Their Little Star

Summary:

Just another story where Gregory meets the Daycare Attendant first, but different. Sun and Moon seemed to not want their little Star to leave.

_________________________________________

Sun and Moon take over the spot for Freddy. Slightly Yandere Sun and Moon! Homeless and/or Animatronic Gregory! Moon isn't affected by the virus.

Chapter 1

Notes:

So. I want to say this now. SUN AND MOON ARE GOING TO PARENTAL YANDERES! Meaning, not crazy romantic love, but crazy parental/family love. No romance between Sun/Moon and Gregory! None! Zip! ZERO! So don't go in the comments and start acting like it's the end of the world.

I love the idea that the glitch/virus affected them in a different way to cause them to actually be protective of Gregory in a kinda obsessive way. That sounds much more interesting than a standard 'oh Sun and Moon meet Gregory first and help him escape!'

Sun and Moon have become serious comfort characters for me and they deserve the world. And a little buddy to be with them :)

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Gregory couldn’t help the small whoop that escaped his lips as he slid down the slide. He had been running from animatronics all night, the doors had closed in his face as he tried to get out of the giant pizzaplex Gregory had snuck into for shelter after it started raining and ruined his box. Soon the ten-year-old had been lost to the wonders of the large building, swiping pizza and other treats off abandoned tables and running around, enjoying what he could in the giant pizzaplex. It was the best day ever for the homeless boy.

Of course, that couldn’t last long for young Gregory, as he suddenly had a security guard that gave him worse feelings than the cops on his tail, making the kid rush to find a place to hide.

His luck took a turn for the worst after that. The animatronics turned crazy when night hit! They were all chasing him, trying to catch him and Gregory didn’t trust what they would do to him once they got their hands onto him. He needed to find a place to hide and figure out a plan for getting out of the pizzaplex, and soon.

The daycare had seemed like a promising place to hideout. It was quiet other than the music playing in the background, with no animatronics or security bots to be seen. A slide that had a sign reading ‘slide into fun!’ tempted the boy, making Gregory make a full sprint and flinging himself down the slide full speed.

Landing in the ball pit, Gregory looked around to see if anyone was nearby. The boy moved further, looking around as he practically swam through the pit full of balls. Hearing a yell, Gregory looked up to see a sun-themed animatronic make a dive into the ball pit, causing the boy to freak and try to hurry and get out. Gregory yelped when arms lifted him by the armpits, causing him to come face to face with the smiling sun.

“Hello, new friend! You’re here late! Where are your parents? Are you here for a slumber party? Oh, this will be so fun! We can draw, play games, drink fizzy faz until our heads EXPLODE! It’ll be so fun! Oh! What’s your name? I’m Sun but some call me Sundrop!” The sun animatronic, Sun, rattled off looking at Gregory with a big smile as he carried him to the middle of the room, setting him down.

Gregory blinked, confused by this. This animatronic seemed… nice? He didn’t seem to want to kill him at least like the others.

“I-I’m Gregory.” The boy told him. “I don’t mean to bug you this late. I was just trying to find a place to hide. The other animatronics have been chasing me all night along with that crazy night guard lady.” He confessed, Sun looking at him.

“Chasing you all night?! That’s weird, our programming refuses to let us harm kids! And the nightguard well… she doesn’t like me or my brother so I don’t know about her.” Sun told him, tapping his chin as Gregory looked at him confused.

“Your brother? Who is that? And they certainly seem to be wanting to hurt me with how they’re acting. They won’t leave me alone!” Gregory told him, looking up at the smiling sun.

Sun seemed to frown, his grin lowering a little. “That’s not good! And I have a brother called Moon! He comes out when it’s dark. Would you like to meet him? He may look a bit scary but is super nice! He’s been listening to us this whole time!” Sun asked him, making Gregory blink.

“Sure?” He answered, a little nervous about meeting a new animatronic. Sun seemed nice but after the amount of animatronics that chased him tonight, he was apprehensive about meeting another.

