Chapter Text

It's still a normal 'weird' day in the Hotel since the wave of the glitching monstrosity. The wave started around...few months ago, so the entities are getting used to it.

Though, they still questioning that. "Why would this events occur?" "Who done this?". Well, nobody seems to know the answer.

Until one day...

Eyes, one of the securities and the only scientist in the Hotel, went to Halt's hallway to discuss the case research that they both discussed last week.

It didn't take much time for them to found Halt's hallway since they knows that his hallway was right at Door 7. Sometimes, people (who came across the Hotel) or entities might gain access to Halt's hallway, sometimes they don't.

But for Eyes, the hallway always open it's door for them.

As they reached Door 6, lights started to flicker until 3-4 seconds long, indicating that they have the access to Halt's hallway on the other side of Door 7.

They opened Door 7, and that's when they entered Halt's hallway. Of course, Halt's hallway is dark but luckly, he placed and lighted few candles in the hallway to brighten up the way (he only did this when other entities he knows present in the hallway) The candles only blown away if there's a foreign person or entity entered his hallway.

They went to Halt's door room, and knocked it. Soon, a click can be heard from the other side of the door while a voice can be heard from inside.

"Get in, Eyes."

Eyes opened the door and found Halt standing in front of them.

"Did the case research makes any progress?" Halt asked.

"A little. I found out that the mysterious entity showed itself to Screech." Eyes responded while closing his door room.

"Really? How did the event chronology goes?" Halt asked in curiosity.

"Well, according to Seek, the event take place in the midnight, when the other entities are sleeping. Screech cannot sleep that time due to a nightmare. And that time, he saw his door room opened mysteriously, revealing yet an mysterious humanoid entity, standing still as it were a statue..." Eyes explaining with a stern voice.

"Interesting..." Halt put a hand on his chin. "When did the event happened?"

"Three days ago, if I'm correct." They responded while crossing their arms.

"Okay, let me check it through my computer." Halt said while heading to his computer to turn it on.

"But, didn't your computer doesn't have the recording of the incident three days ago ? Plus, the security's monitor has the recording, so we should go in there to check it."

"Did you forget what I can do?" Halt turns his glimpse to them. Eyes soon realised what he meant by what he can do. Well, Halt in the first place, was prohibited along with other entities aside from the Boss Entities [Figure, Seek] and Eyes themselves to enter the surveillance room. So he decided to use the smart, yet riskable move to do this as an attempt to help the others secretly by providing useful information and proofs from his analyzing skill and his talent also due to his anti-social behavior.

"My apologies, I forgot that you can do that."

Halt nodded for a sec. "It is rather normal to forget something you've been told first time, so I understand."

Halt then working on his 'stuff'. He manage to extract the same application copy that was used to observe the Hotel from the security's monitor. Soon, he hacked into the application to gain access to the monitor's screen. Eyes just observe what he does.

"Done. Time to check the recording from three days ago." He said, implying that he succeeded in gaining access to the monitor's screen.

He then searched the recording file three days ago. After 26 seconds in searching the file, he finally found the file, soon he copied the file and transfer the copied file to his document file.

"Okay, it's all set. Now I should delete the application before anything weird happened with the security cameras and the monitor." Halt said sternly. He deleted the application and goes to his document file and search for the file that he transfered a while ago.

"Now, let's see if we can find useful information about this case..." Eyes muttered. The file soon played.

[00.19 AM - Hotel]

The recording shows a closed door, implied to be Screech's door room with a closet near it. Nothing suspicious has been caught yet.

[00.23 AM  - Hotel]

Still in the same area, but weird static noises can be heard. Soon, the camera glitched and turned black for a sec then turned back normal. The recording reveals a tall and dark figure with magenta linearts in some parts of it's body standing in front of Screech's door room.

[00.24 AM - Hotel]

Screech's door room started to opened slowly with magenta linearts on the door knob, possibly because of the entity. Then, a scream can be heard from the inside of Screech's room.

"Whoever this entity is, I'll going to give it a good lesson." Eyes thought about giving the entity proper lesson to never haunt one of their friend.

[00.25 AM - Hotel]

The entity in the recording glitched the camera once more. The scream still continue, but each time it's getting louder. After a while, the scream's gone. Left the area with disturbing silence, while the glitch effects in the camera dissapears from the face of the recording.

[00.26 AM - Hotel]

Screech ran out from his room while shouting Seek's name. But Screech seemed to have one of his eye glitched exact with the same color as the entity.

Of course, this left Halt and Eyes completely stunned.

That entity not only gave him a spook, it also did something to him.

"Are you aware of the weird glitch in one of his eye?" Eyes asked in shook.

"I am aware of that." Halt replied. "I wonder if Seek are aware of this too."

"Doubt it, he never mention that when I asked what's going on with Screech."

"Things started to get real bad here-" Halt muttered only to be interrupted soon by Rush on the outside.

"Halt! You gotta see this! This is the most craziest thing that I ever seen!" Rush shouted in front of Door 7, hoping for response from Halt.

"Something bad must've happened. We need to check what's going on." Eyes said with a stern voice.

"Let's see what kind of incident awaits." Halt rushed off from his room and started to snap his fingers to manipulate the lights on Door 6.

On Rush's (along with Ambush) side, lights started to flicker longer.

After 3-4 seconds, Halt opened Door 7 only to saw Rush and Ambush standing outside with a horrified expression. Rare enough to see them like that.

"What incident this time?" Halt asked.

"Take a look for yourself, then you'll understand.." Ambush responded.

"Wh..What in the world happened here?!" Halt reacted with a horrified expression on his face while Eyes concerned on the current situation of Door 36.

Current situation in Door 36 is; some of the fallen chandeliers were glitched while few of the broken window in the hallway was gone mysteriously and was replaced with a wall covering the window. Some of the carpet's parts was glitched as well. And strangely, no black hands appeared through the broken windows.

"I don't know man, this looks so horrifying! Since the incident that involves Screech and that weird entity, weird things started to happened more often!" Rush still looks horrified by the situation. "I nearly died by tripping on one of the glitched chandeliers!"

"How could you almost died by tripping on one of the chandeliers?" Eyes asked in confusion.

"Look, Ambush and I have the same circulatory system, since we're siblings and shared the same species. Once we bleed, we can be killed. We even didn't know what's the impact if we were affected by the glitched chandelier! Either we suffered from burn wound and damned like a scrambled TV, or something far worse." Rush explained. Ambush just nodded at this explaination.

"Makes sense. What are you doing in Door 36 anyways?" Eyes questioned once more.

"Both of us having a running competition, from Door 30 to Door 37. But when we came across Door 36, first thing we saw was this mess. Rush nearly tripped over one of the fallen chandeliers due to him was too busy on thinking that he'll win the competition." Ambush explained the whole chronology of how they found out about this mess.

"Yeah, that's crazy- Hold on, did you just say; 'I nearly tripped because I was too busy on thinking that I'll won the competition?!'." Rush nodded but soon shouted at Ambush. "That's not true!"

"Yes it's true! That's what you all about! You literally put your ego first that you didn't even care anything about your surroundings anymore!" Ambush shouted to her brother. Eyes and Halt sweated due to their blazing fight beguns.

"No, I'm not!"

"Yes, you are!"

"Both of you, stop this immature fight!" A third voice appeared at their back.

"What the-?!" Halt shouted only to find that Seek standing still in front of Door 36 while crossing his arms. He observed things that happened in Door 36 then turned his gaze to Rush and Ambush.

"Rush, Ambush. I'm pretty sure both of you were the one who interrupted my business by speeding through the hallway." Seek said sternly with an annoyed look on his face. Rush and Ambush sweated. "Did I already told both of you to stop speeding through near my office?"

"Sorry about that Seek." Rush apologizing while rubbing his back head. "Yeah, we're sorry Seek, we'll not doing it again next time." Ambush follows up the apologizing sentence.

"Apology accepted. Now, did any of you get hurt?"

"No, we're fine. Thank you for paying attention to us." Halt said.

"Pretty glad to hear that. Remember, it's getting much more dangerous here so you must stay cautious about things around you." Seek reminds the other entities. Soon, Seek turned his gaze to Eyes.

"Eyes, did the case research has new proof that involves the anonymous entity?"

"Yes. But first, may Halt and I talk privately with you?"

"I wouldn't mind. Come with me." Seek replied. "Rush, Ambush. Call Figure immediately and bring him to my office."

Rush and Ambush nodded and immediately go through the hallway and make up their way to the library. Seek, Eyes and Halt then go to his office at Door 30 for having a private conversation.

