Chapter Text
“Hup! That should be the last of them, Shikikan,” Kashino said, placing a crate down in the warehouse. “Thanks for the help, as always.”
“Hey, no problem. You’ve done a lot of work, so I thought I should help you out,” the man said, swiping away some sweat from his brow.
“Shikikan, if you’d like, we can head to the hot springs.”
“I’d like that a lot. But first, I have to ask something.”
“Yes?”
“Are there more crates than normal?” he asked, pointing around.
“Hmm… now that you mention it…”
Before she could further delve into the topic, the door opened, and walked in someone the two weren’t expecting.
“Oh, hallo Kommandant and Kashino,” Bismarck greeted them. For some reason, she was tip-toeing around, and gingerly closed the door behind her.
“Good day, Bismarck,” Kashino greeted back.
“May we ask why you’re sneaking around?” the Commander questioned.
“I’m here to get some stuff without alerting… Her ,” she ominously responded.
“‘Her’? Who’s that?”
“Nothing important. Did you receive shipment of T.E.A.?”
“‘T.E.A.’? You mean tea—”
“Shh!!” Bismarck commanded him, blinking to him and cupping his mouth. “Don’t say that word right now or she’ll hear you!”
Suddenly, the Commander’s phone thrilled. Pulling it out, it was a message from Hood.
“ Were you two talking about tea? ”
“No! No, we weren’t!” Bismarck shouted at the ceiling, while the other two were just watching this.
“Nah! I heard tea!” a voice called from behind them. Turning around, they saw that it was Hood — sitting at a table on top of the stacks of crates they made.
“Hood! You better not do it!” Bismarck demanded her, vigorously pointing her finger at her — as if they were having a lovers-quarrel.
“T H A T S H I T I S M I N E ! ! !” Hood shouted, before a light enveloped her, the table, and the crates she was on. A moment later, they were gone.
“What just—”
“Scheisse!” the Iron Blood leader cursed out. “I have to go, Kommandant.”
She then pulled out a full stein from behind her cape, started to chug it down, before disappearing as well. Thus, leaving the Commander and Kashino in a now less full warehouse, absolutely flabbergasted at what they just saw.
Slightly recovering, Kashino was able to move her arms, and pulled out two glasses of milk from a lunch bag by her.
“Milk?” she asked the Commander, extending one of the glasses to him.
Without a word, he took it out of her hands, clinked it with her’s, and drank it. They then walked out of the building, and headed towards the base’s hot springs.
