Chapter Text
His mission in Liyue is simple. Observe the movements of the Liyue Qixing. Look after the Northland Bank branch. Oversee the Dottore's experimentation of Ruin Guards.
Find Rex Lapis.
He isn't given any permission to snatch the Geo Archon's Gnosis, so as soon as Childe steps on the wooden pier of Liyue, he goes straight to the city to look around.
Liyue is certainly different from his home country. It's warm and you can see the sun in the sky, a big contrast to Snezhnaya’s where it's always cold and in perpetual darkness.
Already he's liking Liyue. Childe stretches his arms and cracks a few joints. He's been stuck on the sea for three days, and he's itching to do some exercise.
But before that, he looks around the food stalls. A warrior like him cannot fight on an empty stomach, so he has to fill his stomach with hopefully good food.
He spots a meat bun stall and orders two, enough to sate his hunger. The lady gives him his food and he takes a bite out of it.
Definitely delicious.
With a paper bag in one arm and a meat bun on his other, Childe continues to look around Liyue. He notices that there's a lot of people with secondary genders here and silently thanks himself for taking his suppressors. All he smells is the salty sea breeze.
A stall catches his attention, although for a different reason.
"Xiansheng, you can't pay me with Cor Lapis…! I only accept Mora as payment for my wares!"
"I-Is that so? I apologize, but is it possible to put it on my Boss' tab? Unfortunately, my wallet is not with me so I can't pay you right now."
"Tab? Xiansheng, I think you have to leave. You can't pay, and I don't allow people to scam me."
Childe steps in and flashes a smile at the seller. "Ah, wait! How much does this gentleman owe you, mister? I'm kind of his friend, so I don't mind paying for him."
The seller raises an eyebrow. "Kind of his friend? Tch, as a friend you should tell him to bring his wallet!"
"Haha, of course of course! Now how much does he owe you?"
The seller sighs and glances at the other man. "This xiansheng bought a bouquet of Glaze Lilies, so it'll be 50,000 Mora," he says, crossing his arms. Childe whips out a bag of Mora and places it in front of the seller.
"Would this be enough?"
The seller's eyes glimmer as he takes in the hefty amount of Mora in the pouch. He grins at Childe and enthusiastically nods. "Yes, yes! The exact amount too! Thank you for your patronage, gentlemen!"
Childe scoffs. This man is a crook. I gave him 70,000 Mora and yet he says it's the exact amount.
The man beside him tugs at his sleeve and the Harbinger turns to look at him. Speaking of which, he hasn't gotten a good look at the guy yet, huh.
"Thank you, kind gentleman. This bouquet is very important, so I'm really grateful that you helped me pay for it."
Under the sun, the man's face is perfectly framed. His eyes are sharp and yet bright, and his overall figure is slim and tall. His face is stern, but Childe can see that there’s a small smile on his lips.
But when he sniffs the air for the man’s secondary gender, he notices a faint smell of the earth.
Childe grins and waves his hand dismissively. “It’s fine, mister. You can always pay me back another time.”
The man holds out his hand and tilts his head to the side, a small smile on his face. “I go by the name Zhongli. You don’t seem like a local, are you perhaps from Snezhnaya?”
The Harbinger chuckles and shakes Zhongli’s hand quite firmly. “Haha, is it because of my clothes? Ah, call me Childe!”
Zhongli nods, and his face is schooled back to his normal face. “You mentioned paying you back, right? Would it be okay if we were to meet in Wanmin Restaurant in two days? I’ll remember to bring my wallet this time.”
Childe laughs. “Of course, xiansheng. I’m pretty stoked to try out the local dishes of Liyue anyway. It’ll probably taste better with a beauty like you accompanying me.” He winks. However, Zhongli doesn’t blush. He just blinks his amber eyes.
Ah, this will be interesting.
The process of falling for a person is unfamiliar with Childe.
Of course, he’s heard stories from his parents. Stories of how they fell for each other and how his father used to visit her at dead of night were the norm when he was younger. He still remembered them, of course, especially after they kept repeating them over and over again.
But personally, Childe didn’t fall for anyone else before. Love was a foreign concept to him. Besides the ones from his parents, some Fatui colleagues have also retold their own stories. Not that he was interested much, since he was busy trying to prove his worth to Pulcinella.
Several people in his travels have expressed interest in him, but he was technically married to his job so he paid no mind.
But now…
Now, he’s very interested in the concept of love. How does one feel love? When do you suppose you’re in love?