Sun smiled, bouncing over to the light switch, grabbing a flashlight, and handing it to Gregory. “Here! You’ll need it. It gets a bit dark in here.” Sun told him and that was the only warning Gregory had before the room went dark as Sun turned off the lights.

Gregory blinked, turning on the flashlight clumsily as he looked where the sun animatronic had been. There in his place was one similar, but not the same. He looked more like a moon with glowing red eyes, making Gregory blink.

“Hello, Gregory. I’m Moon.” Moon introduced himself, smiling at the boy as he knelt to his level.

“Whoa. You’re cool looking.” Popped out of Gregory’s mouth before he could stop himself. He blushed as Moon looked at him surprised before laughing.

“Well. That’s something kids usually don’t say to me. Usually, they think I’m creepy or scary. Me and Sun both. I like ya kid.” Moon told him, grinning at the ten-year-old, making Gregory smile back.

“Well I mean the eyes are kinda creepy, why did they do red eyes? But so far you two are the only animatronics not to chase me down at the sight of me so you’re both cool in my book.” Gregory told them.

Moon frowned slightly, tilting his head. “Is that why you’re hurt?” Moon asked, raising a hand and gently looking over a scrape on the boy’s arm.

Gregory blinked, noticing the dry blood on the scratch. “Huh. Never noticed that. Must have happened when I fell running from Roxy earlier.” Gregory admitted as Moon grabbed a first aid kit from behind the security desk, gently cleaning up the cut and putting a band-aid on it.

“There. Can’t have that getting infected.” Moon told him, smiling at the boy. Gregory sent him back a small smile, not used to being taken care of.

The door of the daycare opening caught both of their attention, making Gregory freeze in fear, turning off his flashlight, the glow of Moon’s eyes being the only thing keeping him from being in total darkness.

“Moon? Come out.” Vanessa’s voice yelled out, making Gregory wince. Moon noticed this, frowning and picking up the boy, setting him in a slide, motioning him to be quiet before going up.

“What do you want?” Moon’s voice answered, making Gregory blink at the sudden change in tone. He seemed… colder. The boy guessed it was because she was rude to them. He didn’t blame him for being rude back.

“There’s a kid in the pizzaplex. I need all animatronics to hunt him down got it? Bring him to me if you find him.” Vanessa ordered the Moon animatronic, who only chuckled.

“Now miss Vanessa. Why would I help you when you are so rude to us?” Moon taunted her. “I’ll look for the kid. But don’t think that when I find them I would bring them to you. If you need help when you’ve already got a large number of security bots and the main four, why would you need me?” Moon taunted her, making Vanessa grit her teeth.

“Just bring him to me when you find him!” She growled at him, storming out, slamming the door behind her as she did.

Gregory winced at the sound, looking up at the balcony where they had been talking. Moon jumped down softly, landing quietly on his feet and going over to the boy, easily picking him up. “I understand why you dislike her little star,” Moon told him with a chuckle, making Gregory smile at him.

“Can you and Sun help me get out of the plex?” Gregory asked him, hoping to have at least one ally for the night. He would need it if he wanted to survive. Gregory knew he wouldn’t if the other animatronics or that guard got him.

Moon seemed to tilt his head before nodding. “Yes little star, we will gladly help you get home,” Moon told him with a smile, making Gregory grin back, glad to have an ally on his side.

Notes:

So, I'm going to do this story a little differently than the rest of my stories. You guys can decide at some points where they go next. So. For chapter three, Should they go to the Vip counter, or to the loading dock? Put it in the comments!

Chapter Text

“So. Why not just stay in here all night little Star?” Sun asked curiously, the lights had flicked back on a few minutes after one. “It’s the safest.”
Gregory shook his head. He didn’t know why the two decided to start calling him ‘little star’ but it made him feel special, so he would take it. “They could come in! Not to mention that creepy bunny lady that came by at one!” Gregory argued.

When one a clock had hit, Gregory and Moon had both seen a strange rabbit skipping around, seemingly looking for someone. Moon had quickly ushered Gregory back inside the daycare, the two staying inside until the lights had turned on, quietly chatting.

