Chapter 1: [REDACTED]
Chapter Text
In a desolate room, the remnants of a once-operational computer glowed weakly, its screen shattered and on the brink of giving up. The SBI (Special Bureau of Investigations) had recently discovered this hidden place, known for its unspeakable horrors, and dispatched their team here.
As the computer flickered for the last time, the team managed to salvage a fragment of the final security camera recording.
The footage revealed a vast, ruined control room, presumably the hub of the ship. Within its confines stood an adult and a child.
The adult, clad in the attire of a captain, bore brown hair and light green eyes. The child, no older than seven, possessed a shock of blond hair. The captain lay against a wall, his terrified expression visible to the camera. Though the recording lacked sound, it was evident that the man was pleading for his life, his words left to the viewer's imagination.
The child, remarkably composed, stood upright with his back to the camera. Even his wings seemed at ease, folded neatly against his back. For two harrowing minutes, the child listened to the man's pleas, exuding an eerie calmness.
Then, with a deliberate motion, the child raised his hand, placing it in front of the captain's head. The video briefly distorted, obscuring the exact nature of the event, before returning with a slight distortion. The man vanished, leaving nothing but empty space, while the child remained in the same position. He straightened himself, cracking his wings, and turned toward the camera.
The crew watching the footage couldn't help but gasp in disbelief. The child, definitely around 7 or 8 years old, possessed captivating blue eyes that seemed to sparkle even through the video. His hair transcended mere blondness, shining with a golden hue. His flawless skin, visible despite the recording, displayed avian features but deviated from any normalcy.
Though avians were rare in the universe, the SBI members had encountered some before, yet this child defied comparison. He was too perfect, too powerful, emitting an otherworldly presence that sent shivers down their spines. The young boy tilted his head curiously, emanating an almost innocent aura.
Raising his hand again, mimicking the previous gesture, the child directed his attention towards the camera. A shrill, sudden sound erupted from the video, causing most of the crew to jump and retreat from the smoking computer.
Captain Philza Minecraft, a stoic figure, remained transfixed by the screen. His body leaned forward, eyes locked on the glitching image. The video glitched for a few seconds before fading out completely. A weighty silence enveloped the room as the crew exchanged uncertain glances, waiting for someone to voice the obvious.
Breaking the stillness, Sam took hesitant steps towards the computer, positioning himself beside Phil. He whispered something into the captain's ear, snapping him out of his trance. Phil swiftly turned to the three other members—Puffy, Jack, and George—searching their eyes for answers.
"Did anyone else record this?" Phil's voice resonated with authority, masking his underlying tension. His gaze and body language betrayed his anxiety, though he concealed it well.
For a few seconds, no one moved, until Jack timidly raised his hand. The captain's piercing look nearly made him regret his decision.
"I used my visor to record everything from my perspective, including the... video," Jack stammered, hastily retracting his statement. Phil visibly relaxed, validating Jack's choice.
At least they possessed a recording of the video, a crucial piece of evidence despite their unfamiliarity with the person depicted. They needed as much
information as possible about the events that unfolded here, and this enigmatic child seemed to hold the answers.
Phil took a deep breath to collect his thoughts before commanding the others to scour the ship for more clues. Yet, apart from the pervasive destruction, there was little else to be found. The calamity that transpired seemed to have occurred two or three years prior.
Dread settled in Phil's stomach as he realized that the child might still be out there—alone, lost somewhere in the vast expanse of the universe—because the Galactic Forces failed to act swiftly enough. Or perhaps the child was already lost forever. He couldn't bear to entertain that thought.
After scouring the room meticulously for half an hour, Phil finally joined the others aboard their ship, carrying several charred binders containing fragments of information on the "experiments" conducted here, the children who had suffered.
The crew had salvaged all the pertinent items, and now they awaited reinforcements in tense silence.
Unbeknownst to them, not far away, on another spaceship, a ten-year-old boy named Theseus was experiencing a newfound sense of companionship with his friends: the half-goddess Drista and the shapeshifter Purpled. For Theseus, it was the first taste of genuine friendship and trust in his otherwise sheltered existence.
And thus began their story, one tinged with unsettling oddity, where wrongness and fear lurked around every corner, leaving an indescribable sense of dread.
