Summary
Shuri Udaku, first-year PhD student at the University of South Florida, had been chosen for an expedition into the Gulf of Mexico for her work on deep-sea marine ecology.
One night on the ship, she begins to hear stories about a terrifying creature that lurks in the depths, waiting to kill anyone who trespasses into its territory.
