Utterly wonderful fixit, expert use of the Sentinel/Guide trope and a well-plotted and executed story to boot! While some characters had radical shifts in behavior, each one was justified and quite believable. There is a fantastic thread of Magic woven into the story that is enchanting, in the classical sense of the word. Good to read, and to re-read.
It is a complete story in itself, yet still left me yearning. I so hope that sometime the author’s Muse will prompt them to more!