“But… It’s dangerous out there for you too little star!” Sun told him frowning.

“Not if you or Moon are with me Sun!” Gregory argued, crossing his arms. “The sooner I get out of here the better!”

Sun sighed, still worried about him. “Alright. But I don’t know the plex as well as the other animatronics. Moon knows it better than me since he does patrols.” The daytime animatronic told him, his spikes drooping lightly. “I’ll try my best though!”

Gregory smiled. “It’s okay Sun. You’re still helpful!” He told him. “You could easily get me out of danger!”

The ten-year-old had been here for about twenty minutes now and had learned that Sun and Moon were awesome! They were both extremely flexible and softer than the other animatronics, along with both being able to hang off ropes off the ceiling, though Moon seemed to use them much more than Sun. The two were also the tallest animatronics in the building at nine feet tall! Gregory felt like a giant on their shoulders! It also seemed like the security bots didn’t notice Gregory when he was on their shoulders. Though he didn’t know if the main animatronics would notice. It was a theory he would prefer to try with Moon, because while he was sure Sun would keep him safe, Moon wouldn’t try to talk them out of it first before shooting up to the top of the ceiling.

“Alright! Moon says that there are two ways out. One is by the VIP prize counter on the third floor and then at the loading dock on the first floor! Oh, this will be so much fun I never leave the daycare! Which way do you want to go little star? ” Sun asked, picking up the boy and settling him on his shoulders, heading towards the door of the daycare.

“Uhm… Which way do you want to go Sun?” Gregory asked, unsure. Sun seemed excited just to leave the daycare. The boy guessed he didn’t leave much. Maybe he wasn’t supposed to? “Uhm… You aren’t going to get in trouble for leaving the daycare right Sun?” He asked. Gregory liked the robot so far, he didn’t want the only sane one to get in trouble because of him.

Sun giggled, carrying him out of the daycare on his shoulders. “Nope! Sometimes Moon suddenly switches while he is out of the daycare so while technically I’m not supposed to be out, I won’t be in trouble if Vanessa sees me out since I didn’t walk out myself! We do this quite a bit actually!” Sun told him, giggling. “It’s not breaking the rules! Just… stretching them, as Moon says.”
Gregory blinked before laughing, holding onto Sun’s spikes as he does. “That’s awesome! So our main problem is still that nightguard though. If she sees you with me she’ll want you to hand me over to her.” Gregory frowned, thinking.

The ten-year-old felt Sun’s grip change slightly. It wasn’t much, just a slight change of pressure. But time on the streets had made him able to notice small changes as they could mean life or death.

“Moon will handle her. Don’t you worry little Star!” Sun told him, walking towards the elevator. Gregory frowned, wondering what about if they ran into her while Sun was out, but let the conversation die. He felt safer with Sun and Moon than when he was alone, but that didn’t mean the two weren’t dangerous.

Gregory’s gut feeling was telling him to stay on guard, as setting off these two would be the last thing he would do if he did.

“So little star, where are your parents?” Sun asked as the two were in the elevator heading towards one of the exits.

Gregory tried to hide the wince from the question, but judging by the expression on Sun’s face, he didn’t succeed. “Uhm… Well… My mom is dead.” Gregory told him, looking away.

Sun seemed to frown, kneeling down to his level. “I’m sorry Gregory. What about your dad?” Sun spoke, looking at him worriedly.

The doors decided to open at this point and Gregory ran out, looking at Sun. “Let’s uhh… Hurry up and find the exit Sun!” Gregory told him, trying to change the subject.

“Hmm. He’s hiding something Sun. Our little star has something he doesn’t want to tell us.” Moon’s voice popped up in Sun’s head, making Sun hum softly as he followed the boy.

“I can tell. But I won’t push it. He’s young, too young to be alone like this. Do you think-” Moon cut Sun’s thoughts off.

