Modern AU Third Mates fic that just works so so well. I can hear every line of dialogue in the characters’ voices and it balances tone perfectly. It’s ultimately bittersweet, but it feels like there’s hope for the future to go in a better direction with the three of them together and Zirk finally starting to open up about his mother.