As they reached Door 30, they entered his office. After they all got in, Seek shutted the door and lock it with his exclusive key, then sit on his office chair while letting them both to sit down at one of the available seat in front of his office desk.

"So." Seek started. "What do you want to discuss about?"

"We found out a strange thing about your adopted son." Eyes spoke up while Halt just nodded at the sentence.

"What is it?" Seek asked with curiosity.

"One of your adopted son's eye glitched. Exactly the same color as the anonymous entity." Eyes replied. Seek lowered his head a little and gone silent for a while.

"Sir, are you okay?" Halt broke the silence after 15 seconds later. Seek noticed that he was being called then he lifted his head towards Halt and Eyes direction.

"I'm sorry about that. I actually I didn't want to talk about it." Seek apologized politely. A look of distress started to become visible in his face. "Just seeing him with those looks...I just can't bear..." Eventually, Halt and Eyes who heard his sorrow muttering felt bad. Silence filled the room for a while as Seek slowly lowered his head down once again.

"..But may I ask, how did you know that? Did you saw him pass by and saw a glimpse on his left eye glitched?" Seek eventually spoke again, looking up to Halt and Eyes

"No, we didn't. We found out that one of your adopted son's eye glitched from a recording of the security camera." Eyes replied back. "I haven't see him today. Neither do Halt because he rarely goes outside. Right Halt?" Halt gives a response with a head nod.

"...I see." Seek responded. He then muttered something under his breath. Eyes and Halt seems to be clueless about what he muttered.

After few seconds has passed, Seek started to spoke again.

"...Screech is currently resting in the Infirmary. You might can visit him, but just be careful when you made physical contact with him..."

Eyes and Halt stunned. What does he meant by 'be careful when making physical contact with him'? They wanted to ask, but they didn't feel like doing it, so they scrap the thought.

"Okay, we'll be careful. We promise." Eyes promised. "Thank you for having a private conversation with us, we really appreciate it." 

"You're welcome." Seek replied.

Soon, loud door knocks can be heard from outside. Seek then got up and went to the door and unlock it. Then, he saw Rush and Ambush, along with Figure standing in front of the door.

"Where are you two heading next?" Seek asked Rush and Ambush.

"We're going to visit Screech in the Infirmary." Ambush said. "We're going to see how's our little pal going!"

Seek then turned his gaze back to Halt and Eyes.

"Halt, Eyes. If you want to take a look at Screech's condition, make your way to the Infirmary along with Rush and Ambush."

"We're going with them." Halt responded. Soon they all are off to the Infirmary, leaving Figure and Seek alone.

"Figure." Seek started to spoke.

"What's the matter, Seek?" Figure asked.

"...We need to talk."

Chapter Text

Halt, Eyes, along with Ambush and Rush was on their way to the Infirmary. Instead of speeding through, Rush and Ambush slowed down due to Seek already told them not to speeding through his hallway and they currently in his hallway.

"Ugh, it almost like it takes forever to reach the Infirmary without speeding through..." Rush groaned.

"How...do you guys manage to convince Figure that fast to go to Seek's office?" Halt asked.

"Well, let's just say...we got a little help from one of our dear friend!" Ambush responded. Halt just confused. Who's the dear friend that she meant?

"Uh, who do you mean by our dear friend?" Halt asked. Ambush smiled a little.

"It's Guiding Light!" Ambush said as the flashback when they still on their way to call Figure plays in her head.

[Flashback]

[Note: Door 50 = The Library, Door 0 = The Reception Room]

After few minutes (of hell) in trying to reach the Library without speeding through, they finally reached the Library. Soon, they knocked the Library door.

"Hey Figure! It's us, me and Ambush!" Rush shouted from the outside, panting out of exhaustion.

"Seek wants to meet you!" Ambush follows up.

Soon, the Library door opened, and Figure is standing right in front of the door, making them surprised first before brushing it off.

"Seek wants to meet me you said? For what?"  Figure asked.

"I don't know! He just told us both to call you immediately." Rush said.

"Okay if that's what he wants." Figure replied. "But, where should I go?"

Rush and Ambush forgets that Figure is blind, so he didn't know where's the way to Seek's office.

"Shoot. I forgot that we need Light's help for guiding him to Seek's office." Ambush muttered while one of her hand was on her face.

The reason why they need Light's help was because she was patient at guiding and pretty good at it. If Rush and Ambush ought to be the one who guide him, they might accidentally speeding up, either leaving Figure behind or Figure might got tripped/hitted by few things such as broken chandeliers, pillars, etc. They might get annoyed easily and groans all the time while guiding him, so yeah...

"How the heck are we supposed to call her? She didn't have a phone! Plus, we're WAY too far from the Reception!"  Rush told his sister, who's now confused while Figure just standing still.

As they conversing to one and each other about the problem, something caught their attention.

Guiding Light rings a bell in front of Door 49.

After few seconds, the bell stops ringing. She lowered her hand that hold the bell. Ambush then approaches her.

"Thank goodness Light, you're here! We need your help!" Ambush said relievely.

"What kind of help do you all want to ask for?" Light asked.

"Can you help guide Figure to Seek's office? Seek recently calls him." Rush said.

"Seek's office huh? Okay then." Light responded calmly. Soon, she raises her hand that holds the bell as she spoke.

"Figure, follow the sound of the bell that I hold. Do you get it?" Light said. "Don't be afraid. I won't leave you behind." Figure just nodded.

Light immediately ring the bell as she goes outside. Figure immediately runs as he followed the ringing sound of the bell. Rush and Ambush follows from behind.

As Figure was close enough to the bell ring, he started to slow down. Rush and Ambush also did the same as they both continue to watch Figure from behind. They passed so many doors without notice, and finally reached Door 31.

But when they arrived at Door 31, Light stops ringing the bell.

"Rush, Ambush. Can you hold his hand and lead him to Seek's office? I need to go. There's a thing that I need to do, and it's very important. You guys can do it for both Figure and me, right?" She asked.

"Yes we can. Thank you for assisting Figure and us. It means a lot." Rush thanked Guiding Light. "Whatever the business is, hope you can finish it without any problem!" Ambush said.

Guiding Light smiled, then she leaves by teleporting to somewhere else. Rush and Ambush then hold Figure's hand while bring him in front of Seek's office.

"C'mon. Let's go Figure."

[Flashback ends]

After few minutes of walking endlessly without a break, they finally made it to the Infirmary.

As Rush opened the door, they saw Guiding Light was sitting on a chair along with the kids (Window, Timothy and Screech).

"Light, so this the business you meant by?"  Ambush asked.

"Correct!" She said. "Poor little Screech...He didn't deserve this..." She spoke again, started to change her tone to lower one.

As they came closer to take a look on Screech's condition, what they saw really had the worst of it.

Screech was laying down the bed, still having his left eye glitched, and now his right hand was corrupted by the glitch as well. As he pleads the glitches to stop hurting him, Window just stood next to her friend, her eyes was filled with tears while cried out his name and Timothy was worried sick about him.

Eyes and Halt was concerned and now confused. How will they cure Screech's glitchy disease? It seems that each day, the glitches was getting worse as it started to infected another part of his body that has yet to be infected last time.

"Screech!" Rush and Ambush approach him as they yelled his name out worriedly. They came closer as they shocked of what they saw.

"Light, what the hell is going on with him?! The glitch was spreading through his right hand!" Rush asked with a horrified look.

"I have no idea...My powers can't cure or prevent the glitches for spreading through.." Light told him.

"Did you try the herbs?" Ambush asked.

"I tried that before, it didn't work." Light told her with a sad face.

Halt who heard their conversation was dumbfounded.

("What the hell- even the herbs didn't do any impact to the glitch!")

"Eyes, I think our time was quite short. We need to find the entity as soon as possible, before the others becomes their victim." Halt said worriedly.

"We ran out of clues of where could it be. How are we supposed to find out the entity?" Eyes said. "I mean, if only there's an entity who's also there when the event happened...-"

Suddenly, it hit them.

They realised that there's a closet when they looked through the file when the event happened. Does that means...Hide and Jack might possibly knows about the events and recognize the looks of the entity?

"Halt! There's still hope! Remember that there's a closet when the event's chronology happened on the file?" Eyes told him, who's now shocked.

"Yes- hold on a second. Does that means Hide and Jack probably got a glimpse of the entity and can tell us more about it?" Halt asked.

"Let's just hope they did." Eyes muttered as they both stared on a closet in the Infirmary.

Meanwhile at Seek's office, Seek and Figure was having a serious discussion.

"I was worried right now. Screech's condition was getting worse every day. This morning, I saw his right hand was now infected by the glitches though it didn't visible before." Seek told Figure.