Chapter 2: Theseus The Best Vigilante
Summary:
He’s Theseus, the biggest vigilante in the Galaxie, the best pilot ever known, the one who escaped the Galactic Force so many time they just gave up trying to arrest him, the one who is known as a "hero"
That said his “job” got him in a lot of trouble. Like the trouble he’s in right now.
Notes:
Here the second chapter. Sorry for making you wait 😅
Chapter Text
Tommy wasn't really having what you would call a great day.
Honestly, when he woke up today he felt like it was going to be a shitty day and, as he looks at the android who was standing in front of him with a gun to his head, he knew he was right.
But he wasn't scared, no, not even a little.
Because he’s Theseus, the biggest vigilante in the Galaxie, the best pilot ever known, the one who escaped the Galactic Force so many time they just gave up trying to arrest him, the one who is known as a "hero" (while he wasn't even able to make pasta)
The situation he's in right now is a normal Thursday for him ( he always hated Thursday ). Hell, it wasn't even in the top 10 of the worst situation he ever been in.
So with all that said you now understand why he's not worried but don't get him wrong, he know that he still in a bad position and that if he doesn't play well his card it could get out of hand really fast.
So he needs a escape plan, and fast.
Tommy scan his surroundings furtively.
He's in a closed room, probably a room situated in the front of the ship.
He can't use the windows since they're in the middle of the space and there is only one door who's behind him. There is two androids to the left and three to the right.
If he ever want a chance to escape he will have to take care of the six androids in the room starting with the one who's pointing a gun at him. And even if he succeeds, he don't know what's behind the door.
He made Purpled, his hacker, hacked the ship before going in it but he didn't really had the time to ask for a map before getting caught by the android.
Anyway, this is the problem of the future Theseus if he doesn't get shot, Tommy told himself as he discreetly prepare himself to go on with his pathetic plan he made in his mind. He take a deep breath and go.
He jumped on the androids in front of him and made them both spun around to make sure he was behind him, immobilized him with his handcuffs by placing them behind his neck and snatched his weapon from his hands before shooting him in the back while the others began to draw their weapons.
He used the body as a shield as he shot the two on the left then threw it at one of the androids on the right. He shot another then hit the last one with his new weapon.
Finally, he shot the one who was below the body.
After they all stop moving he took the time to catch his breath before reassessing the situation.
There was no more imminent danger, he had succeeded. He could feel a grin on his face. He had beaten them, again. He still was alive.
"As much as I understand your happiness Andrew, right now is not the best moment to be distracted" Drista' voice said though the speaker.
Ah Drista, the other pilots of his ship. She's a pain in the ass (and his best friends).
She normally the ones who control the ship while he's not here and-vice versa.
Tommy rolled his eyes.
Can't she leave him alone for once ?
"Can't you give me a break Drista ? I just beat six androids by myself, I need some time to recover" Now that was a lie because honestly it was pretty easy.
"So you are traumatized by androids while you fought against Cronos the biggest threat in the Universe ? Interesting." Somehow she manage to sound sarcastic and monotone at the same time.
"Anyway here are the map of the ship. The colored line is the path you must follow to return to the ship and the red dots are androids. Purpled is hacking the outside to see what path you will take" Drista explained as she send him the plan on his bracelet.
He opened the files and the map materialized in front of him.
Control room/right corridor/left corridor/left corridor/ Storage room/ right corridor/exit.
Huh, pretty easy.
He imprinted the image on his memory before rushing out of the storage room.
The corridor was all white with some harsh light that hurt his eyes a little. They really need to change their fashion style because with their clothes and that ship they look ridiculous.
(Those walls kinda reminds him of that place-)
A sound behind him chases the thoughts away. He listens closely and quickens when he recognizes the footsteps. They spotted him
"Damn it" Tommy growled. He was almost at the end, couldn't they give him that?
No of course not.
Why would the world help him?
The Universe hates him.
"Stop sulking and carry on," Drista shot back through the speakers. "You turn right and take the first door in front of you. You're going to hide here until I say you can get out."
Tommy nodded even though he's pretty sure she can't see him and rushed towards the door, almost crashing into it.
He opened it, entered and closed it as fast as he can. He held his breath until he was sure that no one was around and finally relax and proceed to look around.
