“Tommy,” Tubbo began with a large smile. “You’re alive!” Tubbo exclaimed as tears pricked his eyes. Tubbo knew the whole thing was just a really cruel joke! Though, even though he knew, Tubbo didn’t have it in him to be upset at Tommy.
Tommy then turned to look at Tubbo and Tubbo felt his breath hitch in his throat. He—Tommy didn’t look like himself.
And if that wasn’t worse enough. . . Tommy uttered something that made Tubbo’s heart shatter.
“Who are you?“

Tommy is killed by Dream whilst in the prison and he isn’t able to get revived in time, leaving Tubbo and Ranboo with the ghost of Tommy - who likes to be called ‘GhostInnit’ - whose memories consist of things that scared him when he was alive.
And not only does the server have to deal with the ghost of a boy they all thought would never die, but Sam has to deal with Dream’s consistent lies that he’s able to revive Tommy.
Or. . . at least Sam thinks it’s a lie.
