Summary
Diluc may have been wary of strangers stepping into Mondstadt’s walls, but he always treated them well. Such was his duty as the owner of the Angel’s Share. Besides, he knew he had nothing to fear from Alhaitham and Kaveh. Evildoers usually tried to make their presence as unnoticeable as possible, and by sundown, there wasn’t a single person within the city who was unaware of Alhaitham and Kaveh’s relationship. They were the talk of the town, so when Diluc saw a blond-haired man that fit Amber’s description – pretty, can’t stop talking – he knew who he was dealing with.
“I swear he’s obsessed with me it’s almost gross,” Kaveh said, nursing his fourth glass of dandelion wine. “He was like Kaveh, please, come to Mondstadt with me, I’ll miss you so much if you don’t… Can you get any clingier?”
“I suppose not,” Diluc commented.