"I felt bad for Screech. How's he doing right now?" Figure asked while pitying Screech.

"Pretty bad. He keep cries out in pain. If we couldn't find any cure, I'm afraid he'll..." Seek told Figure, but soon paused his sentence and started to lowered his head while both of his hands covering his face.

"Don't worry, I'm pretty sure Eyes and the others can obtain the cure and finally discovers the identity of the entity." Figure said while trying to calm him down. "There's no way Screech would be losing to the glitches. He's a strong kid, I believe that."

"..I just remembered that I forgot to ask Eyes to show the proofs about the entity's appearance." Seek told him again. "They're way too far from the office now. What should we do?"

"Uh, what about checking the security cameras?" Figure asked Seek, as he started to remember the thought on going to the surveillance room for proofs.

"Right...Thank you Figure for reminding me about the thought." Seek thanks Figure.

"You're always welcome, Seek."

Soon, they both goes outside. As Seek locked the office door with his exclusive key, he put it back to his pocket as he hold Figure's hand and guide him to the surveillance room.

When they reached the surveillance room, Seek took a copy key of the surveillance room out of his pocket and unlocks the door. At this point, Seek told Figure to lower his body down while entering the surveillance room.

After they both were inside, Figure lifted his body again. Seek started to access through the security monitor, but soon shocked at what he saw when the menu screen shows up.

There's a notification that told him that the security monitor got hacked by someone, but the user was no longer taking control over the monitor and the monitor was currently safe.

"W-who the hell had the guts to do that?!" Seek shocked as he took two steps back.

"Seek, what's wrong?" Figure asked in confusion.

"Someone got the chance to hack the security monitor before...Could this possibly...the anonynous entity?" He told him.

"I don't know. But given how the anonymous entity's abilities act, did the monitor glitched?" Figure told him, but soon asked again to be sure about Seek's assumptions to be true.

"No." Seek responded.

"Then it could be someone else. Try to apply the anti-hack option on the settings to prevent that from happening again." Figure said.

"Good point." Seek agrees at the idea, though he's still annoyed about the fact an anonymous hacker started to take a 'negative' role on this problem.

("Great, now there is an anonymous hacker that comes to complicate the problem..")

Eyes and Halt knocked the closet door, hoping for response from Hide and Jack.

"Hide! Jack! Are you there?" Halt called out, gaining attentions from few entities on the Infirmary.

"We require your assistance!" Eyes follows up.

Soon, the closet door opened a little. There's a white eye peeking up from the inside.

"Um...What do you want...?" The entity asked with her voice barely audible, but it's a normal thing to every entities who came in contact with her.

"Hide! Are you and Jack resides in a closet near Screech's room three days ago?" Eyes asked the entity, who's now known by the name 'Hide'. Hide shook her head.

"I...I don't know...I kind of forgetting it." Hide muttered. "I'm sorry, if I'm not able to help..."

"It's okay, no need to apologize." Halt told her.

Hide gone silent for a while, seems to forgot about what is she going to say again.

"I-I wanted to tell you guys something, but I forgot..." Hide muttered. 

"What was it about again- oh...right.....Last time, I saw a mysterious entity in the middle of the night...They're so...glitchy looking..." Hide continues, as Eyes and Halt was shocked regardless of what they just heard.

"What did the entity do?!" Eyes asked, the sudden tone change shocks Hide for a while as she stuttered.

"A-as far I c-could remember, that time....t-they entered a room...Soon, I could hear a loud scream that kinda belongs to a little boy..I was t-too s-s-scared to check what's happening outside..." Hide told them stutterly.

"What happened next?" Halt asked.

"F-few seconds after the scream started to fade out, I saw the e-entity standing besides the closet that me and Jack inhabits that time. Then... I saw a glimpse of it...dissapeared...with glitchy effects." Eyes and Halt was stunned by this. Soon, they looked at each other's faces.

"Shoot. It can teleport." Eyes cursed.

"Our job has been complicated more..." Halt groanned.

Suddenly, Jack appears and started popped out from the closet with a worried face, making the others flinched for a second, especially Hide.

"J-Jack! Can you stop being sneaky when popping out of no where?" Hide asked, still flinched.

"No time to explain! The Courtyard was real bad damaged!" Jack told the others. The others are now shocked.

"What?!" They all shouted.

"How is that possible?!" Light asked while covering her mouth with an expression of horror.

"I literally have no idea! Just look at it by yourself, then if you have any idea who done this, that's probably the perpetrator." Jack told her hastily, before immediately jumps back to the closet and vanishes.

"I'm sorry guys...I-I have to go.." Hide told Eyes and Halt before closing the closet door.

"C'mon guys, we need to go to check it out!" Halt told them. The others agrees except Light and the kids (Screech, Timothy and Window).

"I need to keep an eye on the kids. Especially Screech. You guys go. Please stay safe." Light told them. The others nodded and immediately rush to the Courtyard.

"This is getting worse each time..." Eyes muttered.

Currently at the Courtyard's condition: An angelic statue on the right side got it's head glitched while the statue on the left side got almost every part of the statue but the head glitched. Majority of the lights that available in there was shattered and some of the trees was cutted off and glitched. The door to Door 90 was left opened by someone and some of the iron bars was been cutted off.

"Ugh, who dares to do such things?! I'll lunge their butt off once I found them!" Ambush running out of patience.

Halt started to take few steps back. Eyes noticed that and started to do the same, seeming as he wants to talk regardless about what the heck just happened.

"Eyes, I think I gotta go back to my room. I need to hack into the security monitor again to find out what did the anonymous entity did to the Courtyard last time, and their current whereabouts." Halt spoke.

"Didn't you already delete the application?" Eyes asked.

"Yes, I did delete it but I got to reinstall it again." Halt responded. "I got no time to lose, so I better go now."

"Are you sure you don't want me to accompany you?" Eyes asked again.

"Yes, I'm fine being alone, no need to worry. Just let me know if there's something weird happened again where you currently in!" Halt told them, soon backed off and ran back until he reaches Door 7. 

"Got it!" Eyes told him. They then started observes the condition at the Courtyard. Who knows they might got another proof about the whereabouts of this anonymous entity?

Eventually, Eyes notices a thing. All of their friends were here, in this Courtyard. As for some of them, like Halt, Seek, Figure, Guiding Light and the other kids were somewhere else by now.

But there is one entity they haven't seen yet, not even before the incident with Screech happens.

One entity that only they and some particular entities know about his existance.

Where could he be?

When Halt reach his room, he immediately turn on his computer. After the computer is finally turned on, he then extracts the application copy again and hacked into the application in order to gain access to the monitor's screen.

But this time, it didn't work. Seek already activated the anti-hack option on the security monitor's settings to prevent the monitor from getting hacked without Halt noticing it. Halt tries again but fails.

He decided to try again, but with different methods. He tried to disable the anti-hack. After few attempts, he finally did it and finally gain access to hack into the security monitor.

Meanwhile at Seek and Figure, who's now trying to observing the recording three days ago in the midnight, was distracted due to the security monitor was hacked again. Seek was dumbfounded by this.

"I-I thought the anti-hack was already been turned on?" Seek asks Figure, who's now shrugging.

Seek saw the monitor screen was currently on the settings tab. Seeing the anti-hack was disabled, he was even more dumbfounded than before.

("Whoever did this, I'm pretty sure they're a skilled one.") Seek thought.

Soon, the monitor screen no longer showing the settings tab, instead, it shows the recording of the entity in the courtyard few minutes ago before the Courtyard was damaged. Seek was concerned.

"What is the purpose of the entity in there?!"

"Seek?" Figure asked in confusion. "What's going on?"

"The entity just present at the Courtyard-" Seek told him, but soon interrupted by a loud slicing noises that comes from the security monitor's speaker.

Seek was now looking at monitor screen as he gasped at seeing what is happening at the Courtyard.

"That's it! This entity has gone too far. I'll end this case instant!" Seek spoke angrily.

"S-Seek? What is happening?!" Figure panicked, wanted to know what did the entity do until he could be this angry.

"The entity destroyed the Courtyard." Seek responded.

"They..WHAT?!" Figure shocked. "How the hell did they manage to destroy it?!"

"They manage to glitch, cut off some of the trees and glitched the statue. I think their strength was stronger than I expected." Seek muttered.

Seek was still kind of confused, why did the hacker sees this? Does that mean the hacker is trying to investigate as well? He didn't know.

("Is the hacker is on the good side and just wanted to help by investigating the previous events or..")

Halt on the other side, was deadhell shocked when viewing what happened with the Courtyard. The immense of strength, that was used to destroy such beautiful places and scenery as well as their home. What have they done?

