happen judging by how their Obi-wan is acting). Other Obi-wan treks through the country he and Nield had built up from the ruins of a past walled-off town. He locates one of his dragons and hops on the back before requesting passage up to his and Nield's home ("ok we can all agree that, that is the kriffing coolest way to travel right" says Anakin "oh absolutely" says everyone else truthfully) the dragon drops off Obi-wan on the cliff and he walks sedately towards a peaceful looking cabin. (He's so much calmer now thinks Padme and Bail happily maybe the worst has passed, maybe they'll finally get some peace they both think hopefully). Obi-wan takes off his boots and his coat he makes his way to his and Nield's shared bedroom and climbs into bed next to Nield who instantly latches onto him in a hug. They both fall into a deep sleep. Anakin notices how their Obi-wan has turned away from the scene his eyes full of grief and sadness it's then that he realizes what must've happened and surely enough Obi-wan jolts up in bed his eyes wide with terror and realization he throws himself urgently from the bed yelling for Nield to get up he's yanking on his coat and boots by the time that Nield has managed to get from the bedroom to the living room with a blanket wrapped around his shoulders his eyes wide with fear and horror "Ben?" he asks in an almost whisper.

Obi-wan rushes out of the door having grabbed his scabbard which held his sword. He gets to the edge of the cliff only to watch in horror as мир (Mir) is blown sky-high destroying all the peace and tranquility they'd worked so hard for, red starts to bleed back into the turquoise, grey eyes. (Oh god everyone thinks this is so much worse than anything we could've ever imagined he watched it get blown up, oh kriff thinks Anakin as he watches the eerie glowing crimson color overtake his master's usual turquoise grey eyes "somebody's gonna die" he says very matter of factly. This could be used to turn him thinks Palpatine gleefully whilst outwardly his displays a horrified facade "oh stars that's absolutely wretched").

"Nield stay in the house if anything else happens take the tunnels to the facility I'll meet you there I've just got somethings to do first," says Obi-wan firmly as he suits up in armor he hadn't touched in almost a year now he pulls on his new blood-red cloak with a white fluffy mantle [this was a sign of the triarchy Nields was blue, his was red and Cerasi's would've been green]. He adjusts the mantle on his shoulders slightly before moving towards his wall of weapons and grabbing his axe and strapping it to his back he then grabs his throwing knives and his multiple types of blasters and straps them all over his body in concealed areas. He attaches his scabbard around his waist as he stalks from the cabin rage evident in his blood-red crimson gaze. (oh they're so kriffed thinks Anakin, oh Obi-wan think Padme and Bail, we should've known better we should have sought to get him back here sooner think the Jedi. Oh, so many people are about to die I wonder how he'll do it thinks Palpatine gleefully).

Obi-wan summons his pack of force-bonded dragons, "ℸ ̣ ╎ᒲᒷ ⎓𝙹∷ ᔑリ𝙹ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ∷ ⍑⚍リℸ ̣ ᒲ|| ⎓∷╎ᒷリ↸ᓭ, ∴ᒷ'∷ᒷ ⊣𝙹╎リ⊣ ℸ ̣ 𝙹 ᒲᔑꖌᒷ ᓭ⚍∷ᒷ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ|| ᓭ⚍⎓⎓ᒷ∷ ⎓𝙹∷ ∴⍑ᔑℸ ̣ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ||'⍊ᒷ ╎リᓭℸ ̣ ╎⊣ᔑℸ ̣ ᒷ↸ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ|| ∴ᔑリℸ ̣ ᒷ↸ ᔑ ∴ᔑ∷ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ||'∷ᒷ ⊣𝙹リリᔑ ⊣ᒷℸ ̣ 𝙹リᒷ. (time for another hunt my friends, we're going to make sure they suffer for what they've instigated they wanted a war they're gonna get one that they'll never forget.) says Obi-wan in an eerie monotone voice his eyes glowing a bright unrelenting crimson as he gracefully mounts the saddle of one of his dragons and motions forward with his sword and the dragons launch up into the air. (oh stars think Padme and Bail, this is not going to end well thinks Anakin fully expecting the absolute worst to happen) The dragons have clearly caught onto a scent of one of the fleeing traitors and have communicated it to Obi-wan judging by the sinister glint in his crimson gaze and the bloodthirsty smirk that cuts across the lower half of his face. (oh kriff think the jedi that look never ends well, they remembered when it had been aimed at Xanatos when he called Obi-wan Blade, safe to say Xanatos never made that mistake again) Obi-wan and the dragons hunt this fleeing traitor into one of the many war torn cities they eventually corner him between a crumbling wall and a half destroyed building, the young adult cowers in the corner away from Obi-wan who currently makes a very menacing picture as he stalks towards said adult holding his sword his furious crimson red orbs narrowed into slits, he grabs the pleading young adult by the front of their shirt and smashes them harshly into the wall "I don't care for your pleas Kion" he snarls "what I want to know is where is Mawat traitor" he asks monotonely "There's a base in the woods on the outskirts of the Melida's main city if he's not there then he's in the base on the outskirts of the Daan's main city" Kion replies quickly not willing to loose his head to protect Mawat from a rage filled bloodthirsty Blade. "good enough" snarls Obi-wan dropping Kion to the floor like a sack of tubers. Obi-wan motions to two of his dragons and they fly off in opposite directions.