Either way, Childe is starting to feel something for Zhongli. He isn’t sure if it’s love, but yes, he knows he’s catching something for the other.
Sitting on a chair with a Liyuen book on his face, Childe sighs. Beside him is Ekaterina.
“Hey, how do you know if you’re in love?”
“Boss, are you drunk? Do you want some water? Maybe fresh air might help you--”
Childe removes the book from his face and gives Ekaterina an amused look. “This is the first time I heard you make a joke,” he comments. Ekaterina shakes her head and sighs.
“No, but we’ve worked with you for five months now. You’re practically married to your job, so hearing the word ‘love’ from your mouth is surprising, to say the least, Boss,” she deadpans. The Harbinger chuckles and stands up,
“Hey, hey I’m still a human too, you know!”
Ekaterina rolls her eyes, but there’s a smile on her face. “Sure, Boss. Being in love suits you, so keep that up. It makes all our jobs easier.”
He pouts, a hand on his chest. “Ow, you’re calling me a tyrant! Am I that scary?”
Ekaterina chooses not to answer but shoos him away. Childe grins and skips out of Northland Bank in a pleasant mood.
Today, he’ll go and roam around Minlin. The Ruin Guards there will recognize him as a friend of Dottore, so he’ll have an easier time overseeing his colleague’s work. He’s not sure why he has to, but Childe suspects that Dotorre is up to something.
He shrugs. Fatui's internal affairs never really interested him. All he wants is to fight strong enemies.
And perhaps, see a certain man again.
He spends a good few hours looking at the stupid clunky and lanky robots, taking note of their behavior. No Fatui are around during his time in the laboratory and in Minlin, except for the occasional Treasure Hunters.
Tomorrow, he’s going to spend lunch and dinner with Zhongli.
The thought of spending time with the other excites him. Zhongli has been a good friend so far, and despite not knowing whether he has a secondary gender, Childe would still like him.
Though, if he is Rex Lapis as his instincts scream, then things would definitely be different.
Very
Very
Different.
As Childe walks back to Liyue Harbor, he sees a certain figure in the corner of his eyes. There’s a good distance between them both, and he wants to go and yell out his name but--
He stops.
Childe hides behind a wall and listens closely to Zhongli and the old lady he was helping. The first part of their conversation is a small chat; the old lady asking how Zhongli is and how his job has been.
The last part of their chat, however…
When the old lady says her goodbyes, she says: “Anyway, I think this old lady has bothered enough of such a busy Alpha like you. You must have work to do, right?”
“I do, but nonetheless I missed talking to you. It was no bother for me, I assure you.”
The old lady cackles. “Alright, if you say so. See you soon, Zhongli!”
Childe looks away from them and staggered away, back to Northland Bank and to his room. He sits down on his bed and looks at his palms, mind replaying what the old lady said.
Alpha.
Alpha.
Alpha.
Alpha.
Zhongli is an Alpha.
Suddenly, he laughs. He laughs so hard that he tilts his head back. They erupt from his chest and escape his lips, loud enough to be heard outside.
His entire world shifts.
Childe smiles, a hand covering half of his face. Things are certainly becoming different.
When given a task or a mission by the Tsaritsa, Childe is always determined to see it to its end. He would have this sort of tunnel vision, focusing so much on the mission and ignoring everything else.
This is the reason why people like to say that he's married to his job.
He shrugs at those words. The Tsaritsa knows him well, so every mission has something in it for him. A strong monster. An ambush. Even stronger enemies.
If he is to be asked what’s his favorite part of a mission, it would be the final boss. It always gives him a challenge, something he rarely gets.
This mission that the Tsaritsa sent him on is already proving to be better than any other mission he's been sent out.
From the start, he's already finding it a challenge for him. From trying to crack Zhongli to figuring out how feelings work, it sends a shiver of excitement down his spine.
What else will this mission offer him?
Will the mission end with an exciting fight? An argument between him and Zhongli? Betrayal? Shocking revelations?
Childe whistles as he looks up at the sky. He's relaxing underneath a tree, waiting for a certain someone to come by.
It's his relaxation day after observing (again) Dotorre's clunky robots and overseeing Fatui work. It's stressful but less stressful than dealing with his Harbinger colleagues back in Snezhnaya.
Back there, he has to be on his toes and alert of his surroundings. You may never know where and when you will be targeted by any of your colleague's schemes.
Childe sighs. Scheming is one of his dislikes. He has no desire to plan elaborate schemes at all.