Eyes and the others just got back from the Courtyard. Bad news is, Eyes haven't got any proofs about the entity's whearabouts.

"Oh, it's you guys..How's the Courtyard..?" Light noticed them already came back from the Courtyard with a horror expression on their faces.

"Almost completely wrecked. The trees was cutted off and some of them glitched, the statues were glitched as well, and not to mention the iron bars on the iron door which leads to Door 90." Rush told her, who's now gasped.

"How could someone be this cruel..?" Light responded with a frown on her face.

Without them noticing, someone is keeping an eye on them from afar as they speak.

"How's Screech?" Ambush asks her.

"He started to calm down a bit. I think that's a good news!" Light responded.

"Glad to hear that!" Ambush spoke, expressing her relief. Soon she turned to Screech. "When this case has solved and you finally recover from the glitchy disease, we'll going to play shooting darts again like we used to!"

"Hahaha, yeah!" Screech responded with a little smile on his face. His friends were relieved by saw his smiling face again.

Soon, the anonymous entity appears in front of the Infirmary's entrance. The others haven't notice that, until Eyes turned their gaze at the entrance.

"What are you doing here?!" Eyes yelled at the entity, catching the attention of the other entities.

"Eyes, who do you speak with-" Ambush ask them but soon gasped to see the anonymous entity appears at the entrance.

"That's the entity!" Rush told them. "We could not let you escape!"

Screech started to scream as he started to get an awful headache because of the entity's appearance, making the others worried while also filled with the feeling of hatred towards the entity who's the cause behind all of the weird calamity.

The entity started to take few steps back, but soon dashes to Eyes' direction. The others were panicked.

"Eyes! Don't just stand there, dodge them!" Rush shouted worriedly.

"I have other plans. But I'm grateful for the heads up before I got assaulted." Eyes told him. They soon dodged the entity and immediately use their psychic powers to hold them.

"Light! Use the Crucifix!" They told her. Light who heard this gets up from where she sat, summonning a Crucifix on her hand. She use the Crucifix, with hope that it'll drag them to hell.

It didn't work.

As the Crucifix dropped down to the floor, Light gasped in fear, and so the others.

("Why- Why it didn't work..?")

The entity made a psychotic grin, as they finally remove themselves from Eyes' psychic abilities. Instead of attacking Light, they stared at Eyes.

They immediately dashing through, successfully knocking Eyes down unconscious from the back. Rush takes action.

"No, you'll not escape with them!" Rush yelled out as he dashes towards the entity. The entity dodged and soon launching a glitched fireball to him. Rush was paralyzed temporary while started to glitching as well.

"Rush!" Ambush ran towards her brother. Rush is still struggling to move, but he can't. The more he moves, the more paralyzed he'll become. The effect could last for two days if he keeps on moving.

The entity started to use a psychic abilities at the unconscious Eyes. Soon they both teleported, dissapears from the others sight.

Screech started to fell unconscious as the entity dissapears. The other kids gasped as they call his name. Light who realised the call of the kids immediately take a look on Screech's condition.

"Screech!" Light called out.

"Light...Do you think he'll be fine..?" Window asked. Light can only frown for a while but soon reassure her that he'll be fine. Though, Light still confused. Why the Crucifix didn't work on them? The chains were yet to be present as she use it.

("Does that means...The entity has the same level of strength along with Seek and Figure?")

As Halt continues to check any files that contains the entity's appearance on certain occasions, he came across the recent recorded events. Where the entity appears at the Infirmary's enterance.

He gasped as he saw the entire chronology, even the process where Eyes got knocked off unconscious.

"No...It can't be.." He muttered, started to covering his face with his hands.

Seek and Figure did saw the events too and was shocked.

"H-how are we supposed to track the entity's location?! Even worse, they got Eyes with them.." Seek asked Figure, who's even dumbfounded than ever.

"I'm- I'm running out of ideas now..." Figure muttered. Seek who's also dumbfounded bangs his head into the wall for 7 times.

"I think we should go into the Infirmary whilist checking the others condition.." Seek told him after banging his head into a wall. Figure agrees, and so they goes out.

("I wonder...Why Halt wasn't there with them..?")

"Ugh..." Eyes groaned, trying to see where are they currently in. They were currently tied in a glitched chair. Weirdly, the glitch didn't affect them.

"What is this place..?"

"You're awake, at last." a voice appeared. "It was very rude of me knocking you that time, but I can't make you obedient to me without doing it.

"Obedient for what? To make me follow you into this endless realm?" Eyes snorted. "I'm completely have no idea about your identity, do you mind telling your name?"

"Yes...You got it right about my purpose on knocking you unconscious back then..And I'm sincerely apologize about not introducing myself..How rude of me."

"You may call me Glitch. And welcome to my realm of endless boundaries."

[Flashback]

"Ugh..." Eyes groaned, trying to see where are they currently in. They were currently tied in a glitched chair. Weirdly, the glitch didn't affect them.

"What is this place..?"

"You're awake, at last." a voice appeared. "It was very rude of me knocking you that time, but I can't make you obedient to me without doing it.

"Obedient for what? To make me follow you into this endless realm?" Eyes snorted. "I'm completely have no idea about your identity, do you mind telling your name?"

"Yes...You got it right about my purpose on knocking you unconscious back then..And I'm sincerely apologize about not introducing myself..How rude of me."

"You may call me Glitch. And welcome to my realm of endless boundaries."

[Flashback ends]

"Pray tell me. Why did you assault Screech?" Eyes asked, slowly regaining their consciousness. Glitch suddenly lowered down his head, then looked back up with a confused look.

"...Who...is Screech?" Glitch asked. Eyes soon balled their hands.

"Don't act like you don't know anything! Tell me. Why do you do that to him?! And also what the hell did you do to the Courtyard?!" Eyes snapped. Glitch eventually glitched and shook his head as he looks back up.

"Ah...It's the tentacle haired boy, am I correct?" Glitch responded with sarcastic tone, "finally" knowing the answer. This just makes Eyes even angrier. It feels like Glitch pretending to not know who Screech is to piss them off. "And that beautiful garden-like outdoor."

"You knew it all along, damn it!" Eyes cursed. "He is the victim you assaulted previously. Or have you assaulted another recently?"

"I have not assaulted another resident." Glitch responded. "Maybe I did, who knows."

This response did make Eyes tremble in anger.

"I have no time to deal with your tomfoolery!" Eyes responded harshly. "Why do you do that to an innocent child who did nothing to you?!"

Glitch only remain silent after hearing this questions. After throwing a whole tantrum to Glitch, Eyes can only inhale and exhale before starting to spoke again.

"What did he ever done to you?"

"Who did you assault other than him-?"

The atmosphere in the realm turns silent after they ask these questions.

When Seek and Figure enters the Infirmary, the others immediately takes notice on their arrival.

"Seek, Figure! In here, quick!" Ambush said. Seek and Figure then rush into her direction but soon saw Rush, who currently seems to avoid making movements.

"I never thought the paralysis could be this bad..." Seek muttered.

"What's going on with Rush?" Figure asked, clueless about what's happening with Rush.

"Got paralyzed." Ambush responded. "I don't know what to think anymore. First, Screech and now Rush...What is this entity so vengeful of?"

Seek then observing his surroundings. Soon something popped in his mind.

("Halt..")

"Ambush." Seek spoke up. "Do you happen to know where is Halt?"

Ambush thinks for a while before giving him her response.

"I have no idea where he could be right now, but he's already went missing when we're in the Courtyard last time." Ambush responded. This just added Seek's suspicions.

"Excuse me, but did you just ask where is Halt?" A voice asked behind Seek. Seek turned his head as he saw Guiding Light accompany an unconscious Screech along with Window and Timothy.

"Uh, yes. Do you know where he is?" Seek asked.

"Well, last time he passed the Infirmary and I took notice of his arrival, so I ask where will he go, and he said he wanted to go back into his room, it seems like he's doing something because he hasn't returned since." Light answered. 

"Ah, I see." Seek responded. Soon he sat down to see a glimpse of his unconscious adoptive son.

("Oh Screech. What have happened to you...")

"How long are you going to make me wait for you answer these questions?" Eyes asked. "Don't say you forget the questions." Glitch soon shakes his head before he spoke.

"...In- In fact I did not. I remember." Glitch said. "But before anything happens, again..I will say this that might answer probably all of your questions."

"What truth?" Eyes asked. They would raise an eyebrow while asking this question if they had one. Eventually, Glitch stepped in and untie the rope that was tied around them at the chair.

