Tigerkit has been renamed to Talonkit, after Rowanclaw's apprentice that was slain by Jacques and Susan.
Kinkfur is nonbinary (fae/faer), and Shrewpaw is agender (they/them). Jaypaw is a bisexual trans tom (he/him). There are a lot of LGBTQ cats in this story (i'm a nonbinary lesbian lmao) but their identities will come up later. Those three are just the ones that I figured I'd explain ahead of time.
In canon, Snowbird is pregnant with Scorchfur's kits, but he's still an apprentice at the time. To fix this in my story, she got pregnant with a rogue's kits and won't name the father if asked, mostly because they broke up after he found out she was expecting. Later, after Scorchpaw becomes Scorchfur, he and Snowbird become mates, with him adopting her previous kittens as his own.
The phrase "medicine cat" has been replaced with "healer".
I had to piece together the ShadowClan allegiances so that there were more than six cats in the clan, lmao. I tried to make it as accurate to canon as possible, but if anything seems off just ignore it.
