   Summary

   Against all odds Itachi survives after his battle with Sasuke, and is brought to heal to a black market doctor. Itachi can’t come to terms with his survival, because it goes against everything he’d wanted. He doesn’t belong to this world anymore. But then he hears he’s not the only one who cheated death: his best friend Shisui is also very much alive, desperately searching for him. When they finally meet, everything changes.
