Chapter Text
Amity and Camila were speechless. Mostly Amity, whose face was bright red, most definitely in the middle of a gay panic episode.
“How did you become part titan?” Camila asked.
Eda rushed down the stairs to interrupt the conversation. “That’s a story for a different day! I’m Eda!” She announced, holding out her hand. Camila smiled and pulled her into a hug.
“Don’t be silly, hermana, you’re family.” Camila whispered. King and Luz joined into the hug, and Camila was immediately thrown off by how different her baby girl felt. She was fluffy now, and had horns. She was also bigger. She was as tall as Camila now.
Luz turned back to Amity, who was still a blushing mess staring at her. “Amity, you ok?” Luz asked. Amity only nodded, causing Luz to chuckle, and walk over. She kissed Amity, causing her to almost faint. “I love you, Amity.” Luz whispered.
“I– I love you too, Luz.” Amity stuttered in response.
“I have a question.” Camila announced. “What exactly happened to Belos?”
“What’s left of Belos is stuck to my shoe.” Eda replied with a smile so wide you wouldn’t believe she was referring to a murder (although it was far more than justified).
“Our shoes, actually.” Raine corrected as they strolled into the room.

Hunter, Willow, and Gus got to see Luz’s new form the next day. They had no warning as they walked into the Owl House. Hunter squeaked in surprise. “Luz!?” Willow asked.
“Oh, hi guys! How was reuniting with your families?” Luz asked casually.
“Oh, it was pretty nice and emotional actually. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU THOUGH?” Gus screamed.
“Oh, right. I’m half titan now. I can do magic without glyphs! Watch!” Luz squealed.
“No magic in the house!” Eda screamed from the kitchen.
“You do magic in the house all the time!” Luz argued.
“Who was it who nearly disintegrated us with Stringbean’s power even before you got this new form?” Gus teased.
“Fair.” Luz replied, before walking past her friends to go outside. Hunter immediately noticed he was no longer the tallest of the group, and pouted. Gus was starstruck. Willow, however, was worried.
“Luz, are you okay?” Willow asked.
“Okay? I can do magic like a real witch now! I’m better than okay!”
“And when you go back to the Human Realm?”
“I guess I hadn’t thought about that…” Luz trailed off. Then, the small ball of light above her head got brighter. “I know! I could use a concealment stone!”
Willow stopped pushing it, but that feeling of worry didn’t leave her. She knew something was up with Luz.

“So, Willow, did you and Hunter confess yet?” Amity teased. They were sitting on the floor of Willow’s room, getting ready for another day of rebuilding the Isles. Willow blushed.
“Don’t know what you’re talking about. How are things with Luz?”
“Oh, she’s beautiful as ever. She seems a tad bit off, though.”
“How so?”
“Well, for one thing, her confidence level is through the roof. So, either she is hiding something again or the new form or her fight against Belos changed her a bit more than we thought.”
“What if it’s both?” Willow murmured. Amity’s eyes shot open like she had just realized something. “What is it, Amity?”
“Well, she and Eda have been keeping a secret. We still don’t know how she got the titan form.”
“Interesting…” Willow pondered.

A few hours later, they confronted Luz. “Luz, how did you get this new form?” Amity asked.
“It’s a long story, Sweet Potato.”
“Well, we’ve got time.” Willow replied.
Luz’s smile faded. “You’re gonna want to sit down.” Once both Amity and Willow sat down, Luz started the story. “We were fighting Belos, and the Collector was about to be hit, so I rushed in and saved them. In the process… I died, sort of. I met the titan, King’s dad. He gave me his power so that I could come back and save the Isles, at the cost of his own life.”
“Luz! You died !?” Amity screeched.
“Temporarily! But now I’m back and better than ever, it’s okay. I’m okay, Sweet Potato.” Luz reassured her.
Willow was too stunned to speak.