"I never mean to bring you here. I wasn't supposed to. I did not wish any of this happened." He said. When the rope is fully unleashed, Eyes stood up. "I'm doing things out of my control, and I don't know who's been controlling me these days. I didn't mean to attack Screech, nor that one friend of yours, I assume, and so far as tying you here."

"If you did not mean it but you did it anyways, why don't you apologize and try to explain everything?" Eyes asked in suspicion. "How did you even know Screech's name then?"

"I heard various conversation involving that kid, so that's why." Glitch said. "And about the apologizing case, it's quite hard. Sometimes when I acted out of my control, I forgot what should I do."

Eyes can only think for a while before proceeding to spoke again. "Are you sure you're not lying to me?"

"No, I did not-" Glitch answered his question but soon put his hand on his face and looks down before started to laugh with a low, distorted voice.

"Hello?" Eyes asked. "Are you okay?"

"...Would you stop asking those stupid questions." Glitch suddenly spat, seems annoyed.

"What the...-" Eyes muttered but soon been tossed to a wall.

"Only one answer you need to know that applies to all of your stupid questions, which is...None of your concern!" Glitch answered harshly. He soon throws them to the ground.

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Eyes asked in confusion and a pinch of rage while trying to get back up but soon realises something.

("Is this what he meant by: not being himself?")

"You'll be a hassle enough if you get in my way on dominating the hotel. So enjoy yourself locked for eternity in this realm." Glitch said casually while walking towards their direction. As Eyes finally get back up, they ran towards him as they punched his face.

("Yep, it is what I think it is. He's much more of a prick in this state than before.")

As Glitch groanned in pain, Eyes immediately kicks him in stomach which leads him to fall down and hit the ground.

"Now we're even." They said. Soon Glitch snapped his hands. Without Eyes' realization, an entity grips them from the back.

"What the hell?!" Eyes spat as they turned their back, only to be shocked by who it is.

Shadow.

"He should keep you busy. Good luck in beating him up." Glitch said as he walked away.

"Wh- Shadow too?! What have you done to Shadow as well?!" Eyes snapped in anger.

"He hasn't told you yet? Oh what a shame..." Glitch said with a mocking tone. Eyes' blood boiled after hearing this from Glitch.

"He's my friend. And a friend willingly do anything for their friend, right?" Glitch responded, but soon ends his response with a manical laughter.

"You-!" Eyes spat in rage. But soon been thrown away by Shadow.

"Nobody messes with Glitch. Those who dare will suffer bigger consequences." Shadow said with an emotionless expression.

("Shoot. Who will even find me in here..") Eyes thought in their mind.

After few minutes later, Rush immediately gets up from the bed. Ambush who saw this immediately asked him. "Rush! Is the paralysis effect gone?"

"Well yeah I guess..Now we can continue our investigation at searching for Eyes." Rush muttered as they both stepped out from the Infirmary.

After they both left the room, Seek immediately get up and spoke to Light.

"I will go now and search for Halt, please say 'hello' to Screech for me when he's awake, will you?" Light just gave a little nod. Seek soon calls Figure and they both exited the Infirmary as well.

Both Seek and Figure ran back to the surveillance room. After they reached it, Seek soon opened the door with his exclusive key as he see the monitor screen that currently shows the view around Door 6.

("The hacker haven't returned the monitor back to normal...what did they actually do?") Seek thought while looking at the monitor screen.

As Seek was observing through monitor screen, suddenly the monitor screen switched the camera that previously showed the view around Door 6 to Door 43 where Ambush and Rush currently located in.

Seek notice this change as well and decided to observe them where will they go...as long until Halt switched the view once again.

"Is there any progress on searching the entity?" Figure asked. Seek turned his head to him.

"Not quite, but for now we could only observe Ambush and Rush on their journey." Seek responded as he turned back his head to the monitor screen.

"Eyes! Where are you?!" Rush shouted, hoping for a response. He keep shouting Eyes' name as they both walked together. But there's no response.

"Rush, this is stupid!" Ambush warned him as she stopped walking. "We literally saw them getting captured by that entity and just teleport out of the place! My guess, this entity wouldn't be too stupid to left Eyes in the abandoned rooms so they could proceed...whatever their plan was."

"So, by what you said, you mean Eyes is nowhere in these abandoned rooms, right?" Rush said sternly as he stopped in the middle of road. Ambush gave a light nod.

"For now, we could try to observe glitchy things. Who knows there's any hints for us to find out the entity's hideout?" Ambush said. Rush took notice of what did Ambush just said.

("Hideout..?")

"Ambush, that's it!" Rush shouted abruptly which shocks Ambush. "We need to find their hideout!"

"That's what I literally said-" Ambush muttered before she let out a low sigh.

"There's no time for games, we need to move fast, otherwise something bad might happened again." She continued. Rush nodded as they continued their journey.

"Shadow..."

"He's...a fellow Hotel resident, just like the rest of us.."

"..."

"....."

"He...hasn't watch his younger sister for days, that I'm sure, she might be lonely, that she stayed in the Infirmary with Timothy, just to watch Screech's condition..."

"She...didn't even tell me anything about his dissapearance."

"Perhaps...She's oblivious?"

"....."

"...Knowing that....where he even was that time?"

"...As far as I remember, he didn't show up anymore at the Hotel before the incident with Screech."

"...As far as I know...Not even Seek himself know about him. Only I, Halt and his sister's friends know about him."

"The day he started to dissapear from the Hotel...Did he crossed paths with him and befriended each other, got manipulated and nobody knows?"

"No..he has trust issues and always reconsidering twice when friending or knowing someone and also too hard to be manipulated by anything."

"He also care and protect entities he cares about if they are in danger and wouldn't hesitate to deny any plans that can put entities' life in danger, even if he didn't think so."

"My thoughts running wild."

"....."

"...As for you..Do you consider him...a friend, huh?"

"...If so..."

"....."

"..Sorry Glitch,"

"I think you're sorely mistaken."

"Put yourself up together!" Eyes ordered to the raging Shadow before they got kicked down to the ground.

"You really are a menace to Glitch's plan, aren't you?" Shadow said sternly.

"What they tried to do is wrong! That's why I'm going to stop them! And yet you as their 'sidekick' just literally support their malicious acts?" Eyes retorted.

"Why don't you shut your mouth instead?! What he's trying to do is right and you're just the one who can't see the right point of this plan!" Shadow spat, losing his patience.

"..I'm pretty sure that your little sister will be so dissapointed in you." Eyes snapped back, which cause Shadow to froze. His sister..did they just mention that?

"You weren't there for her when she grieving at her friend, who's currently injured, thanks to your... 'friend' who's literally put peoples live in danger."

Shadow soon kneeled. ("Do they mean...I have befriended someone who just make my sister and her friend..suffer?")

"He.." Shadow started. "He really did that..?"

Eyes just gave a light nod. Shadow soon gaze on the ground.

"So that means..all those things he said...was a lie, isn't it? About rulling the hotel and change it into a better ones...No..That means he ought to rule the hotel all for the sake of amusement and trying to make everyone's life hell...!"

"...In other words, I think he's trying to replace someone in charge of it." Eyes grab a conclusion based on Shadow's words noting about Glitch's plan. "He decided to assault Screech as a hostage to tell Seek that he's waiting for him to arrive and gave him the position, knowing Screech is Seek's adoptive son."

"Damn it! What have I done...?"  Shadow cursed, seems to regret his desicion in supporting Glitch in the plan.

"Hey." Eyes called. "I think you can help by telling where is the exit on this realm."

Shadow soon look above at Eyes.

"The exit..Hold my hand. I know a shortcut."

As Rush and Ambush arrived at Door 36, the previous area where Rush almost tripped down on one of the glitched chandeliers, something shocks them.

Those chandeliers, they all being repaired back to where they supposed to at. They no longer glitched. The black hands are present now. And the windows..they're back.

"Did..did Seek take care of this?" Rush questioned while Ambush remains silent, implies that she doesn't know anything and still shocked by the sight.

But, something isn't right.

Now Door 36 is gone.

And they have yet to realise that.

"Rush..." Ambush started. "I think we've been watched."

Thrills shivering down to their spine as they investigate around the area. Once they noticed Door 36 is gone, a glitched figure showed up in front of them.

Glitch.

"You...Where is Eyes." Rush gritted his teeth as soon Glitch laughed.

"They're doing just fine, having fun in a place that I can't tell you." This response indeed makes them upset.

"You'll pay for kidnapping Eyes and assaulting Screech!" Ambush yelled out as she and Rush dash to attack Glitch.

Glitch handles them easily and soon throw them both to the ground. But they didn't surrender as they did this attempt a couple times with different formation.

Since Glitch sure is upset with their childish acts, he pulled out a dual glitched blade and fend their attack off, which makes them both got throwed to a wall, eventually makes them bleed.

