My Little JJ

Summary:

My take on Joker Jr.
Sorry Tim.

I know I used versions of charecters from different universes, but let me do this ok? I just want to use my favorite versions of the charecters. Jeez.

Notes:

Edit-Sunday, November 20, 2022:Shit I posted this to early

Chapter 1: Fly Robin Fly

Chapter Text

(Barbara Gordon's/Batgirls POV)

Tim was out there all alone the night he went missing. It was three weeks before Batman and I were sent a sort of invitation. It was an odd box, that exploded in confetti, leaving behind only the shirt of a patient from the original Arkham Asylum. Now, we simply had to find him.

Chapter 2: Jokes On You

Summary:

His heart is numb, and it won't beat for anyone
He had his fun, but now the games over
He's black and blue from bleeding for the Bats
Took what he had
Burnt it all to ash
He's lied for Batsy since he was 10
And he's not going to cry again and ruin his makeup
So, if he had to make the choice, if he truly had to chose.
Well, the jokes on you

Chapter Text

(Tim Drakes)

(Robins)

(Joker Jr's. POV)

"So Dad, what's the plan?"

"JJ, you know the plan."

"I know Dad, just making sure you didn't change it. Mom either. The Kent's are going to be at that gala," JJ slammed his hands on the table and looked his father in the eyes, before growled out, "and you know full well that darling little Conner will be mine by the end of the night, or there will be chaos and bloodshed."

Uncle Two-Face laughed like a maniac and slapped JJ on the back. "Ah, what a chip of the old block! Insane and possessive of a lover like your mum, but as toxic as the family acid vat!"

"And what did he get from me?"

"Aside from the half his mum gave him, stunning good looks." Poison Ivy commented as she helped Harleen Quinzel Harley Quinn that monster Mom with her makeup. Mom smiled in agreement.

Not your mother. She's a killer! She-

"I am full well aware what she is without your input." He hissed, then flinched when he realized he said it out loud. "Sorry, the voices, their telling me that Lane would never let me have her darling little boy." Then he laughed, just like his mother. "I'm kidding, that's not what they really said."

Gotta fight gotta run gotta jump gotta kill gotta laugh over their dead body- WAIT! NO! THATS NOT ME! STOP IT!

"May as well quit it now," he cooed as he gazed into the mirror he kept in his pocket with a smirk, relishing the voices clear and visible anger as its hair turned black and it's eyes blue. "Our darling Kon will be mine, and I will rule Gotham."

"That's right sweetie, you tell those voices whose boss." Catwoman said with a smile as she sharpened one of her knives.

"You could always get rid of him y'know," Scarecrow muttered from his swivel chair as he worked on a new fear toxin. JJ giggled.

"Why would I? I simply adore taunting the poor thing, and when Conner Kent falls for Jason James Quinn, the one and only Joker Jr., the Clown Prince of Crime-rather than fall for him- it will destroy him! It's so, delicious."

Conner will never fall in love with you, you bitch! He's my best friend, and if anything, he'll fall for me! I love him, I won't let you have him!

"Oh sweetheart, haven't you ever heard the phrase, 'If you love someone-or something-let it go?'" Then he laughed and closed the compact, drowning out Voices screams, and let his insanity run as strong as any drug, more delicious and stimulating then any dose of Fear Toxin, Joker Venom, or even Banes latest evolution of Venom, all of which he took every morning, so that Voice would never come back from the dead.

Chapter Text

(Kon-El/Connor Kent's POV)

Connor had been enjoying his time at the gala. Sure, he missed Tim, but he didn't want to think about it. Thinking about it hurt. He just couldn't believe that-

"Hey, do you hear that?" Connors dad, Clark Kent, asked as he slightly cocked his head to the side. Jon stopped talking and started looking around, and Connor started listening more closely.

That sound, it was off from its normal resting rate, and it wasn't as quick as it often was whenever the source drank too much coffee, but Connor recognized it. It was Tim's heartbeat.

"Tim," he whispered.

His mom, Lois Lane-Kent, looked at him in confusion. "Sweetie, that can't be Tim. He's missing."

His Dad shook his head and clicked a button on his glasses frame. "No, I can hear it too. Tim's heartbeat is there. But somethings wrong. And almost all of the new heartbeats are off."

On the other side of the room, Bruce seemed to have figured out that something was wrong, and Connor could see him making a movement that he recognized to be him pressing the hidden button on the watch. Connor was about to follow the other supers actions, when his phone buzzed.

Connor didn't know what to think as he looked at the text message from Tim. On one hand, he was so happy that Tim was OK! On the other hand, what the fuck?!??!? Connor didn't really understand, but he put away his phone and went to go find Tim.

[Timeskip]

Connor sighed when his phone buzzed in his pocket again-but he still didn't know whether it was in relief or exasperation.

He opened the text message and looked at what Tim sent him.

[TEXT FROM TIM 2]

Connor let out an exasperated sigh. At this rate, he would never be able to find Tim. Quickly, he started walking in the other direction, terrified that he wouldn't see his best friend again.

As he walked, he eventually began to hear the ticking of clocks-to many clocks. Then the sound of Tim's heartbeat flooded his senses again, and he perked up. 'TIM!' he thought happily. He had really missed him.

Ever since Tim had gotten kidnapped by the Joker, he had been frantically searching for him, calling in favors, putting out missing posters, threatening villains, even begging Lex for help; You see, Lex had a rule-take it easy on the young heroes. Don't hurt kids. Sure, bruises and scratches happened sometimes, but Lex went out of his way to not badly hurt children.

Those few months had taken a major toll on him. He had grown bitter, brutal, angry, withdrawn, and cruel. When up against most powerful supers, he didn't pull his punches. People had become, terrified of him. He was so close to losing the title of Superboy! But now that he had found Tim, everything was going to be alright!

Connor began running in the direction of the heartbeats, and only skidded to a stop when he heard music. It seemed to be playing on an old record player, and there was the slightest, almost perfectly silent, sound of static. Remaining cautious, he silently crept towards the noise, eager to see his friend again, but afraid something was wrong.

Then he heard the singing. Tim didn't sing. So why was it in Tim's voice?

``Every time it rains, it rains, pennies from heaven,``

That song, Connor didn't know Tim knew that one. Connor slipped behind a box, and watched as the old record player continued to play the old song.

``Don't you know each cloud contains, pennies from heaven,``

That was, odd. It didn't sound like it was coming from a real, living human. It sounded like it was coming from the record. Carefully, Connor turned off the record, and removed it from a record player to get a better look at it.

"Holiday Records," he muttered as he read the label on the back of the record. Then he flipped it over to the front side. It read, "Pennies from Heaven, 1936". Gently, Connor set it back on the record player, and clicked the hidden button on his tie.

"Oracle, you there?" He asked as he pressed a button on his ear bud. There was a slight bit of static, then Oracles clear voice sounded through his comm system.

"Hey Kon, what's up?" She asked. Connor looked towards the record, making sure the hidden cameras on him were focused on it.

"What do you think of this record?"

"It's a classic from 1936. I always did like that song."

"I think it's evidence for Tim's disappearance. I could of sworn I heard Tim's voice, singing. And I got some odd texts from Tim. I'll put this in an evidence bag, you hack the buildings security. I think Tim's in the building."

"Connor, that's impossible. Tim hasn't been seen in Gotham in months!" Oracle insisted. Connor sighed and slipped on some gloves before putting the record back in its sleeve.

"Well, maybe someone doesn't want him to be found. Maybe that someone is the Joker. Maybe it's the Riddler. Maybe Tim is going into hiding to protect himself. But either way, we got to find him. We have to know that he's ok."