“Possibly. Gregory is too skinny for a healthy kid his age. Keep a close eye on him, Sunny. I’ll get it out of him later.” Moon spoke, making the animatronic internally nod.

“Alright. Don’t be too rough on our little star Moon. He needs us after all.” Sun told him, earning a chuckle and nod from his other part.

“Sun?” Gregory spoke up, making the animatronic look down at him, the boy having a worried look on his face as he held Sun’s hand, an action that made Sun’s non-existent heart skip a beat. “Are you okay?”

“Never better little star! Moon was just talking to me. We can communicate after all.” Sun told him with a smile, making Gregory blink.

“Really? That’s cool!” Gregory replied, a smile on his face.

“Yep! It helps us make sure we take care of all of our charges’ needs.” Sun told him, happily leading Gregory to the exit.

Though, a small part of him wanted to keep Gregory close and protect him, forever.

Notes:

So. Sun and Moon are going to slowly start seeming more clingy to Gregory as they slowly descend into yandere level. They're not used to a kid who likes them after all.

Gregory is screwed if he ever tells them he hates them.

Anyway, tell me which exit they should go towards first!

Chapter Text

Gregory looked around the arcade, seeing Roxy on patrol before looking at Sun. “Uhm… I don’t think you’ll be able to get through here without her noticing us Sun. And Roxy’s scary.” Gregory told Sun, looking up at the animatronic with a frown.

Sun frowned, deflating a little at the thought of leaving Gregory alone even for a second before opening his chest compartment and taking out a watch, handing it to Gregory. “Okay… Take this then Little Star. It’s a fazwatch. This one is based on me! Moon and I can track you though through it and if you hit that button on the side you can call us and we can come to you if you need help! Just be careful okay? We don’t want you hurt.” Sun told him as the boy placed the watch on his wrist, playing with it curiously.

“Whoa! This is so cool! Why can I connect to the cameras? Do they just give these out to people?” Gregory asked, confused but looking through the cameras.

Sun giggled, shaking his head as he knelt by the boy. “Nope. That one is special. Moon gets bored and learned to hack stuff a while back. Still, dunno how he did it though!” Sun told him with a smile, enjoying the wonder on the boy’s face.

“Whoa… I want to learn now.” Gregory muttered, playing with the watch. Sun giggled patting his head.

“I’m sure Moon would be happy to teach you later! Now, while you’re trying to get to the exit, I’ll go get you something to eat and drink and meet you there! You must be hungry by now.” Sun told him smiling softly. Gregory blinked, surprised at this. He wasn’t used to someone wanting to care for him.

“You don’t gotta Sun. I’m fine.” Gregory told him, feeling a little hungry but had dealt with worse. He had swiped some pizza when he first got to the plex however and would be fine for a few days until he got something else.

Sun shook his head. “No no no! You need food little star! You haven’t eaten in a while likely after all! The plex stops serving food at eight and it's currently 1:32! That’s six hours and thirty-two minutes at least of no food. Young bodies should eat more than that. Not to mention you’ve been running around the pizzaplex all night so far! No buts, you need food.” Sun scolded lightly, placing his hands on his hips. It worried the daycare attendants with how thin Gregory was. It was obvious the boy wasn’t taken care of. They would need to fix that.

Gregory shook his head. “Whatever. See you over there Sun.” He told him, heading off to sneak past Roxy and get to the VIP counter.

It took a bit of careful maneuvering around the arcade to avoid Roxanne, Gregory managed to get into an air vent. He checked the map on his watch, seeing this was the best way to go he started to crawl through the vent. As he did though, he heard something behind him, causing the boy to look behind him. There was a little spider animatronic, who banged his broken cymbals as he started to run at the boy, causing him to yelp and crawl quickly through the vents.

“Sun! There’s some tiny crazy spider thing following me through the vents!” Gregory yelled into his watch, turning the corner of the vent and dodging the small animatronic as it tried grabbing his ankle.