(One to the Melida base the other to the Daan base, thinks Anakin its a good plan thinks Palpatine begrudgingly that way his target can't flee without one of the dragons finding him) Obi-wan meanwhile has left one of his dragons in the city with Kion to make sure he doesn't run and now he is stalking through the nearby forest seeking out the other traitor axe in hand. He spots Giran running through the tree's and he chuckles darkly "Hey Giran did you know there's something called the hunt on Stewjon it was around before the old republic was even formed; before the sith and the Jedi had their first war, so its been around for a very long time... yeah It was a good way for Stewjonian's to handle their bloodlust" says an advancing Obi-wan crimson eyes glinting dangerously in the low light "N....No I...I didn't know of such a thing" stutters Giran jumping over a fallen tree "Now Stewjonians tend to have really good endurance and stamina" Obi-wan says almost conversationally as he walks slowly behind Giran like something from a nightmare "so during the hunt, they would be following prey that's really fast and the prey would like sprint and waste up all of their endurance and the Stewjonians would just.... they would just keep up through a steady unrelenting pace, just very slowly and steadily they'd just advance......" "w..w.....what does that mean exactly" stutters a fearful Giran through gasps of air as he runs frantically through the forest "Over time their prey would get more and more tired running out of energy and then well the hunt was over......" states Obi-wan matter of factly "isn't that interesting" says Obi-wan using a boost of speed to appear right behind Giran who swings around trying to punch him but instead hitting empty air "Stars stop...stop...STOP" yells Giran frantically his hands tangled into his tangled dark blonde hair eyes blown wide with fear and horror "I'm begging you stop....stop.....STOP!!!!" "are you feeling tired Giran," asks Obi-wan Montonely with a bloodthirsty smirk his crimson red eyes glinting as he stands in front of the 21-year-old clutching his axe, said 21 year old then passes out from the fear he was feeling and Obi-wan rolls his cold crimson eyes "well that was disappointing" he states aloud as he grabs Giran by the back of his shirt dragging the 21-year-old towards one of his nearby dragons "Guard him Icarus" he orders and a large midnight black scaled dragon with golden highlights on his wings, the crown of his head, his tail and underbelly. "Hirukura, Nemesis, Zephyrus, Itsaki, Katsuo regroup with the others and return to the facility" orders Obi-wan firmly "Make sure Theseus hasn't harmed Mawat too bad if they found him" the dragons incline their heads agreeing that they will keep Mawat alive even though Obi-wan can tell they would rather rip him apart at this point.

(Holy kriff thinks Anakin Obi-wan's utterly terrifying, what was that about a hunt on Stewjon thinks Palpatine with intrigue maybe that'll explain about the red eyes if its a normal species thing maybe it might even explain the whole immortal thing)

The scene swirls away again to reveal a slightly older Obi-wan with shaggy unruly short-ish auburn red hair that fell over his bright crimson red eyes he wore a white dress shirt with a black tie and black combat trousers under a familiar long brown trenchcoat, that had different patches stitched onto the arm sleeves. He also wore black fingerless combat gloves and his furry/fluffy white mantle with his blood-red cloak, this Obi-wan held something in his right hand. (No way thinks Anakin in shock, Ah this moment the Jedi in the room sigh they know exactly what's about to happen because Obi-wan had told them all about it during one of his distrustful, upset, and cynical rants, why does Kenobi have a detonation remote thinks Palpatine in confusion and intrigue, he looks healthier think Padme and Bail trying to think optimistically yet again.).