Ambush realised that it's only a matter of time until Glitch finished them both off since they both can be killed once they bleed.

("Look, Ambush and I have the same circulatory system, since we're siblings and shared the same species. Once we bleed, we can be killed.")

Rush's words makes it clear. Their lives won't last long.

"Man, I think we let our guard down." Rush muttered as he huffed. "I guess we're no different at being careless."

"Now we could just wait until the time's out, then they'll finish both of us." Ambush muttered.

Rush lets out a dry chuckle as Glitch walked upon them. After he stands before them, he lifts his dual blade, preparing to finish them off.

"This is your demise. Farewell."

As he swing his dual blade to finish them off, his attempt was interrupted by a beam which blast him off to Door 38. Rush and Ambush was shocked to saw him getting blasted away as they turned their head back in position, only to saw who just saved their lives.

"Hold on..Eyes?!" Ambush muttered but soon shouted when she recites Eyes' name.

"Rush, Ambush! Shoot, what happened to both of you, you guys fricked up!" Eyes asked their condition as they ran toward their direction while Shadow then came afterwards.

"Nah, we're fine as long we didn't got blasted from behind." Rush scoffed as he tried to get up. As both of them succeeds in getting up, a blast can be heard fron the distance.

"It didn't took him long enough to boost up." Eyes muttered. "You guys go, I'll hold him off."

"We can't just leave you here! You might have died!" Rush shouted. "It is a lot better if you come with us." Ambush nodded, agreeing with Rush.

"I'll be fine, I can take care of myself. Both of you were the ones who need to watch your backs for sudden attack. You guys really messed up bad." Eyes told them. "Now, go! Shadow, teleport them back to the Infirmary."

Shadow soon hold both of their hand and teleport both of them out Door 36. Eyes raised their guard as they peformed a fighting stance.

"You just let them escape? That was a shame.." Glitch said blandly. "But it's no longer matter. As I have you, who came to participate into this death match!"

"Pull yourself up together! What has gotten into you?" Eyes told him. "I know you didn't mean any of this, but atleast can you defeat whoever control yourself?"

"Huh. What did you even mean by that? I'm in full control of myself." Glitch said confusedly.

("Ugh, there's no use in trying to convince him these things.") Eyes thought. ("The only thing matter the most now, is to make him get back to his senses!")

"Nevermind what did I just said earlier." Eyes muttered. "The point is, you will not taking control of this hotel, not on my watch!"

Eyes activates a psychic terrain, which could boost their power up. They ran to his back to strike him from the back. Glitch who was dead-confused soon been striked from the back using few of the fallen building bricks that was been controlled by telekinesis.

Glitch who was throwned away soon lashes out his dual blade as he stab them into the ground to hold himself so he didn't got thrown to a wall.

"Pretty agile, aren't you?" Glitch complimented. "But don't get drowned by that one, this is not the best you have seen from me yet!"

Glitch dashes at a high speed towards them as they attack Eyes continuously using his dual blade while Eyes only dodges them. At a certain point, Eyes stopped his movements using psychic and thrown him to the ceilling.

Fortunately for Glitch, he uses the opportunity to strike from above. He dashes as he direct one of his dual blade to them. The strike successfully hit them as it causes a massive explosion. The explosion was accompanied by a massive purple geomatric ring that was emerged from the fog as it breaks the psychic terrain.

"Thank gosh! They've escaped their demise..." Seek said, referring to Rush and Ambush. "And glad to see that Eyes' doing well."

"I think we have to visit Rush and Ambush in the Infirmary." Figure suggested. Seek agreed with the idea and immediately dashes out from the surveillance room.

As they reached the Infirmary once again, both of them entered the Infirmary. To see both Ambush and Rush was sitting on a stool, while being patched up by Guiding Light.

"Rush, Ambush! Are you both okay?" Seek asked.

"We're- we're fine." Ambush answered stutterly while looking down. 

"Light, is Screech okay?" Figure asked Light, who's still patching both of the injured siblings.

"So far, his condition remains stabilized, but he has yet to wake up.." Light muttered, while Figure could just looked down.

Seek soon looked to Shadow, who's currently standing in the corner of the Infirmary while corssing his arms while being surrounded by other kids (Timothy and Window, his younger sister).

"Shadow.." Seek started. Shadow catch his attention to the voice who just recites his name. "Thank you for getting both of them out of the area." 

"You're welcome, sir- hold on, how did you-" Shadow responded but soon been cutted off.

"Through observing the cameras in the rooms." Seek responded. "I believe this is what you wanted to ask, yes?"

"Well, yes." Shadow rubbed his head.

"So, Eyes manage to escape from Glitch?" Light asked Rush and Ambush, referring to the time where Glitch kidnapped the unconscious Eyes.

"Yes. It is such a relief to found out that they're okay." Rush muttered. Light only smiled as she turned to Seek.

"Seek, have you found out where is Halt now?" She asked.

"No. But Figure and I still trying to search for him." Seek responded.

"Wherever he is, I hope he's doing well." Light muttered.

Halt who just found out that Eyes finally stepped back again at The Hotel, feel relieved that his friend was okay. He is currently still observing Glitch's duel with Eyes through his computer. However when the explosion occurs, everything went foggy, making Halt worries about their condition after the explosion.

"Eyes?" Halt called as he tried to zoom the camera over to see if any shadows of them emerges in the fog of dust.

Soon, a figure emerges and a stand still. But it wasn't Eyes. It's obviously Glitch. He stands up using the help of the his dual blade that he stab in the ground to help him stand.

"Huh-? No...Not that entity again...!" He muttered as he zoom the camera out a bit. However, his computer almost ran out of battery, eventually sending a notification to his monitor screen. Because of that, he needs to find his charger cable to charge his computer because he forget and didn't organize where he put his charger cable.

At that time he accidentally pressed a key on his keyboard that reveal his room through the camera when closing the notification that pops out in his monitor screen, which he didn't realise due to him focusing to search for his charger cable.

Meanwhile in Door 36, Glitch walked up to Eyes, who's still struggling to stand.

"Is this all you got?"  Glitch asked.  "How pitiful. I expected more."

"Ha..ha.." Eyes lets out a dry laugh. "I'm not done with you yet."

"Heh. Determined enough? Then come at me with all of your might!" Glitch shouted. "Let me see what good it does you!"

Eyes scoffed for a while, before proceeds to use telekinesis to control the other fallen building bricks, before crafting into a giant ball and throw it to Glitch. Glitch soon cut the ball easily using his dual blade.

Some of the building bricks that has been cutted off was thrown into the black hands. But soon Eyes dashes in front of him and punching him to the wall.

Seek on the other hand, who got knocked a bit thanks for the effect that was caused by few of his massive black hands got hit by the bricks immediately bid his farewell as he dashes out from the Infirmary, leaving everyone behind. He ran and ran throughout the rooms and hallways.

But once he saw the surveillance room, he thought something before decided to enter the room for a while.

("Maybe I should give it a try this one time again..")

As he enters the room and stares the screen, he gasped.

"This room...Isn't this Halt's room?! Hold on, I don't remember a camera being place over there-" Seek said with a shocked expression before cutting his speech abruptly.

"No..unless it's..."

Seek was eye widened.

"Halt...was the hacker this whole time?!"

Eyes and Glitch still continue their duel. The duel has been for long, and yet nobody refuses to surrender.

As they distance theirselves, they both dashed at the same direction which causes them to hit each other. An explosion was caused once again and a fog of dust covering them once again.

On this state, Eyes was kneeling down. Blood was all over their uniform. While Glitch still manages to stand up.

Glitch walks upon their direction as he directs one of his blade to them.

"Farewell."

A loud slash can be heard. As the slash sound echoed through the hallway, a figure watching from the distance while walking onto them.

Glitch looked satisfied and very positive that Eyes already dead by now. But yet, Eyes still manage to survive that slash due to them covering theirselves using few piece of the building bricks that was assembled together. Of course Glitch turned out to be very upset.

When the figure arrives, he immediately controlled one of the black hands to grab Glitch amd prevent him from causing further harm. At first, Glitch shocked for a while but soon, that shocked expression turned into satisfied look.

"Ah. The manager of the Hotel." Glitch said blandly. "You've finally arrive before my eyes! Where have you been this whole time? Hiding behind closed doors?"

Seek who heard this just rolled his eye while look at Eyes, who's currently swipes all the dust in their uniform.

"You're searching me this whole time?" Seek said sternly.

"Yes..Give me the position of the manager hotel. And I will set your adopted son free from his misery." Glitch offered as he formed a wide grin.