What he truly desires is a challenge, and mind games aren't his thing. He wants physical challenges; things that would stimulate his senses and exercise his body. He wants to feel the rush of adrenaline coursing through his body.
Childe wants—
"Childe? Have you been waiting long?"
The Harbinger stands up and grins. "Nope, not at all! I don't mind waiting for you."
Zhongli gives him one of his rare smiles. "I see. Well, I shall lead you to where we're supposed to go," he says. Childe hums and follows him, his grin still on his face.
His blue eyes follow down the curve of his friend's back, settling on his plump behind.
He comes to a realization: Childe wants Zhongli.
But their secondary genders are a problem. In their society, the most common and widely accepted type of relationships were Alphas and Omegas. Omegas and Betas were also a thing, as well as Betas and Alphas, but an Alpha and Alpha together?
Childe taps his chin absentmindedly while following Zhongli. He's so deep in his thoughts that he bumps into the other's well-defined back as he stops walking.
They're in a large flat field, large enough for a—
Childe jumps back and gives a good distance between them both. He whips out his twin Hydro daggers and smirks.
"To finally have a battle between xiansheng and I… I've been waiting for this moment!"
Zhongli says nothing but he materializes a polearm in his hand. He twirls it around his fingers, amber eyes never leaving him.
Childe tilts his head in a slight nod. "It's an honor to be able to fight with you, Zhongli- xiansheng. And here I thought we'll just have a cute picnic and eat together," he says, a playful smile dancing on his lips.
Zhongli offers him a small smile. "I apologize for disappointing you then. I hope this simple spar would be enough to make up for you, Childe."
The Harbinger laughs and shakes his head. "This is way better than a picnic!" he shouts, surging forward.
They fight. Their weapons clash together, resounding throughout the wide field. At first, the Harbinger was holding back, but then when he saw his opponent’s eyes steel with determination, he stopped holding back and went all out.
To any outsider, it seems like both were out for each other’s neck just by looking at their facial expressions, but to Childe, he’s having the time of his life.
To him, Zhongli is the most challenging opponent he ever had, besides the other Harbingers. There’s grace to his every move as if he’s dancing, but every thrust and kick he made is imbued with power.
Raw but restrained power.
He isn’t a chatty opponent either, something Childe liked. He hates enemies that babbled and wasted their spit on their words, trying their best to get in his mind. He wants enemies that fought with everything they had— to focus on him.
Seeing how determined and how strong he was…
Childe loved it.
Zhongli is every bit of a perfect Alpha.
And he hates it.
Things become worse for Childe, ever since he had a spar with Zhongli.
For his feelings, that is.
He has established that he does, in fact, have some sort of attraction towards the other. It eats at him, looking at Zhongli who he looks forward to meeting every day. He feels his cold heart thump loudly in his heart whenever he shows him his pretty smile and his warm amber eyes.
He finds himself wishing to ditch his responsibilities and hang out with him. Zhongli makes him feel things he hasn’t felt before, and he’s gravitating towards him.
It’s like he’s the sun, and Childe couldn’t help but feel the pull towards him.
Although there are times when he really cannot ditch his job. Sure, he can probably slack off a bit with the papers in Northland Bank, but when it comes to finding clues about the Geo Archon, it is his utmost priority.
Whenever that happens though, he returns to his room feeling giddy because Ekaterina tells him that Zhongli was looking for him. And he even visited Northland Bank!
It’s enough to make him look like a lovestruck idiot for the next day.
But now, he feels like his feelings aren’t just merely attraction. Perhaps there is… something else.
However, the Harbinger still knows that his feelings, whatever they may be, aren’t exactly pure. Sure, he likes Zhongli but he likes it better if he’s bent over and calling his name with his sinful voice.
Maybe it would be better if his lips are stretched to accommodate his shaft, eyes shining with unshed tears because he cannot take him in one go.
Childe let his lips curl into a smirk while he absentmindedly stamped another paper. The image of Zhongli hidden under his desk, trying his best to quietly suck his cock while Childe is talking with a colleague appears in his mind. It stays there, even while he talks to Ekaterina.
He couldn’t even look at the empty space under his desk without seeing Zhongli underneath.
Needless to say, Childe goes back to his room to jerk one off as the mental image of his earlier daydream haunts him.
Although his daydreams don't end there.
Every day, his mind finds ways to torture him. When his eyes accidentally look at his friend’s plump ass, his traitor of a mind couldn’t help itself and conjure an image of Zhongli’s bare ass.