Obi-wan pushes the launch button on the remote, (Everyone watches in shock as a warhead launches from behind Obi-wan climbing quickly up into the sky until its just a white streak across the horizon) Other Obi-wan salutes the disappearing warhead with two fingers before he pulls out a datapad, which is clearly viewing one of the main Daan cities that had a couple hundred Daan elders in it currently who thought they were untouchable because of the defensive shields that kept out any sort of attack whether it be a speeder blasts or ballistic missiles, but what they hadn't planned for was somebody hacking the city mainframe and shutting down the shields from outside of the city because of this they believed it was just a glitch in the system so they weren't prepared for what was coming and Obi-wan was watching the city with cold indifferent eyes as the warhead collides with the city Obi-wan raises the shield again and locks it shut with a password meaning neither the explosion or the radiation can escape the city without Obi-wan's say so.

(WHAT THE KRIFFING HELL think Palpatine and Anakin in utter shock Did 14-year-old Obi-wan Kenobi just Nuke an entire city, Oh Obi-wan think Bail and Padme in horror. The Jedi in the room watch unsurprised with any and all emotion hidden behind tight shields because even though they'd had it explained and described to them it was quite a different experience to see it before their own eyes). Obi-wan knows the Melida had eyes on him so he looks up at the drone that just live videoed everything he did back to the Melida "consider that a warning or a threat I don't care which but stop coming after me and my own" he states cold eerie crimson red eyes narrowed threateningly "or that will be your fate" he says snapping around on his heel without another word stalking away from the drone and the shellshocked Melida elders on the other end.

The scene shifts again to reveal an unhinged manic Mawat holding a dagger against a restrained shaking Nield's throat "now Blade" he says harshly "you might not be able to die, but he certainly can and I'm sure you don't want that to happen right....." Obi wan's eyes are full of hate and fear "No" he snarls crimson red eyes glowing eerily "what do you want Mawat" "oh don't be like that Blade" says Mawat sacchrinely "all I want is a favour" Obi wan's eyes narrow into slits "and why in the hell after everything you've done to me and Nield do you believe I will help you" snarls Obi wan "I don't believe you'll help me....I know you'll help me because you don't want your one remaining friend to suffer right" he says threateningly pressing the dagger into Nield's throat causing him to bleed from a small cut "fine says Obi wan hurriedly "just let Nield go" he requests softly "yeah I'm not stupid Blade you'll get your friend back when you've fufilled your end of the bargin" orders Mawat as he shoves Nield into the waiting arms of those loyal to him "lock him in his house and don't take your eyes off of him for a second" he orders "Blade with me" he orders sharply Obi wan complies though in his gaze it was obvious he would rather do anything but that.

(smart plan thinks Palpatine use his one precious connection against him, after everything he's gone through he won't let another friend die if he can prevent it, it's a solid manipulation he thinks. That kriffing Sleemo snarls Anakin feeling his blood boil at the sight of Mawat using Obi wan's final emotional connection against him, that manipulative son of a !@?*$~#?%**!!! thinks Bail his built-up anger finally getting through his mask of cool composure and optimism, damn him thinks Padme fury and tears burning in her chocolate brown orbs goddess damn him. The Jedi in the room are pale but there is a righteous fury building behind their shields most of it towards Mawat who was manipulating and hurting an already traumatized Obi-wan but another large part of it was towards Qui gon who'd lied to their faces and told them that Obi-wan had left the order for a girl when he'd actually been abandoned and left to suffer all because he wanted to save some suffering children from a civil war that wasn't even his to fight, they were upset and disappointed Qui gon should've sent for back up at the very first sign that children were being forced to fight and choose sides, but instead Qui gon had prioritized the life of Tahl over the lives of the children. and Obi-wan had suffered needlessly for his selfishness.)