“Hurry and get out Gregory! I’m heading your way now! Moony says there’s a security office at the end of the vents your in, go in there and you can get a badge to get to the VIP area!” Sun’s voice came through on the watch as the boy crawled quickly, trying to get to the exit. Seeing it, he quickly crawled through, grunting as he landed on the floor.

“Whew. Made it.” Gregory breathed out in relief, getting up and going into the office, looking around for the badge he needed. Seeing the Freddy head on the desk, the boy walked over, remembering when he grabbed a pass from one of these earlier in the daycare due to Moon’s insistence. The boy pushed the nose, watching as it chimed and opened up, letting him grab the pass and shove it into his pocket.

Suddenly, the doors to the office both slide open as an alarm went off. “No no no! Sun! I don’t know what happened! All I did was take the badge!” Gregory yelled, fearful as he heard Monty and Roxy.

Moon’s voice popped up. “Don’t panic Little star. The office went in lockdown when you grabbed the badge. I’m already working on deactivating it but it will take me a bit. Use the cameras to watch for the others and shut the doors when they get too close. DON’T let them in. I’ll be there as soon as I get the alarm to turn off. Be safe.” Moon told him, the naptime animatronic rushing through codes to hurry and turn off the alarm. As soon as they heard the alarms sound, Sun moved into a dark room to let out Moon, who used his cords to get to the darkness of the ceiling and rush to the office, fearful for their little star.

Gregory watched the cameras carefully, scared as he slammed the door in Monty’s face. “I know I’m your favorite.~” Roxanne called out, making Gregory stick his tongue at her from through the doorway.

“Sorry bitch but Sun and Moon beat you big time!” Gregory called to her, slamming the door as she growled and leaped at him, not realizing the watch was still letting sound through on his end.

“Language,” Moon told him with a chuckle, the two of them happy to hear the boy say they were his favorite, even if it may have just been to taunt the wolf animatronic.

They were never anyone’s favorite. All the kids that visited the daycare usually said that Freddy or Monty were their favorites. Anyone but them typically. To hear their little star say they were his favorite made the daycare animatronic extremely happy.

Gregory jumped at Moon’s sudden voice before sweatdropping. “Sorry,” Gregory muttered, watching the cameras and opening one of the doors as one of them left it.

“The alarm is off little star. If the coast is clear try meeting us at the prize counter. If not, let me know and I’ll get you out of there.” Moon told him, sighing in relief as he turned off the alarm, heading to the prize counter and landing on the ground, letting Sun take over.

Gregory checked the cameras, seeing the coast was clear before dashing through the doors to see Sun waiting for him, who instantly scooped the boy up and hugged him. “Oh, little star I’m so glad you’re alright! Moony and I were so worried when the alarm started going off. You didn’t get hurt did you?” Sun asked, scanning the boy for injuries.

Gregory shifted in his hold, unused to the attention the animatronic was giving him. “I’m okay Sun. Thanks to Moon turning off the alarm. I almost ran out of power on the doors.” The boy told them, smiling at the animatronic. Sun seemed to sigh with relief, holding the boy as he found them a place to hide from the other animatronics.

Sun sat on the ground, holding Gregory close as he opened up his stomach hatch, taking out a sandwich and fizzy faz he had managed to snatch from one of the kitchens. “Here you go, Gregory. You’ve been running around so much that you must be hungry! I’ll make sure no one gets close okay?” Sun told him, handing over the food.

Gregory took it, surprised as he looked at the food. They got him something. Sun hadn’t been lying when they said they would. He wasn’t used to someone wanting to make sure he was fed and taken care of.

Gregory wished he could get used to this. He liked this feeling of having someone who would care.

Notes:

Alright! So we got some cute stuff with Gregory and Sun/Moon! Along with Moon helping Gregory through the lockdown. Scenes like that are going to probably change quite a bit as Sun/Moon would handle them differently than Freddy does ingame.

Also, If you see pronouns for Sun/Moon change between He/him and They/Them. I headcanon they go by both so if the inconsistency is there, It is because my ADHD brain couldn't decide at the moment to go with one.