Then it escalates. Sometimes it’s him spreading his cheeks and revealing his tight hole and other times it’s him wrapping a hand around his hard cock, looking at him from under his eyelashes with a coy smile.
Even his hand can’t help him. He might just tug off his dick with all these mental images his mind is conjuring up.
However, when his traitorous mind makes up a scenario where Zhongli is fingering himself, Childe immediately snaps out of his thoughts when imaginary Zhongli cries—
“I-I’m too tight, Childe… my Alpha hole will rip if you f-fuck me.”
His hand around his dick tightens, its pace quickening. He can already imagine how heavenly it would feel when Zhongli’s Alpha walls squeeze him tight, trying to milk him for all he’s worth.
If only his cum would fertilize Zhongli’s womb. If only his semen could be taken . If only he could knot him and fill him up again and again. If only he could get him pregnant with their pups—
Childe bites back a groan, spilling into his hand. He slumps against his chair, boneless.
If only Zhongli is an Omega.
Perhaps there is a way to turn an Alpha into an Omega.
Childe absentmindedly twirls his pen, looking out the window. There’s still a stack of paperwork waiting for him, but his mind is occupied with the thought of how do I make Zhongli the perfect and breedable Omega?
Sure, his mannerisms are of an Alpha, but that ass and his face? Definitely not for an Alpha. Childe can already imagine Zhongli as an Omega; hips curved enough to deliver their pups and his hole slick enough to easily enter him. The Harbinger shakes his head, getting his head out of the gutter.
Bottom line is, if he wants to do anything with Zhongli, he has to be an Omega. Not that he doesn’t want to fuck him as an Alpha, but he rather not have a fight with him in bed about who gets to top.
And there is also his other assignment.
To locate the Geo Archon. Find Rex Lapis—
Childe frowns. Find him and then what? The Tsaritsa had only told him to find him, but what is he supposed to do when he does? Let him go? Rip out his Gnosis and hand it to his Archon?
He stops twirling his pen and grabs a piece of paper. A vague missive requires elaboration, so Childe writes a note addressed to the Tsaritsa, asking her what he shall do when he finds Rex Lapis.
Before he sends it, however, his mind goes back to the topic of how he will turn Zhongli into an Omega. He pauses and then grabs another piece of paper.
He may dislike the man, but Dotorre is smart and he’s been conducting experiments on secondary genders the last time he visited his laboratory.
Perhaps he may know something.
Sadly, Dotorre’s reply comes later than the Tsaritsa's reply.
Steal his Gnosis and render him useless. You may do whatever with him once you get his Gnosis.
“So, how does it feel—”
Childe grits his teeth and huffed, “Shut the fuck up. You just came here waltzing in, high and mighty as if you did any work.”
La Signora rolls her eyes. “Don’t be so salty, Tartaglia. It’s not your fault the Tsaritsa doesn’t trust you enough to get Rex Lapis’ Gnosis. You’re still young, kid.”
He doesn’t rise to the bait and instead mutters curses under his breath. La Signora laughs and walks off. “The Tsaritsa gives you a month to complete the rest of your mission, Tartaglia. I hope you find a creative way to finish it.”
Childe bitterly kicks a loose pebble on the ground. All of the hard work he made just to uncover the Geo Archon was rendered useless when the Traveler came by, disrupting all of his carefully laid plans.
He was forced to use his Delusion in the Golden House, awakened Osial just to grab Rex Lapis’ attention, and yet in the end the Traveler stopped his plans and La Signora got the Gnosis because of the Tsaritsa’s deal with Zhongli.
Zhongli, who was Rex Lapis, the man he had feelings for.
The man he lusted for.
His amber eyes that were once warm and inviting became cold and distant, especially as he explained himself in the presence of the Traveler. He calmly explained that everything was according to plan, and that he wanted this to happen so that he could see if Liyue could stand on her own without him.
Childe clicks his tongue, frustrated. He held his tongue in front of everyone else, wanting to ask how about what we’ve gone through?
Was our friendship a lie as well?
Thinking of it makes his head hurt more, adding to the humiliation he experienced a few moments ago. Childe goes to the fields, downing pesky Hilichurls and Treasure Hoarders to take his anger out. It surprisingly works (as always), and by the time he’s covered in blood and whatever substance Hilichurls are made of, he’s panting and his headache is gone.
He goes back to Northland Bank, clothes drenched in blood and sweat. The people on the streets give him a dirty look and back off from him, a stark difference from their welcoming and kind attitudes before he unleashed Osial.