"Seek! Don't gave him the position!" Eyes shouted from the distance. Seek only looked down.

("...")

As for Halt...After finding his charger cable and charge his computer, was eye widened to saw that the camera in his computer reveals his room.

"Damn it! I must have pressed the wrong button!" Halt cursed as he tried to access back the application, but soon stopped the attempt.

("...Wait. I have got their current whereabouts and finding what have he done to the Courtyard itself. Why do I even need to do these things again?") Halt thought. ("Others might have take notice of my sudden dissappearance and I can't reveal this job I've been working on for months!")

("...Right, I was so fanatic in keeping my job a secret because I don't want to show things off so I wouldn't be begged by some to show how I do it in fear of they'll to use it for wrong...

...I need to prevent it from happening at all costs.")

Halt immediately shutted down his computer and ran out from his room. When he's running to reach Door 36, Jack and Hide eventually made contact with him through the closet.

"Halt! Where are you going?" Jack called out. Halt stopped walking.

"I have to go to Door 36." Halt told them.

"I see. Why did you suddenly dissappeared at the Courtyard?" Jack asked again. Halt trembled for a second but soon calmed himself down.

"Doing something important." Halt covering what did he done in his room the whole time.

"That long..?" Hide spoke out.

"Well yes." Halt lets out a quick response. "Gotta go now!"

"Goodbye!" Jack and Hide shouted to the running Halt, who's quickly leaving them behind.

"Ey, wanna check Door 36 as well?" Jack offered.

"Uh, sure..." Hide muttered.

After then, they both goes back into the closet and transport theirselves in Door 30 (due to them can't access the closets in Door 31-36, so they had to walk all the way there).

"Hide, you're staying here, right?" Jack asked as he get himself out from the closet.

"Y-yeah..." Hide muttered, lowering her voice.

"Okay got it! I won't be gone for long!" Jack reassures them as he walked away from the closet.

Door 31, 32, 33...

34...

"Finally! Door 35!" Jack shouted to the ceilling. As continued walking to find the real door which was accompanied with blue-tinted lights.

But this time, he can't find any doors with the blue lights.

"Wait, what?" Jack muttered. He tried to search again but the result remains the same, no progress.

"That's strange. It should've available on one of these doors!" Jack muttered in confusion. He tried open all of the doors, but it's not working.

"I need to inform this to Halt." Jack thought as he exited Door 35 and ran back to the closet in Door 30.

As he arrived in front of the closet, he knocked the closet before entering.

"Hide! We need to inform Halt!" Jack said. Hide was shocked by the sudden tone.

"Wh-what's the matter?" Hide stuttered.

"Door 36 is inaccessible!" Jack informed which makes Hide shocked. "Do you know where he is by now?"

"I th- think he's on Door 19." Hide responded.

"Good, let's transport!" Jack immediately closed the closet as they transported to one of the closets in Door 19.

Halt still running in Door 19 but soon interrupted by sudden outburst by Jack and Hide.

"Wait, Halt, stop!!" Jack shouted.

"Don't interrupt me! I have to be there before it's too late!" Halt responded hastily.

"Door 36 was inaccessible!" Jack jumped out from the closet and immediately blocked his way. Halt was stunned.

"H-how is that possible?!" Halt blurted out in shock.

"I don't know! There's no blue lights everywhere in one of the doors! I tried opening them, it's pointless."

Halt remains silent.

("Damn it! Am I too late?")

Halt tried to think a way to get inside Door 36, but he ran out of ideas.

Until suddenly popped out from his mind.

"Jack, Hide!" Halt called out both of them. "You can access a closet in Door 37, right? Try access a closet in there and observe the condition in Door 36!"

"Ah yes, what a genius idea!- wait, that means you're not coming with us." Jack blurted out.

"Yes. I place the responsiblity in you guys. Is it fine?"

"...W-well, since we have nothing to do." Hide muttered.

"Okay then, thanks guys!"

"You're welcome!"

Jack goes back inside the closet and immediately transported to one of the closets in Door 37. While Halt immediately goes back to his room to continue observing through the computer in the meantime (since that's all he can do at the moment).

"Are both of you guys feeling better now?" Light asked both Rush and Ambush, who's already patched up.

"Yeah. Thanks Light, you're the best." Ambush responded as Light gave them a warm smile, while Rush just frowned. Light takes notice on his expression.

"Rush? What's the matter?" Light asked. Rush who realised he was been asked immediately turned his head on her.

"Well..uh..." Rush started out. "Just knowing that this mysterious entity suddenly just came out of nowhere and attacks some of us here without reason elaborated...Like we- we need to find out why he's doing all this because there's no way this entity just suddenly attacks some of us without any valid reason."

"But how are we going to find out, when the way he just came off to Rush and I is just... so obnoxious- He didn't bother apologize for the damages he do, let alone telling us the reason for those?" Ambush deadpanned.

Light can only remain silent for a while before continue.

"I can...just try to reach out to his fragment memory to see and analyze anything about why would he do that, but my powers might not really strong to access his memory when he was still on full energy, which might make the process failed."

"So you mean, he needs to be in weakened state or low energy?" Figure asked.

"Yes, he needs to have his energy low or are in weakened state so I can easily access his memories without any trouble, but I doubt if any of the requirements fits him later when we're off to do that..not to mention last time he was strong enough to be not affected by the Crucifix.."

"But." Rush continued. "Atleast, you can try again, right?"

Light lowered her head for a while, considering her choices. After then, she looked at him.

"I guess it's worth another shot."

After she said that, Screech awakes. His friends immediately called out his name in relief. Light takes notice on this and approaches him.

"Hello Screech! Are you okay now?" She greets him.

"I guess..Where's Seek?" Screech responded.

"He..goes out for a while. I wanted to go out as well along with Figure. And maybe with Rush and Ambush too if they could proceed to walk."

"What happened to them?"

"Injured...But they all patched up!"

"Are they going to be okay?"

"Yes, we'll be fine Screech! Just take a rest, okay?" Ambush responded.

"Okay then!" Screech smiled. "Be careful outside!"

"Got it!" Ambush responded.

"Wait, both of you coming?" Light asked.

"Well yeah." Rush responded as he gets up from the stool along with Ambush.

"I'll accompany them while you're gone." Shadow said in the distance.

"Thank you for your generosity! That would be appreciated!" Light thanked him. Shadow just gave a light nod. Soon, the group leaves the Infirmary in order to search for Seek and to find the real reason behind the whole mess that's currently happening in the Hotel.

Jack and Hide on the other hand, they both manage to access one of the closets that's available in Door 37.

As Jack came out from the closet, he started to observe conditions in Door 36. Eyes were there, Seek too...but once he saw Glitch in there, he immediately hides.

"Jack, what's wrong..? Why are you hiding...?" Hide asked with her voice barely audible. But Jack still manage to reach out what she said.

"The anonymous entity, they're in Door 36 along with Seek and Eyes." Jack told her quietly. "I think we need to remain safe and sound so we don't get caught. We might get important informations as well."

After a long time of silence, the silent atmosphere started to broke thanks to Glitch.

"Aw, are you hesitate? Does your position matter much?" Glitch said blandly, referring to Seek.

"I could not let this position fall into the wrong hand." Seek muttered. "But I also can't tolerate what have you done to Screech. Why did you even bother to hurt an innocent child? Not to mention your whole "Courtyard happened" thing."

"Ahahaha! That's the first thing you wanted to ask me about?" Glitch blurted out, pissing Seek off. "Surely you don't want to give me the position, so you keep making random excuses and asking me things so that would buy you some time to escape from this case and I would just go on with your pitiful statement!"

"I won't ask twice!" Seek strengthen the large black hand grip, hoping it will make Glitch answer his question.

"Fine, so impatient geez." Glitch snorted. "I use him as a hostage as well with your precious Courtyard, so you would grab yourself out from your hiding place and immediately made contact with me!"

("Use Screech as a hostage..? That's unforgivable!") Jack thought while still remain hiding.

Seek trembled in anger for a second. Use the Courtyard and his adopted son as a hostage so he would come out only for this? Is he insane?!

"You...What the hell?!" Seek yelled. "How dare you risk a life of an innocent child and damage the Courtyard only for an idiotic matter like this! You just hurted my adopted son and destroyed the whole outdoor! How could I even trust you with a bigger position?!"

"There he is, with his tantrum." Glitch mocked, which cause Seek's blood to boiled.

"Every actions has it's own consequences." Seek balled both of his hands. "And I'll make sure..this will be no different."

Seek immediately throws Glitch on a wall through the black hand that grips him. As Glitch ought to rise again, the black hand started to crush him down on the ground.