Chapter Text

Sun and Gregory snuck over to the prize counter, sneaking around Roxy since she had moved around into the room between them and the VIP room.

Gregory ran over to the door as soon as they got there, frowning when he noticed it was blocked. “Sun, I can’t get through,” Gregory told him, frowning as he turned to the daycare attendant.

Sun frowned, going over. “It looks like you can’t get through little star unless you’re a VIP! That’s not safe, Moon lodging a complaint about it now.” Sun told him, frowning slightly.

Gregory frowned before hearing the doors lock, looking at Sun frantically. “The doors are all locked! We can’t get out of here!” Gregory spoke, nervous as he heard Roxy steadily getting closer to them.

Sun frowned, picking up Gregory before hiding behind a counter away from where the wolf was prowling. “Little star, is there anyone on the other side of this fence?” Sun asked, holding the boy close as he watched her.

Gregory checked on his watch, watching the camera for a moment before shaking his head, curled up against the daycare attendant. He was surprisingly soft for an animatronic, his outer layer made of soft but durable silicone to replicate the feeling of skin.

“No. I think Roxy is the only animatronic here with us.” Gregory muttered quietly, watching as she left the room they were in.

Sun nodded, holding the boy close as he easily scaled over the fence. Gregory held onto him, knowing he wouldn’t fall but being off the ground was making him nervous. Once on the other side, the animatronic put him down, frowning.

“Gregory, get to the elevator okay?” Sun spoke. “We can’t go in with you in case officer Vanessa shows up, or else we could get in serious trouble. If she finds you we’ll save you okay?” Sun leaned down, rubbing his head gently. “We won’t let anyone harm you, little star.”

Gregory frowned, nodding a bit. He understood but that didn’t mean he liked it. He liked having the two animatronics near him. They may act a little weird, but the boy enjoyed it. He enjoyed how they took care of him and acted like they cared, even though it was just their programming.

He would miss them when he finally left.

That thought startled Gregory. He never missed anyone. Not his mom, not his dad. Not that bitch that made his dad give him up cause she couldn’t stand him loving anyone else but her. He sure didn’t miss anyone from the foster home or when on the streets.

He would miss Sun and Moon. Sun’s excited rambling as they walked through the pizzaplex, talking and pointing out every little thing. Moon’s calmer approach, chatting with Gregory and telling him stories or ideas for pranks he had planned for the other animatronics. The two were fun to be around and wanted him to be happy and healthy. Which was better than any other adult in his life.

“Little star?” Sun’s voice brought him out of his thoughts, making him look up at the sun animatronic, who seemed worried about his sudden space out. “Are you alright? If you want we can try to find another way around.”

Gregory smiled, shaking his head. “It’s okay Sun. I’ll go on the elevator. See you down there!” He told him, running over to the elevator quickly to avoid Roxy.

Sun watched him, blinking before giggling softly, going to find another way down. “Our little star is adorable…” He mumbled, earning an agreement from Moon in their joint memory bank.

Gregory ran into the elevator, letting out a loud yelp when the map bot busted in, yelling about a map. Sun turned, watching with a frown, growling under his breath as he saw Vanessa appear, grabbing their star as the elevator doors closed.

“We’re coming little star…”

{Timeskip}

Gregory woke up with a wince, holding his head as he looked around confused, noticing he was in a security office. He frowned, taping his watch as he goes to call Sun before blinking, noticing it broken and smashed to bits. He couldn’t call for help.

He couldn’t call for those who cared.

The security screens flickered on, making the boy look up as he noticed the bunny woman from earlier. “Are you having fun yet?” Her voice came through the speakers, making Gregory jump as the screen flickered back to static just as quickly.

“I gotta get out of here and find Sun or Moon!” Gregory told himself, finding a screwdriver and opening a vent. He felt his vision get fuzzy, frowning noticing the bunny lady coming to the room from down a hallway, making him freak out and crawl through quickly.