The room he's in don't really look like a storage room.
In fact, it doesn't look anything like the rest of the ship.
The wall are dark gray instead of white, the floor also not the normal blank color but instead a black purple looking color and the light are soft blue instead of the bright light in the corridors.
It's vaste and empty exept for the metalic door with a code in front of him.
Whatever is behind it must be really important.
Now, you must now somethings, Tommy has a big flaws. One that almost got him and the other two killed numerous of time : He's terribly curious.
So, when confronted at this door, he can't help it, he needs to know what behind it.
We never know, right ? It could be something precious or expensive that they can sell or better, money !
They need money and he will not pass that opportunity.
He will see what's behind that door, even if it's the last thing he do.
"Drista, can you ask Purpled if he's capable to hack this door for me ?" He says as he marched towards the door.
"Are you sure it's a good idea ?" He can hear the doubt in her voice and honestly it surely a horrible idea since, if the protection of this place is something to go by, it will probably notify the androids that he's here.
And he's pretty sure that they will not make the mistake of letting him alive this time.
Plus, they don't even know what's behind it, it could be dangerous or letal. But he made his decision and he will not back down.
"No, but I want to know what's behind it" He's aware that she probably thought about the danger of that stupid decision and when he doesn't have any answer he's prepared to ask if she still there but before any words can leave his mouth, the code on the door flickers before dying.
"You've got 10 minutes" said Purpled "I hope you know what you're doing" Oh man he hopes too..
He extends his arm, grabs the handle and open the door fastly. The little light in the room still allows him to see what behind and he can't help the shocked sound that escaped him.
It's not a treasure nor money who’s in here but a person, wich make this place not a safe but a cell !
Well, at least, the guy in the cell seems as surprised as him. His eyes are comically wide and he's tense.
"Theseus?!" Great. Just great.
The bitch seems to know him and, if the shocked and angry tone of his voice is anything to go by with, they doesn't seem to like him.
It's in those moments that he's happy he has a mask because he really doesn’t want that man to see his face.
"Yeah it's me. Keep your mouth shut, I really don't want to be seen right now" It would be the ice on the cake if he's catch right now by the androids because of this man.
He doesn't seem to like his response but he does as he's told.
As Tommy helps him out of his cage, the man starts to relax a little. He even tries to start a conversation.
"What are you doing here?"
"I'm searching for something"
"What are you searching ? Did you find it?"
"None of your business"
"You are really rude"
"Well, why are YOU here?"
A silence follows his question before the man answers.
"Touché"
"Theseus what the fuck are you doing?"
Oh man.
He was dead.
He forgot Drista was here.
"Well I'm helping a poor old man Athena."
"I'm not old!" Oh my god he was really starting to hate this guy.
Drista don't really sound like she like his idea but she must have seen that he wouldn't budge because she let it go.
"Alright. Get out of here before you two finish in the cell"
"OK." Theseus turn towards the guy "Let's go" and he open the door and get out of the room.
In the light of the corridor he can clearly see the man with him. He have dark brown hair and eyes and he's tall. More tall than him. What a bitch! How dare he?
He doesn’t seem in a really bad state so he must have been trapped for only a few hours.
"What's your name?" If Tommy has to support him he, at least, wants to know his name.
"What? Why?" He looks surprised and wary.
He just helped him and he doesn't want to give him his name? Is he serious?
"You know mine why can't I know yours?" The guy don't answer. Is he really going to ignore him? After everything ?
Wow
Incredible
People theses days are-
"Wilbur" Tommy turn his head, surprised
"What?" Did he really-
"My name's Wilbur" He really did. He seems more tense than ever.It is possible to be this tense? Apparently.
There is an awkward silence before Tommy ultimately realize he’s supposed to say something. What a pain in the ass! He hates discussions.
"It's a shitty name" There it go. It's Wilbur turn to be surprised.
"Hey!" He looks offended but Tommy can see his shoulder relax and the hint of amusement in his eyes.
Uhh
Seems like annoying people work. He tried to grow the pride that he's starting to feel in his chest. He doesn't even know this guy.
"Are we almost out?"
"Yeah it's..." He praticly run towards the door and open it. "..there!!"
They are finally in the place were the spaceship arrives.
