Summary:
This story takes place immediately following the Star Ending. Judy and V set out to confront the realities of their relationship and the future that awaits them.
In the arid desert outside Night City, Judy and V are trying to make a new life for themselves as V's condition steadily deteriorates. Chasing down every lead they can find, they must eventually decide how far to go as they find themselves questioning what purpose can be found in both life and death. Time will become both their greatest ally and their greatest enemy as they rage against the inevitable fate that awaits us all.

Notes:
After finishing Cyberpunk 2077 I felt myself being drawn back to the relationship between V and Judy and wanted to explore it more. Eventually I came to the determination that the best way for me to work through my thoughts and feelings was to actually put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard in this case) and tell my own story. I'll warn that this is the first story I've written in probably 25 years, so please be forgiving while reading. One other note...this story won't be diving heavily into plot conveniences as I wanted to keep the focus on these 2 characters, and use them as a mirror for how we face our own relationships and mortality. Hope you enjoy! I'm aiming to drop 1 chapter a week until complete (likely 9 in total but this may change based on how things flow). Edit: story is growing and will likely be 12 chapters! Chapter titles will reflect the names of Radiohead songs, because duh!
