Down in the ocean deep,
Where the water’s cool and sweet,
There lived a little lobster, With claws so strong and neat.

He scurried ‘round the rocks,
And played with his lobster friends,
But one day he felt something strange,
As the water began to get hot again.

Oh me, oh my, the lobster cried,
The water’s getting hotter,
And I fear I won’t survive.

He looked up to the sky,
And wondered what was wrong,
Was it something he had done,
That made the water feel so warm?

But then he saw the smoke,
And the boats up on the surface,
And knew that they were the cause,
Of this environmental circus.

Oh me, oh my, the lobster cried,
The water’s getting hotter,
And I fear I won’t survive.

He called out to his friends,
And said we must take a stand,
We need to tell the humans,
That they’re ruining our land.

They swam up to the boats,
And waved their claws up high,
And the humans looked down in wonder,
At these lobsters passing by.

Oh me, oh my, the lobster cried,
The water’s getting hotter,
But we’ll fight until we survive.

The humans finally listened,
And agreed to make a change,
They cleaned up their act,
And promised to not be so strange.

The water started cooling,
And the lobsters felt relief,
And they knew that they had won,
A battle for their beliefs.