Childe thinks he deserves it.
It comes to his surprise though when he sees Zhongli standing by the doors of the bank, eyes looking at a distance. He faces him when he comes to view and Childe could see his tensed shoulders.
His headache may be gone, but the bitterness in his heart remains.
He tries to move past him, but the former Archon grabs his blood-drenched sleeve and tugs at it. Childe raises an eyebrow.
“I-I… I came to apologize.”
Childe scoffs. He tugs his arm away and enters the bank, slamming the door at his face. The anger resurfaces again, but he restrains himself from lashing out. Childe is better than this.
He removes all of his dirty clothes and showers. The Harbinger changes into a loose shirt and baggy pants, leaving his laundry at the door for his subordinates to clean.
Childe is already thinking of hitting the hay, but a chirp from his window stops his head from hitting his pillow. He gently grabs the rolled paper from its leg and unfurls it.
It’s from Dottore.
Dearest Tartaglia,
I’m glad you’re starting to see the beauty of my research. You always seem to want to destroy my laboratory. Regarding your question, of course there is a way. I’m not going into a very detailed explanation, since it’s practically easy.
One way I discovered was to inseminate the Alpha. I hope you know what that means, right? You’re not a child anymore, so I trust you’re making decisions that would not harm the Tsaritsa or her Harbingers in the future.
In simpler and cruder terms, just fuck them. Your semen should be virile enough to cause a transformation, especially since you’re still young. The change should happen within a few weeks, give or take. With your virile semen, I suspect inseminating them thrice or four times should be enough to make them an Omega.
You owe me for this, Tartaglia. Good luck with whatever you’re planning.
The Dottore.
So he’s childish, sue him. At least he’s living up to his name.
Childe is definitely avoiding Zhongli, despite his mission that involves rendering the former Archon useless for any future plans. He rejects all of his invitations to eat lunch or dinner, and speed walks past any of their hangout places.
Thankfully, his little brother comes by and he takes him around the harbor. He does scold him for getting stowed away in a random ship, but little Teucer’s puppy eyes are too strong for him to handle.
When he comes back to his brother with candied fruit in his hand, he tugs at his pants and points at something. “Brother, there’s a man getting scolded by a lady. He looks really sad…”
Lo and behold, it’s Zhongli getting verbally scolded by an angry seller again. Childe sighs a small smile on his face and brings Teucer to him.
“—don’t try to fool me, xiansheng! You definitely don’t seem poor, especially with clothes like those—!”
Childe saunters in with a grin and places a bag of Mora on her outstretched palms. “Aiya, please forgive my friend here! He’s really a forgetful one, you know haha. Is this enough for whatever he bought?”
The lady stops shouting and eyes the bag of Mora. She quickly pockets it away and huffs. “What a lucky man you are, xiansheng. Go, go! You already paid, so scram!”
They leave the stall, Teucer silently looking at the handsome fellow they just rescued. He looks at Childe and then at the man, before tugging at the man’s pants.
“Teucer—!”
Zhongli pauses and looks at Teucer, a smile on his face. “Your brother, I presume?” he asks, not looking at Childe. The Harbinger nods, giving his younger brother a pointed look. Teucer ignores it and tugs at Zhongli’s pants again.
“H-Hello...” he shyly says. “A-Are you… mister Zhongli, who my Big Brother always talks about in his letters?”
Childe sputters. “Hey—!”
The former Archon chuckles and brings Teucer in his arms, carrying him like he’s as light as a feather. Teucer giggles and hugs his neck.
“I didn’t know he wrote about me.”
Childe glowers at Zhongli, his eyes telling the other to shut up, but the latter ignores him like his younger brother. The Harbinger pouts. “Can’t believe both of you are ganging up on me!”
The two of them share a look and then giggle, eyes turning into crescents. Childe huffs, but Zhongli pats his shoulder. Blue eyes meet amber, and the coldness he once saw on the day of his humiliation is gone.
Again, it’s warm. Like before everything else.
He could feel warmth crawling down his neck. It’s as if nothing happened between them.
Childe looks away. The bitterness in his heart is still there.
It doesn't come to his surprise when Zhongli tries to invite him again to eat.
Although this time, Childe accepts it. He hasn't fully forgiven him, since his pride was hurt. His pride has been his number one shield against everything the world has to throw against him.