Obi-wan followed behind Mawat who led him into a hastily prepared war room the young adult (Mawat was 19 almost 20) had clearly captured Nield as a desperate last-ditch attempt against the Melida and the Daan because if he could get Blade on his side then his chance of winning the war increased exponentially but so did the likelihood that he would die but he'd decided he would rather die than give up the power he'd amassed. Mawat brings Obi-wan to his weapons and armour "right Blade you've got two options it's simple all you have to do is finish what you started and end this war or bring me one of your weapons that will get everyone to surrender. Obi-wan freezes up he could either go back on his promise to himself that he wouldn't have to fight again or give Mawat access to weapons of mass destruction, neither scenario was one Obi-wan wanted to contemplate but one was slightly less detrimental to the entire planet so it looks like Obi-wan had to make an impossible choice as he was literally stuck between a rock and a hard place "fine, you'll have one of your requests" he snarls crimson eyes glowing eerily as he armours up and collects his weapons before moving to leave the base. (he's not going to obey just like that thinks Palpatine noticing the spark of defiance in Obi wan's gaze, my masters too stubborn to just give in like that thinks Anakin desperately) "oh and Blade in case you needed a little incentive," he said pulling up a screen that showed Nield's home which was guarded on all corners and clearly rigged to blow if something unauthorized set the traps off "Nield will remain in his home which could blow at any moment until you've completed your mission" (No everyone but Palpatine thinks. Smart plan thinks Palpatine, but when they both eventually get free you're going to have a problem called you have no bargaining chip anymore)

The scene shifts once more to reveal a much bloodier manic Obi-wan clutching dual swords who glares into Mawats eyes as its revealed that the missile he'd brought him was a dud and he goes to blow the house only to find Nield arriving with a team of the remaining young and some of the defected adults and elders behind him his own men had been restrained and he was surrounded but he couldn't lose now after everything, he sees Zero who'd been commissioned to convert one of the old buildings into a sort of prison which was meant to end up holding Ben who was supposed to get all the blame for the continued war and Mawat was meant to get off scot-free and gain all the power he wanted. It wasn't meant to be him getting cuffed and led towards the prison Zero had decided to name the Vault (because It has been created from the damaged remains of a bank vault) he wasn't supposed to lose to the tattered traumatized remains of the triarchy. But that damned Blade had bested him and now he was being shoved into a place where he would never be able to reach him again, the ties of his manipulation had been cut and Mawat knew at this moment that he was completely and utterly powerless.

(good thinks Anakin savagely you deserved that you manipulative sleemo, nobody uses Obi-wan like that and doesn't suffer consequences. It's a shame thinks Palpatine he could've solved a lot of my future problems if he'd just succeeded in trapping Kenobi in that worst-case scenario of having to choose between his morals or the life of his only friend.)

The scene swirls once more to reveal an exhausted and disheveled Nield and an unkempt, haggard and ensanguined Obi-wan, sitting on the back steps of what must've been a repurposed building that the young took over towards the end of the war, now it likely was being used as the base of the planets new government. Both Nield and Obi-wan were wearing their Triarch cloaks now. Nield sighs "do you think it's over now" "I'd like to think this is the end" says Obi wan tired turquoise eyes meeting tired brown "because If something else starts up I might genuinely get stuck in beserker mode for an undetermined amount of time which can only end badly" says Obi wan unruly long-ish auburn red hair blowing in the breeze "wait you can get stuck like that" says Nield worriedly "yeah if I get to a certain point with the bloodlust, it becomes more permenant in its physical changes; If I'd spent even a couple more days in that state my eyes may have been permenantly marked with red, which would be difficult to explain to others as it isn't a typical human or near human feature and the longer you stay in that state the more it changes you both physically and mentally" admits Obi wan. "huh, who knew" says Nield "well if we have our way you won't have to use it again" he says firmly as he reaches out and takes Obi wan's hands into his own "you won't have to fight ever again unless you want to Ben" vows Nield seriously looking deep into Obi wan's eyes, Obi wan nods "I believe you" he responds "I just hope that it doesn't come down to fighting again if we can help it" he says softly "it won't" promises Nield vehemently.