Glitch still have few energy left to survive. He rises up as he hold the weight of the hand who crushes him to the ground.

"You fool, don't you know I can always do this?" Glitch said sternly as he started to corrupt the black hand, making Seek got knocked as he kneeled down.

("Damn it! I was being careless at keeping distance when attackking him..") Seek thought. Eyes was eye widened as they yelled out Seek's name.

Jack and Hide who observes from the distance gasped in horror.

"That monster!" Jack grittened his teeth. He pulled out a monochromatic gun which he keeps this whole time. He then ran towards Glitch's direction.

"J-Jack! Wh-where are you going-?" Hide yelled out quietly but her question remains unanswered.

As Seek try to bear the pain from getting corrupted slowly, Jack arrived and immediately points the gun at Glitch.

"Stop it this instant!" Jack yelled. "Or else, I'll shoot you to death!"

Eyes and Seek who saw his arrival was shocked.

"Jack?! What the hell are you doing here?! Get out while you still have the chance!" Eyes yelled.

"I will not run away from where I stand! I'm saving both of you!" Jack yelled out. Glitch started to throw the hand away as he walked straight to Jack's direction.

"Well, well, well...Who do we have here? Arrive too late- aren't you?" Glitch said. "It's too late to save them now. They soon will be brainwashed so they wont remember anything about you...or the friends that they had!"

"Stop coming closer! Or I'll shoot you!" Jack yelled out as he started to tremble. "Do you hear me?! I will not hesitate to pull the trigger!"

"I wanted to see...how long this threat goes." Glitch grinned.

Jack then started to look at Eyes, who rising up without Glitch's notice and holding a pole brick from the fallen building bricks using their psychic powers.

Eyes then made a sign language which instructs him that once he pulled the gun's trigger, they will stab Glitch at the back at the same time when the bullet finally got into him. Jack feels a bit relieved and approves the plan. Soon, he continues to face Glitch, who's yawning because nothing happened.

"You wanted this?! Then take a bullet for yourself!" Jack yelled as he pulled the trigger and shots Glitch. Glitch who didn't expect this coming immediately getting stabbed in the back by Eyes using a pole brick which been holded using psychic powers.

Because Glitch was being stabbed, the corrupting effect which is still ongoing on Seek was finally disabled as one of his black hands were no longer being corrupted and is back to normal.

Glitch lets out a dry laugh as he remove the bullet and the pole brick which stabs him. Jack, Eyes and Seek was eye widened. Not to mention Hide who's watching from afar.

"Wonderful assaulting, both of you." Glitch said as he throws the bullet and the pole brick back to where they used to came from.

Before the bullet and the pole brick hits both of them, Eyes already controlled both of the things using telekinesis and immediately throw them away to Door 36. Because both of them hitted Door 36, the 'optical illusion' effect, which was used to confuse Jack beforehand was gone. Jack was shocked to see that it's an optical illusion this whole time.

Seek who realised that he was no longer being corrupted immediately lets out a black chain, and spat.

"That's it, I'll end the fight with final straw!"

He soon ties Glitch up in it. This chain disables Glitch's abilities, in other words, he wouldn't be able to fight back.

Glitch can only grit his teeth while Seek looked satisfied when the mastermind finally got caught.

Light, Figure, Rush and Ambush ran as fast as they could to reach Door 36.

"Rush, do you really believe I can do that? The whole, 'finding his motives throughout his fragment memories' thing right? Despite my flaws last time.." Light asked, still doubting her abilities.

"Well, I believe you have the chance. Since he was being held off by Eyes, and probably other entities who came to assist them, he was supposed to get his energy drained." Rush responded. Light soon gave a little smile.

"I got a feeling that Eyes already know the answer about why would he do all those." Ambush muttered.

"Now I kinda get the same feeling as yours, too." Rush responded.

When they reached Door 37, they spotted an opened closet with Hide in it.

"Hide?!" Ambush gasped, which caused Hide to shock.

"G-guys?? Wh-what are you d-doing here-?" Hide asked stutterly.

"We're here to finish the job. Once and for all." Light answered.

They take a step forward, and another step, all way to Glitch's direction.

"Damn it! Release me from these chains!" Glitch cursed in anger.

"Not happening." Seek snorted. But soon he saw the group walking all the way towards Glitch's direction. Eyes who noticed that Seek was staring at a certain direction immedaitely turned their head on the group as well. Of course, Eyes was eye widened.

"You...What are you guys doing here?" Eyes asked in confusion.

"Finishing the job." Figure answered.

Soon, Light started to lighten up the chain and changes it's color and aura into blue. Glitch who was dead confused started to shout.

"What are you doing?!"

"Nothing special. This wont hurt." Light answered back blandly.

As she controls the blue chains, a blue circle was created on the ground, provides blue light which acts like some sort of barrier. Glitch was stunned at this point.

Light started to reach out a light that cames out from Glitch's head, which is his current conscious memory, which is being controlled. Light tries to resonate with the fragment memory, hoping to find an answer why would he cause the mess in the Hotel.

Soon, she found the main reason.

Being controlled by his own active Alter Ego, unaware by the victim of the control.

Made their own purpose in asserting domimance at this place after a long time staying the same realm for years.

Light starting to release the blue chains from Glitch, as she combined the memory and the chains with it. Eventually, it manage to merge into one piece of purple chain, which was later fallen down into the floor. Few seconds later, a shockwave speads in the whole area of the Hotel. Due to this shockwave, Screech is now fully cured from his glitchy disease. It also fixed the whole mess he made in the Courtyard.

After this process of merging, the blue circle dissapears and Glitch remains unconscious.

Everyone who's watching the process was stunned. After few moments of silence, Light started to spoke.

"The chain contains his controlled fragment memory, along with his Alter Ego. This chain shall be put inside a jar."

Everyone was shocked when they heard the word 'Alter Ego' at first, but soon just went on with it as they wait for Glitch to finally conscious.

After few moments has passed, Glitch finally awakes, and seemingly clueless about what just happened.

"What the hell...Where am I?" Glitch muttered.

"We got a lot of explaination and one interview to do." Eyes muttered to him.

After 2 hours of explaining and interviewing session...

"Well then. I apologize for the problems that I caused." Glitch apologized. "I hope I could make it all up for the better."

"You gotta make amends with real acts for this one, but we glad you came back to normal." Eyes said bluntly. "Welcome to The Hotel, new resident."

Soon, they all started to look for a good jar so Light can keep the purple chain in. Seek eventually found one and they started to scrutinize if it able to fit the chain inside. At the end, Light approves for jar to be used as a receptacle. Then, Light kept the jar in a safe place where no one will able to enter it unless Light gave them her permission.

(P.S. : The purple chain contains his controlled fragment memory and Glitch's Alter Ego, which means he won't be able to remember the memory which was being controlled and his Alter Ego was sealed inside and won't be able to break free until someone breaks the chain. The chain itself was very fragile, so that's why they need to be careful when holding the jar that contains it).

After this, Glitch met Shadow and Screech in the Infirmary and apologizes to them, and after then, he takes his leave back to his own realm. As for Seek and Screech, they finally be able to reunite together again like they used to. Everyone else was glad that Screech is okay by now. By the time this happens, the others who haven't known about Shadow yet, decides to meet him and introducing towards each other, eventually becoming acquaintances, but it took him time to reconsider to let them being acquaintances due to his trust issues.

Soon after a while, Seek eventually called Halt out and discussed about the hacking job that he had this whole time. Eyes was invited in this as well due to them actually know this secret of Halt for a long time. Seek eventually know that Halt is hacker this whole time and is the one who takes over the control over the cameras in the surrevilance room. But he agreed to kept it as a secret. Due to his talent as well, Seek decided to offer him the secondary security job while Eyes being the lead of the job, which Halt agrees and thanked for.

Things finally sorted out for the better.

In the meantime, they're living their normal lives as for now.

[Additional Info to clear things up]:

• When Eyes first met Shadow in Glitch's realm of Endless Boundaries, Shadow was kind of getting manipulated (by Glitch), seeing from how he agrees to go on with a dangerous plan which can risk peoples life and will not hesitate to fight people who dares to distract them from proceeding their plan despite being described as an entity who would deny all of those acts. The control spell was broken once Eyes mentionned his younger sister (Window). But he still manage to remember what he have done when he's still under control which was shown that he asked if Glitch really did all of those things and regrets following the plan.
• When Rush and Ambush entered Door 36 in Chapter 3, Rush did questioned if the previous mess in Door 36 (as shown in Chapter 1) was already been cleared by Seek, in fact, he did not clear the mess. Glitch is basically the one who clean the mess up to confuse whoever takes notice on the changes.