"I assumed your spaceship was here" He says as he turns towards Wilbur and feel relief when he found him smiling.
"Yeah thank you Theseus" He says with a genuine smile on his face.
"You're welcome" Theseus respond and, even through Wilbur can see it, let out a little smile.
A comfortable silence grow as they look at each other.
"Well I don't want to stop your goodbyes but they are some androids that's coming and we need to go" Drista' voice says.
Oh shit, that right. They're androids after them.
Tommy turn around and get ready to run but before he go, he turn his head and look at Wilbur.
The man were in the same position as him but in the other direction.
They make a eyes contact, he flashes a smile that Tommy replicates behind his mask before they both break into sprint in the opposite ways.
Tommy run in the gigantic room towards the place where he remember parking the ship and, soon enough, he can see the front of it.
He went close to it and wait a few long minutes before the entrance open.
He jumps into it at the moment the androids enter the room. He run in the small hallways straight to the control room where Drista and Purpled already wait for him in their respective places.
He throws himself in his chair and begins to start turning on the engines. Their sound almost down the one of the androids outside of the ship.
There is no time to talk right now and all three of them know it but he can still feel their burning gazes on his back.
It’s going to be a veeery long discussion..
Life really hate him.
Chapter 3: The Crew of Mentally Unstable Teenagers

We meet the crew and Tommy learns that, unfortunately, good deeds have consequences.
Chapter Text
Getting out of the planet's orbit was pretty simple in itself, it was getting the troops out of the way after them which was a bit of a hassle but they pulled it off.
("You're going to get us killed Tommy !" Drista shouts into his ears, trying to make herself heard over the sound of gunfire and machinery from their ship.
"Stop yelling I know what I'm doing" And Tommy knows what he's doing he literally has his whole life.
The look that Drista is throwing at him doesn't change and he rolls his eyes. Is she serious?
"You still don't trust me after all we've been through?" He starts to raise his voice as well to make himself heard.
"Oh no I'm sorry I'm going to rephrase it" she start and the level of sarcasm is impressive "I trust you with our lives but I don't trust you with the life of our SHIP and if you destroy it, we DIE"
Can she go a few seconds without criticizing him?
"Why does that bother you so much? Purpled is our tech and he trusts me, right Purpled?"
Drista and Tommy are both spinning their head towards the person concerned who monitors the state of the ship.
Without even looking up Purpled replies:
"You make a scratch and I'll make sure you understand the consequences so I advise you to refocus on our escape"
Tommy does what I asked him ignoring the smirk that Drista gives him. He prefers to keep all his members thank you very much.)
When they finally ended up losing them and Drista finished scolding him like he's a child.
("Are you really going to lecture me?"
Tommy can't believe it. He just saved some poor guy who was a prisoner. She should congratulate him instead of berate him.
"I saved a guy and I completed the mission! Why aren't you happy ?"
Drista's eye roll is so powerful that for a moment he's sure her eyes are going to get stuck. They doesn't and he regrets it the moment she looks at him with an exasperated expression.
"You compromised the mission and you almost got captured Tommy" She looks at him annoyed and before he can defend himself, Purpled adds:
"And besides you didn't even know it was a person at the inside. You made me open the door because you're way too curious and you can't control yourself."
Tommy turned to him with an expression of betrayal but, seeing Purpled's raised eyebrows and defiant gaze, decided not to risk his life on some silly betrayal. He turned back to Drista, who had the same expression as Purple, the difference being the smirk at the corner of his lips, and realized that he had already lost the battle.
He let out a groan and went back to his seat, ignoring the growing knowing gaze between the two.
Stupids assholes.)
After all of that, Tommy brought them back to their planet: L'Manberg.
It is extremely similar to the planet Terra (also known as Earth on the early years) the only differences being:
the seasons (there are two: autumn and winter);
the temperature (it is colder on this planet: normally between 10 and 5 degrees);
the fauna and flora (scientists have discovered that animals on Earth and animals here have the same ancestors but since they evolved under different conditions, they are not the same).
The planet is well guarded but it's easy to squeeze through the cracks when you have a small ship and a professional hacker (Drista always laugh at the face of the security as if it hadn’t taken her 6 months to understand it).