The familiar voice of Zero calls through the building "Nield Ben it's time, their leaders are here and they've agreed to sign the peace treaty and lay down their arms, we're not gonna get another chance like this" he says seriously. Nield pulls himself and Obi-wan to their feet and walks through the old building, he squeezes Obi-wan's hand comfortingly as they both walk out onto the stage that had been built for this occasion. Nield took his place on the podium with Obi-wan directly beside him holding his hand as Nield begins the speech he'd written for this occasion.

"We've all been gathered to see to it that we can fully put the sins of the past behind us". "We as children have known naught but this war for all of our lives and its been my goal since the very beginning to put an end to it permanently". "For the longest time I believed that the peace my dearest friend so desired would be impossible to reach, but its finally within our reach", "because today our voices will be heard, today we will not be shunned or ignored, today the will and hopes of MelidaDaan's children will be recognized by all". "We will not be pushed around or used anymore we will have the unity and tranquility that we've fought so long and hard for". "and to those who couldn't be here we acknowledge your sacrifice and we will honour your names so you will always be remembered as those who forged the path of peace, your deaths weren't in vain we only wish that you could've all been here for this moment". "And to everyone else We aren't soldiers, generals, mercanaries, leaders, warriors or puppets for someone else to use then throw away we were and are still children and this war never should've been ours to fight nor end but we did it, this hard earned peace was reached by us and we've sacrificed so much for it". "it's my hope that we children won't have to ever take up arms again nor bare the burden of a one sided war, as long as I live this is how it will be". "we've sacrificed so much for this peace and we will not loose it, we will not be threatened and backed into a corner again, if you push us we will push back this time; we're not as helpless as we once were" finishes Nield firmly stepping back from the podium.

Still clutching Obi wan's hand they both watch as the leading elders of both the Melida and the Daan sign the peace treaty and they breathe out sighs of relief it was over it was finally over. They were virtually giddy with joy as they were led away by their defense squad back towards the temporary building of the new government of MelidaDaan. They flop down onto the nearest two-person seat, almost instantly falling asleep from exhaustion. They curl around each other protectively, their dreams and minds for once blissfully silent and peaceful. If they'd stayed awake for a few more seconds they would've seen a white light shimmer into existence revealing Cerasi as a spirit hovering over them with a proud smile "thank you Ben Nield" her echoing lilting soft voice says in an almost whisper.

Their Obi-wan watches on with tears in his eyes "we win" he says in an almost whisper "yes" responds the force "these are the memories of your future self" Obi-wan looks absolutely elated. Nobody had thought that maybe this Obi-wan might be from a different part of the timeline. "wait you're not from after the war" asks Anakin shocked "no" replies their Obi-wan "I'm from after the destruction of мир (Mir)" he replies quietly," when specifically" inquires Anakin concerned. "During that period of time that Mawat had Nield and was using him against me" admits Obi-wan quietly. Oh, kriff thinks Anakin no wonder he was so relieved he's come from literally the worst-case scenario and he finds that despite all the odds he still manages to win in the end it must be so much weight off of his shoulders if only for a moment.

The scene then falls away back to the Chancellor's office revealing an individual dressed in an all-black undersuit with armour and a black half cape and black knee-high lace-up boots they had long-ish partially braided red hair and they wore a black mask with red details that hid their face from sight they carried dual swords and in fact, those dual swords looked very familiar to Anakin; "Obi-wan" he inquires softly. The mask is pushed up and to the side and Anakin meets dull turquoise grey eyes with faint flecks of red in the irises and a young face covered in light faint scarring this is Obi-Wan after the war for MelidaDaan the force whispers to Anakin what happened to him he asks mentally, the force almost sighs Qui gon Jinn's former apprentice Xanatos Du Crion who had turned to the dark at the end of his padawan-ship with Qui gon who had been responsible for one of the first traumatizing off coruscant experiences Obi-wan had, which was inquires Anakin angrily he sold him as a slave to the deep sea mines on Bandomeer. Anakin's eye widened with shock and filled with deep rage so this all happened before MelidaDaan, yes replies the force so when Obi-wan heard that Xanatos had hunted him down in the hopes of hurting Qui gon he fled MelidaDaan in the hopes that the other would follow him keeping his attachments alive and Xanatos thankfully did. Anakin sighs with relief at least Nield and the others were safe but he could tell this was going to be another dark point in Obi wan's life.