Gregory quickly ran, hiding in a baby carriage as he watched her run by, having not seen him duck inside. He was scared and wanted Sun, who would hug him and tell him everything was okay, or Moon, who would easily protect him.

He was alone.

“Oh, Gregory~ Where are you?” The rabbit’s voice rang, making Gregory curl up further in the carriage silently, trying to think of a plan. He couldn’t check the cameras with his watch busted. He could try to peek out, but he had the chance of being spotted by the rabbit.

He was trapped.

His head got fuzzy again as she moved closer, stopping in front of the baby carriage as Gregory tried to make himself as small as possible. He was getting a headache, how did she do that? How did she make everything fuzzy?

“Gregory~ Are you in here? It’s time to come out~” Her voice rang out, making Gregory tear up, thinking this was the end.

Then the lights went out.

Right as the rabbit reached for the baby carriage, the lights shut down in the plex, making her look away. “It’s not time for the lights to go out.” She spoke aloud, making Gregory blink back tears and he tried to sneak away.

The rabbit grabbed him. “Oh no, you don’t!~” She said, pulling the boy close, knife in hand.

Gregory yelped, struggling. “MOON!” Gregory yelled, fearful as tears formed in his eyes.

LET GO OF OUR LITTLE STAR YOU B-CH!” Moon’s voice yelled out with a loud growl following, his voicebox glitching over a word.

He landed beside them, growling, eyes red. Gregory looked at him teary-eyed as the rabbit lady took a step back fearfully, letting go of the boy in the process.

“Moon!” Gregory yelled, running over and hiding behind him. Moon looked at him, worry appearing on the animatronic’s face.

“Are you alright little star?” He asked him softly, making Gregory nod as he stayed hidden behind the animatronic.

The rabbit was quick to retreat, running away as Moon turned back to her with a snarl, starting to go after her before stopping when there was a tug at his pants.

“D-Don’t go, please… I don’t want to be alone…” Gregory mumbled softly, looking up at Moon with tears in his eyes.

Moon frowned softly, leaning down and wiping the tears, picking up the small boy. “Let’s get you back to the daycare little star. You need a break and a rest after all this running around.” Moon told him softly, hooking himself to a cord and lifting them both to the ceiling, carrying him over to the daycare.

“She broke the watch you guys gave me… Sorry…” Gregory muttered, curling up against Moon, having a tight grip on his shirt.

“The watch is fixable. You are not. She didn’t hurt you did she? We had to do an emergency power outage on the complex. That’s why it took so long for us to get there.” Moon explained, going into the daycare and looking at the boy in his arms.

Gregory shook his head. “No, she didn’t. Are you really not mad?” Gregory asked, looking up at him worried.

Moon smiled softly at him, carrying him down to the naptime corner, knowing the boy needed some rest after all the running he had done so far that night. “No, I’m not mad. You are much more precious to us than some watch. I can fix it and I have another one you can use. Now.” Moon said, setting him down on a pile of pillows. “You need to rest.”

Gregory blinked, sitting up and looking at the naptime animatronic, who was swift to push him back down and remove the broken watch from his arm before he was injured by the broken screen. “I’m not tired though and we still need to find an exit.” He told him.

Moon chuckled, setting the watch to the side and laying beside him, smiling softly. “You need rest. You can’t keep up doing this all night little Star. You’re still a kid. We will wake you up but an hour's nap won’t affect anything. You’re safe with us starlight.” Moon spoke, softly petting the boy’s hair, who leaned into the touch as a yawn broke from his lips.

“Fine…” Gregory muttered, closing his eyes as he heard Moon start to hum a lullaby of some kind. It was nice. Gregory was safe. Safe with Sun and Moon to care for him.

Those were the last thoughts on his mind as he drifted to sleep.

Notes:

Moon wants Vanny dead. hehe

The reason why Vanny was referenced as the rabbit and the bunny was that Gregory doesn't know her name! The boy would only know to call her as he sees her.

Also! We got to see really what Gregory sees Sun and Moon. The boy got some trauma. Which, anyone would have trauma after getting chased by animatronics all night.