It took them about 15 minutes to get through security (their record is 6 minutes but then they were late for important exams and adrenaline is something very powerful.
In the end they arrived sweaty and with a few injuries but they were still able to do the test) and 40 minutes to land, change (into normal clothes) and enter their respective dormitory.
(The hallway towards the dorms has always reassured him in some way. Maybe it's just the comforting aura of the wooden floor and the pastel blue walls.
Maybe it's the difference between the white and lifeless corridors that haunt him and these corridors filled with color and life that warm him without burning him).
By the time they're ready to go to sleep, it's half past two in the morning and they're all exhausted.
Their basic mission (they had been contacted by someone because apparently the androids had stolen some secret weapon blueprints and the client couldn't trust the galactic police so he contacted them) was supposed to be quick (they normally had to to be back at midnight) but Tommy had some...complication on the way and it ended up taking 2 more hours.
If he adds that to last night when they went to bed late (4am) to plan their plan and the fact that they have to get up at 6am tomorrow morning, that's 6 hours of sleep in two days.
It's not the worst they've done.
(Especially Purpled who usually goes to bed at one o'clock in the morning to finish papers. the incident of April 9. That day they found out the price to pay when you piss off Purpled)
But still, Tommy found himself loose consciousness really fast (or at least faster than usual) in the comfort of his bed.
Just to be sure, before falling in the arms of sleep he slurred those last words :
"Don't be a bitch and go to sleep Purpled"
He doesn't hear the reply but he knows there will be consequences to these horrible actions of his. Oh well, it's not like he thought he was going to go to heaven (let's be real, none of them will).Tommy falls asleep with a smile on his face.
(That night Tommy dreamed of an endless white hallway, of lost hope and of the scream from someone far more innocent than himself.
He should have died there why didn't he? Why did he Was he the one who survived? Why did the gods decide he deserved to live? Is it a punishment? It sure does feel like it.
All the blood, all the scream and those toxic green eyes are going to haunt him And then he will find him and he will go back he doesn'twanttogobackplease-)
Thes-Tommy awoke with a start, his brow covered in sweat, tears streaming down his cheeks and the feeling of smoke and dust burning in his eyes and throat.
He look around him afraid to only finally realize he was in his room, Purpled room right next to his. The clock across the room was showing 5h07. He should go back to sleep but he was feeling restless, he needed to do something.
He got up with his limbs shaking and decided that the best choice is to go to take a shower. (He scratched his skin until it was red trying to remove the blood that would stain him for the rest of his miserable life)
After that he went back to his bed and lay awake in his bed staring at the ceiling, too tired to move but too scared to go back to bed. He finally ends up falling asleep at 5:36.
The incident was never brought up.
Waking up was difficult in the morning. Turns out that not sleeping very well for two days had consequences. Well, it's also probably related to the fact that none of them ever really had a full night sleep in like a year.
In short, he deviates from the subject, the point is that they are all tired.
Drista was going to email their respective mentors to tell them that they were "sick" and that they "sadly won't be able to come" which was a foolproof plan.
So why did the three of them sit in their seats around the meeting table?
You must surely tell yourself that their plan failed and well it didn't. In fact, they haven't even had a chance to put their plan in motion before they all get an email from SBI (the ship where their mentors are) telling them to get dressed and get their ass down here. (with adequate words)
The SBI almost never does that and the only times are when they go on a mission or when one of them gets hurt, do saying Tommy is stressed would be an understatement.
It was only when Phil told them they had to meet someone that Tommy relaxed. After all, what's the harm in having a new colleague who apparently was already on the crew before? Whatever it is on that-
The sound of a door opening interrupted her line of thinking and everyone turned to the new guy. Tommy opened his mouth to greet him before freezing completely.
You fucking kidding him.
The Universe laughs at his pathetic existence. It can't be true.
It just can't be true.
He refuses.
The new guy (who will also be his colleague) is the guy he saved the night before.
It's Wilbur.

Chapter Text
Hello :D
It's been a long time and I've stumble here a few days ago and I've got a question
Is there still some people reading this ?
Because I kinda want to rewrite some chapter to make it more clean and continue but I don't really have a lot of motivation
So It's just a question no need to sweat it :D
Notes:
Once again sorry for being late lol
What are 2 years in a life ?