The place they agreed to meet at is Liuli Pavillion, where Zhongli reserved a room for them. He's not sure how he got the money for it, considering that Hu Tao barely pays him and instead has him as her caretaker.
Well, as long as he's paying.
By the time he gets there, Zhongli is already by the table, sipping a cup of tea. Once he sees the Harbinger, he stands up and gives him a smile.
Childe doesn't return the smile.
The smile on Zhongli's face falls. He goes back to sit down, his mood dampened significantly. Childe scoffs and sits down. He doesn't grab any of the sweets laid in front of him, nor does he get a cup of hot tea.
"You think it's that easy for me to forgive someone who humiliated me and made me look like an absolute idiot?"
Zhongli shakes his head. "I know, and I'm sorry Childe. However, Liyue is my first and foremost priority. I was their Archon, and my responsibility is to them—everything else is secondary."
"So the times we hung out are a lie too? Was our entire friendship part of your grand plan?" the bitterness seeps into his voice, and it garners an immediate reaction out of the former Archon.
Zhongli vehemently shakes his head, slightly rising in his seat. "Of course not! When I decided to descend, I resigned myself to just aimlessly spending time around Liyue as Zhongli, a mortal working in a funeral parlor…"
The former Archon sits back down, hands clasped in front of him. Childe notices him slightly trembling, and he wants to place a hand above his tightly clasped hands, but he stops himself from doing anything.
Instead, he stares at Zhongli with his most unimpressed look. That makes the latter wilt a bit, but he continues. "But then you came. The Tsaritsa only told me about La Signora's involvement, not yours. You were… an unexpected variable in my plan."
"And I didn't mind it at all. I found myself liking your company… It was refreshing to have someone actually listen to what I rambled about. People tend to snooze or change topics, but you…?"
Zhongli looks at his clasped hands, a tentative smile on his face. "You listened to me and gave time for me. I had a feeling you cared, at least even a bit and that was enough for me. Having you around felt selfish because I knew the Tsaritsa had a plan for you."
"I couldn't help but try to keep you all to myself…"
The Harbinger couldn't help but ask, "This is my first time seeing such a subservient Alpha. Are you sure you're an Alpha, Rex Lapis?"
Zhongli bristles at the title. "P-Please don't call me that… I am no longer Rex Lapis. I am just Zhongli. And to answer your question, yes I am an Alpha. Rex Lapis is an Alpha, but I had the choice whether I should retain my secondary gender or not. I chose to retain it since I believe it may come in handy in the future."
Childe hums, blue eyes digging holes into the other. Zhongli squirms under his intense gaze, and the Harbinger couldn't help but grin.
"Would you do anything to be forgiven?"
Zhongli looks to meet Childe's eyes. There's a flash of hesitation in them, but it vanishes. The former Archon digs his perfectly manicured nails into his palms.
"...That depends."
Childe's intense gaze doesn't falter. His grin widens. "So if I say that I'll break into your house and fuck you while you sleep, will you let me do that?"
Zhongli lets out a growl, amber eyes glowing. He bares his teeth, but Childe doesn't move an inch, not even threatened by the show of dominance.
Then, Zhongli realizes what he's done and clasps his mouth shut. The Harbinger wickedly grins inward, knowing that Zhongli's Alpha is obviously displeased with his proposition.
But he carries the power— right here and right now. He is superior to him, and his own Alpha howls in delight.
Of course, Zhongli has a choice not to agree with what he said. But the pressure and the pheromones he's exuding are enough to make any other Alpha cower in his presence, especially an Alpha who doesn't seem to be one.
A subservient Alpha like Zhongli… definitely deserves to be an Omega.
A moment passes until Zhongli speaks up, this time his face is filled with determination. "Then... I consent."
Childe laughs, throwing his head back. He runs a palm down his cheek in disbelief. Why is this man so eager to keep him by his side?
Doesn't he realize that indulging Childe will change him forever?
Zhongli bites his lip. He places a hand on Childe's right hand, and he squeezes it. Childe looks at him, wondering what prompted him to do that.
"I… I also will let you do whatever you want. Just...be gentle, please. It's my first time…"
The face the former Archon is displaying is downright beautiful. A shy and blushing Alpha is such a rare sight. Alphas are supposed to be strong and tough, not shy and meek.
Childe smirks, intertwining both their fingers together. "Oh, Zhongli-xiansheng. You're so beautiful, you know that? A beauty like yours can only belong to an Omega."
Yes… this man will certainly be his Omega. He will see to it that he will make him one, and Childe is sure that he'll thank him for it.
